*** Note about the number of Palestinians, who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the Wet Bank: Palestinian Prisoners’ institutions reported that 662 Palestinians, including 39 children and 12 women, were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), during July 2025. The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), and Al-Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children. In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

According to the Ministry of Health and Environment, the death toll has reached eight martyrs and 142 injuries. Civil defense and rescue teams continue to search for victims trapped beneath the rubble. The Security and Intelligence Service confirmed that the Israeli warplanes targeted several residential neighborhoods in Sana’a, as well as official security headquarters, including the Intelligence Service Reform Center and another affiliated prison, according to Yemen’s SABA news agency. In a statement, the agency said the brutal aggression specifically targeted the facilities and surroundings of the reform center and the prison to facilitate prisoner escapes. However, thanks to swift intervention, the plan was thwarted. The statement explained that this aggression falls within the Israeli criminal agenda to spark chaos and destabilize security in the country, by using imprisoned agents previously involved in assassinations, bombings, and coordinating airstrike locations during the American-British-Israeli aggression on Yemen. Yemeni media reported that the Israeli airstrikes targeted the Dhahban power station and a residential neighborhood on Al-Raqas Street in Ma’een District, San'a. Israel’s government announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, currently wanted by the International Criminal Court, ordered the strike on Sana’a while en route to New York. Israel’s army radio reported that over 65 missiles were used in the attack, marking it the most extensive aerial attack on Yemen to date. Israeli Channel 14 said 20 fighter jets participated in Thursday’s attack on Sana’a. Local sources also confirmed that more than 10 Israeli airstrikes hit the capital. These strikes came after Yemen’s Ansar Allah Movement (the 'Houthis) launched dozens of missile attacks on Israel and Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea, in solidarity with Palestinians facing genocide in Gaza. Israeli media reported that millions of Israelis entered bomb shelters after a missile was launched from Yemen, triggering sirens in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Tel Aviv, and central Israel. Ben Gurion Airport suspended air traffic after sirens sounded, while Israeli Channel 12 said the missile from Yemen was intercepted. *** A Global Army to liberate Palestine: An unprecedented call reflecting shifts in the era of genocide Saturday 27-September-2025 NEW YORK, (PIC) After nearly two years of the genocide committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip, Colombian President Gustavo Petro stood at the UN podium and called for the formation of a global force to liberate Palestine a call that reflects the profound shifts brought about worldwide by the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. A UN Army for Palestine In his recent address to the UN General Assembly, President Petro urged Global South nations to form an international army “to liberate Palestine” and defend themselves against the “tyranny and authoritarianism” promoted by the United States and NATO. He called on countries “that do not accept genocide” to establish “an armed force to defend the lives of the Palestinian people,” stressing that mere condemnation and denunciation were no longer effective in the face of Israel’s crimes in Gaza and the West Bank. Brazilian support In a remarkable moment captured by cameras, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was seen kissing the head of his Colombian counterpart following his call for an international army to liberate Palestine and confront tyranny and authoritarianism. Lula emphasized that the authority of the United Nations was at stake, peace could not be achieved with impunity, and nothing could justify the ongoing genocide in Gaza. President Petro reiterated his call in an interview with Al Jazeera, stressing that denunciations no longer stopped the bombings or saved civilians from the genocide that has continued for nearly two years. He also linked Colombia’s historical experience with violence and internal conflict to solidarity with Palestinians, giving his political stance a human and experiential dimension. Petro’s insistence on the failure of denunciations highlights the growing discontent among large sectors of the world’s peoples, who view international institutions, especially the Security Council, as powerless in the face of the US veto. In his speech, Petro stressed the need to arrest those accused of committing genocide in Gaza and refer them to the International Criminal Court, a demand that coincides with actual arrest warrants against Netanyahu and his former war minister, which remain shelved due to global double standards. On X, Petro wrote: “Free Palestine. If Gaza falls, humanity will die.” Post-Al-Aqsa Flood transformations This advanced and unprecedented call represents a major shift that has become increasingly visible since the Al-Aqsa Flood operation in October 2023 and Israel’s subsequent genocide in Gaza, a turning point in the world’s consciousness regarding the Palestinian cause. While Israel attempted to frame its war as self-defense, the scale of destruction, killing, and forced displacement turned the global narrative upside down, redefining the conflict as one of settler-colonialism committing genocide, while exposing the falsehood of the “self-defense” claim since human rights charters affirm that an occupying power cannot invoke such a right. A historic shift According to experts, Petro’s statements reflect this transformation: it is no longer enough to speak of a “two-state solution” or issue appeals. New concepts such as “liberating Palestine” and “saving Gaza” have emerged, explaining why he proposed the idea of a global army to confront Israel. Writer Ahmad Basheer Al-Eileh argues that the courageous Colombian president launched a qualitative shift in international leftist discourse. Unlike the traditional leftist critique of US policies, imperialism, or global capitalism, Petro went further by making a practical, unprecedented call for a “Liberation Army” under the “Uniting for Peace” framework. He stressed that this is a leap from protest to organized resistance, giving it historic weight, and considered the call for a global army to liberate Palestine the strongest statement ever made by the international left. Petro’s speech also elevated the Palestinian cause from a humanitarian solidarity issue or regional conflict to a central test of international morality. He framed what is happening in Gaza as “genocide” and compared its perpetrators to Hitler, placing the world before an unavoidable moral test. Shifts in global discourse Day after day, opposition to Israel expands due to its brutal assault and genocide against Palestinians, reflected in transformations in global discourse and the stances of many states, alongside growing popular rejection of Israel’s crimes. In a notable move, the European Union is considering for the first time suspending or canceling its free trade agreement with Israel. Recognition of Palestine is also expanding to include major powers such as Britain, France, Canada, and Australia, further increasing pressure on Israel as it faces a critical diplomatic and economic moment amid mounting international backlash. Reports from Israeli newspapers The Marker and Calcalist depict a bleak picture of Israel’s situation, with direct threats to its trade status, declining international support, and increasing reliance on US President Donald Trump’s administration. A moral rebellion President Petro’s call for a global force to liberate Palestine, combined with the growing worldwide movement against Israel, signals a mounting moral rebellion against the international community’s failure to confront the genocide in Gaza. Although the formation of a “global army” may seem far-fetched at present, the mere fact that a head of state proposed it opens the door to rethinking the tools of confronting occupation. It affirms that the Palestinian cause has entered a new stage after the Al-Aqsa Flood, where Palestine can no longer remain hostage to empty condemnations but has become synonymous with the ultimate test of global human conscience. *** UNRWA: One in three children in Gaza went without food in 24 hours amid blockade NEW YORK, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has reported that one in every three children in the Gaza Strip did not consume any food in the past 24 hours due to severe shortages caused by the ongoing Israeli blockade. In a statement released Friday, UNRWA cited a rapid needs assessment conducted by the International Rescue Committee, which found that many children in Gaza spent an entire day without access to any meals. The agency said the humanitarian toll on children is particularly devastating. Many families are struggling to cope with extreme deprivation, forcing some children to resort to work or begging to survive. UNRWA added that the psychological and physical impact of hunger, combined with ongoing war, is placing children’s health, safety, and development at serious risk. UNRWA renewed its urgent call for an immediate ceasefire, emphasizing that a ceasefire is crucial to protect the lives and well-being of Gaza's youngest and most vulnerable residents. The agency warned that without swift international action, the humanitarian crisis for children in Gaza could worsen even further. M.N. *** Organization of Doctors Without Borders suspends operations in Gaza City, due to the escalating Israeli bombardment GENEVA, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – The organization of Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) announced today the suspension of its operations in Gaza City due to the escalating Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip. The organization said its decision came after Israeli forces surrounded its clinics, leaving no possibility of continuing activities. It stressed that the suspension comes at a critical time, given the immense needs in Gaza, particularly among the most vulnerable, including newborns in intensive care units and patients with severe injuries or life-threatening illnesses who are unable to move and remain at great risk. T.R. *** Many delegates walk out as Netanyahu begins speech at UN General Assembly NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 26, 2025 (WAFA) – A significant number of delegates participating in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly’s general debate left the hall as soon as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his speech. The walkout came in protest against the crimes of genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in the killing and injury of tens of thousands, mostly women and children. Coinciding with Netanyahu’s speech, thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets of New York in support of Gaza, expressing their opposition to his speech. Participants, raising slogans calling for Netanyahu’s arrest, an end to the genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, and the urgent opening of humanitarian corridors to aid civilians, also waved Palestinian flags and carried pro-Palestine banners. Meanwhile, a significant diplomatic development underscored growing international support for Palestine, with the United Nations registering further recognitions of the State of Palestine on Monday. The United Kingdom, France, Australia, Canada, Portugal, Belgium, Malta, Luxembourg, Andorra, and Monaco joined the growing list of more than three-quarters of UN member states that have officially recognized the State of Palestine, reaffirming their commitment to the two-state solution and the pursuit of peace in the Middle East. With this wave of recognitions, the number of countries that have officially recognized the State of Palestine has reached 159 out of 193 UN member states. The list of countries recognizing the State of Palestine includes internationally influential political and economic powers such as Russia, China, Turkey, India, South Africa, Venezuela, Brazil, Sweden, Poland, Mexico, the Vatican, Norway, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia, Portugal, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, and Australia. It is noteworthy that the UN General Assembly sessions are being held this year under the theme: “Better Together: 80 Years and More for Peace, Development and Human Rights.” T.R. *** Netanyahu delivers speech at the UN to a nearly empty hall following mass walkout Friday 26-September-2025 NEW YORK, (PIC) The United Nations General Assembly Hall witnessed a mass walkout by dozens of diplomatic delegations just before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his speech on Friday evening. The resulting scene, a nearly empty hall, starkly reflected the growing international rejection of Israel’s policies and its actions in Gaza. Photos and videos captured the moment many country representatives exited as Netanyahu took the podium, leaving only the Israeli delegation and a handful of others in attendance. Channel 12 in Israel described the walkout as “evidence of the world’s negative perception of Israel,” while other Israeli media outlets called it “a public embarrassment for Netanyahu before the international community.” During the incident, the President of the General Assembly attempted to contain the situation, urging, “Please respect the session rules… please take your seats,” but most delegations continued to leave. Media reports revealed that the Palestinian mission to the UN had circulated a message to delegations in New York, calling for a coordinated walkout at the start of Netanyahu’s speech. The goal was to send a clear message: the international community “will not be complicit in genocide, war crimes, and illegal occupation.” According to the Hebrew-language Walla news site, the message asked delegations to attend the session in large numbers from the morning, then exit collectively as Netanyahu took the stage, ensuring the moment would be documented and broadcast to global public opinion. Coinciding with Netanyahu’s speech, massive demonstrations took place in New York and several other US cities in support of Gaza and in condemnation of Israel’s actions. Protesters denounced Netanyahu’s presence, referring to him as a war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court, and carried signs demanding an end to the war and accountability for Israel’s violations. Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with US and European support, has carried out a campaign of genocide in Gaza, involving killing, starvation, destruction, displacement, and mass arrests, in defiance of international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt its actions. The campaign has resulted in over 231,000 Palestinian casualties, including deaths and injuries, the majority being women and children, and more than 11,000 missing persons. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, famine has claimed many lives (mostly children), and widespread destruction has erased much of Gaza’s cities and regions from the map. *** The Gaza Center for Human Rights condemns Israel for forcing Gazans to listen to Netanyahu’s speech Friday 26-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Gaza Center for Human Rights strongly condemned the Israeli occupation apartheid regime for coercing Palestinian civilians in the besieged enclave to listen to a political speech by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu through loudspeakers, describing it as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and basic human rights. In a statement issued on Friday, the center expressed deep outrage over reports in Israeli media that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) deployed trucks equipped with loudspeakers to broadcast Netanyahu’s speech to Palestinians enduring nearly two years of genocide in Gaza. The center stressed that compelling civilians to hear a political propaganda speech by the occupying power constitutes psychological coercion and a direct violation of their dignity and personal freedom. It noted that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights safeguard freedom of thought, opinion, and conscience, and explicitly prohibit imposing political messages on civilians by force. According to the rights group, such actions represent systematic use of coercive propaganda and psychological warfare by the IOFs, unrelated to any so-called “military necessity.” Instead, the tactic seeks to humiliate civilians and strip them of their intellectual and moral freedom at a time when they are suffering from extreme siege, starvation, displacement, and mass killings. The center emphasized that international law obligates the occupying power to fully respect the dignity, lives, and fundamental rights of civilians. It highlighted that the Fourth Geneva Convention explicitly bans humiliating or degrading treatment, while Article 8(2)(b)(21) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court defines “outrages upon personal dignity, in particular humiliating and degrading treatment” as war crimes. The statement further asserted that this act is part of a broader systematic policy that includes siege, starvation, forced displacement, and military assaults, all of which fall under the categories of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. The center concluded that forcing Gazans to listen to a political speech by the leader of the occupying power amounts to cruel and degrading treatment intended to entrench control over the population’s consciousness, intimidate them, and subject them to the occupier’s coercive political will. The rights group called on the international community to denounce this practice as a flagrant breach of international law and to pressure Israel to halt the use of psychological warfare and coercive propaganda against civilians. It also urged accountability for those responsible, stressing that such actions constitute war crimes within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court. The center warned that Israel’s continued policies reflect its disregard for obligations as an occupying power and prove that protecting Gaza’s civilians requires urgent and decisive international intervention. *** 'Hamas: Israeli crimes against Gaza’s journalists will not be subject to statute of limitations Friday 26-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement has declared that the killing of 251 journalists since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip constitutes a heinous crime committed by the fascist Israeli government in full view of the world, an egregious violation of international laws, treaties, and norms. In a statement issued Friday, on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian Journalist, Hamas emphasized that these brutal crimes against journalists in Gaza will not be forgotten with time. The Movement stressed that such actions will never succeed in silencing the truth or concealing the fascist crimes of the Israeli occupation and its aggression against the Palestinian people, land, and sacred sites. 'Hamas held both Israel and the United States fully responsible for the ongoing crimes against Palestinian journalists and civilians in Gaza for the past 23 months. The statement asserted that Israeli propaganda, rooted in lies and misinformation, has failed to achieve its goals and has crumbled before the just cause of the Palestinian people and their unwavering resilience and legitimate rights. 'Hamas expressed deep appreciation for the global solidarity shown toward Palestinian journalists and media workers, and called on Arab, Islamic, and international media outlets to continue covering Israel’s crimes and to stand firmly with the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of its people. It also called upon international press unions and journalist associations to step up their support for Palestinian journalists and to exert pressure on Israel to allow international media access to Gaza to report the truth to the world. Furthermore, 'Hamas urged the international community and human rights organizations to condemn Israel’s crimes against journalists in Palestine and to initiate legal action in international courts against Israeli leaders for committing war crimes in Gaza. Finally, the Movement paid tribute to the journalist martyrs who were killed in the Israeli aggression while fulfilling their noble media mission and extended pride and respect to all journalists who continue to uncover the truth and expose the crimes of the Israeli occupation to the world. *** ****** 47 Palestinians martyred, 142 injured in Israeli aggression on Gaza within 24 hours Friday 26-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC, WAFA) -- The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday morning that 47 martyrs and 142 new injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours due to Israeli aggression. Thus, the overall toll of Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 65,549 martyrs and 167,518 injuries. In its daily statement, the Ministry reported that 5 martyrs and 33 injuries resulted from the targeting of aid seekers during the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of martyrs seeking sustenance who reached hospitals to 2,543, with more than 18,614 injuries. It also noted that the total number of martyrs and injuries since March 18, 2025, has reached 12,956 martyrs and 55,477 injuries. The Ministry added that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them. Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities. Israel's genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. *** Israel escalates its genocidal war on Gaza in its 721st day Friday 26-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces escalated their genocidal war on the Gaza Strip for the 721st consecutive day, employing air and artillery bombardment, killing the starving and displaced, backed by US political and military support and amid unprecedented international silence and betrayal. The PIC correspondents reported that the Israeli forces launched dozens of airstrikes and committed additional massacres, as the suffering of more than two million displaced people deepens under severe famine. The Israeli assault has intensified on Gaza City, with the aim of depopulating and destroying it. Latest developments Medical sources in Gaza’s hospitals have confirmed multiple casualties from Israeli shelling across various parts of the Strip since early Friday. An 11‑month-old infant, Aysel Salem Sali'h Al-'Arja from Rafa'h, died at Nasir Medical Complex in Khan Younus due to malnutrition and lack of medical care. Four more were killed when the Israeli forces struck people waiting for aid in the northern part of the central governorate. Local sources say dozens remain missing under the rubble after Israeli aircraft demolished residential homes atop their inhabitants in Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City, early today. Israeli warplanes launched strikes this morning over western Gaza City, and artillery struck eastern Dair El-Bala'h. Two air raids also struck central Khan Younus. Genocide escalates With full US backing, Israel continues its genocidal war on Gaza. According to the Ministry of Health, the toll so far is 65,502 martyrs and 167,376 wounded, with over 9,000 missing, and famine claiming hundreds of lives. Over two million Palestinians live under forced displacement amid total destruction. Israel has made children de facto targets: more than 20,000 children and 12,500 women have been killed, including 8,990 mothers. Over a thousand infants have perished, 450 of them born during the war and later killed, underscoring that the most vulnerable have been the most targeted. Since Israel reneged on the ceasefire agreement on 18 March 2025, 12,939 martyrs and 55,335 wounded have been recorded in subsequent strikes. Since 27 May, when Israel converted aid‑distribution points into killing traps, 2,538 people have been killed, over 185,381 wounded, and 45 missing. The so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”, widely seen as an Israeli‑US instrument, has been used to enforce a deadly logic of submission under the guise of “humanitarian work.” Deaths from famine and malnutrition have climbed to 442, including 147 children. *** 60 Palestinians killed in Gaza since dawn today RAMALLAH, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Sixty Palestinians have been killed since dawn today by Israeli army gunfire and bombardment in the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources. Sources said that 25 bodies were brought to Al-Shifa Medical Complex, seven to the Baptist Hospital, three to the Red Crescent Field Hospital in Al-Saraya, 20 to Al-'Awda Hospital, one to Al-Aqsa Hospital, and four to Nasser Hospital. It confirmed that 13 of those killed were aid seekers, in addition to two deaths, including a child, as a result of starvation, malnutrition, and lack of treatment. T.R. *** Seven killed, dozens injured in Israeli strike on displaced people's tent in central Gaza GAZA, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Seven Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured on Friday after Israeli forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced people in central Gaza. WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli drones struck the tent in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, leaving at least seven killed and many of the wounded in critical condition. The injured were transferred to Al-'Awda Hospital for treatment. Hospital sources across the Gaza Strip confirmed that since early Friday, 48 Palestinians have been killed in various Israeli attacks. Of these, 25 were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital, seven to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, one to the Red Crescent Field Hospital, 12 to Al-'Awda Hospital, and three to Nasser Hospital. Among the casualties were 12 civilians who had been waiting for humanitarian aid, and one child who died due to starvation, malnutrition, and lack of medical care. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 65,502 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 167,367 others injured. M.N. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Israeli occupation forces assault Palestinian citizens at entrance to Ramallah-area village RAMALLAH, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces tonight assaulted dozens of Palestinian citizens at the entrance to the village of Ras Karkar, west of Ramallah, according to local sources. Sources said that the Israeli occupation soldiers forced dozens of young men out of their vehicles and lined them up on the side of the road at the village entrance. This coincided with the closure of the village entrance by a military checkpoint, preventing dozens of vehicles from entering or leaving, amid the firing of tear gas canisters. T.R. *** IOF intensifies West Bank raids, kidnappings Friday 26-September-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched at dawn Friday a large-scale raid and kidnapping campaign across various parts of the West Bank, while Palestinian resistance fighters targeted a military vehicle during its incursion into Al-Yamoun town, northwest of Jineen. According to local sources, at least 22 Palestinians were kidnapped after IOFs broke into different areas of Nablus, including the 'Askar and Balata refugee camps, and the villages of Zawata and Kafr Qaleel. Israeli military jeeps stormed multiple neighborhoods in Nablus as well as the old and new 'Askar refugee camps, Baita and Kafr Qaleel in the south, and Zawata in the west. The IOFs also conducted widespread home invasions, ransacking properties and terrorizing residents. In Bait Rima town, north of Ramallah, a pregnant woman and her father-in-law suffered from severe teargas inhalation after Israeli forces threw stun and tear gas grenades at their home, setting it on fire. Both victims were transferred to a hospital for treatment. In Toulkarm, two residents of Atteel town were kidnapped after their homes were stormed and searched. Thursday evening also saw raids in the village of Sarta and near the towns of Al-Zawiya and Dair Ballout, west of Salfeet. Meanwhile, Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, announced that their fighters in the Jineen Battalion successfully detonated a pre-planted explosive device beneath an Israeli military Namer vehicle during its incursion into Al-Yamoun. “Our fighters are engaged in fierce confrontations with the enemy’s forces on multiple fronts and are targeting infantry units with heavy bursts of direct gunfire, responding according to the demands of the battlefield,” the Brigades said. The IOFs continue to intensify their military raids and arrests throughout the West Bank, in parallel with the ongoing genocidal war on Gaza, which has lasted nearly two years. Since October 2023, over 1,040 Palestinians have been killed and more than 9,000 injured in the West Bank due to IOFs and settler assaults, according to official Palestinian statistics. *** Rights group: IOFs kidnap journalist in Al-Khaleel (Hebron) as part of intimidation campaign against media Friday 26-September-2025 RAMALLAH, (PIC) The Palestinian Journalists Protection Center (PJPC) condemned the kidnapping of 27-year-old journalist Yasir Jaradat from the town of Sa’ir, north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs). In a statement on Thursday, PJPC said the kidnapping is part of a systematic Israeli policy aimed at intimidating journalists and silencing the truth in the occupied Palestinian territories. According to the center, the IOFs raided Jaradat’s home at dawn before taking him to an undisclosed location. Jaradat works as a reporter and photographer for the “Palestine Post” and several local outlets. The center noted that violations against Palestinian journalists have sharply increased this year, documenting about 82 cases that included arrests, detentions, and harassment, most of them across West Bank towns and cities. “These practices are part of an ongoing Israeli strategy to silence voices that document violations and expose to the world the reality on the ground,” PJPC said. The center stressed that journalists continue to be targeted by Israel through arrest, threats, and even killings, calling on the United Nations and the Human Rights Council to urgently pressure Israel to end its “terror against journalists” and ensure safe conditions for media work. It also voiced concern over the ill-treatment of journalists during detention, including insults, torture, interrogations without charges, and denial of legal representation, actions it described as flagrant violations of international human rights standards. According to PJPC, 49 Palestinian journalists are currently held in Israeli prisons. Since the outbreak of the Gaza genocide on October 7, 2023, around 55 journalists have been arrested, including 22 placed under administrative detention without charges. Since that date, the group has documented 192 cases of arrest, detention, and interrogation targeting journalists. The center added that detention conditions include starvation, medical neglect, and isolation from society, stressing that such practices represent grave breaches of international humanitarian law and Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), which guarantees freedom of opinion and expression. PJPC emphasized that international law and treaties signed by Israel require it to guarantee press freedom and the right of journalists to cover events without fear of arrest, retaliation, or death. It noted that the Geneva Conventions and their additional protocols grant journalists civilian status in armed conflicts, making their targeting or restriction a war crime. The rights group called for the immediate and unconditional release of all detained journalists, especially those held under administrative detention, and for fair trials that include access to charges and the right to defense. It also urged transparent, independent investigations into abuses against Palestinian journalists, with results published and perpetrators held accountable. “Continuing these policies undermines press freedom and constitutes a blatant assault on fundamental rights guaranteed under international law,” the group said, urging the international community to compel Israel, as an occupying power, to uphold its obligations under humanitarian law and the ICCPR, and to protect civilians and press freedom as pillars of justice and accountability. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack family in Salfeet, central West Bank SALFIT, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian family on Friday while they were on their land in the village of Marda, in the occupied West Bank province of Salfeet. Local sources reported that several colonists assaulted the family while they were picking olives on their land on the outskirts of the village. The settlers scattered the olives on the ground and reportedly brandished weapons at the family. M.N. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack homes in Masafir Yatta and steal two donkeys El-Khaleel (Hebron), September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the armed illegal Israeli settlers this evening attacked Palestinian citizens’ homes and stole two donkeys in the village of Khirbet El-'Halawa in Masafir Yatta, south of El-Khaleel (Hebron), according to a local activist. Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhmara told WAFA that colonists from the Mitzpe Yair colony, illegally established on Palestinian citizens’ lands in Masafir Yatta, attacked homes, pelted them with stones, assaulted members of the Abu Aram family, and stole two donkeys from the village. The settler violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023. The indiscriminate violence by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has been widely condemned. Several countries have imposed sanctions against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank. T.R. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attempt to seize 400 dunums east of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Friday 26-September-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) A group of the illegal Israeli settlers from the Kedar settlement attempted to seize around 400 dunums of land in the wilderness area of Al-Sawahra, southeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), while others carried out fresh attacks on Palestinian-owned land south of Salfit in the northern occupied West Bank. According to a statement by the Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate on Thursday, settlers had placed dozens of mobile homes, erected electricity poles, and laid water pipes weeks ago on land belonging to the Abu Hussein family in the Abu Hussein plateau area. The governorate said the owners’ demands to remove these violations were ignored, reflecting Israel’s ongoing policy of Judaizing land and seizing it by force. The Governorate also reported that the Israeli supreme court held a session on Thursday to review the family’s case to reclaim their land. A new hearing date will be scheduled and communicated to the family’s lawyer. The Al-Sawahra wilderness, which makes up the bulk of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) desert area, is estimated at around 120,000 dunums and belongs to several Al-Sawahra families. The land includes areas in Abu Dis, Silwan, and Islamic endowment (Waqf) property. This wilderness area serves as a vital geographical link between the northern and southern West Bank. However, it has come under a systematic settler-colonial campaign aimed at severing territorial continuity and controlling water sources. Residents face multiple attacks, including home demolitions, prosecutions, and assaults on property and livestock, all under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. Separately, settlers attacked land belonging to residents in Al-Jeeza area of the village of Farkha, south of Salfeet, on Thursday. Local sources said the settlers demolished more than 200 meters of stone walls north of the village. They noted this was the third such attack, which also included the uprooting of olive trees. In October 2024, settlers established a colonial herding outpost in the al-Batin area of the village, known as “Shoval Farm,” southwest of the Ariel settlement. Since then, the area has been subjected to ongoing bulldozing operations as part of the so-called “Greater Ariel” project. *** UN: Over 158 companies, from 11 countries, operating in Israeli settlements in West Bank NEW YORK, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) - The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) today issued an update to its database of businesses involved in certain activities in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory, listing a total of 158 business enterprises from 11 countries. The report was mandated by the UN Human Rights Council, and today’s release updates the database that was first issued in 2020, then updated in 2023. It identifies businesses involved in specific activities listed by the Council resolution, including: supplying equipment and materials that facilitate the construction and maintenance of illegal settlements, demolition of houses and property of Palestinians, surveillance activities, the use of natural resources for business purposes, and the pollution and dumping of waste in Palestinian villages. The UN Human Rights Office had received submissions concerning 596 businesses following a public call for input in 2024. With the resources made available, the Office reviewed 215 of these enterprises for this update, including all 97 that were listed in its 2023 update. A total of 68 new companies were added to the list published in 2023, while seven of those listed in 2023 were removed as they were no longer involved in any of the activities concerned, taking the total number to 158 businesses in the current update. The companies covered by the 2025 update focus primarily on business activities related to construction, real estate, mining and quarrying. The Office continues to review the allegations concerning the businesses whose assessment could not be completed in time for the present report. All screened businesses were informed that the Office had received allegations about their potential involvement, and all of them were invited to provide relevant information. The Office applied an established, globally applicable methodology based on the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights to assess the responses and information received. Based on this methodology, the Office found reasonable grounds to conclude that 158 of the 215 companies reviewed were involved in listed activities. The report calls on companies to “take appropriate action to address the adverse human rights impacts” of their activities. “Where business enterprises identify that they have caused or contributed to adverse human rights impacts, they should provide for or cooperate in remediation through appropriate processes,” the report says. “This report underscores the due diligence responsibility of businesses working in contexts of conflict to ensure their activities do not contribute to human rights abuses,” UN Human Rights Chief Volker Türk said. “The methodology we used to produce this report is also an important tool to assess adverse impacts of business activities on human rights in other parts of the world,” he added. The report also highlights the role of the State to “act with diligence to ensure that business enterprises operating in conflict-affected areas are not involved in or otherwise materially contributing to serious human rights violations or abuses”. Most of the concerned companies listed in the latest update are based in Israel, while others are based in Canada, China, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. “States must take appropriate steps to ensure, through judicial, administrative, legislative or other appropriate means, that when business-related human rights abuses occur within their territory and/or subject to their jurisdiction, those affected have access to effective remedies, consistent with international law,” it adds. T.R. *** Palestinian Foreign Ministry welcomes annual report of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights about international companies operating in the illegal Israeli settlements RAMALLAH, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) - The State of Palestine welcomed the publication of the annual report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, issued pursuant to Human Rights Council Resolution 31/36, concerning the database of business enterprises involved, directly or indirectly, in Israel’s illegal settlement in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). The most recent report listed 158 companies engaged in unlawful actions. The State of Palestine affirmed that this report constitutes a fundamental tool for exposing corporate complicity in grave violations of international law, as well as of the political, economic, and social rights of the Palestinian people. The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned the companies listed in this database and demanded their immediate withdrawal from any direct or indirect contracts with the occupation and its settler-colonial enterprise. “The continuation of such contracts with the occupation constitutes actual participation in sustaining Israel’s settler-colonial, genocidal, and apartheid regime and its prolonged illegal occupation of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including Jerusalem.” “It further contributes to its policies and crimes, which encompass forcible displacement and transfer, land annexation, colonization of occupied land, pillage and exploitation of natural resources, demolition of homes, collective punishment, and the systematic denial of fundamental rights and freedoms, including the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination. These acts constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity under international law.” The Ministry further emphasized that in 2024, the International Court of Justice conclusively affirmed that Israel’s continued occupation is unlawful and required its termination as rapidly as possible. The Court also placed legal obligations upon all States not to recognize the unlawful situation, nor to render aid or assist in its maintenance, and to act to bring it to an immediate end, including through the dismantling of the occupation. Accordingly, the State of Palestine called upon the Office of the High Commissioner to update and expand the database on a regular basis to include all companies operating in settlements, to take concrete measures and demand that companies immediately withdraw from all settlement-related activities, and to refer the report’s findings to the competent judicial and regulatory bodies. The State of Palestine also called upon all States to fulfill their legal obligations by prohibiting the involvement of their business enterprises in settlement activities, adopting sanctions and trade restrictions, and ensuring full accountability for corporate complicity in these crimes. The statement concluded that, “Ending the support of States and corporations for the illegal settlement enterprise and the settler-colonial project constitutes both a legal and moral obligation, and represents an essential step toward dismantling the prolonged Israeli illegal occupation, and achieving justice and freedom for the Palestinian people.” T.R. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** Inter-Parliamentary Union expresses grave concern over unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza BRUSSELS, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) - The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) reiterated grave concern over the unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. “We are profoundly horrified by the immense suffering being inflicted upon the civilian population of Gaza, including famine, caused by the widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure and severe restrictions on humanitarian and other vital aid entering the Strip.” The IPU, in a statement, reaffirmed that the use of starvation as a method of warfare is a violation of international law and must end immediately. “We acknowledge the conclusions of the legal analysis of the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel, issued on 16 September 2025. The Commission concluded that genocidal acts, as defined under the Genocide Convention, are being committed by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza.” The statement read: “We underline again the obligations of all Member States of the United Nations to uphold international law. We reaffirm our support for the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and urge the pursuit of a Two-State solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, based on the 1967 borders, as endorsed in the Resolution adopted at the 150th IPU Assembly in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 9 April 2025. We acknowledge the recognition of the State of Palestine by a growing number of States.” IPU called on Member Parliaments to use all available parliamentary powers to demand an end to the war, a rapid and unhindered flow of humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, and respect for international law, especially international humanitarian law. The IPU was one of the first international organizations to admit Palestine as a full Member in 2008, reflecting its longstanding commitment to inter-parliamentary dialogue. T.R. *** Rev. Munther Is'haq: Israeli apartheid policies driving displacement of Christians RAMALLAH, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Reverend Munther Is'haq, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church in Ramallah and board member of the Palestinian Christian initiative Kairos Palestine, said on Friday that Israeli apartheid policies are the main cause behind the displacement of Palestinian Christians. He explained that, in addition to land confiscations, the expansion of the illegal settlements, and the construction of the separation wall, Israeli practices such as military checkpoints and restrictions on movement have created unbearable living conditions for Christians, similar to those faced by all Palestinians targeted by displacement. Responding to claims by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the Christian presence in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Isaac said the occupation has seized most of Bethlehem’s lands that belong to Palestinian Christian families. “Israel is working to uproot us family by family, just like the rest of the Palestinian people facing forced displacement,” he stated. He noted that Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) has become isolated from Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) for the first time in its history due to checkpoints and the wall, preventing Christians from accessing the city. Is'haq added that it is not new for the Zionist movement to claim it protects Christians, pointing out that such narratives are widely recognized as propaganda, while churches worldwide are increasingly taking positions against the occupation. He also said that the decline in the percentage of Christians in Bethlehem is linked to internal migration, as the city has received residents from nearby towns and villages, largely as a result of the fragmentation policies enforced by the occupation through checkpoints and iron gates. M.N. *** Slovenia bans Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir, and Smotrich from entering the country Friday 26-September-2025 TEL AVIV, (PIC) Slovenian media reported on Thursday that the government has declared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich as persona non grata, effectively banning them from entering the country. According to Reuters, Slovenia has imposed the travel ban on Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip. The decision comes in response to an ICC arrest warrant issued against Netanyahu for accusations of committing war crimes during Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza, while Smotrich and Ben-Gvir were banned from entering the country after accusing them of inciting “extreme violence and serious violations of the human rights of Palestinians” with “their genocidal statements.” This move coincides with growing Western pressure on Israel. Several countries have recently announced bans on arms exports to Israel, while others have formally recognized the State of Palestine. Slovenia has been among the leading nations taking political and economic action against Israel in light of the Gaza war. Meanwhile, Netanyahu’s plane took an unusual flight path to avoid French airspace during a recent trip to the United States for the UN General Assembly. Israeli media suggested that the decision was made to avoid possible legal consequences. The UK Foreign Office previously said that it would “follow due legal process” if Prime Minister Netanyahu were to visit the UK. At the time, it said, “We are signatories to the Rome Statute and are committed to our obligations under international law and international humanitarian law.” *** =============================================================================================================================== Editorial
