'Hamas: Cancelling licenses of aid orgs in Gaza, West Bank is blatant disregard to int’l community

Wednesday 31-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement warned of the serious implications of Israeli media reports indicating that the Israeli government intends to cancel the licenses of dozens of international aid organizations operating in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Hamas described the move as a dangerous escalation against humanitarian work.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Hamas said the move reflects a “blatant disregard for the international community and the global humanitarian system,” and comes as part of Israel’s effort to politicize aid work and use it as a tool of pressure.

'Hamas pointed out that Israel is attempting to weaponize humanitarian aid as a means of blackmail against the Palestinian people, who are facing an intensifying humanitarian catastrophe, especially in Gaza, as a result of the occupation’s ongoing policies.

The Movement called on the international community, particularly the United Nations, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to take immediate and effective action to condemn these measures and pressure the Israeli government and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reverse this policy.

'Hamas also emphasized the need to prevent Israel from using humanitarian aid as a weapon of starvation and suffering, in clear violation of international law.

On Tuesday, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the Israeli government had initiated steps to revoke the work licenses of several international organizations operating in Gaza and the West Bank, including Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), under the pretext that they had failed to meet legal registration requirements.

According to the newspaper, a joint ministerial committee led by the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and the Ministry for Combating Antisemitism is behind this move. The committee has reportedly sent official letters to more than ten international organizations, informing them that their licenses will be canceled effective January 1, and that their operations must cease entirely by March 1, 2026.

The report also noted that some organizations refused to comply with Israel’s demand to provide a full list of their Palestinian staff members for so-called “security vetting”, an action based on unproven allegations that employees at Doctors Without Borders were involved in activities labeled as “terrorism.”

For its part, the European Union also warned that banning 37 international organizations from operating in Gaza would prevent life-saving aid from reaching the devastated population.

EU Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, Hajjah Lahbib, wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “The EU has been clear: the current registration law cannot be implemented as is.”

Her remarks came after Israeli authorities announced that any international organization failing to submit a list of its Palestinian staff by Wednesday would be banned from operating in Gaza in 2026.

Lahbib said: “The law on international humanitarian assistance leaves no room for doubt: aid must reach those who need it.”

'Hamas: Israel’s crimes against journalists will not silence the voice of truth

Wednesday 31-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has affirmed that the Israeli crimes against Palestinian journalists “will not succeed in silencing the voice of truth.”

In a statement released on the “Day of Allegiance to Palestinian Journalists,” which is marked annually on December 31, 'Hamas said that “the role of Palestinian journalists will remain stronger than the bullets of the occupation.”

'Hamas called for international action to hold Israeli leaders accountable for the crimes committed against journalists and media professionals in Palestine.

“This occasion comes after two years of genocidal war on the Gaza Strip that has claimed the lives of 257 journalists since October 7, 2023,” 'Hamas said

“The war on Gaza has unmasked the Israeli occupation as the most dangerous archenemy of journalism and journalists, who represent the voice and picture that unveil its crimes and massacres and contribute to debunking its propaganda through reporting the real events on the ground to the world despite their exposure to ongoing and direct targeting,” the Movement added.

Palestinian child killed by IOFs gunfire in Gaza

Wednesday 31-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC, WAFA)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) killed a Palestinian child in the south of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, amid ongoing ceasefire violations.

According to the health ministry’s emergency and ambulance authority, a child was shot dead by the IOFs in El-Mawasi area of Rafah, south of Gaza.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, has surged to 71,269 martyrs, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Thursday morning.

The Ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 171,232 people.

In its daily report, the Ministry said that hospitals received the bodies of three civilians, including two recovered from the rubble of their homes, as well as 10 wounded people during the past 48 hours.

Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 415 Palestinians have been killed, 1,152 others injured, and the bodies of 682 martyrs have been recovered.

Gaza: Thousands of patients to lose assistance after Israeli ban on MSF

Wednesday 31-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) or Doctors Without Borders has said that thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip could lose access to essential medical care after the Israeli authorities announced the suspension of its work.

In a statement on Tuesday, MSF, one of the largest medical organizations operating in Gaza, warned of a looming humanitarian disaster after Israel announced the suspension of its work along with many other international aid groups at the beginning of the new year.

MSF currently provides medical services to nearly half a million people in Gaza, in addition to supplying water and lifesaving support. The organization stressed that halting its operations would be catastrophic given the near‑total destruction of the health system in the Strip.

“With Gaza’s health system already destroyed, independent and experienced humanitarian organizations losing access to respond would be a disaster for Palestinians,” MSF said.

“MSF calls on the Israeli authorities to ensure that INGOs can maintain and continue their impartial and independent response in Gaza. The already restricted humanitarian response cannot be further dismantled.”

MSF affirmed that if its permits were revoked during 2026, a wide segment of Gaza’s population would be deprived of medical care, clean water, and other essential services.

Pascale Coissard, the emergency coordinator for MSF in Gaza, said the organization’s teams treated hundreds of thousands of patients over the past year, carrying out nearly 800,000 medical consultations in 2025.

She added that MSF staff also handled more than 100,000 injury cases and supplied hundreds of millions of liters of water to residents, underscoring the scale of the organization’s humanitarian role in the Strip.

One of the reasons MSF has been reluctant to comply with the Israeli registration rules is for fear of security for their staff on the ground as Israeli forces already killed many international humanitarian workers in Gaza.

MSF fears that its staff could be targeted. It has lost at least 15 workers there during the war. MSF also says that Israel wants to stop aid workers from describing the terrible conditions in Gaza, where no foreign journalists have been allowed to operate independently since the start of the genocidal war.

Other international humanitarian organizations face being barred from working in Gaza as of Thursday, January 1, for failing to comply with Israel’s new restrictions for aid groups operating in the devastated enclave.

Israel threatened Tuesday to suspend the operations of international aid groups that did not renew their registration, which includes requiring organizations working in Gaza to provide personal details of their staff members.

Aid agencies have repeatedly voiced concerns over those requirements, citing the safety of their employees.

Israel’s move comes as multiple countries warned that Gaza’s humanitarian situation is facing “renewed deterioration” and that conditions in the enclave “remain catastrophic.”

Gaza, which lies in ruins, is enduring a harsh winter, with heavy rain and plunging temperatures worsening already dire living conditions.

According to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper on Tuesday, the Israeli government started taking legal steps to revoke these organizations’ operating licenses, citing a lack of registration and the alleged involvement of some employees in terrorist activities.

The newspaper quoted Israel’s ministry of diaspora affairs as saying that 37 organizations have so far been affected by the suspension.

The organizations were informed by the Israeli ministry that their licenses would be revoked on January 1 and that they would have to cease and complete their activities by March 1 at the latest, the newspaper said.

Israeli attacks in Gaza kill fisherman, injure woman and child

Tuesday 30-December-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

A Palestinian fisherman was martyred and two other civilians were injured on Tuesday morning in a series of fresh Israeli ceasefire violations in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that fisherman Mohamed Bakr, 35, died of injuries he sustained after being chased and attacked by Israeli naval gunboats off the coast of Gaza this morning.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian woman was injured when Israeli forces opened fire at her outside their deployment areas east of Deir al‑Balah in central Gaza.

A child was also wounded by a bomb dropped from a quadcopter in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

At dawn Tuesday, an Israeli warplane carried out an airstrike targeting the western area of Rafah in southern Gaza.

Simultaneously, another strike was reported in the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

Israeli armored vehicles also opened machinegun fire towards the north of Rafah, while airstrikes targeted the eastern area of al‑Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out large-scale home demolitions using explosives inside their deployment areas in Rafah, southern Gaza.

Palestinian man killed, others injured by Israeli gunfire near Nablus

Tuesday 30-December-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A Palestinian man was killed and two others were injured on Tuesday evening after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on their vehicle near Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The Israeli military claimed in an official statement that its forces shot the driver, alleging he attempted a car-ramming attack near the town of Urif.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its teams responded to three critical injuries resulting from the gunfire targeting the car between the towns of Urif and Einabus. Two of the wounded were transferred to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus for treatment.

The Red Crescent added that Israeli forces prevented emergency medics from reaching a fourth person in critical condition near Urif, highlighting the ongoing field restrictions faced by medical teams in the West Bank.

Four Palestinians injured, several homes destroyed by IOF in W. Bank

Wednesday 31-December-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Four Palestinian citizens were injured on Wednesday during an Israeli army raid on the town of Jaba, south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed Jaba, blocked its entrances, raided dozens of homes, and assaulted several residents.

The Red Crescent reported that its paramedics in Jenin provided first aid for four wounded citizens after they were severely beaten by Israeli soldiers during the IOFs raid in the town, noting that the wounded were transferred to the hospital.

Local sources said the IOFs withdrew from the town after an hours-long raid, during which homes were ransacked and a number of Palestinians were detained and interrogated inside a house that was seized and used as an interrogation center.

This morning, IOFs bulldozers resumed the demolition of homes in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, targeting around 25 buildings that include nearly 100 houses.

The demolitions are part of an ongoing Israeli campaign against Tulkarem City and its refugee camps of Tulkarem and Nur Shams, where hundreds of homes, stores and facilities have already been destroyed. This Israeli aggression has forcibly displaced thousands of families, preventing them from returning to their homes.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces kidnap 24 Palestinians, serve demolition orders in Tarabeen village

Wednesday 31-December-2025

NEGEV, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police said their forces carried out a total of 24 kidnappings in the Bedouin village of Tarabeen in the Negev desert during their ongoing violent campaign against local residents, which started on Sunday

According to Israeli news websites, police handed out 87 traffic fines and issued 23 demolition orders for houses in the Palestinian Bedouin village.

The Israeli police announced on Wednesday morning that they continued to carry out Operation “New Order” in Tarabin, under the supervision of Israeli security minister Ben Gvir and police commissioner Daniel Levi.

Hundreds of police officers, border guard units and police forces are participating in the ongoing operation, which has been launched under the pretext of enhancing security and enforcing order.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police threatened to continue their intensive security activity in the village and deal with what they described as “acts of violence and disorder” with an “iron fist.”

This police threat comes as tensions escalate in Tarabin, where residents accuse security forces of practicing collective punishment.

Locals describe the atmosphere as increasingly volatile as police maintain their heavy presence and persist in their provocations and violence in the village.

IOFs raid homes, kidnap several Palestinians in West Bank

Wednesday 31-December-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed different areas of the West Bank last night and at dawn Wednesday, and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens from their homes.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnaped a young man after raiding his home in the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, and confiscated some belongings from the house of prisoner Muayad Yousef in the al‑Dahiya area.

In eastern Toulkarm, the IOFs kidnaped three young men following raids on homes in Kafr al-Labad town.

In Bethlehem, a citizen was taken prisoner during an IOFs raid in Beit Fajjar town.

In southern Jenin, Israeli occupation forces rampaged through Jaba town, ransacking homes and kidnaping citizens.

The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided first aid for two citizens before transporting them to the hospital after they were severely beaten by Israeli soldiers in Jaba town.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOFs assaulted and kidnaped at least 28 citizens following violent raids on homes in Jaba, adding that the IOF used a house as an interrogation center.

In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnaped three citizens, including a father and his son, from Turmus Ayya town and stormed Ni’lin town, amid violent clashes with local youths.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire at young men in Ni’lin town and showered them and nearby homes with tear gas, adding that several citizens suffered from suffocation.

Israeli forces also kidnaped two young men from their homes in Qalqilya and another one from Halhul City, south of al-Khalil.

In the town of Aboud, north of Ramallah, Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters into a house last night, sparking a fire inside it and leaving several residents suffocating from smoke.

Israel approves 126 new illegal settlement units northern West Bank

Wednesday 31-December-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

In a new escalatory move, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime has approved the construction of 126 illegal settlement units in the Sanur outpost, illegally located in the northern West Bank, as part of the Israeli settlement expansion policy.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, using rhetoric reflective of the extremist government’s expansionist agenda, said that the decision aims to “erase the disgrace of the withdrawal from northern West Bank”, a declaration that highlights Israel’s determination to impose new settlement realities, tightening the grip on Palestinians and undermining political solutions.

The decision is part of a rapidly growing wave of settlement projects. Official data and reports from research organizations indicate that by the end of 2025, thousands of settlement units will have been authorized across the occupied West Bank and El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

This expansion reflects a systematic Israeli strategy to accelerate settlement growth by removing security and civil approval constraints and streamlining construction procedures, all part of a broader effort to entrench Israeli control over Palestinian land in the West Bank.

Illegal Israeli settlers plow Palestinian land, raze crops in W. Bank

Wednesday 31-December-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Groups of the illegal Israeli settlers plowed swaths of Palestinian land and destroyed crops in separate areas of the occupied West Bank on Wednesday.

According to al-Baidar Human Rights Organization, a horde of settlers with tractors started plowing swaths of Palestinian-owned land in the Shallal al-Auja area north of Jericho early Wednesday morning.

General supervisor of the organization Hasan Malihat said that those settlers, who live in a new illegal outpost in the area, intend to cultivate the lands to expand their small colony.

Malihat added that the same settlers and soldiers had already carried out multiple attacks on local residents and their property in an attempt to force them to leave the area.

In another incident, the illegal Israeli settlers destroyed crops in the al‑Farisiya area of the northern Jordan Valley.

Local sources reported that settlers rampaged through dozens of dunums of cultivated land belonging to Palestinian farmer Yousef Abu al‑Aida in the al-Farisiya area.

For years, Palestinian communities in the northern Jordan Valley have endured escalating attacks by Israeli soldiers and armed settlers. In just the past two years, these attacks have driven more than 35 families from their homes and resulted in the complete depopulation of three Jordan Valley villages.

In the northern West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces bulldozed vast tracts of agricultural land and uprooted dozens of olive trees in the northern area of Zububa town, west of Jenin.

Zububa mayor Ashraf Maqalida said that the Israeli army had already delivered a notice about its intent to bulldoze 60 dunums of land planted with nearly 1,500 olive trees in this area of the town.

He added that the Israeli army had carried out a similar bulldozing operation in the area two weeks ago, which targeted agricultural lands and four plastic greenhouses.

Palestinian vehicle targeted in settler attack near Bethlehem

Wednesday 31-December-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers opened fire at a Palestinian vehicle on Wednesday evening, in the village of Al-Rashaydeh, near Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that the settler targeted a truck transporting goods, shattering its windows. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The assault came just a day after a similar incident in the same area, during which settlers opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle, injuring a woman and her infant.

Such incidents are part of a series of ongoing settler attacks in the region. The attacks include not only shootings, but also land seizures, preventing residents from accessing their property, and repeated incursions accompanied by the Israeli military. These incursions often involve daily home raids, searches, and the obstruction of agricultural activities such as grazing.

Hundreds of the illegal Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa as Israeli occupation authorities fine shops in Silwan

Wednesday 31-December-2025

El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Hundreds of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Wednesday under heavy protection from police forces, as the Israeli occupation apartheid regime simultaneously carried out punitive measures against Palestinian businesses in the town of Silwan, south of the Old City.

El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate said 524 settlers entered the compound during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, accessing the Mosque through the Maghariba Gate on the western wall. The incursions were carried out in organized groups under close police escort.

The governorate said the incursions were accompanied by violations of the sanctity of the Mosque, including the performance of Talmudic rituals inside the compound.

At the same time, Israeli occupation police forces imposed restrictions on Palestinian worshippers, checking IDs, detaining some at the Mosque’s outer gates, and limiting access to Al-Aqsa.

Al-Aqsa Mosque has been subjected to near-daily settler incursions, typically excluding Fridays and Saturdays, during morning and afternoon periods. Palestinians say the practice is part of sustained efforts to impose temporal and spatial division of the holy Islamic site.

Separately, Israeli police forces raided Silwan on Wednesday and imposed financial fines on Palestinian-owned shops. Jerusalem Governorate sources said Israeli municipal crews entered the Ein al-Louza neighborhood and issued violations against shop owners, describing the move as part of a systematic campaign of pressure and targeting against Jerusalemite traders.

Palestinians say Israel is escalating measures aimed at Judaizing occupied East Jerusalem, including Al-Aqsa Mosque, and erasing the city’s Arab and Islamic identity.

Israeli police have unilaterally allowed settler incursions into Al-Aqsa since 2003, a policy that has led to steadily rising numbers of incursions year after year.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
