While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

IOFs commit 11 new violations of the ceasefire with Lebanon

Thursday 30-January-2025

BEIRUT, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon and the Islamic Resistance “Hezbollah” over the past 24 hours, committing 11 new violations.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the occupation army is persisting in its aggression against the properties and livelihoods of citizens. Early this morning, Thursday, they set fire to a poultry farm near Tal Nahas – Deir Mimass.

It noted that the outskirts of the town of Shebaa, southern Lebanon, are subjected to artillery shelling by the occupation forces. An Israeli drone struck a house belonging to the “Al-Daoud” family last night with a guided missile at the northern entrance of the town of Yahr al-Shuqif. The Lebanese agency indicated that the house had previously been destroyed in an earlier assault on Lebanon.

The National News Agency reported that the occupation forces continue to burn, demolish, and blow up houses in the Ras al-Dahr area west of the town of Mays al-Jabal.

Occupation forces fired a hail of bullets at one of the houses in the border town of Ramish, resulting in no human casualties but causing material damage to the house and shattering its windows. They targeted Lebanese citizens gathering and an ambulance belonging to the “Islamic Al-Resala Scouts” at the entrance to Maroun al-Ras.

Last night, the occupation forces arrested four citizens who were checking on their home at the outskirts of Maroun al-Ras, and opened fire on two others who were injured while attempting to enter the town. Occupation forces detained an ambulance vehicle from the “Al-Resala Scouts” in Maroun al-Ras that was trying to transport the wounded.

According to the Lebanese official agency, the occupation forces advanced 100 meters from the position of the Lebanese army at the western entrance of the town of Mays al-Jabal.

The National News Agency noted that an Israeli bulldozer is clearing and raising earth mounds in the middle of the road after bypassing the UNIFIL forces’ center in the Mafailah neighborhood, protected by a Merkava tank that was firing ahead of it.

Israeli war drones flew over the Lebanese capital, Beirut, reaching the southern suburbs at low altitude. For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the total casualties from the occupation’s assaults were as follows: 5 injured in Majdal Selim, 2 injured in Maroun al-Ras, and one wounded person.

The Palestinian Resistance Movement in Gaza releases three Israeli captives in exchange for 110 Palestinian prisoners

Thursday 30-January-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Resistance Movement in the Gaza Strip released on Thursday morning another group of Israeli captives in exchange for 110 Palestinian prisoners, including children, slated for release from Israeli jails later today.

Agam Berger, a 20-year-old Israeli soldier, was released by al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas during a ceremony after she emerged from under the rubble of a house at Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza.

The second prisoner handover took place in the southern city of Khan Younus next to the bombed house of martyr Ye'hya Al-Sinwar, Hamas’s top leader in Gaza, where Israeli Arbel Yehoud and Gadi Mozes, both Israeli civilians, were released by al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad.

In addition to those Israeli captives, five Thai workers were reportedly released on the same day. All the detainees were handed over to Red Cross crews in northern and southern Gaza.

Later, the Red Cross handed the released captives over to the Israeli occupation forces before they were transported into Israel (1948 occupied territory).

Meanwhile, preparations are being made to release 110 Palestinian prisoners today, including 30 children and 32 people who were sentenced to life imprisonment,

75% of agricultural fields in Gaza damaged, and livestock losses reached 96%

Thursday 30-January-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported that 75% of the fields in the Gaza Strip, previously used for crop cultivation and olive orchards, have been damaged or destroyed due to the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza since October 7, 2023.

The UN organization revealed that more than two-thirds of agricultural wells are no longer operational, leading to a shortage of irrigation water. Meanwhile, livestock losses have reached 96%, milk production has nearly stopped, and only 1% of poultry remains alive. The fishing sector is on the brink of collapse, exacerbating food insecurity.

The organization believes that a ceasefire in Gaza provides a critical opportunity to address the catastrophic food crisis by delivering emergency aid and initiating early recovery efforts, as over 2 million people urgently need assistance due to the collapse of agricultural production.

Antoine Renard, the World Food Program director in Palestine, stated that the program is doing everything necessary to reach the displaced people in Gaza returning to their homes. He added that the World Food Program has managed to operate 13 bakeries in the southern part of the Strip, prepare hot meals, and deliver ready-to-eat meals to families in shelters.

In a related context, a damage assessment released by the United Nations this month indicated that removing over 50 million tons of rubble left by the Israeli genocide could take 21 years at a cost of up to $1.2 billion, and rebuilding destroyed homes in Gaza may take at least until 2040.

A UN Development Program official recently noted that the war has erased 69 years of development results in Gaza.

IOFs continue aggression in Jineen and Toulkarm

Thursday 30-January-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) continued on Thursday to bulldoze more private and public property in Jineen City and its refugee camp as part of its large-scale military operation, which entered day 10.

Palestinian social media pages documented widespread destruction in Jenin camp as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression, while medical sources reported that the IOFs persists in obstructing the work of ambulance crews in Jineen .

The Israeli aggression against Jineen and its refugee camp, since January 21, has also resulted in the martyrdom of 17 citizens and the injury and arrest of dozens.

Meanwhile, local sources reported that explosions rocked Tulkarem refugee camp after the IOFs detonated at dawn Thursday a number of homes and stores, including a gas cylinder store.

The sources added that the IOFs prevented Palestinian fire trucks from entering Tulkarem camp to extinguish the fires in the targeted buildings, which hindered efforts to rescue families living in nearby homes.

Toulkarm governor 'Abdullah Kameel made an urgent appeal to the international community to curb Israel from continuing its devastating attacks in Tulkarem camp.

Kameel said that several homes sustained damage when the IOFs detonated a gas cylinder store in Tulkarem camp, affirming that the Israeli army commits ongoing crimes in Tulkarem.

The Israeli aggressive campaign in Toulkarm refugee camp has entered its fourth day, amid daily raids on homes and arrests and ongoing destruction of infrastructure and private property.

Many families in Jineen and Toulkarm had to leave their homes as a result of the ferocity of Israeli violations.

In a related context, Palestinian health officials have accused Israeli occupation forces of frequently denying emergency medical care to wounded Palestinians across the occupied territories, especially in Jenin and Toulkarmm.

In many cases, ambulance workers were also targeted with gunfire while attempting to reach wounded people, according to the health officials.

Israeli occupation forces raid homes of prisoners’ families in exchange deal, injuring 12 citizens

Thursday 30-January-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

Twelve Palestinian citizens were injured by live ammunition and tear gas as the Israeli occupation army attacked citizens in the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah. Meanwhile, the occupation forces raided the homes of families of prisoners who are scheduled to be released Thursday as part of the exchange deal.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews dealt with 12 injuries near the Ofer military prison located on Baitounia’s lands, including 2 from live ammunition, 2 from rubber-coated metal bullets, and 8 from tear gas inhalation.

Dozens of citizens gathered around the prison, waiting for the release of the third batch of detainees from Israeli jails as part of the ceasefire agreement.

In the meantime, Israeli occupation forces raided the homes of Palestinian prisoners’ families from the West Bank, who are set to be released as part of the exchange deal and the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, warning families against holding any celebratory events.

In the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, occupation forces stormed the home of the young man Mustafa Abu Raida and threatened his family against celebrating his release, according to local sources.

They also raided the home of prisoner 'Husain Nassar in the village of Madama, south of Nablus. Nassar is serving a life sentence and has spent 21 years in prison, and he is scheduled to be released under the deal. Family members of prisoner Hussein reported that occupation forces warned his relatives against celebrating and removed some flags and banners. They also fired tear gas and sound bombs during their raid on the town of Qusra, with no injuries reported.

On another note, local sources confirmed that Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Koaber, northwest of Ramallah, and stormed the home of the young prisoner Zain al-Din Issam al-Zeir, who is expected to be released today, warning his family against holding any celebrations.

Local sources also confirmed that clashes erupted in the town of Yatma, south of Nablus, following the incursion of occupation forces, coinciding with the release of prisoner Munthir Sunbor from Israeli prisons, who is among those being released in the exchange deal. Additionally, occupation forces raided the home of the oldest serving prisoner from Nablus prisoners, Qutaiba Muslim, in the town of Talfit, south of Nablus, to prevent celebrations of his release.

Sources confirmed that occupation forces raided the home of prisoner Ashraf Noafal in the town of Dair Sharaf, northwest of Nablus, who is supposed to be released under the deal.

In Jerusalem, occupation forces summoned the families of Jerusalem prisoners due to be released today in the exchange deal at the Maskoubiya detention center. Amjad Abu 'Asab, head of the Jerusalem Prisoners’ Families Committee, said that “this measure had previously been applied to the families of Jerusalem prisoners released in the first batch, where the occupation authorities issued warnings and threats to families that holding or organizing any celebratory events for the release of their sons would subject them to legal accountability.”

Occupation forces also raided the home of prisoner Mu-ab Abu Khudhair from the town of Shufat, north of the West Bank, late at night, threatening his father should any celebration occur, and informing him that the reception of Mu’ab would be limited only to his parents and siblings, with occupation forces present to ensure compliance with this warning.

Palestinian resistance released a female soldier prisoner in Jabalya, northern Gaza Strip, along with two other Israelis and five Thais in Khan Yunis, at noon Thursday in front of the house of the martyr leader of 'Hamas, Ya'hya Sinwar, who was killed in a confrontation with occupation forces.

For its part, Israel is expected to release 110 Palestinian prisoners according to the list received by Hamas.

Hundreds of Palestinians displaced, as Israeli occupation forces intensify offensive on the Toulkarm refugee camp

TULKARM, January 30, 2025 (WAFA) –

Hundreds of residents have been forcibly displaced from the Toulkarm refugee camp as Israeli occupation forces continue their military offensive, pushing deeper into the area with additional reinforcements of heavy machinery and bulldozers.

The ongoing assault has left infrastructure in ruins and forced families, including the elderly, women, and children, to flee their homes under dire humanitarian conditions.

According to local reports, Israeli forces have occupied high-rise buildings in and around the camp, stationing snipers on rooftops after expelling residents. The military has also carried out house demolitions, blocked entrances with earth mounds, and trapped civilians inside their homes amid widespread gunfire and explosions.

Residents, particularly from neighborhoods such as Al-'Ukasha, Al-Ghanim, Al-Nadi, and Al-Matar, have been ordered to leave. Many have sought refuge in surrounding areas, including Iktaba, Al-Rasheed in Dthanaba, Al-'Izba, and Shuwaika.

The displacement has exacerbated already severe humanitarian needs, with shortages of food, drinking water, and medical supplies, especially for children and the elderly.

Faysal Salama, head of the Popular Committee for Toulkarm refugee Camp Services, described the situation as catastrophic. “Thousands of people have been forcibly removed from their homes and are now scattered across the city,” he said, adding that Israeli forces continue to destroy infrastructure and civilian property.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society is assisting displaced residents, transporting elderly individuals, women, and children to temporary shelters, including Al-Rawdhah Mosque in western Toulkarm.

However, Red Crescent official Manal Al-'Hafi warned of mounting challenges. “We receive countless distress calls from trapped residents, particularly those in need of medical evacuation,” she said. “The destruction of roads and Israeli restrictions make it nearly impossible for our teams to reach all affected areas.”

Illegal Israeli settlers attack agricultural property, cars in the West Bank

Thursday 30-January-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A horde of the illegal Israeli extremist settlers rampaged through swaths of agricultural land belonging to a Palestinian citizen in Salfeet, while others attacked Palestinian vehicles in Tulkarem on Thursday morning.

According to local sources, dozens of settlers escorted by soldiers wreaked havoc on cultivated lands and destroyed olive trees in Takweera area, which is located between the towns of Burqeen and Kafr Al-Deek in western Salfeet.

The agricultural area belongs to a Palestinian citizen from Salfeet called Abdullah Ahmed.

Another group of settlers attacked cars and assaulted passengers traveling on a road near the illegal settlement of Shilo in northern Ramallah.

Local sources reported that a number of settlers, who gathered at the junction of Shilo settlement, intercepted Palestinian cars traveling on the Ramallah-Nablus main road and attacked passengers with pepper spray.

Settler violence against Palestinians is a daily issue in the West Bank. Instead of taking action to combat their crimes, the Israeli military and security authorities aid and abet settlers in harming Palestinians, destroying their property and seizing their lands.

Settlers carry out a variety of crimes against Palestinians under military protection, including physical assaults, stone throwing, threats and harassment, damaging of trees and crops, vandalism of cars and property, blocking of roads and even firing of live ammunition.

Egypt declares rejection of Palestinian displacement, 'Hamas appreciates the stance

Thursday 30-January-2025

CAIRO, (PIC)

Egyptian President Abdul Fatta'h El-Sisi strongly rejected on Wednesday the displacement of the Palestinian people, describing it as an injustice that Egypt cannot participate in. This statement comes in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s call for Egypt and Jordan to accept Palestinians from Gaza.

El-Sisi added that the rumors surrounding the displacement of Palestinians can never be tolerated or allowed due to their impact on Egyptian national security.

A statement from the Egyptian presidency quoted El-Sisi as saying, “Egypt is determined to work with U.S. President Donald Trump to achieve the desired peace based on a two-state solution.”

For his part, 'Hazim Qasim, the spokesperson for Hamas, praised President Abdul Fatta'h El-Sisi’s position in rejecting any ideas or steps to “displace our people in the Gaza Strip or transfer them anywhere under any pretext.”

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdul 'Aaty confirmed on Wednesday his country’s support for the rights of the Palestinian people, rejecting displacement or transfer outside their lands.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Tamir Khalaf stated in a press release that the minister’s remarks came during his meeting with a Palestinian delegation headed by Hussein al-Sheikh, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The minister emphasized Egypt’s efforts to implement all provisions of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza in its three phases, reiterating the continuation of communications aimed at solidifying the agreement and ensuring compliance with its terms.

Abdul 'Aaty stressed the unity of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, also emphasizing Egypt’s support for the Palestinian government and its reform plans, as well as the importance of empowering the Palestinian Authority politically and economically.

On Tuesday, the Egyptian media denied the occurrence of a phone call between El-Sisi and Trump amid American efforts to displace Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt and Jordan.

No official announcement has been made by Washington or Cairo regarding a conversation between the two presidents, but Israeli journalist Barak Ravid—reporter for the American site Axios and the Israeli site Walla—attributed to Trump the statement that he spoke with El-Sisi on this matter.

According to the Israeli journalist, Trump told reporters aboard his presidential plane during his flight from Miami to Washington early Tuesday that he wants “the people of Gaza to live in a place free of violence. Gaza has been hell for many years, and they can live in much better and more comfortable areas.”

Despite the announcements from Egypt and Jordan rejecting the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, Trump emphasized—according to Ravid—that Egyptian President Abdul Fatta'h El-Sisi is his friend, saying, “I have helped him a lot, and I hope he will help us. I believe he will, and King Abdullah of Jordan will do so as well.”

This comes in light of statements made by Trump a few days ago aboard the presidential plane when he spoke about his desire to “cleanse” the Gaza Strip, stating that he would ask Egyptian President El-Sisi for what he requested from King Abdullah II of Jordan: to allow up to 1.5 million Palestinians from Gaza to enter Egyptian territory.

Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly calls for ending humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip

Thursday 30-January-2025

STRASBOURG, (PIC)

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) approved a motion on Wednesday calling for an immediate end to the humanitarian crisis affecting Palestinian children and women, in particular, in the Gaza Strip.

This came in the winter plenary session of the PACE taking place in the French City of Strasbourg from 27 to 31 January.

The motion was adopted with 90 votes in favor, 18 against, and 14 abstentions.

“The military campaign launched by Israel in Gaza in response to the attack on 7 October continued for fifteen months, causing an unimaginable humanitarian crisis,” the Assembly said, adding that “women and children are without any shadow of doubt the main innocent victims of the conflict.”

The Assembly called on the Council of Europe member states and the parties to the conflict to play an active role in addressing the humanitarian emergency in Gaza and its future consequences.

“The Assembly cannot accept that this humanitarian crisis could be portrayed or seen as inevitable or be allowed to become the new normal,” the Assembly said in its resolution.

The Assembly also urged the immediate and unconditional repeal of the ban on UNRWA imposed by Israel, as well as full, rapid and safe access to Gaza for humanitarian organizations and local and foreign journalists.

PACE welcomed the conclusion of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, describing the implementation of its first phase as “a crucial and positive step forward,” and called on all parties to implement all three phases, leading to a long-lasting peace.

UN urges Israel to revoke decision ending UNRWA operations

NEW YORK, January 30, 2025 (WAFA) –

The United Nations has called on Israel to reverse its decision to terminate the operations of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

The UN Office for Human Rights issued a statement on the social media platform X, addressing the enforcement of Israel’s ban on UNRWA activities.

The statement emphasized the severe impact the decision would have on essential services, including food distribution, healthcare, and education in the occupied Palestinian territories. It also warned of serious human rights consequences for tens of thousands of Palestinians.

The UN office urged the Israeli government to repeal the law passed by the Knesset, which restricts the agency’s fundamental operations.

As a result of the ban, the Israeli government has effectively ended UNRWA’s operations in Israel and occupied East Jerusalem. International staff members of the agency have left East Jerusalem as their Israeli permits expired, while local employees did not report to UNRWA offices.

The decision has sparked international criticism, with humanitarian organizations warning of the negative repercussions on Palestinian refugees who rely on the agency’s services.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
