While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

A conference of the Palestinian resistance factions and institutions in Gaza calls for establishing a national reconstruction program

Wednesday 19-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

A conference of the Palestinian resistance factions and official institutions in the Gaza Strip have called on Wednesday for restoring Palestinian national unity and establishing a national program in order to accomplish Gaza reconstruction and prevent the displacement conspiracy.

This came in a national conference held by the factions and national and Islamic forces in Al-Saraya Square in the center of Gaza City.

In his speech on behalf of the national and Islamic forces, the member of the political bureau of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Khaled Al-Batsh, called on the upcoming Arab summit to adopt a unified project to confront the American plans, stressing that this “requires a unified Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic position.”

Meanwhile, the head of clan affairs in Gaza, Hosni Al-Mughni, called for national unity and solidarity to stand in the face of the American-Israeli plans aimed at emptying the Strip of its people, achieving displacement, and taking control over the Strip after the Israeli war had failed to achieve its goals.

In his speech during the national conference, the spokesman for the Palestinian Civil Defense Authority, Mahmoud Basal, said that Israel is still evading the implementation of the humanitarian protocol included in the ceasefire agreement.

Rescue team recovers bodies of missing Palestinians in Gaza

GAZA, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Rescue teams Wednesday recovered the bodies of missing Palestinians in the Tal al-Sultan area, west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that rescue workers retrieved the bodies of a father along his son, identified as members of the Abdeen family, from the area after the latter went missing in August 2024.

He added that Israeli occupation forces tore down six houses belonging to the Qishta family in the downtown part of Rafah city.

Israel waged a devastating war on Gaza during the period from 7 October 2023 to 18 January 2025, killing at least 48,291 Palestinians and injuring over 111,722 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Endowments Ministry: IOF destroyed 89% of Gaza mosques

Wednesday 19-February-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announced that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) destroyed 89% of the mosques in the Gaza Strip and caused financial losses to the religious and endowment sector estimated at more than half a billion dollars.

The ministry said in a statement on Tuesday, “The occupation’s missiles and bombs completely or partially destroyed (1109) out of (1244) mosques in the Gaza Strip, which makes 89% of Gaza mosques.

The number of completely destroyed mosques reached (834) mosques that were razed to the ground and turned into rubble, while (275) mosques were partially damaged, making them unfit for use, which directly affected the performance of religious rituals.

The Ministry pointed out that Israeli crimes included bombing mosques and prayer halls while worshipers were performing prayers, as happened in the prayer hall of the Al-Tabi’een School in Gaza City.

Historic mosques and religious places were also bombed by IOF, most notably the Great Omari Mosque and three churches in Gaza City, according to the Ministry of Endowments.

The dead were not spared from the brutality and crimes of the IOF, as it targeted (40) cemeteries, out of a total number of (60) cemeteries, and completely destroyed (21) cemeteries, whereas (19) cemeteries were partially damaged, in addition to digging up graves, stealing the bodies of the dead and martyrs, and mutilating them in barbaric and brutal ways.

The Ministry pointed out that the IOF also destroyed (643) endowment properties.

In addition to the above, the Israeli aggression targeted religious education and Islamic Da'wa institutions, hindering their vital services and affecting thousands of students and beneficiaries of their services, as it targeted nearly (30) religious institutions.

The IOF also targeted (30) administrative headquarters, most notably the main headquarters of the ministry and the headquarters of the Holy Quran Radio. Additionally, (20) vehicles belonging to the ministry were either completely or partially damaged.

The ministry stated that the number of martyrs among the employees of the Ministry of Endowments, its preachers and imams surged to (315) martyrs, and the number of detainees reached (27).

It stressed that despite the ferocity of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip throughout the war period, the Ministry of Endowments did not stop shouldering its duty, and did everything in its power to carry out the role assigned to it through:

-Establishing more than (400) temporary prayer halls throughout the Gaza Strip and calling to prayers, especially in displacement camps, in partnership with charitable institutions to ensure the continuation of daily prayers, Friday prayers, and congregational prayers in addition to holding Quran memorization sessions.

-Launching and implementing projects to support preachers and memorizers to enable them to perform their preaching and conveying Quranic message during the war. (500) preachers were sponsored, and more than (700) Quran memorization sessions were held, including nearly (10,500) male and female students.

The Ministry strongly condemned the Israeli war crimes committed against the Palestinian people, and their mosques, places of worship, and cemeteries, and demanded that international institutions hold Israeli officials accountable.

It held the IOF and all those who support it fully responsible for targeting women, children, the elderly, mosques, places of worship, cemeteries, and endowment properties.

The Ministry called on Islamic countries and religious institutions to assume their responsibilities and work to rebuild the mosques and religious institutions destroyed by the Israeli occupation, so that they can regain their vital role in serving society and promoting religious and human values.

It stressed that the Ministry of Endowments will continue with all its capabilities, cadres, and employees to perform and convey the religious message.

It reiterated that rebuilding mosques is not just a religious necessity, but a humanitarian priority to ensure the continuity of services provided by the endowment sector in the face of the harsh conditions experienced by the people of Gaza.

Israeli forces kill three Palestinians in northern West Bank camp

TUBAS, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli forces detain five Palestinians, injure others near Nablus

NABLUS, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening detained five Palestinians and injured several others in Tell town, southwest of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that a convoy of army vehicles stormed the town, where the heavily armed soldiers fired barrages of live gunfire and tear gas canisters, causing several residents to suffocate from excessive tear gas inhalation and another to sustain shrapnel injury in the foot.

The occupation soldiers rounded up five residents in the course of the raid.

Earlier today, the occupation forces rounded up two Palestinians, including a minor, from the vicinity of the entrance of the Jenin refugee camp as the soldiers prevented displaced families from returning to their houses in the camp.

They also conducted a raid in Idhna town in the Hebron governorate, resulting in the detention of another and seizing his motorbike.

During the period from Tuesday evening to the predawn hours of Wednesday, the occupation forces conducted multiple raids across the occupied West Bank, rounding up at least 30 other Palestinians.

According to the latest figures from Addameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 10,000 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 365 child prisoners and 15 female prisoners.

This number includes approximately 3,369 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Addameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one.

Israeli occupation continues demolition of homes in Tulkarem refugee camp

TULKAREM, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation bulldozers continued on Wednesday evening the demolition of Palestinian residents’ homes in Tulkarem refugee camp, as part of an ongoing aggression that has targeted the camp for the past 23 consecutive days.

Eyewitnesses reported that large Israeli forces, accompanied by military vehicles and bulldozers, continued their onslaught on homes in the camp. This came after the occupation authorities issued demolition notices yesterday against 14 homes, under the pretext of opening a road extending from the UNRWA area to the Al Balawneh neighborhood.

According to local sources, residents were given only two hours to leave their homes before the demolition began. Families were seen rushing to gather their belongings, leaving behind their partially destroyed homes in shock and grief, as Israeli forces surrounded the area, deploying foot patrols throughout the camp's alleys and taking over several homes, turning them into military outposts.

Since yesterday morning, the occupation forces have completely demolished seven homes across the neighborhoods of Al Balawneh, Al-Shuhada, UNRWA and Al-Khadamat. In addition, forces destroyed critical infrastructure, including water, electricity, sewage and communication networks.

The Popular Committee for Tulkarem refugee camp stated in a press release that the Israeli occupation continues to burn and demolish homes for the 24th consecutive day. The committee confirmed that 50 homes have been completely destroyed, and 90% of the camp’s residents have been forcibly displaced due to the ongoing military aggression.

It further noted that the Israeli occupation has mapped out homes designated for demolition to pave new roads through the camp. Due to the densely packed construction, most houses adjacent to the demolition sites have sustained damage. The decision to open a road through the center of the camp is expected to result in the destruction and damage of thousands of homes.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued deploying foot and vehicle patrols in the alleys of Nur Shams refugee camp, which has been under strict military siege for 11 days. The occupation has intensified raids, particularly in the Al-Manshiyya neighborhood, turning homes into military outposts and carrying out large-scale explosions inside the camp.

Israeli infantry forces were heavily deployed throughout the city, setting up military checkpoints at key intersections. Soldiers stopped vehicles, searched them, checked passengers' IDs, and harassed young men.

Israeli forces continued seizing several homes in the city, turning them into military outposts and sniper positions while imposing a tight siege. Residents were prevented from moving freely and were subjected to interrogations and assaults. Meanwhile, the occupation took control of two homes near the Tulkarem refugee camp amid a heavy military deployment in the surrounding area.

27 people killed, 90 percent displaced during one month of Israeli aggression in Jenin

Wednesday 19-February-2025

JENIN, (PIC)

27 Palestinian citizens have been martyred and dozens have been injured so far during the ongoing Israeli military aggression against Jenin and its refugee camp, which completed its first month on Wednesday.

The scale of destruction that has been inflicted on public and private property in Jenin refugee camp, in particular, becomes clearer day after day as the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) persist in wreaking havoc on what remained of roads, homes and facilities.

According to Palestinian figures, the IOF forcibly displaced more than 90 percent of the residents of Jenin camp in the northern occupied West Bank.

Yesterday, the IOF deployed large water tanks and mobile rooms for its soldiers at the entrances of Jenin camp and some sites around it, while its bulldozers continued to destroy neighborhoods and create paths through them, according to local and media sources.

The IOF also kidnaped two children and two young men from Jenin City on Tuesday.

Jenin mayor Mohamed Jarrar said that the Israeli army followed a pattern of random destruction in Jenin camp and the area around it without leaving intact any infrastructure foundations, and burned and demolished homes in order to make the camp uninhabitable.

Mayor Jarrar accused the Israeli occupation of trying to create a new environment for the local residents to live away from the camp without being able to return to their homes, affirming that after nearly a month of ongoing aggression, Jenin became almost empty of citizens.

As part of its ongoing violations in Jenin, the IOF forced three families in al-Tayba village in western Jenin to leave their homes before using them as military posts.

The IOF also stormed Meithalun town in southern Jenin and attacked local residents with tear gas canisters, injuring a 16-year-old teenager in his arm.

Another young man suffered injuries in the same town when Israeli soldiers severely beat him.

The IOF also kidnaped a young man identified as Mahmoud al-Danouf from his home in the town.

RAMALLAH, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation authorities decided on Wednesday to demolish the homes of the families of prisoners Hayel Daif Allah from the town of Rafat, northwest of Jerusalem, and Ahmed Al-Haimouni from Hebron.

The Supreme Court of the occupation rejected the petition submitted by the family of prisoner Hayel Abdul-Jabbar Daif Allah, who has been detained since September 2024, against the decision to demolish the family home, and gave the occupation prosecution a deadline to empty the house until February 26, 2025.

The occupation also decided to demolish the home of the family of prisoner Ahmed Al-Haimouni, who has been detained since October 1, 2024.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees and Ex- Detainees Affairs said that the demolition decision and the rejection of the petition were expected, in light of all previous decisions issued regarding the demolition of homes belonging to the families of Palestinian prisoners, as it comes within the framework of systematic crimes, including the crime of collective punishment.

They affirmed that despite the decision of the International Court of Justice, which is that the continuation of emergency laws in the Israeli legal system violates several provisions of the Geneva Convention and the Hague Convention, the Israeli Supreme Court completely ignored this, as part of its disregard for the existence of the international human rights system, considering it a case of exception and that it is above the law.

It is noteworthy that the policy of house demolitions is one of the most prominent historical policies pursued by the occupation, but it has escalated significantly during the past few years, as part of the processes of erasure and confrontation of the ongoing Palestinian presence.

Spanish PM slams Trump’s Gaza proposal as “immoral”

MADRID, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez Wednesday slammed US President Donald Trump’s proposal to take over the Gaza Strip and forcibly displace its population.

Speaking at a joint press briefing in Madrid with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President Sanchez said: "I would like to reiterate, as I have said to you (al-Sisi) privately, and also to the delegation of Egyptian ministers, the absolute rejection of Spain and of your government to the proposal to move the Palestinian population out of the Gaza Strip."

He stressed that "Gaza belongs to the Palestinians and is part of the future Palestinian state,” while warning that “Its expulsion would not only be immoral and contrary to international law and the resolutions of the United Nations but would also have a destabilizing effect at a regional and global level.”

US President Donald Trump proposed to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and take over the enclave which was under Israeli genocidal assault since October 2023.

Trump said during a press conference in Washington with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu late on Tuesday, 4 February, that the US “will take over” Gaza after relocating Palestinians elsewhere under an extraordinary redevelopment plan that he claimed could turn the enclave into “the Riviera of the Middle East.”

Trump’s proposal came after the ceasefire agreement took effect in Gaza on January 19, pausing Israel’s genocidal assault on the enclave which has killed at least 48,291 Palestinians and injured 111,722, according to Palestinian Health Ministry.

Oxfam: We are only now discovering the extent of the destruction in Gaza

Wednesday 19-February-2025

LONDON, (PIC)

The British organization Oxfam said that Israel has destroyed more than 80% of the water and sewage networks in the Gaza Strip, leading to catastrophic health conditions.

Klemens Laguarda, the humanitarian coordinator for Oxfam in the Gaza Strip, said in a statement on Tuesday, “Now that the bombs have stopped, we are just beginning to realize the magnitude of the enormous destruction.”

The organization explained that Israel has destroyed 1,650 kilometers of water and sewage networks.

It noted that residents in northern Gaza and the city of Rafah in the southern part of the Gaza Strip are living on only 5.7 liters of water per day, which is less than 7% of pre-war levels. It stated that this is hardly enough for a single flush of a toilet.

Oxfam expressed hope for a continued ceasefire and the flow of fuel and aid so that Palestinians can rebuild their lives.

In the same context, Layla Bakr, the regional director of the United Nations Population Fund for Arab countries, said that the level of destruction due to the war on the Gaza Strip is visible as far as the eye can see.

Bakr called in an interview with Al Jazeera for the improvement of living conditions to help the people of Gaza rebuild and restore their normal lives.

She pointed out that people’s connection to the land remains strong, despite the amount of rubble and debris and the crowding of residents in unlivable conditions.

An assessment issued by the United Nations, the European Union, and the World Bank showed that rebuilding the Gaza Strip and the West Bank will require $53.2 billion over the next ten years, of which $20 billion is needed in the first three years.

On January 19, a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, and Israel came into effect, marking the first phase of a six-week period, following a genocide against the Gaza Strip over 15 months that resulted in the martyrdom and injury of more than 160,000 people, most of whom are children and women, and unprecedented destruction not seen since World War II.

UK Minister voices concern over current state of Palestinian children in Jerusalem

LONDON, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

A UK minister Wednesday voiced concern over the current state of Palestinian children in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

“Essential education for Palestinian children in East Jerusalem is provided by UNRWA,” Anneliese Dodds, Minister for Development at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, said on X.

She added that “The Israeli order to close its schools and the immediate evacuation of the Kalandia Training Centre is deeply worrying” while stressing that “Children’s access to education must continue uninterrupted.”

Minister Dodds made these remarks a day after Israeli occupation forces forcibly entered UNRWA facilities in East Jerusalem, including schools and a training center, violating the right to education for hundreds of students and trainees.

Israeli occupation forces and municipal authorities “forcefully entered” a UNRWA training center and three schools in East Jerusalem on Tuesday, firing tear gas and sound bombs, and ordered its immediate evacuation, the UN Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said.

At least 350 students and 30 staff were present at the Kalandia Training Centre when it was stormed, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said in a statement on X.

Israeli police officers, accompanied by staff from the Jerusalem Municipality also went to UNRWA schools “ordering their closure”, he added.

Tuesday’s incidents “have impacted 250 children in three UNRWA schools in East Jerusalem, +350 trainees in the Kalandia Training Centre, a large United Nations compound,” the UNRWA chief noted.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres slammed Israel’s action saying he “strongly condemns the breach of UN premises in East Jerusalem,” including the training center “and the attempt to forcibly enter three UNRWA schools and to seek their closure.”

He stressed that the use of tear gas and sound bombs in educational environments while students are learning “is both unnecessary and unacceptable.”

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
