While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Warnings about catastrophic conditions of detained minors in Megiddo

Tuesday 25-March-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The head of the Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission, Raed Abu al-Hummus, warned on Tuesday morning of the catastrophic health and living conditions of Palestinian detained minors in Megiddo prison, which have become a real threat to their lives.

Abu al-Hummus said, “the information available to us about the situation of minors in the Israeli prison raises concern and anxiety, in light of the organized terrorism by Israeli prison service, which exploits the young age of these minors and their weak physical structure and practices torture and intimidation as a constant routine pursued against them.”

He revealed that the vast majority of underage prisoners suffer from the Scabies in addition to another virus that has recently spread among them, causing them diarrhea, abdominal and stomach pains, and headache.

Abu al-Hummus pointed out that this bitter reality for underage prisoners is the result of exposing them to retaliatory policies, which have been used against all male and female prisoners since the start of the genocidal war against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023.

He added that these fatal diseases that spread among prisoners, especially children, are caused by lack of hygiene and sterilization, denial of medicines and treatment, severe food shortages, and serving them food with poor quality.

Abu Al-'Hummus called on local, regional and international human rights and humanitarian institutions, especially children’s rights groups and the World Health Organization, to take immediate action “to save the minors in Megiddo prison, and not to abandon their responsibilities and ethics towards this sensitive issue, especially since we are living in the most difficult stage in the history of the prisoner movement.”

In a similar context, the Commission said that the living and health conditions in Ofer detention center are still difficult and complicated, due to the retaliatory Israeli policies imposed on the prisoners.

It explained, citing its lawyers on Monday, that the occupation exploited the holy month of Ramadan to impose “a bad and bitter reality in prisons, by preventing Palestinian prisoners from performing their religious prayers and worship, in light of the policy of deliberate starvation and isolation from the outside world. Furthermore, Israeli jailers manipulate the clock and times of the call to prayers to mislead the fasting prisoners.”

Prisoner Abdullah Jaradat, 22, from the town of Sa’ir in Al-Khaleel (Hebron), in the southern West Bank, told the Commission’s lawyer that detention conditions in Ofer are tragic, noting that there is no improvement in the conditions of the prisoners.

He added that on the third day of Ramadan, the prisoners were subjected to a raid by the prison administration’s repression units, noting that the prisoners in Section 21 were moved to Section 25, while detainees in Section 25 were transferred to Section 21. The raid was accompanied by assaulting and beating the prisoners, he added.

The Commission said the detention conditions of the prisoners in Gilboa prison were as bad and tragic as in Ofer, as Scabies is widely spread among them in light of deliberate medical negligence by the prison administration, despite the presence of difficult and incurable cases.

According to the Commission’s lawyer, the food provided to the prisoners is poor in quality and quantity, despite fasting in Ramadan, adding that the duration of the allowed free time is only one hour.

The latest statistics indicate that there are more than 10,000 Palestinian prisoners in 23 Israeli prisons and detention centers, including about 3,369 administrative detainees, and at least 365 children and minors distributed in Ofer, Megiddo and Damon prisons.

Palestinian Ministry of Finance: Israeli occupation blocks transfer of NIS 7 billion in Palestinian clearance revenues

RAMALLAH, March 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Ministry of Finance has confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities have blocked the transfer of approximately NIS 7 billion in Palestinian clearance revenues since 2019, deepening the financial crisis facing the Palestinian Government.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the Ministry said that the occupation authorities justify blocking the transfer of these funds to the Palestinian Government under several false pretexts, including allocations for Gaza – NIS 2 billion have been withheld under this allegation, allocations for the families of Palestinian martyrs and detainees – NIS 3.7 billion has been deducted under this pretext, and border exit tax – NIS 1.2 billion has been deducted as departure tax paid by travelers at the border crossing with Jordan.

Highlighting the escalation of deductions and delays in transfer since the genocidal war on Gaza, the Ministry said that since the start of Israel’s war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, the Israeli occupation has intensified financial restrictions against the Palestinian Government, including by doubling clearance revenue deductions to 50% of the total monthly amount while deliberately delaying payments in an unprecedented manner.

Clearance revenues, which should be transferred to the Palestinian Government at the beginning of each month (first week), are now withheld beyond the middle of the month, exacerbating the Government’s fiscal crisis.

Additionally, the Ministry asserted that the Israeli occupation authorities are planning further major deductions from the illegally withheld Palestinian tax revenues to compensate families of Israeli casualties, falsely holding Palestinian institutions responsible. The exact amount being confiscated under this scheme remains unknown.

The Ministry of Finance warned that these delays and deductions directly impact the Palestinian Government’s ability to pay public sector salaries and meet other financial obligations, worsening the economic crisis, increasing financial pressures on the Government, and intensifying hardship for Palestinian citizens.

It added that Israeli occupation authorities continue to deduct and withhold substantial sums from Palestinian clearance revenues each month, including NIS 275 million, an amount equivalent to what the Palestinian Government allocates to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and NIS 52.6 million, an amount deducted under the pretext that it is the amount allocated to the families of Palestinian martyrs and prisoners.

The total amount of illegal deductions from Palestinian clearance revenues by the Israeli occupation authorities since 2012 has reached NIS 20.6 billion, broken down as follows: NIS 12.5 billion – payments for electricity, NIS 4 billion – payments for water, NIS 1.3 billion – payments for sanitation services, and NIS 3 billion – payments for medical services.

In light of these concerning and alarming figures, the Ministry of Finance stressed that these actions by the Israeli occupation are flagrant violations of all signed agreements. Such violations also directly impact the Palestinian economy and the livelihood of the Palestinian people, as part of a wider and all-out war against them, their very existence, and their national institutions.

It reiterated that the Palestinian Government, in close collaboration with international partners and actors, continues to press for the immediate release of illegally withheld clearance revenues and an end to Israel’s unlawful policies.

The Ministry stated that it had adopted a policy of rationalization in preparing the 2025 budget, which came as a continuation of the Government of Palestine's reform efforts. Over the past year, more than 50 reform measures have been carried out as part of the Palestinian Government’s financial and administrative reform agenda since day one in office.

Despite Israel’s intensified war and financial warfare, the Palestinian Government remains committed to safeguarding national institutions and strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.

PGMO denies reports on evacuation of foreign medical delegations from Gaza

Tuesday 25-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in the Gaza Strip denied on Monday reports circulating that Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) had instructed foreign medical delegations to leave the Gaza Strip.

“Some activists and amateurs are circulating rumors and allegations that the occupation has instructed all foreign medical delegations to leave the Gaza Strip immediately,” the PGMO said in a statement.

It said, “after direct communication with international medical and non-medical institutions, we categorically confirm that this information is not true and falls within rumors.”

The PGMO called on everyone, especially activists and media professionals, “to be accurate and responsible in reporting news and information, and to verify their sources before circulating and publishing them, to avoid spreading rumors that may serve the agendas of the occupation and confuse the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.”

Meanwhile, the director of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said on Monday that the raid that targeted the Nasir Medical Complex in the Gaza Strip “resulted in deaths and injuries and severe damage to the surgical department.”

“The Nasser complex is the largest hospital in the southern Gaza Strip and the strike destroyed 35 patient beds,” Ghebreyesus explained.

He reiterated that “healthcare systems are not targets and must be protected and cannot be militarized.”

On Sunday evening, Israeli warplanes targeted the emergency building at the Nasir Medical Complex in Khan Younus, southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation resumed its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip at dawn Tuesday, March 18, in violation of the fragile ceasefire agreement brokered by Qatar, Egypt and the United States in January.

The bodies of hundreds of children and women who were targeted by Israeli airstrikes as they were sleeping in their homes or displacement tents filled the yards of hospitals that lack even the most basic means of providing treatment.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, with US and European support, leaving more than 162,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.

Gaza death toll from Israel's deadly aggression surpasses 50,144

GAZA, March 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces committed numerous massacres against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 62 Palestinians and the injury of 296 others, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The Ministry confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023 has risen to 50,144 documented fatalities, with an additional 113,704 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Since March 18, 2025, the occupation forces resumed their war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of approximately 792 citizens and the injury of more than 1,663 others by Thursday evening, 70% of whom are children, women, and the elderly.

According to the Ministry, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews.

The Israeli genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

358 Palestinian casualties in Gaza over the past 24 hours

Tuesday 25-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that its hospitals received 62 martyrs and 296 wounded citizens over the past 24 hours.

The Ministry added in its daily statement that two of the martyrs were recovered from under the rubble of destroyed buildings.

It pointed out that the casualties of the Israeli renewed genocidal air strikes and shelling since March 18 had thus reached 792 martyrs and 1,663 injured.

The overall number of casualties since Israel launched its war of genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023 had thus reached 50,144 martyrs and 113,704 wounded, it added.

The Ministry pointed out that an unspecified number of victims are still trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings or lying on roads and rescue teams cannot reach them.

Israeli court upholds 6-month detention against Dr. Abu Safiya

Tuesday 25-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Beer Al-Saba' (Be’er Sheva) Israeli District Court reviewed and upheld the detention order issued on 12 February 2025 by the Commander of the Southern Command of the Israeli army against Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, extending his arbitrary detention for another six months.

Under the Unlawful Combatants Law, such detention orders must be reviewed by an Israeli civilian court within 45 days of issuance and subsequently every six months. This apartheid law is used by Israeli authorities to incarcerate Palestinian residents of Gaza, including Dr. Abu Safiya, without charge or fair trial, circumventing basic protections under international law.

During the hearing, the Southern District Prosecutor submitted a secret file to the court, alleging that Dr. Abu Safiya poses a threat to the security of the State of Israel.

In response, Al Mezan’s legal team, representing Dr. Abu Safiya, asserted his innocence and emphasized that he was solely performing medical and administrative duties at Kamal Adwan Hospital. The defense also requested access to the classified investigation materials; however, the prosecution declined, and the court upheld the refusal.

Dr. Abu Safiya was abducted by Israeli forces on 27 December 2024 at Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza, along with several other hospital staff and civilians. He was denied access to his lawyer for 47 days following his arrest.

Al Mezan emphasized that the extension of Dr. Abu Safiya’s arbitrary detention by the Be’er Sheva District Court is a clear breach of international law, particularly the fundamental right to a fair trial. Neither the court nor the prosecution disclosed the charges or the purported secret evidence on which the case was based, effectively denying the defense any opportunity to contest the allegations—a core component of due process. This decision further underscores the complicity of Israeli civilian courts in sustaining Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territory and enforcing its apartheid regime against the Palestinian people.

Accordingly, Al Mezan strongly condemned all actions taken by Israeli forces, authorities, and the Israeli judiciary against Dr. Abu Safiya, beginning with his abduction and enforced disappearance between 27 December 2024 and 7 January 2025, followed by 47 days of incommunicado detention. During this period, he was subjected to torture, ill-treatment, solitary confinement, denial of adequate medical care, and prolonged deprivation of access to legal counsel.

Al Mezan unequivocally condemned the current arbitrary detention of Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya and hundreds of other Palestinian detainees under the Unlawful Combatants Law by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime and considers it a gross violation of international human rights and humanitarian law.

PGMO: Israel still abducts 15 paramedics in Rafa'h

Tuesday 25-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) accused the Israeli army on Tuesday of abducting 15 paramedics and civil defense personnel in the southern city of Rafa'h.

“The Israeli occupation army continues its crimes against the Palestinian people in blatant violation of international humanitarian law,” the PGMO said in a statement.

It said 15 emergency responders were abducted in Rafa'h as they were rescuing injured people in western Rafah, holding Israel and the US administration responsible for the safety of the personnel and calling the escalation “a war crime that demands immediate accountability.”

“The Israeli occupation is deliberately targeting medical and relief workers, in direct defiance of international agreements that guarantee their safety,” it said.

The PGMO also appealed to the international community, the UN, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and human rights organizations to take urgent action to secure the captives’ release.

On Sunday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that Israeli forces targeted and besieged several paramedics in Rafa'h during a rescue operation.

The Israeli occupation army launched a surprise aerial campaign on the Gaza Strip on March 18, killing nearly 800 people, injuring over 1,600 others, and shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.

More than 50,100 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and over 113,700 injured in a brutal Israeli military onslaught on Gaza since October 2023.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Army Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime escalates its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip

Tuesday 25-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) continued their renewed assault on the Gaza Strip for the eighth consecutive day, launching intense air raids and barrages of artillery across the territory, targeting civilian homes and shelters.

The attacks mark another escalation in what has been widely described as a systematic campaign of collective punishment and mass killing against Gaza’s civilian population.

According to PIC reporters, residents across Gaza endured yet another harrowing night of relentless bombardment. Reports from medical sources confirmed that at least 20 Palestinians were killed since dawn on Tuesday in fresh Israeli attacks.

In the early hours of the morning, four people were killed and others wounded in an airstrike on the Al-Khour family home in the Sabra neighborhood of southern Gaza City. Civil defense teams reported further casualties after an Israeli strike targeted a residential building near Al-Farouq Mosque in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood.

In Khan Younus, three members of the Deeb family—a father and his two children—were killed after Israeli aircraft targeted a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Mawasi area. South of the city, in Qizan Al-Najjar, brothers 'Obada and the child Waseem Ziyad Al-Najjar were killed when their family home was bombed.

One civilian was killed and others injured when an Israeli strike hit a chalet sheltering displaced persons in Al-Zawayida in central Gaza. Elsewhere, strikes targeted homes in Abu Tu'aima in eastern Khan Younus, injuring several residents.

Eight members of the Abu Al-Rous family were killed and others injured in an airstrike that hit their home in Block 7 of Al-Buraij refugee camp, also in central Gaza. In Deir Al-Balah, one woman was killed and several others wounded following an Israeli attack on a house in Al-Nakheel Street.

Shortly after midnight, five members of the Inshasi family, including a couple and their three children—Mu'hammed, An’am, and their sons Mu'hammed, Ibraheem, and A'hmed—were killed in an Israeli attack on a displacement tent in 'Hamad City, north of Khan Younus.

Meanwhile, two civilians were injured in an Israeli drone strike in the Musabbi'h area, north of Rafa'h.

Since the resumption of IOF hostilities on 18 March 2025, over 700 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,200 injured—predominantly women and children.

These attacks form part of an ongoing genocidal war launched by Israeli forces on 7 October 2023, which has so far resulted in over 163,000 Palestinian casualties, including those killed and wounded. More than 14,000 individuals remain missing, many believed to be trapped under rubble or unaccounted for due to the collapse of emergency response capabilities.

Palestinian former prisoner Mu'hammed Abu 'Hammad killed by Israeli gunfire

Tuesday 25-March-2025

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)

Palestinian former prisoner Mu'hammed 'Hasan 'Hosni Abu 'Hammad, 41, was shot and killed by Israeli forces on Tuesday evening near Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

According to local sources, Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire on Abu 'Hammad before detaining him. His death was later confirmed by the Israeli authorities.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli occupation soldiers fired on Abu 'Hammad, from Al-'Aizariya town, near the Ma’ale Adumim illegal settlement bypass road, claiming he had attempted to carry out a car ramming attack.

Al-'Aizariya has recently been the target of intensified settlement expansion, as Israeli authorities seek to impose greater control over Palestinian land. The illegal Israeli settlement of Ma’ale Adumim is actively working to alter the main entrance of Al-Eizariya, a move aimed at easing access for settlers travelling to Ma’ale Adumim and Kedar, while further isolating surrounding Palestinian communities.

The current entrance serves not only the residents of Al-'Aizariya, but also those in Abu Dees, Al-Sawa'hira Al-Sharqiya, 'Arab Al-Jahaleen, Al-Shaikh S'ad, and travellers from Al-Khalil and Bethlehem. Israeli plans to divert or restrict this access are expected to significantly worsen congestion and severely disrupt movement for thousands of Palestinians.

Israel’s continued confiscation of land and imposition of settlement infrastructure in the area constitutes a violation of international law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the transfer of an occupying power’s civilian population into occupied territory.

The towns of Al-'Aizariya, Abu Dees, Al-Sawa'hira Al--Sharqiya, 'Arab Al-Jahaleen, and Sheikh S'ad have long been enclosed by the Israeli separation barrier, with only one remaining entrance connecting them to the rest of the West Bank — situated next to the Ma’ale Adumim roundabout.

Ma’ale Adumim is one of the largest settlements in the occupied West Bank, with a population of approximately 40,000 settlers. It is built on lands of Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns. The nearby settlement of Kedar houses an additional 5,000 settlers.

The killing of Mu'hammed Abu 'Hammad adds to a concerning pattern of Israeli use of lethal force against Palestinians, particularly in areas facing active annexation and displacement. His killing underscores the urgent need for international accountability and protection for Palestinians living under occupation.

Recently freed prisoner martyred in armed clashes with IOFs in Qalqilya

Tuesday 25-March-2025

QALQILYA, (PIC)

The recently freed prisoner Baraa Miskawi was martyred during an armed clash between resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) in the city of Qalqilya, north of the West Bank, at dawn Tuesday.

According to local sources, Israeli special forces infiltrated, in civilian vehicles, the Al-Naqqar neighborhood, and encircled a commercial store where Miskawi barricaded himself.

The sources explained that Miskawi engaged in an armed clash with the IOFs before citizens heard the sounds of Energa projectiles fired by the IOF towards the besieged shop.

The sources added that another young man was wounded in the foot by Israeli gunfire and was transferred to Nazzal Governmental Hospital in the city.

The IOF also arrested a young man from Al-Naqqar neighborhood in Qalqilya, the sources added.

Martyr Miskawi was released as part of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal after serving 22 months in Israeli prisons.

Meanwhile, Ma'hmoud Mirdawi, a Hamas leader, mourned the martyr Miskawi, affirming that resistance will persevere despite sacrifices.

He added that Israel’s crimes in the West Bank are part of its war of genocide and displacement against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The Hamas leader called for escalating resistance in all West Bank areas against the Israeli occupation forces.

Israeli occupation forces open fire at vehicle near Nablus

NABLUS, March 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupying forces Tuesday evening opened fire at a Palestinian-licensed vehicle at Al-Muraba’a military checkpoint, southwest of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that the Israeli occupation soldiers manning the permanently-staffed checkpoint, on the road leading from the villages of Tell and ‘Iraq Bureen to Route 60, opened live gunfire at a passenger bus, smashing its windows, but without resulting in any casualties.

The soldiers tightened the movement restrictions on the checkpoint, inspecting Palestinian-licensed vehicles and compelling hundreds of Palestinians to break their fast at the checkpoint while waiting in long queues.

The occupation forces have been tightening military measures across the occupied West Bank since hours after the release of the first batch of Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire went into effect last January, dismembering and isolating cities and governorates one from the other using military gates, barriers, and concrete blocks.

They have severely restricted Palestinians’ freedom of movement within the occupied West Bank through a complex combination of approximately 898 fixed and flying checkpoints and gates, including 18 gates that have been installed since the start of 2025 and 146 others installed in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, settler-only roads, over 200 military bases, and various other physical obstructions.

The Israeli military measures are in parallel with ongoing attacks by Israeli colonists across the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians and displace them from their lands to seize them and build illegal Israeli settlements that separate Palestinian communities.

Closures besides other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 58-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.

Israeli occupation forces open gunfire at car, injure three in northern West Bank village

JENIN, March 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces Tuesday evening opened gunfire at a Palestinian-registered car and injured three Palestinians in Deir Ghazaleh village, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The PRCS said that its crews transferred two villagers, one who sustained a gunshot injury in the thigh and another who sustained a gunshot injury in the lower back, to a hospital, while noting that another was injured after being beaten up by the occupation soldiers.

Local sources said that Israeli special forces sneaked their way into the village, shot at a young man while the latter was in a car, and prevented medics from approaching the scene.

There was no immediate information on the condition of the young man nor on his identity.

This came as further military reinforcements were deployed in the village.

The sources confirmed that the soldiers rounded up a man along with his wife and son after besieging their house in the village.

The Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap 4 Palestinians from West Bank

Jineen, March 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Tuesday evening detained two Palestinians from the occupied West Bank governorates of Jenin and Jericho, according to local sources.

They said that the occupying forces rounded up a young man from the village of Jalboun, east of Jineen, noting that the village has become the target of frequent raids that see the soldiers breaking into civilians’ houses and turning them into military barracks.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces barged their way into the 'Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, south of Aree'ha (Jericho), and detained a General Intelligence officer.

Earlier this evening, the Israeli occupation soldiers rounded up three Palestinians, a father along with his wife and son, from Deir Ghazaleh village, northeast of Jenin.

During the period from Monday evening to Tuesday morning, the occupation forces conducted multiple raids across the occupied West Bank, resulting in the detention of at least 25 Palestinians.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

According to the latest figures from Al-Dhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 9,500 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 350 child prisoners and 21 female prisoners.

This number includes approximately 3,405 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Al-Dhameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one.

Woman among many kidnapped in IOFs Jineen raid

Tuesday 25-March-2025

Jineen, (PIC)

Three Palestinians were injured, and several others were arrested, including a woman, during an Israeli raid into Dair Ghazala town, east of Jineen, on Tuesday night.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, three individuals sustained live ammunition injuries. A special unit of the Israeli army infiltrated the village, opening fire on a young man in his car, and blocking medical teams from reaching him. Additional military reinforcements were later deployed to the area.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces kidnapped Al-Shaikh Ra-id Tawalba, his wife, and their son Jihad after surrounding their home and assaulting them. Sheikh Ra-id Tawalba is the brother of the late commander Ma'hmoud Tawalba, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike during the 2002 Battle of Jenin Refugee Camp.

This incident comes as part of the ongoing Israeli military campaign in Jenin and its refugee camp, now entering its 63rd consecutive day. The campaign has involved widespread home demolitions, arson attacks, and turning civilian homes into military outposts.

Since the beginning of the offensive, the assault on Jenin has resulted in the killing of 36 Palestinians, including two reportedly shot by Palestinian Authority security forces.

Prisoner's testimony to lawyer: Amoebiasis caused the death of Palestinian teenagers in notorious Israeli prison

RAMALLAH, March 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Lawyer Firas al-Jabrini revealed on Tuesday that the 17-year-old Palestinian whose recently died in Israel's notorious Megiddo Prison had been infected with Amoebiasis, according to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center.

The Center said in a press statement that Al-Jabreeni revealed, through the testimony of a young prisoner from Megiddo Prison, who "was able to visit him," that Walid Khalid A'hmed, whose death was announced late Sunday evening, had been infected with Amoebiasis before his death was announced.

A'hmed, a resident of the occupied West Bank town of Silwad, had been imprisoned since his September 30, 2024 arrest. He was being held in Section 4 of Megiddo Prison.

The Center added that Ahmed was suffering from severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, and dizziness.

Amoebiasis is an intestinal infection caused by amoeba parasites. It is typically transmitted through the ingestion of contaminated food or water. It affects the intestines and leads to a range of symptoms, including severe diarrhea, stomach and abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Poor hygiene and an unsanitary environment are major factors contributing to the spread of the disease, along with harsh living conditions inside prisons, such as a lack of medical care and clean drinking water.

The Center revealed that Palestinian prisoners in Megiddo Prison suffer from symptoms similar to those suffered by Ahmed due to their infection with Amoebiasis. Many also suffer from fecal incontinence, without any treatment or monitoring of their health. Skin diseases such as scabies are widespread among prisoners, and they suffer from boils in various parts of the body. Some also suffer from eczema, especially on the face, as young prisoners explained to lawyer Al-Jabreeni.

Lawyer Al-Jabreeni added, according to the testimony of one of the young prisoners, that the food provided to prisoners during Ramadan consists of "labna and cheese" in the early morning hours, which the prisoners keep in their rooms until “Iftar” in the evening. There is no refrigerator or suitable place to preserve the food from spoilage, forcing them to eat it out of hunger and lack of an alternative.

In addition to the spread of Amoebiasis disease in Megiddo Prison, the young prisoners suffer from repeated raids of their section along with dogs and constant pepper spraying.

The Center pointed out that since October 2023, Palestinian prisoners have been suffering from harsh detention conditions and harsh living conditions, as the occupation authorities have exploited "emergency laws and regulations" to escalate their attacks and abuse of Palestinian prisoners. The occupation authorities have implemented numerous repressive and abusive measures, including repeated raids, constant transfers, beatings, pepper spray, attacks by dogs, deprivation of food and drink, denial of bathing and personal hygiene items, prohibition of access to the prison yard, prohibition of group prayers, confiscation of Qurans, and a failure to provide cleaning materials for rooms and internal bathrooms.

In addition to the spread of Amoebiasis, a skin disease known as scabies has also spread among prisoners in all prisons, leading to the deaths of several. Scabies is a parasitic skin disease that causes severe itching and a painful rash. The unsanitary prison environment and the lack of adequate medical care exacerbate the spread of these diseases.

Israeli watch group report shows unprecedented surge in illegal settlement plan approvals

RAMALLAH, March 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli illegal settlement watch group Peace Now said in a new report that n a remarkable shift, the Higher Planning Council has approved more construction plans in the past three months than in all of 2024.

Between January 1 and March 19, 2025, a total of 10,503 housing units were promoted, surpassing the 9,971 units approved throughout the entirety of 2024. This Wednesday another 1,344 units are scheduled for approval.

This dramatic acceleration follows a significant change in policy. In June 2023, the Netanyahu-Smotrich government removed the direct oversight of the political echelon over settlement planning. Prior to this, every stage in the approval process required the Minister of Defense’s approval. In November 2024, after the election of President Trump, the rate of plan approvals increased markedly: the Planning Council transitioned from quarterly meetings to weekly sessions, approving hundreds of housing units at a time. This shift appears to be part of the government’s strategy to normalize settlement planning, reduce domestic and international scrutiny, and capitalize on the global focus on Gaza to rapidly advance settlement expansion. It seems that the government is seeking to “fill the planning reserves” with as many approved plans as possible, ensuring the potential for extensive future development.

“Instead of caring for the hostages and ensuring Israel’s security, the Netanyahu-Smotrich government is deepening the conflict and further sabotaging any chance for a peaceful resolution. The government is pushing forward plans on an unprecedented scale across the West Bank, that will ultimately come at a great cost to all Israelis in the form of prolonged violence and enormous financial burdens.”

A key development in the planning process occurred in October 2024, when Yehuda Alkalai, the former engineer of the Shomron Settlement Regional Council, was appointed head of the Civil Administration’s Planning Bureau. Reports indicate that Minister Bezalel Smotrich advocated for Alkalai’s appointment to help accelerate the settlement expansion process. Alkalai’s appointment has been followed by an extraordinary pace of plan approvals, sometimes within days of being presented to the Planning Council. This acceleration is partly attributed to a more lenient approach regarding the fulfillment of prerequisites before a plan is brought for discussion.

Alkalai’s rapid approval process aligns with the broader strategy of annexation pursued by the current government. Smotrich has established the Settlement Administration and bolstered it with legal advisors who replace the Civil Administration’s legal staff—who, according to Smotrich, have “a completely different DNA“—a move that appears to be facilitating actions previously unfeasible. Additionally, the inclusion of a representative from the Ministry of Settlement on the Higher Planning Council further politicizes the planning process, enabling quicker decisions in favor of settlement expansion.

A notable example of the changes can be seen in Plan No. 512/2, which aims to legalize dozens of homes built illegally decades ago in the Otniel settlement, located south of Hebron. The plan, which would add 156 housing units to the settlement, had been stalled for years because the roads to it passes on private Palestinian land. In January 2025, however, the plan was brought to the Higher Planning Council and the architect presented it said: “the plan has not been advanced to date because of land issues. Now that the problems have been resolved, it is being advanced.”

The “solution” approved by the legal advice is that the plan stipulates that bridges will be built over the private land, thus making it possible to connect the neighborhood to the settlement. It is worth noting that in addition to the fact that building a bridge also violates the property of the landowners, the settlers who live in houses that have already been built illegally in the neighborhood have been traveling daily for years on roads that were paved within private land without interference. It is hard to believe that anyone would invest the effort and money in building the bridges when they could simply continue the grabbing.

The vast majority of approved plans in recent months involve settlements deep within the West Bank, with far-reaching implications for Palestinian territorial continuity and the viability of a future Palestinian state. The construction of 10,000 new housing units is projected to accommodate an additional 40,000 to 50,000 settlers.

Key approvals include new neighborhoods in settlements such as Itamar (284 units), Yakir (464 units), Kochav Yaakov (1,016 units), Asfar (509 units), and Ma’ale Amos (561 units).

Plan 516/3/1, which was approved for deposit, plans to establish a new and large neighborhood of 292 housing units east of the Adora settlement, which will effectively double the size of the isolated settlement located northwest of Hebron. In the area of the plan, settlers recently established a new outpost (Adora East Outpost), and the plan seeks to legalize it retrospectively. The outpost was built on the ruins of the Palestinian community of Khirbet Al-Taybah, which was violently expelled by soldiers and settlers in October 2023, as described in the residents’ testimony to B’Tselem.

Khirbet Al-Taybah, Tarqoumya: The community was home to 10 families numbering 47 people in total, including six minors. Another four families, consisting of eight adults in total, lived in it depending on the season.

On 7 October 2023, settlers and soldiers arrived and notified the residents they had to leave because the site was declared a firing zone. All 10 families that lived in the community permanently left that day, but the families that lived there seasonally continued to come during the day to graze their flocks and spend the night back in Tarqoumya.

On 11 October 2023, several residents tried to go home to check on their property, but settlers blocked their way. On the morning of 17 October, the residents managed to reach their land and found 11 residential and agricultural shacks demolished and agricultural equipment stolen. Soldiers who noticed them drove them away.

On 12 November 2023, at 12:00 P.M., soldiers arrived at the community and informed the families there on a seasonal basis that they, too, must leave otherwise their homes would be demolished and they would be forcefully removed, but the families did not leave.

On 21 November, soldiers again came to the community and threatened members of these families at gunpoint. As a result, the four families left, too.  On 4 January 2024, at 4:00 P.M., residents currently living in the town of Tarqoumya saw smoke rising from their community.

They climbed a hill overlooking the area and saw settlers had destroyed and burned four agricultural structures and furniture they left behind, and spotted a settlement security vehicle on the premises.

Gaza City: Leaning on the sea, facing genocide

Tuesday 25-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

In Gaza, where lanterns of life are smothered one after another, lonely hearts wander, trying to lean on the seashores to moan about their unbearable pain.

At least 50,000 people were martyred, without giving a last farewell to their beloved ones, without leaving last words. Nothing of them remained, but their names are still stuck in the mouths of their mothers. And their countenances are saved in the memories of destruction.

At the remnants of the Al-Wi'hda Street, a woman, dressed in black, walking slowly as if stepping on a memory of glass, each step breaking her heart, she hugs a picture of her son. Her eyes try to recognize her house, looking for the traces of a life that once had been.

On the other side of the road, a slim boy stands carrying a torn doll, staring at it as if it were the last thing left out of his damaged world. His name is Yazan. Only yesterday, he was playing with his sister at his house. But now nothing is left of her but her torn, stained dress.

“Will I ever meet her again?” He asks. No answer.

At the beach, where the voices of lovers used to sing, every voice is an echo of weeping. The waves, which witnessed love stories, now doesn’t recognize anything but deep anguish.

At the camps, the elderlies sit on the floor, with their eyes gazing at the horizon, as if waiting for a return. A return to a Palestine they know, free of Nakbas.

Besides them, children who look older than they are, sit and talk. They don’t talk of toys or sweets, but of bombings and bad weather conditions, and they recite the names of the martyrs in poems they know by heart.

Amidst the damage, a tree is standing, its twigs penetrating through the cracked walls, and its leaves are still green. If the tree were to say something, it would cry: “Gaza doesn’t die despite the destruction swallowing souls and dreams. Its soil carries the martyrs and their memories to give birth of Gaza anew.”

Apache: Israel’s tool of spreading death and fear in Gaza

Tuesday 25-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

In the skies over Gaza, where hope hangs between bombardment and resilience, the “AH-64 Apache” helicopter stands as a symbol of terror and destruction.

Since the beginning of the Israeli assault on the Strip, this aircraft has become a primary tool for taking lives and destroying infrastructure, using its deadly missiles against civilians, homes, and even ambulances.

The beast of the sky: Israel’s deadly weapon

The Apache helicopter is one of the most advanced attack aircraft in Israel’s military arsenal. It is equipped with precision targeting systems and devastating Hellfire missiles, capable of striking targets with extreme accuracy. With its speed and maneuverability, the Apache is frequently used to carry out assassinations against Palestinian resistance fighters, as well as to bomb residential areas and civilian vehicles on Gaza’s narrow streets.

Executing assassinations

Ma'hmoud Al-Khateeb, a resident of Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood, recalls the terrifying moment when an Apache targeted a civilian vehicle right outside his home.

“We were sitting inside when we heard the helicopter,” he says. “We couldn’t see it, but we felt the presence of death. Suddenly, the car in front of us exploded, scattering debris everywhere. There was no warning—just a single missile that ended the lives of everyone inside in an instant.”

Journalist A'hmed Mansour, who has covered multiple Israeli assaults on Gaza, confirms that the Apache is often used to carry out assassinations in broad daylight, with no regard for civilians nearby.

“The occupation uses this aircraft as a tool of terror,” he explains. “It doesn’t just strike a specific target; it fires multiple missiles to ensure everything in the attack zone is obliterated—without distinguishing between combatants and civilians.”

Aerial killings without accountability

Since the outbreak of the Second Intifada in 2000, Israel has used Apache helicopters to carry out assassinations targeting Palestinian resistance leaders, including Sala'h Shi'hada and A'hmed Yaseen.

Today, these helicopters continue their open war against Gaza, flying freely in the skies and taking lives without facing any international accountability.

Military analyst Wasif 'Uraiqat notes that Israel relies on the Apache for so-called “surgical strikes,” but in reality, these attacks often result in civilian casualties, especially in densely populated areas.

“The Israeli army claims these attacks target armed individuals,” he tells our reporter, “but the truth is that most of the victims are innocent civilians, including women and children.”

It is not just individuals being targeted—entire families have been wiped out by Apache strikes.

Apache: A symbol of aerial terror

As the people of Gaza struggle to survive under siege and destruction, the Apache remains a constant nightmare in their skies. Its mere sound is enough to instill fear in the hearts of children and adults alike.

With no international action to stop these crimes, Gaza remains alone in the face of a war machine that makes no distinction between a fighter and a child, between a home and an ambulance.

In Gaza, where there are no shelters and no prior warnings, the sound of an Apache is an announcement of death from above.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
