Lebanon’s health ministry reported that an Israeli strike on El-Nabatiyeh El‑Fawqa killed two people and wounded 10 others.

Rescue teams later recovered five bodies from the rubble of a building in Kafr Reman, which had been hit overnight. Civil defense crews and ambulance teams worked to clear debris in El-Nabatiyeh after the strike.

In Dair Qanoun Ras El‑'Ain, two people were killed and two others were injured in an airstrike, while a woman was killed and four others were wounded when a house was shelled in Ain Baal, east of Soor (Tyre).

Israeli strikes on El-Zurariyeh town in Sidon district killed four people, including two women, and injured four others. Another civilian was killed in the town of Burj Qalaouiyah, Bint Jubail district.

The Israeli occupation army carried out near‑daily strikes in southern Lebanon following the November 2024 ceasefire, destroying homes and infrastructure to create a so-called buffer zone. These actions continued for more than a year, causing widespread destruction and displacement and escalating into a broader conflict by March 2026.

Israel has not stopped attacking Lebanon since October 2023 and has violated the November 2024 ceasefire more than 10,000 times, according to the UN. Most of these attacks have been concentrated in southern Lebanon and El-Biqaa' Valley in the east.

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced Friday evening that eight people were killed and eight others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting southern Lebanon.

Earlier in the day, three Lebanese civilians were killed and several others wounded in Israeli air raids targeting towns in southern Lebanon, amid intense Israeli artillery shelling across multiple border areas.

The Health Ministry said an Israeli strike on the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa killed two people and injured ten others with varying degrees of injuries.

In a later statement, the ministry reported that another strike targeted the town of Harouf in the Nabatieh district, killing a woman and injuring three others, including a child, bringing the earlier death toll to three with several wounded.

At the same time, Wadi al-Hujair and the outskirts of the towns of Froun, Ghandoorieh, and Touline came under heavy Israeli artillery fire using 155mm shells, while intermittent shelling also hit the towns of Sawaneh and Qlailah.

Israeli artillery also targeted the hills of Majdal Zoun and Mansouri in the western sector, while Israeli warplanes carried out nighttime airstrikes on the towns of Haris and Tiri.

The total number of Israeli strikes on towns in southern Lebanon reached 34, including 10 strikes in the Nabatieh district targeting the towns of Froun, Ghandoorieh, Touline, Sawaneh, Qlailah, Breqaa, Zrariyeh, Yahmar al-Shaqif, and Habboush.

Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon have killed at least 16 people, including children and women, and 16 others were injured, according to the National News Agency (NNA) on Thursday.

In the town of Jibsheet, three people were killed and seven wounded in an attack that destroyed a residential building. Another attack killed four civilians from the same family, including a child.

In the town of Toul, four people were killed and six wounded in an Israeli strike.

NNA also reported that an airstrike on the town of El‑Shihabiyah killed two people and injured another. Meanwhile, two additional strikes targeted a house and a sports club in the El‑Tabala area of Khirbet Silm, with no immediate information available on any casualties.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army has issued more forced displacement threats for 15 southern Lebanese towns and villages.

Alongside the aerial strikes, the Israeli army detonated multiple homes and infrastructure, particularly in the city of Bint Jubail, further expanding the scale of destruction in the occupied areas.
