While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

How top arms exporters have responded to the war in Gaza: 2025 update

SIPR, October 3, 2025

By Zain Hussain

Following the 'Hamas-led attack on southern Israel on 7 October 2023, during which around 1200 Israelis were killed, Israel launched an intensive military campaign in Gaza, with the stated aims of destroying 'Hamas’s military and governing capabilities and bringing home 251 hostages taken during the incursion. This military campaign has continued, with little interruption, for the past two years.

As of 28 September 2025, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reports a cumulative total of over 66 000 direct conflict-related Palestinian fatalities in Gaza since 7 October 2023, as well as 369 verified deaths from malnutrition. The Israeli campaign has included airstrikes and ground assaults that have damaged or destroyed hospitalsschools and emergency shelters, as well as strikes or attacks on personnel and facilities of United Nations and other humanitarian actors.

A negotiated bilateral ceasefire came into effect between Hamas and Israel on 19 January 2025, part of a planned process supposed to result in the return of all remaining Israeli hostages and an end to the war. The ceasefire collapsed on 18 March, when Israel launched extensive airstrikes into Gaza.

On 16 May 2025 Israel launched Operation Gideon’s Chariots, a major escalation of its military offensive in Gaza with the stated aims of defeating Hamas, destroying its military and governmental capabilities, and increasing pressure for the release of the remaining hostages. On 8 August 2025 it was announced that the Israeli Security Cabinet had approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s proposal for the Israel Defense Forces to take control of Gaza City in a ground assault, which eventually began on 16 September.

The high death toll and the level of destruction in Gaza have aroused growing international concern and calls from states and international organizations for Israel to adopt a less aggressive strategy, lift restrictions on humanitarian access to Gaza, and end the conflict

Following Israel’s announcement of the planned takeover of Gaza City, the foreign ministers of Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Norway and the United Kingdom, along with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, published a joint statement ‘strongly rejecting’ the decision and arguing that the plan risked ‘violating international humanitarian law’.

Nineteen states have formally recognized the state of Palestine since October 2023, including Spain and, in September 2025, France and the UK. This brings the total number of UN member states that have recognized Palestine to at least 151

In September 2025 the UN’s Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, East Jerusalem and Israel concluded that the Israeli authorities and Israeli security forces ‘have committed and are continuing to commit . . . genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip’. The commission also concluded that Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant ‘have incited the commission of genocide and that Israeli authorities have failed to take action against them to punish this incitement’. It further said that ‘statements made by Israeli authorities are direct evidence of genocidal intent’ and that ‘the pattern of conduct is circumstantial evidence of genocidal intent and that the genocidal intent was the only reasonable inference that could be drawn from the totality of the evidence’. Among its recommendations to UN member states were to:

Cease the transfer of arms and other equipment or items, including jet fuel, to the State of Israel or third States where there is reason to suspect their use in military operations that have involved or could involve the commission of genocide.

Even before this, several states have announced plans to limit supplies of military equipment to Israel in the past year, citing Israel’s conduct of the war. In July 2025 Slovenia announced that it would prohibit all import, export and transit of weapons to and from Israel and would ‘prepare other national measures against the current Israel Government, whose actions represent serious violations of international humanitarian law’.

This backgrounder looks at developments over the past year in the policy and practice of six of the world’s top 10 exporters of ‘major conventional arms’ in 2020–24, according to the SIPRI Arms Transfers Database, in relation to the war in Gaza. It also includes the latest available SIPRI data on transfers of major conventional arms to Israel. As such, it updates a similar backgrounder by the author published in October 2024. It does not intend to provide an exhaustive overview of all relevant developments, within these states or globally.

Arms transfers to Israel

In the past decade Israel has greatly increased its imports of arms. SIPRI estimates that in the five-year period 2020–24, Israel was the world’s 15th largest importer of major arms, accounting for 1.9 per cent of global arms imports in the period. A decade earlier, in 2010–14, Israel ranked 34th

Although only three countries supplied major arms to Israel in 2020–24, the United States, Germany and Italy, many others are known to have supplied military components, ammunition or services. This backgrounder looks first at the USA, Germany and Italy, and then at three more states among the top 10 global exporters of major conventional arms: the UK, France and Spain. The four other global arms exporters among the top 10 are excluded from the analysis: Russia and China (the third and fourth largest exporters) because they are not known to supply any arms to Israel; South Korea (the 10th largest exporter) because its exports to Israel are minimal; and Israel itself (the eighth largest exporter).

The United States

According to SIPRI data, in 2020–24, the USA provided 66 per cent of Israel’s imports of major arms. These included aircraft, armoured vehicles, missiles, ships and air defence systems. These transfers were funded by both direct purchases by Israel and US military assistance.

In April 2025 the US government claimed to have provided Israel with over US$130 billion in bilateral assistance since 1948, ‘focused on addressing new and complex security threats, bridging Israel’s capability gaps through security assistance and cooperation, increasing interoperability through joint exercises, and helping Israel maintain its Qualitative Military Edge (QME)’. Israel is the leading global recipient of Title 22 US security assistance under the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) programme, formalized by a 10-year memorandum of understanding (2019–28). Under the memorandum, the USA provides $3.3 billion in FMF and $500 million for cooperative programmes for missile defence annually.

Throughout 2024 and 2025, the USA has continued to support Israel militarily through arms supplies and deployments of its own forces. Arms deliveries in 2024 included missiles, bombs and armoured personnel carriers.

The administration of President Donald J. Trump has signalled its firm commitment to supporting Israel and publicly distanced itself from some of the criticism that Trump’s predecessor, Joe Biden, made of Israel’s actions. In January 2025 President Trump liftedthe hold that Biden had put on the transfer to Israel of a shipment of Mk-84 2000-pound bombs. The hold had been imposed in May 2024 because of concerns about Israel’s planned military offensive in Rafah Governorate.

In 2025 the US State Department has continued to notify the US Congress about a number of potential arms sales to Israel.

In February 2025 the State Department, declaring that an emergency exists to bypass Congressional review, notified Congress about three potential arms sales to Israel: $2.04 billion for 35 529 2000-pound bombs (Mk-84 or BLU-117 general purpose bodies, or a combination of both) and 4000 I-2000 Penetrator warheads; $675.7 million for nearly 5000 1000-pound bombs and guidance kits; and $295 million for Caterpillar D9 bulldozers. In March US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that he had signed a declaration to use emergency authorities to expedite the delivery of approximately $4 billion in military assistance to Israel. In the same announcement Rubio said that since Trump had taken office on 20 January 2025, the administration had approved nearly $12 billion in major Foreign Military Sales to Israel.

Germany

In 2020–24 Germany accounted for 33 per cent of Israel’s imports of major conventional arms. These were mainly for Israel’s naval forces: 81 per cent of the transfers were frigates and another 10 per cent were torpedoes. The remaining 8.5 per cent were armoured vehicle engines, including those for armoured vehicles used in the war in Gaza. Sa’ar 6-class frigates (MEKO A-100 Light Frigates) supplied by Germany have also been used in the conflict.

On 8 August 2025 Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that the German government would not authorize any further exports of military equipment that could be used in Gaza until further notice. Merz reiterated the German government’s positions that Israel has a right to defend itself; that release of all remaining hostages and ‘purposeful’ negotiation towards a ceasefire were the top priority; and that Hamas should be disarmed and ‘must not play a role in the future of Gaza’. However, he said that the German government believed that the ‘even harsher military action’ approved by the Israeli Security Cabinet (referring to the plan to take over Gaza City) would make those goals harder to achieve.

Italy

In 2020–24 Italy accounted for 1 per cent of Israel’s imports of major arms. Most of these comprised light helicopters (59 per cent); the remainder were naval guns (41 per cent) to equip frigates supplied by Germany. Apart from these, Italy is also a partner in the F-35 programme, for which it produces components. The F-35 programme is a US-led programme to produce the F-35 combat aircraft. It involves the production of parts and components by eight partner states, including Italy and the UK (see below). The F-35 has been used by Israel in its military operations, including in Gaza. Concerns about the potential use of the F-35 by Israel to carry out violations of international humanitarian law have led to much criticism of transfers of the aircraft or its parts to Israel.

In an interview in August 2025 published by the Italian foreign ministry, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani condemned Israel’s plan to invade Gaza, saying ‘this carnage cannot continue’. He also stated that ‘since 7 October two years ago, Italy has not sold arms to Israel’. However, following a similar statement by Tajani in January 2024, Defence Minister Guido Crosetto clarified that arms exports to Israel continued, but only deliveries under contracts signed before 7 October 2023, and that these exports were only allowed after checks to ensure that any weapons would not be used against civilians in Gaza.

In its 2024 ‘Report on operations authorized and carried out concerning the control of export, import and transit of weapons materiel as well as the export and transit of high-technology products’, the Italian government mentions—regarding data for authorizations of individual export licences—that: ‘Israel is not included in the 2024 data, as the characteristics of the Israeli intervention in Gaza have led the UAMA national authority not to grant new export authorizations pursuant to Law No. 185/1990.’ The Unit for the Authorization of Armament Materials (UAMA) is Italy’s national authority for export control of arms and dual-use items.

The United Kingdom

According to SIPRI data, the UK has not exported any major arms to Israel since the 1970s. However, the UK does supply Israel with components for various systems such as aircraft, radars and targeting equipment, including components for the F-35 combat aircraft. Export data reveals that, in the last quarter of 2024, the UK approved Standard Individual Export Licences (SIELs) for exports of military goods to Israel worth £127.6 million ($170.8 million)—more than the combined exports between 2020 and 2023

In September 2024 the UK suspended around 30 previously issued licences for exports of military equipment to Israel that could be used in Gaza. The decision excluded ‘UK components for the multi-national F-35 joint strike fighter programme . . . except where going directly to Israel’.

report jointly published in May 2025 by the Palestinian Youth Movement, Workers for a Free Palestine, and Progressive International analysed Israeli Tax Authority (ITA) data to argue that, between October 2023 and March 2025, thousands of military goods were sent to Israel from the UK. The report garnered media and political attention in the UK, leading a senior figure in the Labour Party, John McDonnell, to call for a full investigation into Foreign Secretary David Lammy, arguing that Lammy may have misled parliament, in breach of ministerial code. Lammy subsequently denied this. It is worth noting here that ITA data cannot necessarily be taken at face value, as there are issues that complicate the determination of imports of military equipment, including ambiguities in the recording of the data.

On 30 June 2025 the High Court of Justice in London dismissed a legal challenge against the UK government brought by Palestinian human rights organization Al-Haq (with Oxfam, Amnesty International UK, and Human Rights Watch as interveners). Al-Haq had argued that the decision to exclude transfers of F-35 parts from the suspension of arms export licences to Israel announced in September 2024 (unless they were supplied directly to Israel) was unlawful. The issue of jurisdiction was key to the decision, with the court concluding that the issue of whether the UK must withdraw from the F-35 programme was not a matter for courts to decide, but for the executive.

In August 2025 Israel’s Ministry of Defense announced that there would be no Israeli national pavilion at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) UK arms fair in September, due to the UK government placing ‘unilateral restrictions’ on Israeli officials’ and military representatives’ participation.

The UK government’s statement on recognition of Palestine did not include a clarification on how this might impact the supply of arms or military equipment to Israel.

France

SIPRI data does not show any French exports of major arms to Israel in 2020–24. The last recorded exports of major arms to Israel from France were in 1998. However, France has supplied components for arms.

In a radio interview released on 5 October 2024, French President Emmanuel Macron said: ‘I think the priority today, is to go back to a political solution, to stop delivering arms to carry out fighting in Gaza. France does not deliver them.’ At the Francophonie summit meeting the same day, Macron stated: ‘If one is calling for a ceasefire, coherence would be to not supply weapons of war.’ These statements sparked a strong response from Prime Minister Netanyahu, following which Macron’s office issued a statement that France remained a steadfast friend of Israel.

In June 2025, aiming to silence ‘continual accusations’ that France continued to supply arms to Israel, Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu declassified a document listing arms components exported from France to Israel in 2024, which he claimed were strictly for the defence of the civilian population or destined for re-export and showed that France does not export arms to Israel. The declassified document reportedly details subcategories, including parts supplied for ‘re-export only’ and others for Israel’s Iron Dome air-defence system.

In September 2025 French media outlet Mediapart obtained a copy of the Ministry of the Armed Forces’ 2025 report to parliament on arms exports, covering 2024. The report says that the value of French deliveries to Israel fell by half in 2024 compared with 2023, although the value of new orders reached €27.1 million ($30.8 million), above the average for the decade. The report also says that two thirds of these orders were for components ‘that will be integrated into systems for re-export to third countries’, and reiterated the official policy position that France exports to Israel only components intended for re-export or for defensive systems.

Transfers of military equipment to Israel have continued to come under scrutiny and criticism in France. For example, in June 2025, dock workers in a port near Marseille refused to load crates containing ammunition links manufactured by the French company Eurolinks onto a ship destined for Israel. In a televised response, Lecornu said that one reason France did not export arms to Israel was that ‘Israel is one of the main competitors to the French industry’.

France has also taken measures to limit the representation of Israeli arms producers at French arms fairs. For example, in June 2025 the French government ordered the closure of five stands hosted by Israeli arms manufacturers (Aeronautics, Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries, Rafael and UVision) at the Paris Air Show for showcasing ‘offensive weapons’.

Spain

Since October 2023, the Spanish government has advocated restrictions on the supply of arms to Israel in international forums and the media.

Spain’s latest national report on exports of defence and dual-use material, covering the first half of 2024, states that Spain has implemented an ‘extremely restrictive’ policy on issuing export licences for defence materials to Israel, and has authorized ‘no permanent exports of any lethal weapons or equipment’ since 2001. Furthermore, since October 2023, no new ‘definitive export operations of defence material’ to Israel have been authorized. The report states that in the first half of 2024, the only defence-related exports were some ‘non-lethal’ items sent to Israel for repair and maintenance before being returned to Spain or sent on to the Philippines armed forces.

Spain has not only limited arms exports to Israel but also sought to restrict arms imports from that country.

In September 2025 Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced that his government would adopt nine ‘additional measures’ that aimed to help ‘stop the genocide in Gaza, prosecute its perpetrators, and support the Palestinian population’. The new measures include the approval of a law legally consolidating the arms embargo on Israel imposed in October 2023 and establishment of a permanent legal ban on the purchase from and sale to Israel of weapons, ammunition and military equipment. Furthermore, all state aircraft transporting defence material destined for Israel were to be denied entry to Spanish airspace.

This followed the cancellation of a €6.6 million ($7.1 million) contract for bullets from an Israeli company in April 2025, and of a contract to purchase 165 Spike LR2 anti-tank missile systems and 1650 Spike missiles from Elbit Systems, worth €285 million ($324 million).

Following the announcement of the new measures, Spain cancelled a contract for Israeli-designed rocket launchers (12 SILAM rocket launcher systems based on the PULS platform made by Elbit Systems), which had been ordered in 2023.

BEIRUT, (PIC)

At least two Lebanese brothers were martyred and several others were injured, in an Israeli air strike on the village of El-Bayyadh, in the Soor, Tyre, district in southern Lebanon on Monday.

Citing the Lebanese Ministry of Health, Lebanon’s National News Agency said the strike hit a sawmill on the outskirts of the village of El-Bayyadh in the Soor (Tyre) district, killing two brothers and wounding several others.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to target homes, businesses, vehicles and motorcycles in different areas of southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement that started on November 27, 2025.

Under the agreement, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime was to withdraw all of its forces from southern Lebanon, but despite the deal, these forces have remained at five Lebanese border positions.

El-Bursh: Gaza health situation catastrophic, famine returning due to ongoing Israeli siege

Tuesday 28-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Health officials have warned of the return of famine and a total collapse of the health system in the Gaza Strip as the Israeli occupation’s ongoing blockade continues to choke off humanitarian aid and medical supplies to the besieged enclave.

Dr Muneer El-Bursh, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said on Monday that the Israeli occupation continues to prevent the entry of essential medical supplies, including intravenous solutions, deepening what he described as a “catastrophic reality” for the health sector.

He warned that the effects of the blockade will soon become even more devastating, as hospitals already struggle to operate amid severe shortages of medicine, power, and clean water.

According to al-Bursh, treatments for cancer patients have completely stopped due to the depletion of essential drugs and treatment protocols, leading to at least one death every day in the Strip.

He added that patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension are also unable to access their medications.

Al-Bursh noted that the outbreak of the “Guillain-Barré” virus has been spreading due to the collapse of sanitation systems and the lack of clean water, urging the international community to open an urgent medical and humanitarian corridor to save thousands of patients.

He revealed that more than 22,000 patients in Gaza are in need of travel abroad for treatment, including 18,000 who have already completed all medical procedures but are still waiting for Israeli approval to leave.

The warning comes as Gaza faces one of its most difficult recovery phases, with nearly 90 percent of its civilian infrastructure destroyed and around two million Palestinians forcibly displaced.

The genocide has claimed the lives of over 77,000 people, including more than 20,000 children and 12,500 women, in addition to hundreds of medical, media, and humanitarian workers. Another 170,000 have been injured.

The Ministry of Health stressed that humanitarian and medical conditions in Gaza have reached a critical point, calling for an immediate international response to deliver medical supplies and surgical consumables.

It said that the suspension of specialized and diagnostic services is deepening the crisis and halting complex surgical operations.

The ministry concluded by warning that delays in humanitarian and medical intervention would worsen the suffering of Gaza’s population, urging international health and humanitarian organizations to act swiftly to rescue what remains of the shattered healthcare system.

OCHA: More than 470,000 people displaced to northern Gaza since the ceasefire

NEW YORK, October 28, 2025 (WAFA) –

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced on Tuesday that more than 470,000 displacements have been recorded towards northern Gaza since the ceasefire agreement went into effect on October 10.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) explained in a statement that Palestinian families in Gaza continue to return to their destroyed homes, despite the dangers surrounding many buildings, the spread of unexploded ordnance, and the urgent need for water, food, and basic services.

It reported that Palestinians in Gaza have continued to move across the Strip over the past two days, with more than 470,000 movements northward recorded since the ceasefire, according to the UN News website.

OCHA indicated that aid continues to enter the Strip, stating that more than 300 trucks loaded with aid crossed into Gaza, most of them through the Israeli Kerem Shalom crossing on Friday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said that UN partners continue their work to reduce the threat of unexploded ordnance in the Gaza Strip, warning of its danger, especially as Gaza residents return to their homes.

He reported that since October 7, 2023, humanitarian workers have recorded 150 incidents involving explosive ordnance, resulting in injuries, including children.

Despite the end of the war, approximately 20,000 unexploded Israeli shells and missiles remain, posing a direct and real threat to the lives of the 2.4 million Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip.

He warned Palestinians against tampering with unexploded ordnance or suspicious objects from the Israeli military.

UN Committee urges global support for Palestinians’ right to self-determination and independent state

NEW YORK, October 28, 2025 (WAFA) –

The United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory on Tuesday urged member states to use all available means to ensure the continuation of the ceasefire and to provide broad international support for the Palestinian right to self-determination and the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The commission presented its report on Tuesday to the Third Committee of the General Assembly, which is concerned with social, humanitarian, and cultural affairs. A large part of its work focuses on examining human rights issues.

The commission concluded that "Israel is responsible for four acts of genocide in Gaza with the specific intent of destroying Palestinians" in the Strip, and found that "the Israeli President, Prime Minister, and former Defense Minister incited genocide."

Commission Chair Navi Pillay said that member states must also focus on ensuring justice and accountability for all victims by supporting the International Criminal Court in its investigations and using universal jurisdiction to conduct their own investigations, including into their dual nationals suspected of crimes.

Regarding Gaza, the commission found that Israeli officials have demonstrated a clear and consistent intent to establish permanent military control over Gaza and alter its demographic composition.

“Civilian infrastructure and natural resources essential to the survival of the civilian population in the corridors and buffer zones have been destroyed, land fragmented, and Palestinians forcibly transferred. Israeli officials have publicly endorsed plans for population transfer, settlement construction, and land annexation.”

Regarding the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, Pillay said that Israeli policies and actions implemented since October 2023, including “explicit and implicit support for the criminal actions of the colonizers, demonstrate a clear intent to forcibly transfer Palestinians, expand the Israeli Jewish civilian presence, and annex most of the West Bank.”

She said the goal “is to prevent any possibility of Palestinian self-determination and statehood and to maintain the occupation indefinitely,” adding, “It pains me that, in my last presentation as Chair of this commission, the post-World War II multilateral system has failed to prevent this genocide. The inadequacies of the international system have been exposed.”

'Hamas: Israeli claims over delays in handing over captives’ bodies meant to mislead public opinion

Tuesday 28-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has rejected the Israeli occupation’s claims that accuse the resistance of delaying the search and recovery of the bodies of its soldiers in the Gaza Strip.

'Hamas stressed that these allegations are “completely baseless” and are intended to mislead public opinion and fabricate pretexts for launching renewed attacks against the Palestinian people, violating the ceasefire agreement.

'Hamas also emphasized that the Israeli occupation is deliberately obstructing humanitarian efforts. It has blocked joint teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Palestinian resistance from entering multiple areas of Gaza to search for remains and has also denied the entry of heavy machinery essential to expedite recovery efforts.

The Movement also highlighted that the Israeli occupation has hindered the recovery of the bodies of Palestinian martyrs still trapped under the rubble, further deepening the suffering of their families. Hamas warned that such practices will only escalate tensions and worsen the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

'Hamas called on mediators and guarantors to immediately pressure the Israeli occupation to allow the relevant humanitarian teams to fulfill their responsibilities, free from political or hostile calculations.

On Monday evening, 'Hamas spokesperson 'Hazim Qasim clarified that the Movement has already handed over 18 bodies of Israeli captives in Gaza. He noted that limited field capabilities continue to delay the recovery of the remaining bodies.

Qasim strongly denied media claims, circulated by certain Israeli outlets, that Hamas knows the locations of all the bodies but is unwilling to return them. He described these allegations as “false and deceptive,” especially given the major changes Gaza has endured due to the ongoing Israeli assault.

The spokesperson confirmed 'Hamas’s commitment to handing over 13 additional bodies currently in Gaza, including 10 Israeli soldiers captured on October 7, 2023, one Israeli missing since 2014, and two foreign workers, one Thai and one Tanzanian.

This stance aligns with the ceasefire agreement signed on October 10, 2025, brokered by the United States, Qatar, and Egypt. The deal stipulates a cessation of hostilities in Gaza and includes Hamas’s release of 20 captives and the transfer of 18 bodies out of a total of 28 that Israel declared dead. Hamas has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering the remaining bodies at a later stage.

QB to hand over another Israeli corpse tonight

Tuesday 28-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, has said it will hand over the body of another Israeli captive found in one of its tunnels tonight as part of the ceasefire agreement over the Gaza Strip.

In a statement on Tuesday afternoon, al-Qassam Brigades said the remains would be transferred at 8:00 p.m. local time.

The Brigades has already handed the remains of 18 Israeli hostages and is making ongoing efforts to locate the remaining bodies as it does not know their precise whereabouts.

On Monday, Hamas spokesman 'Hazim Qasim dismissed Israeli claims that the Movement knows the whereabouts of Israeli corpses, describing them as “unfounded,” “especially in light of the relentless Israeli bombardment that has drastically changed Gaza’s landscape.”

Gaza faces deadly health and environmental collapse as hepatitis cases surge past 70,000

Tuesday 28-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

A senior medical official in the Gaza Strip has warned of an escalating health disaster, with more than 70,000 cases of hepatitis reported, amid a total collapse of medical and sanitation systems caused by Israel’s ongoing genocide in the enclave.

Dr. Khalil al-Daqran, spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, said that the immediate opening of border crossings is a “matter of life and death,” stressing that thousands of patients urgently need treatment outside the besieged territory.

He described the humanitarian situation as “beyond catastrophic,” noting that more than 10,000 people remain missing beneath the rubble, while the identities of over 68,000 martyrs have been confirmed so far.

Al-Daqran added that thousands of bodies are still trapped under destroyed buildings because recovery crews cannot access many areas under the control of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and due to a lack of heavy equipment. He called on Arab countries to intervene immediately to help retrieve the martyrs.

The doctor revealed that the Israeli occupation has allowed only nine trucks of medical supplies to enter Gaza, far short of what is needed to meet the enormous shortfall. More than 41 percent of kidney patients have died since the start of the genocide, he said, warning that 67 percent of essential medical supplies are completely unavailable in Gaza’s health system.

Environmental and health catastrophe

The city of Gaza is also facing a severe environmental crisis as large amounts of untreated sewage have flooded the streets, threatening to spread further diseases among residents.

The crisis has been worsened by the Israeli blockade on municipal teams, who have been prevented from reaching the main landfill in the Juhor al-Deek area. As a result, more than 250,000 tons of waste have piled up across the city.

The destruction of 85 percent of municipal vehicles during Israel’s assault has crippled local authorities’ ability to clean streets or control the growing rodent and insect infestations.

Meanwhile, the ongoing water shortage continues to deepen the suffering of Gaza’s population, compounding what local officials describe as one of the gravest public-health emergencies in modern history.

Quarter million tons of waste pile up in Gaza, threatening lives as IOFs block access to dump sites

Tuesday 28-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Gaza City officials have warned that more than a quarter of a million tons of garbage have piled up across the city, creating what they described as an “environmental and health catastrophe” amid a severe shortage of clean water and ongoing sewage leaks.

In a statement on Tuesday, municipal spokesperson Asim Al-Nabeeh sounded the alarm over the worsening crisis caused by two years of Israeli genocide and the destruction of essential infrastructure and service equipment.

“Gaza City is facing multiple environmental and health disasters that threaten the lives of residents, including acute water shortages and the accumulation of over 250,000 tons of waste throughout the city,” Al-Nabeeh said.

He added that the uncollected waste has led to the spread of rodents and insects, endangering public health.

The municipality, he explained, is unable to resolve the crisis because the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) destroyed more than 85 percent of its heavy and medium equipment during the two-year war, and no replacements have been provided.

He also revealed that the IOF prevents municipal crews from accessing the main landfill located in the Juhor al-Dik area, southeast of Gaza City, which lies east of what is known as the “Yellow Line.”

The Yellow Line marks the first withdrawal boundary outlined in the plan of US president Donald Trump as part of the initial phase of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, which took effect on October 10.

The line separates areas where the IOF still maintain positions on the eastern side from those where civilians are allowed limited movement in the west.

On October 10, the IOF partially withdrew from certain positions inside the Gaza Strip to new sites east of the Yellow Line, which, according to Israeli estimates, covers more than half of the territory.

Al-Nabeeh further warned that large amounts of sewage have begun leaking into several streets, worsening the environmental and health disaster.

During the two years of genocide, the IOF targeted Gaza’s sewage networks, destroying over 700,000 meters of pipelines across the Strip, according to the Government Media Office (GMO).

The municipal spokesman urged immediate international intervention to provide essential equipment, fuel, and access to restricted areas, including the main landfill in Juhor al-Dik. “Without these necessities,” he said, “the crises will persist, and residents will face deadly risks from diseases and epidemics.”

Despite the declared end of the genocide, Gazans continue to endure dire humanitarian conditions amid the near-total collapse of infrastructure and public services.

The GMO reported that around 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed, with preliminary estimates placing the cost of the total damage at roughly $70 billion.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime issues demolition, construction halt orders for 14 structures near El-Khaleel (Hebron)

El-Khaleel (Hebron), October 28, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime issued issued demolition and construction halt orders against 14 homes, a community center, and an agricultural and service facility in Khirbet Umm El-Khair in Masafir Yatta, south of Hebron. This move paves the way for a widespread demolition and displacement campaign.

WAFA correspondent said that Israeli troops stormed Khirbet Umm al-Khair in Masafir Yatta and delivered demolition and halt of construction notices to residents, including the seizure of citizens' property.

Khaleel El-Hathaleen, head of the Khirbet Umm al-Khair Council, said that the occupation forces, accompanied by the so-called "Civil Administration," delivered final demolition notices targeting several homes and residential and service facilities. These included:

Umm El-Khair Community Center – a final demolition order; a plastic house measuring approximately 500 square meters, owned by Khalil Muhammad al-Hathalin – a final demolition order; and residential homes owned by Yasser Eid al-Hathalin, Sarah Eid al-Hathalin, Khalil Shuaib al-Hathalin, Khairallah Suleiman al-Hathalin, Hussam Salem Eid al-Hathalin, Bilal Salem Eid al-Hathalin, Musa Suleiman al-Hathalin, Eid Suleiman al-Hathalin, Maliha Hamad al-Hathalin, and Omar Suleiman al-Hathalin – all of which received final demolition orders; the home of Zayed Suleiman al-Hathalin – a stop-work order; and a health unit owned by Khadra Suleiman al-Hathalin – a final demolition order.

Khirbet Umm El-Khair is among the most targeted Bedouin communities in Masafir Yatta. Since 2007, it has witnessed more than 20 demolition orders targeting over 100 residential, agricultural, and service facilities, the most recent of which was in February 2025.

Residents of the community live in dire condition, especially following the killing  of Hajj Suleiman al-Hathalin, and the escalation of violence by colonists who recently established a colonial outpost within the village's lands, in a renewed attempt to displace the residents and seize their lands.

Israel municipality continues to demolish shops, kiosks in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) as police heavily deployed

El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), October 28, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli municipality crews in occupied Jerusalem continued their demolition campaign on Tuesday targeting small shops, kiosks, and street vendors' stalls around Bab El-'Amoud, one of the most prominent entrances to the Old City.

The demolition campaign is taking place under heavy protection from Israeli police, who prevented the owners from reaching their premises.

Since the morning, the area has witnessed a widespread deployment of Israeli occupation forces and police, who have closed off the area around Bab El-'Amoud.

This campaign is part of a policy aimed at restricting Jerusalemite vendors, seizing their property, and depriving them of their livelihood, as part of a plan to Judaize the Holy City.

Over 150 writers boycott the New York Times over pro-Israel bias

Tuesday 28-October-2025

NEW YORK, (PIC)

More than 150 contributors to The New York Times have announced a boycott of the paper’s opinion section, protesting its “clear bias” in its coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the ongoing war on Gaza.

According to Middle East Eye, the contributors have pledged to stop submitting work to the paper, condemning its editorial stance as favoring the Israeli narrative.

The writers urged the Times to reevaluate its editorial direction and update its style guide on Israel and Palestine. They also called for the US to ban arms exports being used in the war.

In a letter addressed to the Times, they wrote, “Until The New York Times takes responsibility for its biased coverage and commits to telling an honest, ethical story of the US-Israeli war on Gaza, any contribution to its Opinion section amounts to complicity in that neglect.”

“Only by withholding our efforts can we effectively challenge the dominant power the Times wields to whitewash US and Israeli lies.”

Among the signatories are dozens of high-profile activists, artists, and political figures including Rima Hassan, Chelsea Manning, Rashida Tlaib, Sally Rooney, Elia Suleiman, Greta Thunberg, Viet Thanh Nguyen, and Dave Zirin.

The letter also stated, “We owe it to Palestinian journalists and writers to refuse complicity with the Times and to demand an explanation for its failures, so it cannot continue justifying mass slaughter, torture, and displacement.”

Other notable signatories include Chris Hedges, Marc Lamont Hill, Noura Erakat, Vijay Prashad, Mariame Kaba, Robin D.G. Kelley, Mohammed El-Kurd, Susan Stryker, Jia Tolentino, Eve L. Ewing, Dean Spade, Nyle Fort, Susan Abulhawa, and Rashid Khalidi.

The writers outlined three key demands for the Times to review and correct anti-Palestinian bias in its reporting, with new editorial standards for Palestinian issues, adopt updated practices in sourcing and quoting to ensure balanced narratives, develop a new style guide for describing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

They also emphasized the need to bar any journalist with service in the Israeli military from working at the paper, arguing that this is the bare minimum for professional neutrality.

The writers concluded, “Since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, The New York Times has justified and concealed war crimes, continuing its decades-long role as a platform for the official Israeli and US government narratives.”

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
