While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

ýImpacts and Aspects of the Israeli Genocidal War on the Gaza Strip

Israeli war minister threatens Gaza with the destruction of more residential towers

Monday 8-September-2025

NAZARETH, (PIC)

Israeli war minister Yisrael Katz on Monday threatened to bomb more residential towers in Gaza City and to destroy the Strip and Hamas unless the captives are released and weapons are surrendered.

In a post on “X,” Katz wrote, “Today, a massive storm will strike the skies of Gaza City, and the rooftops of the towers of terror will tremble.”

He further warned the Palestinian resistance, “This is a final warning: release the hostages (Israeli captives) and lay down your arms, or Gaza will be destroyed, and you will be destroyed with it.”

Israel estimates that 48 Israeli captives remain in Gaza, of whom 20 are alive, while around 11,100 Palestinians languish in Israeli prisons, suffering torture, starvation, and medical neglect, with many having died, according to Palestinian human rights and media reports.

Katz added, “The Israeli army continues its plans and is preparing to expand the scope of its maneuver to take control of Gaza.”

Last Friday, the Israeli occupation forces began a massive, systematic demolition of residential towers in Gaza City, which displaced even more Palestinian civilians into catastrophic conditions.

Observers say this destruction aims to force Palestinians to leave Gaza City toward the southern part of the Strip, as part of an Israeli-American plan to expel them forcibly outside of the enclave.

With US support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and International Court of Justice orders to halt. This genocide has so far left 64,455 Palestinians martyred, 162,776 wounded, more than 9,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that has claimed 387 lives, including 138 children.

One child killed every hour, Israel’s war on Gaza has killed 20,000 children

Monday 8-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Save the Children organization confirmed that the number of children killed in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 20,000 since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the enclave, nearly two years ago.

The organization reported in a statement on Monday that at least one child is killed every hour by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces, and that no fewer than 1,009 children under the age of one have been killed. It added that 450 children were born during the war and were killed before they had the chance to grow up.

Earlier, UNICEF confirmed that the war in Gaza has inflicted enormous losses on children, with at least 50,000 killed or injured, while many others face the risk of famine.

It added that more than half a million people in Gaza are trapped in famine conditions as they continue to be deprived of food, water, and medical aid, noting that no child will emerge from the terror of the bombardment without being affected by trauma.

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, revealed that nearly one million children in Gaza have been deprived of education and are suffering deep psychological crises amid the ongoing blockade and Israeli attacks.

In a previous post on the platform X, Lazzarini said there are at least 17,000 children who are unaccompanied or separated from their families.

On August 7, the international human rights organization Human Rights Watch said that Israeli attacks on schools in Gaza will disrupt education for many years, as repairing and rebuilding them will require enormous resources and time, with severe negative consequences for children, parents, and teachers.

UN warns Gaza faces rapidly closing window to prevent famine spread

Monday 8-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations has warned that there is only a narrow and fast-diminishing chance to prevent famine from spreading further across the Gaza Strip.

UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher said in a statement late Sunday that “death, destruction, starvation, and the mass displacement of Palestinian civilians are the result of choices that defy international law and ignore the international community.”

Fletcher stressed that Israel’s latest forced displacement order against Palestinians in Gaza City comes just two weeks after famine was formally confirmed in Gaza province, and in the midst of what he described as a major genocide.

“There is a very slim window, until the end of September, to prevent famine from spreading to Dair El-Bala'h and Khan Younus. But this window is closing rapidly,” he warned.

He reaffirmed, “We continue to insist that this horror can still be stopped.”

The UN official called for unimpeded humanitarian access, the protection of civilians, and the enforcement of the International Court of Justice’s provisional measures.

In Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza, five civilians, including a young girl, were killed and 22 others were injured in an Israeli shelling targeting a gathering of people.

In Khan Younus, three civilians, including two brothers, were killed and seven others were injured in an Israeli bombardment strike that targeted a tent for displaced persons in Al-Qadisiyah refugee camp, in Al-Mawasi area.

Israeli artillery also shelled various areas in the northern and southern parts of Khan Younus, while navy vessels fired shells toward the coast of Rafa'h.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, the occupying power, has been committing a genocide in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 64,522 civilians and the injury of 163,096 others, the majority of whom are children and women.

Hundreds of thousands have also been displaced, and famine has claimed the lives of 393 people, including 140 children.

Israeli occupation army continues to target, kill civilians in Gaza

Monday 8-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Monday, to carry out intensive deadly strikes and target civilians in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and tents and displace families across the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including a strike on a gathering of civilians in Gaza City’s A'hmed Yaseen street.

Two people were reportedly killed and others were injured in an Israeli strike that targeted the Ahli Hospital’s yard in Gaza City.

Casualties were reported, including children, when the Israeli army carried out an artillery attack on a house belonging to the family of Miqdad in Gaza City’s Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood.

An Israeli warplane also bombed citizens in the same neighborhood of Gaza City, injuring a number of them.

The civil defense service said that its crews managed to evacuate the bodies of four martyrs and three wounded people following a strike on their home in Gaza City’s Al-Yarmouk street.

Four people were martyred, including a girl child, and others sustained injuries in an Israeli strike on a tent sheltering a displaced family near the Shalihat area in the west of Gaza City.

The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Meanwhile, dozens of people were martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near distribution points in separate areas of Gaza.

Six people, including two children, were also proclaimed dead due to starvation and malnutrition, while other Gazans were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks, according to Gaza’s health ministry today.

At least 40 Palestinians killed in Gaza since dawn today

GAZA, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

At least 40 Palestinian civilians were killed in Israeli airstrikes and machine gunfire  that targeted several areas across the Gaza Strip since the early hours of the morning.

According to medical sources, today's fatalities include 25 in northern Gaza, one in central Gaza, and 14 in the southern part of the Strip.

The total number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, has risen to 64,522  , the vast majority of whom are women and children. The number of those injured has climbed to 163,096.

Medical sources also confirmed that several victims remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings, as ongoing airstrikes and severe damage to roads continue to hinder the efforts of emergency and civil defense crews.

Gaza: Death toll from starvation climbs to 393, including 140 children

Monday 8-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Six Palestinian citizens, including two children, died of starvation and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip within the past 24 hours, according to a statement released by Gaza’s health ministry on Monday morning.

The new victims have raised the total number of hunger-related deaths in the famished coastal territory to 393 people, including 140 children, the health ministry said.

According to the ministry, 115 of the famine deaths, 25 of them children, occurred after the UN-backed hunger monitoring system Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) formally declared Gaza a famine zone last month.

UNRWA, for its part, said on Monday that famine in the Gaza Strip is man-made and can be reversed through “political will.”

“In Gaza, all it would take to reverse the man-made famine is political will and to lift the ban on UNRWA supplies,” the agency said on its X page.

Since March 2, the Israeli occupation army has been closing all the border crossings with Gaza, preventing the flow of humanitarian aid and vital needs. Although limited quantities of aid have recently been allowed in, they remain insufficient to meet the minimum basic needs of the population.

Israeli occupation forces kill a Palestinian, critically injure two others in Jineen refugee camp

Jineen, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening killed a Palestinian minor and critically injured two youths in the Jineen refugee camp, according to a medical source.

Wisam Bakr, director of Jineen Government Hospital, told WAFA that the body of a minor gunned down by the occupation forces in the refugee camp was evacuated to the hospital.

The Health Ministry identified the slain minor as Islam Abdul-Azeez Noo'h Majarma, 14.

According to WAFA correspondent, the heavily-armed Israeli occupation apartheid regime soldiers besieged and opened fire at a group of civilians who attempted to inspect their houses in the camp and retrieve some of their belongings, killing Majarma and injuring the two young men.

Baker added that the two casualties were rushed to the operating rooms after sustaining critical gunshot injuries in the abdomen.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed that its medics provided first-aid treatment to and evacuated a 12-year-old female child to a hospital after the latter was injured due to being chased by the heavily-armed soldiers.

Israeli occupation forces assault youth near Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), September 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening assaulted a Palestinian youth in Abu Dees, southeast of the occupied West Bank city of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), according to eyewitnesses.

They said that a convoy of Israeli occupation army vehicles stormed the town, where the Israeli occupation soldiers brutally beat up a young man. Video footage documenting the attack went viral on social media.

The Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which also take place in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Monday 8-September-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) raided homes, demolished stores and kidnapped some Palestinian citizens during dawn and morning raids in the West Bank on Monday.

According to local sources, Israeli bulldozers demolished commercial stores in the market of Baita town, south of Nablus, after forcing their owners to evacuate them.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs reportedly kidnapped a number of young men from a car near the eastern entrance of the city.

The IOFs also carried out raids in different areas of the West Bank, with no reported kidnappings.

In a separate incident, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers set fire to some olive trees in the northern area of Yatma village, south of Nablus.

IOAR extends administrative detention of journalist 'Ali Al-Summoudi

Monday 8-September-2025

Jineen, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation authority (IOAR) has renewed, for the second consecutive time, the administrative detention of Palestinian journalist 'Ali Al-Summoudi, a 58 years old from Jineen City, extending it for an additional four months without filing any charges, according to his family.

The journalist’s son, Mu'hammed, told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper that the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs informed him of the Israeli decision to extend his father’s administrative detention.

He added that the IOAR had placed his father under six-month administrative detention on May 8, just 10 days after his abduction by the Israeli occupation forces.

Journalist Al-Summoudi suffers from several health issues, most notably diabetes and high blood pressure, in addition to his suffering from shrapnel wounds he sustained during more than three decades of field journalism.

According to his family, Al-Summoudi is in urgent need of medication, particularly for diabetes and blood pressure, yet Israeli jailers continue to deny him access to any medicine or medical care.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian vehicles south of Nablus

NABLUS, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Monday evening attacked Palestinian-licensed vehicles at the Za'tara junction, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that colonists hurled stones at passing vehicles at the junction, which separates the northern West Bank from the southern West Bank, causing damage to some of them.

Earlier, colonists attacked Palestinian-registered vehicles close to the illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar, south of Nablus, smashing the windshields of some of them.

The settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

The settler  violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.

IOAR forces a Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) Palestinian to self-demolish his home in Soor Bahir

Monday 8-September-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) forced a Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) Palestinian citizen and his four sons to demolish their homes in the town of Soor Bahir, south of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), on Monday.

Local sources reported that the IOAR forced A'hmed 'Ameera and his sons, Mus'ab, Mu'adth, and Ma'hmoud, to carry out the demolition of their four homes by themselves. These homes had sheltered 12 members of the 'Ameera family, including children.

Earlier on Sunday, the IOAR issued demolition notices targeting homes and commercial shops in the town of Al-Ram, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). Local sources said that the Israeli occupation forces raided the Coptic Quarter in the town and distributed demolition orders for three homes and four shops, demanding demolition within three days under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

During August, the IOAR carried out 30 demolition and land-clearing operations, including 12 forced self-demolitions by Jerusalemites to avoid fines, 16 demolitions executed by Israeli machinery, and two land-clearing operations targeting Palestinian streets and lands, again under the claim of unlicensed construction.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, in the first half of this year alone, the IOAR issued 556 demolition orders targeting Palestinian homes and structures, including 322 inhabited homes and 151 agricultural facilities. These actions are part of a broader policy aimed at expanding settlements and imposing new realities on the ground.

UN Rights Chief: International community has failed the people of Gaza

GAZA, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said that the international community is failing the Palestinians in Gaza and has failed them. He stressed that Israel is legally obligated to comply with the orders of the International Court of Justice, halt the genocide, punish those who incite it, and ensure adequate aid reaches Gaza.

This came in a speech delivered at the opening of the 60th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday.

He explained that the mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza by Israel, which is causing untold suffering and destruction, preventing the delivery of adequate life-saving aid, leading to civilian starvation, and killing journalists, shocks the conscience of the world.

He added, "I am appalled by the public use of genocidal rhetoric by high-ranking Israeli officials."

Türk emphasized that the region is yearning for peace, and that the Gaza Strip has become a graveyard as a result of Israeli massacres.

He stated that "further militarization, occupation, annexation, and repression will only fuel more violence, revenge, and terrorism." He continued, "The international community is not doing its duty. We are failing the people of Gaza. Where are the decisive steps to prevent genocide? Why aren't countries doing more to prevent horrific crimes? Countries must stop the flow of weapons that may violate the laws of war to Israel."

Türk stressed the need to exert pressure to achieve a ceasefire, release prisoners and arbitrarily detained persons, and deliver adequate humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Spain recalls ambassador to Israel, slams Israel’s ‘anti-Semitism’ slander

MADRID, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

Spain's Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that it recalled its ambassador in Israel for consultations in response to Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar’s remarks accusing Madrid of anti-Semitism following its new measures against Israel-bound ships and aircraft over the genocidal aggression on Gaza.

“The Spanish Government strongly rejects the false and slanderous accusations of anti-Semitism made by the Israeli Government against Spain and the Spanish people, as well as the unacceptable ban on two members of the Spanish Government entering Israel,” the Spanish Foreign Ministry said in a press statement.

It explained that “The measures relating to the inhumane situation in Gaza and the West Bank, announced today by the President of the Spanish Government, reflect the majority opinion of Spanish society and are adopted within the framework of its sovereignty and in line with its defense of peace, human rights and international law.”

The Ministry reaffirmed the Spanish Government’s firm support to “the existence of two States, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in good neighborliness and guaranteeing each other peace and security”.

It demanded that Israel “end its occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, end the violence unleashed against the Palestinian civilian population and end the humanitarian blockade of the Strip.

“The Spanish Government will not be intimidated in its defense of peace, international law and human rights,” it concluded.

Earlier today, Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced nine measures against Israel to "stop the genocide in Gaza, pursue its perpetrators and support the Palestinian population" as the war approaches the two-year mark.

At the heart of the package is a royal decree law to formalize and make permanent Spain’s embargo on the purchase and sale of weapons, ammunition and military equipment to Israel.

Additional measures include banning ships carrying fuel for the Israeli army from docking in Spanish ports, and denying access to Spanish airspace for state aircraft transporting defense material bound for Israel.

Madrid will also bar entry to individuals “directly involved in genocide, human rights violations and war crimes” in Gaza, a prohibition that could apply to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of his government.

Madrid will also prohibit imports from Israeli colonies in the occupied West Bank, while restricting consular services to Spanish citizens living in those colonies to a bare minimum.

On the humanitarian front, Sanchez pledged enhanced support for the Palestinian Authority, including a larger Spanish presence in the EU mission in Rafa'h and new cooperative projects.

Spain will also contribute an additional €10 million to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) and increase its overall humanitarian aid to Gaza to €150 million by 2026.

President El-Sisi announces preparation of comprehensive early recovery and Gaza reconstruction plan

CAIRO, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

Egyptian President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi announced on Monday the preparation of comprehensive early recovery and Gaza reconstruction plan.

Addressing the Virtual BRICS Summit, held at the invitation of Brazil, el-Sisi stated: “Egypt has prepared a comprehensive plan for early recovery and reconstruction of Gaza, which has received Arab and Islamic approval and broad support from international partners. This plan has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that rebuilding the Strip is possible, while Palestinians remain in their land.”

“Egypt also intends, immediately upon a ceasefire agreement is reached, to host an international conference for the reconstruction of Gaza, in cooperation with the Palestinian Authority and the United Nations, to mobilize the necessary support and funding to implement this ambitious plan,” he added.

Commenting on Israel’s unrelenting genocidal aggression on Gaza, which killed 64,522 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured at least 163,096 others, President el-Sisi said: “Israel has been committing the most heinous forms of killing and terror, using starvation and denial of health services as a weapon against civilians. This has led to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, to the point where the United Nations has declared a state of famine in the Gaza Strip.”

He added that Israel has “continued to expand its military operations to destroy the foundations of life, with the aims of forcing Palestinians to leave their land, implementing a plan for forced displacement, and liquidating their just cause.”

He reiterated Egypt's “unwavering position that categorically rejects any scenario aimed at displacing Palestinians from their land, under any pretext, as it signifies an attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause, suppress the two-state solution, expand the scale of the conflict, and jeopardize the peace process in the Middle East.”

He also reiterated Cairo’s “condemnation and complete rejection of attempts to impose Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank” and new colonial construction plans “with the aim of changing the legal and demographic status of the occupied Palestinian territories and imposing a fait accompli that undermines the Palestinian people's right to establish their independent state.”

He called upon BRICS Member States to “support ongoing efforts to revive the two-state solution and recognize the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state, along the June 4, 1967, borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, therefore consolidating peace and stability in the Middle East and the world at large, in a just and sustainable manner.”

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
