Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By March 9, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 62,107+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (48,458), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,649+). 

By March 9, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 111,897.

By March 9, 2025, 928 Palestinians who were killed, 6,889 who were injured, and 11,377*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children.

Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip:

On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of five martyrs, who were killed in fresh Israeli attacks.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, in Gaza, on Sunday, 37 citizens were also injured during Israeli attacks or by unexploded ordnance during the past hours.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, to 48,458 martyrs, the Health Ministry stated.

The Ministry added that the number of the wounded also surged to 111,897 people.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian martyred, two others injured by IOFs gunfire in Gaza

A Palestinian citizen was martyred and two others were injured on Sunday morning when the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) opened fire at them in the east of Gaza City.

According to local sources, Israeli forces opened fire at citizens after they went to Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood in the east of Gaza City to check on their homes, killing one of them and injuring two others.

Five citizens were martyred and others were injured last Thursday and Friday in the same neighborhood following drone attacks.

Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on January 19, the Israeli occupation army have killed and injured dozens of civilians in the Gaza Strip.

US President Donald Trump’s envoy Adam Boehler said on Sunday that US meetings with Hamas on the release of Israeli captives held in Gaza were very helpful.

Boehler said he believed something could be achieved on the Gaza hostages within weeks, but did not elaborate.

the US official did not rule out additional encounters with the Palestinian Resistance Movement.

“We’re the United States. We’re not an agent of Israel,” Boehler said.

Along the same line, two US officials revealed that the White House envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to travel to Doha on Tuesday evening in an effort to broker a new prisoner exchange and ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.

Axios website explained that the talks would be the first since Trump took office and since the original agreement between Israel and Hamas that established a 42-day ceasefire in Gaza in exchange for the release of 33 captives in its first phase, which ended one week ago.

Witkoff is expected to join Qatari and Egyptian mediators and negotiators from Israel and Hamas who will begin talks on Monday, the source added.

The renewed diplomatic push follows mounting frustration after Israel refused to move forward with the second phase of the agreed ceasefire deal — a key condition of the initial truce. The second phase includes negotiations on a permanent ceasefire, as well as lifting Israel’s blockade on Gaza to allow aid deliveries to resume.

Despite international calls to honor the ceasefire conditions, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly refused to engage in negotiations over this next phase. Aid agencies and humanitarian groups have condemned Israel’s actions, warning that the reimposed blockade is worsening Gaza’s humanitarian crisis.

'Hamas says Gaza’s electricity cut off in effect since start of war in October 2023

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation forces have already cut off electricity to the Gaza Strip since the war began in October 2023.

'Hamas spokesman 'Hazim Qasim made the remarks in a statement in response to Israel’s earlier decision today to immediately halt the supply of electricity to Gaza.

“This behavior confirms the Israeli occupation’s insistence to continue its genocide war against Gaza, through its starvation policy, in clear disregard for all international laws and norms.”

Qasim called for “implementing the Arab summit’s recommendations to lift Gaza’s siege and the starvation campaign.”

Earlier Sunday, Israel ordered all of Gaza’s electricity supply to be cut off even though electricity supplies to the Strip have been effectively halted since the start of the war in October 2023.

Israeli energy minister Eli Cohen’s announcement came a week after Israel cut off all aid supplies to the territory, which has a population of more than two million people.

Israel’s 15-month-long war on the Gaza Strip has caused widespread destruction to infrastructure, severely affecting basic services in the coastal enclave.

Generators and solar panels are being used to supplement the power supply. However, according to the UN, Gaza has faced a “chronic electricity deficit” for more than a decade.

In 2022, Palestinians in Gaza received an average of just 12 hours of electricity per day, according to the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

The electricity crisis has significantly affected essential services, particularly the enclave’s water supply.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime announces complete power cut to the Gaza Strip

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime announced on Sunday evening the complete cessation of electricity supply to the Gaza Strip.

This decision follows an order from Israeli Energy Minister, Eli Cohen, who, by virtue of his authority, instructed the suspension of electricity sales to Gaza, leading to an immediate halt in the flow of electricity to the region.

The move coincides with recent Israeli reports indicating that the occupation plans to escalate measures, including interrupting both electricity and water supplies, executing airstrikes, and potentially reoccupying parts of Gaza as part of a broader military offensive and large-scale war.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime so-called parliament (Knesset) bill seeks to annul the Oslo Accords, along with other related agreements

Extremist Itamar Ben-Gvir, the former Israeli 'security' minister and his far-right Otzma Yehudit party has introduced a bill, to the Israeli occupation apartheid regime so-called parliament (Knesset), that seeks to annul the Oslo Accords, the Hebron Protocol, and the Wye River Memorandum, which are important agreements between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

Ben-Gvir announced the proposal in a statement on Sunday, saying the bill seeks to restore the situation to what it was before these agreements were signed, including the reclamation of lands that were transferred under these agreements.

The bill’s text stipulates that the laws established to enforce these agreements would be repealed, and it would grant the Israeli Prime Minister the authority to issue regulations for implementing the proposed law, including taking actions to nullify the outcomes of the aforementioned agreements.

‎Local sources told Wafa that a force of the occupation army stormed the village and‎‎stopped a vehicle and beat its owner, which led to fractures and bruises, after which he was transferred to the hospital, and also ‎‎raided a garage for repairing vehicles and searched it, without reporting arrests.‎

‎Two Palestinians injured by the Israeli occupation forces gunfire west of  Al-Khaleel (Hebron)‎

Two Palestinian young men from the town of Idhna, west of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), were injured on Sunday evening by the Israeli occupation forces' bullets.‎

‎Mu'ammar Tameezi, director of the Palestinian Red Crescent in the town of Idna, said that the Israeli occupation forces handed over two young men to the Red Crescent after hitting them with live ammunition near the separation wall and the racist expansion in the west of the town.‎

‎For his part, the medical supervisor at Al-Ahli Hospital, said that the young man Saddam Mu'hammed Badawi Tameezi arrived at the hospital with a bullet in the abdomen, and was admitted to the operating room, describing his condition as stable, while the young man Mohammed Akram Al-Masri (32 years old) was transferred to Al-Mizan Hospital due to several bullets in his feet.‎

Several Palestinians suffocate from tear gas during Israeli raid south of Nablus

Several Palestinian residents suffocated from tear gas on Sunday evening during an Israeli military raid on the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, according to local sources

Sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the said town from the northern side while firing a heavy barrage of tear gas canisters and sound bombs, leading to the suffocation of several citizens.

The town is subjected to daily, repeated raids by Israeli forces, during which live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and sound bombs are continuously fired.

Israeli occupation forces intensify military measures at Bait Bait Foureek and Al-Muraba'ah checkpoints near Nablus

NABLUS, March 9, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces intensified on Sunday evening their military measures at the Bait Foureek checkpoint east of Nablus and the Al-Muraba'ah checkpoint to the south, which also witnessed the presence of extremist colonists, according to local sources.

Sources reported that Israeli forces heightened their measures at the aforementioned checkpoints, conducting searches and identity checks on citizens. This led to a severe traffic jam, forcing citizens observing the holy month of Ramadan to break their fast at the checkpoint.

The city of Nablus continues to face the closure of several surrounding checkpoints, with Israeli forces continuing to prevent citizens from passing through the completely blocked main 'Huwara road since October 7, 2023.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police silence the call to prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s Marwani Hall of prayer building

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police silenced Al-Adthan (the call to prayer) at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound’s Marwani Hall of prayer building on Sunday.

Local sources said that police officers cut off wires of the Marwani prayer hall’s loudspeakers, suppressing the Adthan.

Other Palestinian news reports said that the Israeli police confiscated two loudspeakers from the prayer hall.

They added that the call to prayer was only recited inside the Mosque’s other prayer buildings.

Meanwhile, at least 168 of the illegal Israeli settlers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque through its Al-Maghariba Gate in the morning and defiled its courtyards under police protection on the ninth day of the holy month of Ramadan.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the illegal Israeli settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police also imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

‎Illegal Israeli settlers besiege Palestinian Muslim worshippers in Khirbet Tana, east of Nablus‎

On Sunday evening, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers surrounded citizens while they were performing evening and Tarawee'h prayers in the Khirbet Tana mosque of Bait Foureek lands, east of Nablus‎‎.‎

‎Tha-ir 'Hanani, coordinator of the Committee for the Defense of Khirbet, reported that a group of settlers stormed the village and surrounded the mosque while dozens of citizens were praying for a while, but no injuries were reported.‎

‎It is noteworthy that Khirbet Tana is constantly subjected to attacks by settlers, and the residents have been forcibly displaced more than once, in an attempt to seize the area.‎

IOFs blow up a house in Jineen, sends military reinforcements

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out new demolition operations in Jineen and its refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank for the 48th day.

The IOFs armored vehicles stormed Bruqeen town, southwest of Jineen, after deciding to expand its military operation in the northern West Bank.

Palestinian activists affirmed that more military reinforcements were sent to the Jineen refugee camp, including Merkava tanks, armored personnel carriers, and bulldozers.

Massive destruction was left in Jineen refugee camp, especially in Al-Samran neighborhood, in addition to the ongoing burning and destruction of local homes.

The media committee of Jineen refugee camp reported that the occupation army blew up a house in Al-Dhaba' Al-Ghabz area.

Media sources affirmed that the Israeli army has completely destroyed about 480 homes since the beginning of its aggression on Jineen refugee camp.

Several homes were also turned into military barracks, while about 18,000 residents were forced to flee the camp amid worsening humanitarian conditions, the sources added.

The sources pointed out that a number of families are still in Jineen refugee camp suffering from a severe shortage of food and basic needs for children.

The Israeli forces have been in Jenin for more than 40 days now and destroyed three refugee camps in Jineen and Toulkarm.

There is now more focus on Nablus. The Israeli occupation army has been moving from the northern tip of the West Bank to the south.

UN Rapporteur: The mass deportation of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip is a fantasy and illusions

The UN special rapporteur on the right to adequate housing said that the idea of mass deportation of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip is “just a fantasy,” warning that such an action would be “one of the greatest violations of international law in recent centuries.”

This was said in an interview by Balakrishnan Rajagopal with Anadolu Agency, on the sidelines of his participation in the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland, which began on February 24 and will continue until April 4.

Speaking about the US plan to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, the UN rapporteur remarked that this idea remains “just a fantasy,” and asserted, “This will never happen, and if it does, it will be one of the greatest violations of international law in recent centuries.” He described the plan as “illusions,” adding, “These illusions have been rejected by all countries that seek to respect the minimum laws and international regulations.”

Rajagopal noted that this scenario would exacerbate the suffering of Palestinians, who have already endured decades of Israeli occupation, beginning with the Nakba in 1948, through ongoing apartheid policies, and culminating in the genocide in Gaza.

He emphasized that the mass deportation of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip “cannot be imposed even by the strongest countries in the world.”

Since January 25, 2025, US President Donald Trump has been promoting a plan to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan, which both countries have rejected. Other Arab countries, as well as regional and international organizations, have joined this rejection.

In response to the Arab plan for the reconstruction of Gaza without displacing Palestinians, the UN rapporteur welcomed the adoption of the emergency Arab summit statement regarding Palestine in Cairo, which included a plan in its final statement last Tuesday.

Rajagopal stressed the importance of ensuring full Palestinian participation in all reconstruction plans. The summit endorsed a five-year reconstruction plan for the Gaza Strip without displacing Palestinians, with an estimated cost of $53 billion. However, both Israel and the United States announced their rejection of the plan, insisting on Trump’s proposal.

Rajagopal said, “Palestinians must be responsible for rebuilding their lives themselves, as this is an essential part of their right to self-determination, and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip cannot be executed solely by external parties, even if they have good intentions.”

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
