While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Hamas: Netanyahu overturns the ceasefire deal, resumes the genocidal war on Gaza

Tuesday 18-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement said that Israel carried out a “treacherous” attack on besieged and defenseless civilians in order to overturn the Gaza ceasefire deal.

“Netanyahu and his Nazi government resume their aggression and genocidal war against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip,” it said in a statement issued early Tuesday.

“We hold the criminal Netanyahu and the Nazi Zionist occupation fully responsible for the repercussions of the treacherous aggression on Gaza, and on the defenseless civilians and our besieged Palestinian people, who are being subjected to a brutal war and a systematic policy of starvation.”

“Netanyahu and his extremist government are making a decision to overturn the ceasefire agreement, exposing prisoners in Gaza to an unknown fate.”

Hamas has called on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to convene urgently to adopt a resolution obligating the Israeli occupation to halt its aggression and abide by Resolution 2735, which calls for an end to the aggression and Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

The Movement also said it holds Israel “fully responsible for violating and overturning the agreement”.

It further called on the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to assume their historic responsibility in supporting the steadfastness and valiant resistance of the Palestinian people, and in breaking the unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) accused Israel of “deliberately sabotaging” the ceasefire, which had been in place since January 19.

Israel is continuing its “war of extermination” on Gaza after “deliberately sabotaging all efforts to reach a ceasefire”, PIJ said in a statement.

PIJ said the renewed attack by Netanyahu and his “bloodthirsty Nazi government” will not give Israel “superiority over the resistance, neither on the ground nor in negotiations”.

“We affirm that what Netanyahu and his barbaric army failed to achieve in 15 months of crimes and bloodshed, they will not succeed in achieving again, thanks to the steadfastness of our oppressed people and the courage of our mujahideen in the fields of… resistance.”

'Hamas rebuts Israel’s claim about preparing attack on its forces

Tuesday 18-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has categorically denied the Israeli occupation government’s claim that the Palestinian resistance was preparing for an attack on its forces, accusing it of attempting to justify the massacres it committed at dawn Tuesday (March 18, 2025), in the Gaza Strip.

“The occupation is trying to mislead the world’s public opinion and create false pretexts to justify its premeditated decision to reignite the war and commit genocide against the defenseless civilians in Gaza,” Hamas said in a statement on Tuesday.

'Hamas also accused the Israeli government of overturning the ceasefire agreement and shirking its obligations.

'Hamas also condemned the international community’s disgraceful silence on Israel’s persistence in committing massacres against the Gaza people.

“We were committed to the ceasefire agreement until the last moment and were keen to see it continue, but Netanyahu, who are seeking a way out of his internal crises, preferred to reignite the war at the expense of the Palestinian people’s blood,” Hamas affirmed.

The Movement said that the US administration’s acknowledgment that it had been informed in advance of the Israeli intent to resume the war confirmed its direct complicity in the genocide against the Palestinian people.

The Movement highlighted that the Palestinian people would never back down from their legitimate struggle against the occupation until they extracted their rights fully and liberated their land.

In a separate statement, senior 'Hamas official 'Izzat al-Resheq said that the Israeli government’s resumption of its genocide in Gaza reflects its intent to sacrifice the remaining Israeli captives, affirming that their return would be impossible without fully ending the war.

Resheq said that Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to resume the war serves as a lifeboat to save him from his internal crises, describing the decision as a “death sentence against the Israeli captives.”

The Hamas official stressed the need for the mediators to reveal the truth about Netanyahu’s decision to overturn the ceasefire agreement and hold him responsible for this escalation in Gaza.

'Hamdan: We will not accept the return to ‘square one’

Tuesday 18-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

'Hamas leader Osama 'Hamdan said that the proposal of US Presidential Envoy to the Middle East Steven Witkoff does not address a ceasefire, the opening of crossings, or ending the blockade, and is limited only to the exchange of prisoners.

“Our position is clear, which is to adhere to what has been agreed upon,” he said in press statements.

“We are ready to implement any measure that facilitates the application of the agreement, and it is unacceptable to return to square one.”

“The mediators have been unable to pressure Israel to enter the second phase of the agreement.”

“We demand allowing the entry of medical supplies and rubble removal equipment.”

The blockade on the Gaza Strip, starvation, and the closure of the crossings are not acceptable to the Palestinian people, Hamdan stressed.

Updated PGMO: 419 Palestinians killed as Israel resumes genocide in Gaza

Tuesday 18-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC, PGMO)

According to the initial reports, the Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) said that over 419 Palestinians were killed and missing and 528 were injured in a matter of five hours across the Gaza Strip as Israel resumed its genocide, breaking the ceasefire that lasted nearly two months.

In a statement, the PGMO said entire families were among the victims, who were killed together in the Israeli attacks, noting that the ambulances and civil defense teams are unable to bring all victims to hospitals.

“These brutal massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army reaffirm that this occupation only understands the language of killing, destruction and genocide,” said the Office.

The attacks come as Israel also continues to blockade the enclave for a third week, in what the PGMO said is a “war tactic to break the will of our Palestinian people”.

Nevertheless, the people of Gaza “will not be intimidated by these crimes and will continue their steadfastness and legitimate struggle until the Israeli occupation is removed from our land,” it said.

The PGMO called on the international community, including the UN, rights groups and aid organizations, to take immediate action to oppose Israel’s “crimes” and hold Israeli leaders accountable. “The world cannot continue to stand idle by,” it said.

Thus far, according to the initial reports, the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip have killed more than 48,996 Palestinians since October 2023, most of them women and children, and left Gaza in ruins. In addition, the number of the injured Palestinians has risen to 112,569, most of whom were also children and women.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November last year for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Army Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.

Gaza: 174 children massacred in Tuesday’s Israeli attacks

Tuesday 18-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army committed a horrifying massacre against Gaza children, killing at least 174 of them during violent and deadly strikes that targeted homes, tents and shelters at dawn Tuesday.

Based on field reports from human rights groups, the Israeli army launched aerial and artillery strikes on densely populated neighborhoods, resulting in massacres that wiped out entire families and left children’s bodies mangled or torn apart amidst the rubble of their bombed homes or shelters.

Since the early hours of Tuesday, the Israeli army has carried out dozens of massacres across Gaza by intensively bombing the homes of innocent civilians, according to the Government Media Office (GMO).

Bodies of over 429 martyrs have been recovered and evacuated to hospitals since the dawn hours. Among those killed are 174 children, 89 women, 32 elderlies, and 109 adult men.

However, today’s death toll is likely to rise as there are many people are in critical condition or buried under the rubble, while Gaza’s debilitated hospitals complain of lacking the capacity and means to handle the large numbers of casualties.

GMO said that 73 percent of the martyrs who had been brought to hospitals since the early hours of today were children, women and elderly people.

“There are no safe areas,” eyewitnesses told reporters in Gaza after the intense Israeli bombardment struck multiple houses, tent encampments and schools sheltering displaced families, including mothers and their children.

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said that in many cases, Israeli airstrikes wiped out entire families consisting of both parents and children or even extended family members, including grandparents and grandchildren.

Tuesday 18-March-2025

The statement explained that the martyrs were killed after they and their families were directly targeted by Israeli occupation warplanes, noting that they were martyred along with hundreds of others as a result of the renewed airstrikes since dawn hours.

The PGMO stressed that the martyrdom of the government officials “will not deter us from performing our national duty towards our Palestinian people and continuing to fulfill our religious and moral duties and accomplishing our professional role to serve our people and support their steadfastness and fortitude in the face of this barbaric aggression.”

Tuesday 18-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

An Israeli captive was killed in Gaza and two others were wounded, following the renewed Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began at dawn Tuesday, and which resulted in hundreds of martyrs and wounded among Palestinian civilians.

A Hamas leader told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper that an Israeli captive was killed and two others were injured in the Israeli bombardment of Gaza.

The unnamed leader emphasized that Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s main goal is to get rid of the Israeli captives.

Gaza: Shifa Hospital is unable to handle the growing number of victims

Tuesday 18-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Dr. Mohamed Abu Salmiya, director of the Shifa Hospital, has said that the hospital’s medical teams are unable to handle the growing number of wounded civilians due to the intense Israeli airstrikes and bombardment.

In press remarks on Tuesday, Abu Salmiya affirmed that large quantities of medicines and medical supplies ran out as a result of the tight Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip.

“The healthcare system cannot handle the large number of injured citizens, and we are facing a shortage of medicines due to the closure of the crossings,” Abu Salmiya said.

“We are witnessing a full-fledged crime committed by the occupation,” he added.

At least 342 people have been killed in a wave of brutal Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, Gaza’s health ministry said. The number is expected to rise as many are in critical condition or still under the rubble of bombed buildings.

The Israeli occupation army, which has enforced a total blockade of Gaza, has also issued new forced displacement orders for several areas.

The Hamas Movement said that Israel carried out a “treacherous” attack at dawn on besieged and defenseless civilians in order to overturn the Gaza ceasefire deal.

Classes in Gaza’s schools suspended until further notice

Tuesday 18-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Gaza’s ministry of education announced on Tuesday the suspension of classes in all schools and educational facilities in the Gaza Strip until further notice after the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war, killing at dawn over 352 people in intensive airstrikes.

In a statement, the ministry explained that the decision was made in light of the dire security situation in Gaza, prioritizing the safety of students and teachers amidst the ongoing heavy bombardment.

The Israeli occupation army resumed its deadly aerial attacks on Gaza at dawn Tuesday, targeting homes and tents across the Gaza Strip. The airstrikes claimed the lives of 350 civilians and injured hundreds.

Israel’s war against Gaza came after almost two months of relative calm in Gaza under a ceasefire agreement the US helped to broker. Israel had routinely violated its obligations during the truce, including by carrying out attacks and blocking aid.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime ramps up the illegal settlement activities in the West Bank last year: UN report

NEW YORK, March 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israel last year ratcheted up settlement of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, transferring its own population into the territory and unlawfully demolishing Palestinian homes, while settler violence increased in a climate of continuing impunity, a report by the UN Human Rights Office has found.

“Israel’s settlement policy, its acts of annexation, and related discriminatory legislation and measures are in breach of international law, as the International Court of Justice has confirmed, and violate Palestinians’ right to self-determination,” UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said.

He added that Israel must immediately and completely cease all settlement activities and evacuate all settlers, stop the forcible transfer of the Palestinian population, and prevent and punish attacks by its security forces and settlers.

The ongoing transfer of government powers over the Occupied Palestinian Territory from the Israeli military to the Israeli Government is facilitating the advancement of Israeli settlements in the West Bank and the steady integration of the occupied West Bank into Israel, the report said.

Covering the period from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024, the report details significant expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

Steps have been taken towards implementing plans to construct over 20,000 housing units in new or existing Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem alone, according to Israeli non-governmental organizations, while 214 Palestinian properties and structures have been demolished in East Jerusalem.

Over 10,300 units within existing Israeli settlements in the rest of the West Bank are in the pipeline and an unprecedented 49 new Israeli outposts have been established, according to the report.

“Dozens of unauthorized roads have been paved by settlers and the army around settlements and outposts, helping to connect them while blocking Palestinians’ movement and enabling further seizure of their land,” the report said.

Plans to ramp up the provision of Israeli government services in settlements “further institutionalize[s] long-standing patterns of systematic discrimination, segregation, oppression, domination, violence and other inhumane acts against the Palestinian people”, the report added.

It also pointed to “a climate of revenge” and violence across the West Bank. During the reporting period, a total of 612 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, by Israeli security forces and settlers.

“The line between settler and State violence [has] blurred to a vanishing point, further enabling an increase in violence and impunity,” the report said, pointing to steps taken by Israel to further militarize the settler movement as thousands of settlers were enlisted into Israeli security forces operating in the West Bank. The report documented a monthly average of 118 incidents of settler violence, up from 108 in 2023 – which was already a record-breaking year.

A total of 1,779 Palestinian structures were demolished in the West Bank for “lack of building permits”, which are almost impossible to obtain for Palestinians, resulting in the forcible displacement of 4,527 people.

The number of Palestinians forcibly displaced by demolitions rose by nearly 200 per cent on the previous reporting period, the report revealed.

“The transfer by Israel of parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies amounts to a war crime,” the High Commissioner said, urging the international community to take meaningful action on Israel’s advancing settlement of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

“Israel must abide by the International Court of Justice’s ruling and cease immediately all new settlement activities, evacuate all settlers from the Occupied Palestinian Territory and make reparations for the damage caused by decades of illegal settlement,” Türk said.

Palestinian Forum in Britain statement on the resumption of aggression against Gaza

Tuesday 18-March-2025

LONDON, (PIC)

The Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB) is following with deep concern the dangerous military escalation launched by Israeli occupation forces against Gaza, which has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds, including many children and women. This renewed aggression began in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following a nearly two-month pause.

“The resumption of this assault comes after the occupation authorities reneged on all previously agreed ceasefire terms and imposed new conditions without reciprocation, demonstrating their ongoing hostile intentions towards our Palestinian people,” the PFB statement said.

The Palestinian Forum in Britain strongly condemns these horrific crimes committed by the Israeli war machine against our resilient people and affirms the following:

1. We call upon the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as all free people around the world, to take to the streets in massive protests, rejecting Zionist crimes and expressing unwavering solidarity with our people in Gaza.

2. We urge international mediators and the Arab states that sponsored the ceasefire agreement to intervene immediately and exert pressure on the occupying power to end the war and adhere to the agreed terms of de-escalation.

“Finally, we reaffirm that the Palestinian people will remain steadfast in the face of aggression, holding firmly to their legitimate rights. No matter how brutal the Zionist war machine becomes, it will not break their resolve. To the occupiers and their allies, we say: the will of the people cannot be crushed, and the dawn of freedom is inevitable,” the PFB statement concluded.

At least 420 Palestinians have been killed and 560 injured as Israel launched a large-scale assault on Gaza, breaking the fragile two-month ceasefire with Palestinian resistance.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed shock over the recent Israeli air strikes on Gaza that killed hundreds of Palestinians, including children and women.

In a statement, deputy spokesperson Farhan Haq said the UN chief strongly appealed for an immediate ceasefire, the restoration of unimpeded humanitarian assistance, and the release of the remaining captives.

The UN human rights chief has also said recent Israeli air strikes in Gaza “will add tragedy onto tragedy,” and called for an urgent end to the “nightmare” in the besieged strip.

For his part, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk stressed that the last 18 months of violence have made it “abundantly clear that there is no military path out of this crisis,” noting that the only way forward is a political settlement, in line with international law.

“Israel’s resort to yet more military force will only heap further misery upon a Palestinian population already suffering catastrophic conditions,” he said.

Along the same line, Head of the UN Human Rights Office in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Ajith Sunghay, described the resumption of Israeli bombardment as “tragic developments where we are hearing reports of hundreds being killed, many of them civilians.”

“We are again seeing the scenes of mutilated bodies of children, and bodies wrapped in shrouds. It is unacceptable, even unimaginable, to once again find ourselves talking about this instead of supporting a path towards meaningful recovery and sustainable peace.”

For her part, the head of emergencies at Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Claire Nicolet expressed outrage over the renewed Israeli attacks.

“We woke up at around 2 am local time to 20 minutes of airstrikes and heavy artillery—just like the past 15 months of war. We are appalled and outraged by these new unacceptable massacres of civilians,” said Claire Nicolet.

The Israeli army pounded the Gaza Strip early Tuesday, killing more than 400 people and injuring hundreds, despite the ceasefire agreement.

Images emerging from Gaza showed that the majority of the victims were civilians, including women and children, whose homes were bombed during the night.

More than 48,500 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and over 112,000 others injured in a brutal Israeli military campaign in Gaza since October 2023.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
