In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Spokesman for the civil defense Mahmoud Basal told a news conference on Tuesday that the Israeli plan to forcibly relocate about one million people from their homes in Gaza City and northern Gaza would lead to a major catastrophe. Basal said that the Israeli occupation army had already destroyed over 85 percent of the homes and infrastructure in Gaza City’s Al-Shuja’iya and Al-Tuffa'h neighborhoods, and about 70 percent of Al-Zaytoun, Al-Sabra, Jabalya Al-Nazla, and Jabalya Al-Balad areas. Basal pointed out that several reports issued by international and UN organization confirm that the so-called humanitarian zone, where the Israeli army plans to relocate the population, comprises no more than 12 percent of the total area of the Gaza Strip. “This would mean forcing over two million Palestinians to live in a densely packed area lacking the minimum living means,” he said. *** The Israeli occupation forces have killed 18,651 students Palestinians students since Oct 7, 2023, says the Palestinian Ministry of Education RAMALLAH, September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced on Tuesday that 18,651 students have been killed and 29,114 injured since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on October 7, 2023. The Ministry of Education clarified in a statement on Tuesday that the number of students killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression has reached more than 18,508, and those injured has reached 28,142. In the West Bank, 143 students were killed, 972 others were injured, and 792 were detained. The statement indicated that 972 teachers and administrators were killed, 4,538 were injured in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and more than 199 were detained in the West Bank. The Ministry pointed out that 172 government schools were completely destroyed in the Gaza Strip, in addition to 63 university buildings. 118 government schools and more than 100 UNRWA schools were bombed and vandalized, while the occupation's aggression led to the removal of a total of 25 schools, their students and teachers, from the educational registry. In the West Bank, 152 schools were vandalized, and 8 universities and colleges were subjected to repeated raids and vandalism. The school year was also postponed due to the financial crisis resulting from the occupation's continued seizure of Palestinian clearance funds. K.T. *** The death toll of Gaza’s journalists rises to 258 after photojournalist Rasmi Jihad Salem’s killing Tuesday 2-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Government Media Office has confirmed that the number of journalist martyrs has reached 248 since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. This comes following the announcement of the killing of Rasmi Jihad Salim, a photojournalist working with Al-Manara Media Company. In a strongly worded statement released Tuesday evening, the office condemned in the harshest terms the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation. It called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all journalistic organizations worldwide to condemn these crimes against journalists and media professionals in Gaza. The statement held the Israeli occupation, the US administration, and other countries complicit in the genocide, such as the UK, Germany, and France, fully responsible for these heinous and brutal crimes. The office also called on the international community, international organizations, and all press-related entities across the globe to take action to condemn the occupation’s crimes, to deter and pursue it in international courts, and to bring the perpetrators to justice. Additionally, it urged them to apply real and effective pressure to stop the genocide, protect journalists and media workers in Gaza, and end the ongoing crime of targeting and assassinating them. *** 'Hamas: Israel is carrying out ethnic cleansing through systematic destruction of Gaza Tuesday 2-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement declared on Tuesday that the US administration bears direct responsibility for the continuation of Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip. The Movement said the US has “paralyzed international security and justice institutions for nearly two years,” making it a de facto accomplice in crimes that “history will never forgive.” In its press release, 'Hamas accused the Israeli occupation of carrying out genocide and criminal ethnic cleansing through the ongoing systematic destruction of Gaza City neighborhoods. They stated that Israeli occupation forces are using intense aerial bombardment alongside explosive-laden robots detonated in the middle of civilian areas, labeling this as an unprecedented violation of international and humanitarian law. 'Hamas added that Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is “waging an open war on innocent civilians, particularly in Gaza City, as part of a scheme to enforce forced displacement and genocide through massacres and destruction.” They pointed out that today, Israeli forces committed a massacre in Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, killing over ten members of the Al-‘Af family, most of them women and children. Another atrocity occurred in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younus, where an Israeli drone killed eleven civilians, including seven children, as they were fetching water. 'Hamas affirmed that these crimes represent clear violations of international law and international humanitarian law and urged the UN Security Council to intervene immediately to “stop the brutal genocide and hold those responsible accountable.” The Movement also called on Arab and Muslim countries and free peoples globally to take decisive action against what they described as “the genocide being carried out by the Zionist occupation in Gaza” and to resist its projects that threaten regional peace and security. *** ****** 95 civilians killed in relentless Israeli attacks across Gaza GAZA, September 2, 2025 (WAFA) - The death toll from relentless Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since dawn Tuesday has risen to 95 Palestinians, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed. The Ministry said that the bodies of 95 slain Palestinians have been admitted to hospitals in the Strip since the dawn hours of today. As part of this, 35 bodies were admitted to Al-Shifa Hospital, four others to Al-Shaikh Radhwan clinic, 10 others to Al-'Awda Hospital, three others to Al-Aqsa Hospital, 31 others to Nasser Hospital, and 12 others to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital. The Israeli occupation apartheid regime unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of genocidal air strikes across the Strip and killing at least 11,502 with 48,900 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 95 slain Palestinians and at least 281 injuries were admitted to Gaza hospitals. Also within the last 24 hours, Israel killed 12 aid seekers and injured 90 others, raising the total death toll and casualties among aid seekers to 2,306 and over 16,929, respectively. Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 63,633 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 160,914 others. Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip. The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba. K.F. *** Gaza: Hospitals receive 76 martyrs, death toll climbs to 63,633 Tuesday 2-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC) During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of at least 76 civilians, as well as 281 people suffering from different injuries following Israeli attacks, according to Gaza’s health ministry on Tuesday morning. Accordingly, a total of 11,502 people have been killed and 48,900 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025. The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 63,633 martyrs, including 2,306 aid seekers, the health ministry said. The Ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 160,914 people, including 16,929 aid seekers. The Ministry also said that Gaza’s hospitals recorded 13 new fatalities, including three children, in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, bringing the death toll from the famine to 361 victims, including 130 children. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip. *** Israeli genocidal war on Gaza continues to claim more lives Tuesday 2-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Tuesday, to carry out intensive deadly strikes and target civilians in different areas of the Gaza Strip. According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and displace families in different areas of the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine. According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including a strike on a house that killed 10 people and injured others in Gaza City’s Al-Daraj neighborhood. Four people were also martyred and others suffered injuries when a drone bombed them near the destroyed Khilla gas station in the Jabalya Al-Nazla area of northern Gaza. Several casualties were reported, including martyrs, in Israeli attacks on the Abu Iskandar area of Gaza City. The Israeli army also massacred nine people, including children, in an aerial attack on a house in Gaza City’s Tal El-Hawa neighborhood. Four other people were killed and several others sustained injuries in Israeli strikes on two homes in Gaza City’s Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood. Another strike targeted a tent in the west of Al-Shaikh Radhwan Bridge, west of Gaza City, injuring three women. The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women. Meanwhile, dozens of people were martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near distribution points in separate areas of Gaza. 13 people, including three children, were also proclaimed dead due to starvation and malnutrition, while other Gazans were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks, according to Gaza’s health ministry today. *** Gaza Health Ministry: 13 Palestinians, including 3 children, die of starvation in 24 hours Tuesday 2-September-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Gaza Ministry of Health warned on Tuesday of the accelerating catastrophic consequences of famine in the besieged enclave, reporting that 13 Palestinians, including three children, died within 24 hours due to malnutrition caused by Israel’s starvation policy. In its daily statistical report, the ministry said the total number of famine-related deaths since the start of Israel’s genocide on Gaza has reached 361, including 130 children. The ministry noted that 185 people died of starvation in August alone, the highest monthly toll in recent months. Among them were 70 children, 12 of whom died after the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) officially designated Gaza as facing famine. According to health officials, 43,000 children under the age of five and 55,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women are currently suffering from malnutrition. It also reported that 67 percent of pregnant women are anemic, the highest rate in years. The ministry warned that the situation is worsening amid severely limited emergency response capacity and critical shortages of food and medical supplies. Since the start of Israel’s genocide on Gaza, hospitals have been recording daily deaths from starvation, mostly among children, as the blockade continues to prevent the entry of food, medicine, and fuel needed to operate health facilities. Gaza is now facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, with international organizations warning that the death toll will continue to rise as the health system collapses and Israel’s attacks and restrictions block the delivery of humanitarian aid. *** 46 Palestinians killed in Gaza since midnight in Israeli strikes on different areas in Gaza GAZA, September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Health sources in the Gaza Strip reported that of 46 Palestinians have been killed between midnight and 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday as Israel’s bombardment of different areas across the Strip. No fatalities were reported at Al-Ma'moudiya Hospital during the same period. Emergency and ambulance teams are working around the clock to deal with causalities and deaths resulting from the aggression, stressing that the health situation in the Strip is extremely critical due to the ongoing bombing and targeting of medical infrastructure. Since October 7, 2023, the occupying forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 63,557 Palestinians, the majority of whom children and women, with 160,660 reported injured. K.T. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Hundreds of the illegal Israeli settlers perform Talmudic rituals at Al-Aqsa’s Buraq Wall, in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Tuesday 2-September-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) Hundreds of the illegal Israeli settlers performed Talmudic rituals and blew horns on Tuesday morning at the Al-Buraq Wall plaza, adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under tight protection from Israeli occupation apartheid regime police. The move comes amid escalating Israeli violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings, where recent weeks have seen an increase in settler incursions and provocations inside the holy compound. At the same time, Israeli occupation police obstructed Palestinian residents and students at the Sheikh Sa'd checkpoint, east of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), delaying their access to workplaces and schools. Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) continues to witness intensified restrictions against Palestinians, including the erection of checkpoints, movement restrictions, and frequent incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque. On Sunday, the Jerusalem Governorate said leaked video footage showed Israeli authorities carrying out excavations and demolition works beneath Al-Aqsa Mosque, damaging Islamic relics dating back to the Umayyad era. In a statement, the governorate warned that these excavations, conducted secretly or semi-secretly, aim to erase archaeological evidence of the Islamic historical presence in Al-Aqsa. It said the destruction of Islamic artifacts could also undermine the Mosque’s architectural integrity and historical landmarks, stressing that such actions violate international law and conventions protecting cultural heritage. *** Illegal Israeli settlers launch drone over Bethlehem-area-town, raising fears of new colonial plans Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)., September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers launched a drone on Tuesday over the town of Tuqua', southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem). Security sources told a WAFA correspondent that a group of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed the town and gathered near a gas station in its center before launching the drone, sparking concerns among residents about potential new colonial plans in the area. Y.S *** Palestinian injured in settler attack in western Nablus Tuesday 2-September-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) A Palestinian citizen suffered injuries on Tuesday when a horde of extremist Jewish settlers assaulted him in Dair Sharaf village, west of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. According to local sources, Mufeed Noafal was beaten and injured by settlers during his presence on his own land in the western plains of the village. Noafal was rushed to the hospital for medical assistance. In a separate incident, the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnaped over 10 Palestinians and stormed 150 homes and a cemetery during a dawn raid in Kafr Qaleel village, east of Nablus. Local sources reported that a citizen suffered injuries and was transferred to the hospital after Israeli soldiers assaulted him in Kafr Qaleel. Meanwhile, the IOF demolished an unfinished house in Battir town, west of Bethlehem, under the pretext of unlicensed construction. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian homes in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)-area-village Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Tuesday attacked Palestinian-owned homes in the village of Kisan, east of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), according to a local official. A'hmed Ghazal, Secretary of the Fatah Movement in Kisan, told WAFA correspondent that a group of colonists from the colonial outposts established on the lands of the village of Al-Minya, stormed Kisan and gathered near the main street. The settlers fired sound bombs and hurled stones towards Palestinian resident's homes. The local residents confronted the attackers . Ghazal added the attack is part of ongoing colonist attacks, in an attempt to force Palestinians to leave their own lands with the aim of establishing a pastoral colonial outpost in the area. Y.S. *** Illegal Israeli settlers take over house in Hebron Old City Al-Khaleel (Hebron), September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Tuesday evening took over a Palestinian-owned house in the Old City of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to local sources. They said that dozens of colonists, protected by the occupying forces, seized a house belonging to the Nasir family close to the Old City, and sealed off several streets, including the Shalala street. The city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), which houses the Ibraheemi Mosque, is home to roughly 160,000 Palestinian Muslims and about 800 notoriously aggressive Israeli colonists who live in compounds heavily guarded by about 1,500 Israeli troops. Israel has expelled the only international monitors protecting Hebron’s Palestinians from 800 heavily guarded colonists, one of whom committed the 1994 massacre that triggered their deployment. Thirty-one years ago, Israeli colonist Baruch Goldstein broke into the Ibraheemi Mosque and opened fire at Palestinian Muslim worshippers, killing 29. Four Palestinians were killed on the same day in the clashes that broke out around the Mosque in response to the massacre. In the aftermath, the mosque was divided into two parts, with the larger part turned into a synagogue, while heavy scrutiny was imposed on the Palestinians and areas were closed completely to them, including an important market and the main street, Shuhada Street. K.F. *** Israel seizes 455 dunams of land in Qalqilya and Nablus districts to expand colonial outpost RAMALLAH, September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities announced on Tuesday the seizure of 455.58 dunams of land belonging to the villages of Jit and Farata, east of Qalqilya, and Tell, west of Nablus, declaring them so-called “state land” as part of efforts to seize more Palestinian territory, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission. The commission affirmed in a statement that the new announcement targets the area where the Havat Gilad colonial outpost is located, established in 2003 on the lands of the three villages of Jit, Far'ata, and Tal. The occupation authorities aim through this seizure to regularize the status of a colonial outpost established in the area, Havat Gilad, which the occupation government announced its intention to regularize years ago. With this seizure, the total land seized under the “state land” designation since the far-right government took office in early 2023 has risen to over 26,000 dunams, issued through 13 separate announcements. The Commission revealed in a report today that colonists have attempted to establish 18 new settlement outposts since the beginning of last month, predominantly agricultural and pastoral. It added that the occupation authorities have seized 45 dunams of Palestinian land through four seizure orders for military purposes, including the establishment of a buffer zone around the Eli Zahav settlement in Dair Ballout, Salfeet, the construction of settlement roads in Deir Istiya, and the establishment of a military post in Tammoun, Tubas. Additionally, Israel’s planning authorities have reviewed 31 master plans for settlements, including 27 for settlements in the West Bank and four within the boundaries of the occupation municipality in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). They approved 15 plans for the construction of 4,492 new settlement units, while 12 plans were submitted for the placement of 2,328 settlement units on an area of 2,594 dunams. In Jerusalem, the municipality approved one plan and submitted three plans for the placement of 229 settlement units on 9,443 dunams. Y.S. *** Israeli occupation forces hand over several demolition notices near Ramallah RAMALLAH, September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) distributed several demolition notices this morning in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. Amin Abu Alia, head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, told WAFA that several jeeps, accompanied by the so-called "Civil Administration," raided the village for several hours and distributed demolition notices for several homes, barracks, and agricultural lands, in addition to a demolition notice for the village's private garden. K.T. *** Israeli occupation forces demolish house in southern West Bank town Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday demolished a Palestinian-owned house in the Batteer town, west of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a local source. Khaleel Mu'ammar, member of the Batteer Village Council, said that the occupying forces tore down a villager’s house under construction, which covered an area of 100 square meters, purportedly for being built without a license. Israel has long demolished Palestinian houses and structures as a means to achieve “demographic control” of the occupied territories. It has long denied planning permits for Palestinians to build on their own land or to extend existing houses to accommodate natural growth, particularly in Jerusalem and Area C, which constitutes 60 percent of the occupied West Bank and falls under full Israeli military rule, forcing residents to build without obtaining rarely-granted permits to provide shelters for their families. Since the onset of the Israeli genocidal aggression on Gaza in October 2023, however, the practice has been turbocharged, with Israeli bulldozers tearing down people's homes on a near-daily basis. Overseen by Bezalel Smotrich, Israel's far-right finance minister, who also wields power over authorities in the West Bank - and is a colonist himself, demolitions saw a surge in 2023 and 2024, including in Area A, which is under Palestinian Authority jurisdiction, and Area B, which is under joint security control between the PA and Israel - soaring from 29 structures to 265. To maintain a veneer of legality, Israeli courts issue standing demolition orders to Palestinian homes, often on the pretext of a lack of building permits. The orders can hang over families for years before they’re executed. In contrast, Israel argues that building within existing colonies is necessary to accommodate the “natural growth” of colonies. Therefore, it much more easily gives approximately 1 million Jewish Israeli colonists there building permits and provides them with roads, electricity, water, and sewage systems that remain inaccessible to many neighboring Palestinians. K.F. *** Israeli occupation forces set up gate at entrance of southern West Bank village Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday set up a gate at the entrance of Al-Maniya village, southeast of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a local source. Zayid Kawazba, head of Al-Maniya Village Council, said that the occupying forces erected a gate at the southeastern entrance of the village. On Monday, the gun-toting soldiers erected two gates at the western and southern entrances of the village, effectively sealing off all entrances to the village and denying the villagers access to the city of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem). The Israeli occupation forces have tightened military measures across the occupied West Bank hours after the release of 90 Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire went into effect on January 19, dismembering and isolating cities and governorates from one another using military gates, barriers, and concrete blocks. The Israeli military measures are in parallel with ongoing attacks by Israeli colonists across the West Bank to terrorize Palestinians and displace them from their lands to seize them and build illegal Jewish colonies that separate Palestinian communities. Israel severely restricts Palestinians’ freedom of movement within the occupied West Bank through a complex combination of approximately 898 fixed and flying checkpoints and gates, including 18 gates that have been installed since the start of 2025 and 146 others installed in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, colonist-only roads, over 200 military bases, and various other physical obstructions. Closures, besides other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 58-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project, which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians. K.F. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** New 7amleh report shows Meta's role in amplifying harmful content against Palestinians during Gaza genocide RAMALLAH, September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media has released a new report titled “Meta’s Role in Amplifying Harmful Content During Genocide in Gaza.” The report exposes the failure of Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, to protect Palestinians from incitement and hate speech in Hebrew. It reveals the company’s biased policies and complicity in enabling such discourse during Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, while disregarding the provisional measures issued by the International Court of Justice on January 26, 2024, which explicitly called for the prevention and punishment of “direct and public incitement to commit genocide.” The report highlights that Meta, the world’s largest social media company with 3.35 billion daily active users, plays a crucial role in the Palestinian digital ecosystem. However, despite this centrality, the company failed to meet its responsibilities by allowing inciting and dehumanizing Hebrew content to proliferate -including posts from Israeli politicians and government officials- while simultaneously imposing heightened restrictions on Palestinian content through removals, account suspensions, and systematic algorithmic penalties. The report is based on a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative evidence, including thousands of cases documented by 7or – The Palestinian Observatory for Digital Rights Violations, which recorded over 2,000 pieces of harmful content manually detected on Meta’s platforms between October 2023 and May 2025. It also draws on data from 7amleh’s AI-Powered Violence Indicator, which detected more than 2.5 million harmful Hebrew posts in 2024 alone. Additional evidence includes open-source analyses, investigative journalism, and direct advertising experiments conducted by 7amleh in 2023 and 2025, which showed that Meta’s ad systems continued approving and profiting from violent and inciting content by accepting it as paid advertising. Together, these findings place direct responsibility on Meta for failing to curb dangerous discourse fueling digital violence with real-world consequences. The report raises serious concerns about the absence of algorithmic accountability and the company’s negligence in protecting Palestinian users from escalating digital crimes. Despite employing over 40,000 content moderators and generating $134.9 billion in revenue in 2023, Meta failed to allocate sufficient resources to address Hebrew-language incitement. The report stresses this failure is not due to lack of capacity, but lack of will and priority. Jalal Abu Khatir, 7amleh’s Policy Manager, stated: "These practices expose systematic racial discrimination in content governance. While Palestinian narratives are widely suppressed, genocidal incitement in Hebrew is allowed to thrive unchecked, making Meta a direct partner in entrenching injustice and discrimination." The report presents a series of recommendations directed at Meta, policymakers, and civil society. It calls on Meta to immediately invest in effective infrastructure for Hebrew content moderation, develop fair classifiers to detect hate speech and incitement, and take urgent human rights due diligence and risk assessment measures in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Meta must also make a public commitment not to be complicit in atrocity crimes. The report further urges governments to investigate the complicity of big tech companies in genocide and to impose binding frameworks for transparency and accountability. Civil society is encouraged to continue documentation, archiving, and cross-border advocacy coordination to ensure accountability for corporate actors involved in violations. 7amleh emphasizes that Meta’s continued disregard of Hebrew incitement -and its monetization through advertising- represents not only a moral failure but actual complicity in grave violations against Palestinians. Holding Meta and other tech companies accountable is no longer optional; it is a humanitarian, ethical, and legal imperative to ensure that the digital space does not become a tool that enables genocide and mass violence. K.T. *** The Jerusalem Governorate issues report on Israeli violations during August RAMALLAH, September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – The Jerusalem Governorate has Tuesday issued a report that monitored the violations of the Israeli occupation in the governorate during August 2025, which focused on arrests, actual imprisonment decisions, demolitions, eviction orders, deportation and house arrest decisions, in addition to massive settlement projects, the most dangerous of which is the E1 project. Settler Attacks: The Jerusalem Governorate documented (59) attacks carried out by settlers during August 2025, including (7) physical assaults. These included storming Al-Aqsa Mosque, organizing provocative marches in the Old City, and attacks against citizens and property. These attacks fall within an organized policy implemented by terrorist settler groups, supported by the far-right occupation government, which provides them with legal and political cover and openly encourages them to commit crimes against Palestinians. Several Israeli officials and extremists participated in these violations, including Knesset members and ministers in the occupation government, reflecting official state support for these settlement practices. Injuries: In the context of the grave and escalating violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities in occupied Jerusalem, in blatant breach of its obligations as an occupying power under international humanitarian law, the Jerusalem Governorate recorded (25) injuries against Jerusalemites during August 2025. These included live and rubber bullet wounds, as well as fainting cases caused by sound bombs and tear gas. These violations demonstrate that the far-right occupation government has unleashed its forces to carry out assaults against Palestinians under legal cover and military protection, reflecting official complicity and a deliberate policy of impunity. Crimes and Violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque: August 2025 witnessed a systematic escalation in Israeli assaults on Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Jerusalem Governorate documented (8,617) settlers storming the mosque’s courtyards, in addition to (2,495) others who entered under the cover of so-called “tourism,” as part of a Judaization policy aimed at imposing occupation sovereignty over the mosque. These violations peaked on the anniversary of the so-called “Destruction of the Temple,” when around (3,969) settlers participated in large-scale incursions under heavy protection from occupation forces. These included public and provocative religious rituals such as “lighting the menorah,” “epic prostration,” blowing the “shofar,” and the introduction of Torah symbols like “Torah scrolls” and the “Ark of the Covenant,” along with raising Israeli flags and slogans of the alleged temple. The violations also included organizing weddings, night tours, and musical performances in temple priest attire, in blatant violation of the existing historical and legal status quo, and in grave breach of international law and UN resolutions, threatening to ignite a dangerous religious conflict in the region. The Jerusalem Governorate confirms that these violations constitute a flagrant breach of the existing historical and legal status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque, a violation of international law and UN resolutions, and warns that their continuation threatens to spark a religious conflict in the region. Targeting National Figures in Jerusalem: During August 2025, the Jerusalem Governorate documented continued occupation policies targeting Palestinian religious and national figures, in an effort to impose severe restrictions on free Jerusalemite discourse and reduce its influence. • On August 1, occupation forces arrested the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque and judge at the Jerusalem Sharia Court, Sheikh Iyad Al-Abbasi, threatening him against addressing the aggression on Gaza in his sermons, before releasing him later. • On August 6, occupation authorities issued a six-month ban on the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, preventing him from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the pretext of “posing a danger to the public” following his sermon on July 25. • On August 20, the occupation escalated its targeting of national leadership in Jerusalem by renewing a ban on the Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, preventing him from entering the West Bank for the seventh consecutive year, as part of exclusion and isolation policies. • On the same day, occupation intelligence summoned the Secretary of Fatah in Jerusalem, Shadi Mutour, for interrogation, handing him a renewed ban on entering the West Bank. Kidnapping Cases: The Jerusalem Governorate documented a significant escalation in repression and arrest policies carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities during August 2025, with (32) Palestinians arrested, including (4) children and (2) women. Occupation Court Decisions Against Detainees: Occupation courts imposed unjust rulings against detainees, including actual imprisonment, house arrest, deportation orders, heavy fines, and in some cases travel bans. Many detainees had their detention extended for long months or even years without being charged. Actual Imprisonment: The Jerusalem Governorate documented (17) actual prison sentences issued against Jerusalemite prisoners during August 2025, including (12) administrative detention orders (without charge). These rulings reflect the occupation’s escalating policy of targeting detainees, exacerbating their suffering. House Arrest: In August 2025, the occupation authorities issued (3) house arrest orders. Deportation Orders: The occupation issued (7) deportation orders against Palestinians in August 2025, including (4) banning entry to Al-Aqsa Mosque. Travel Bans: Under the pretext of “security reasons,” the occupation issued (2) travel bans during August 2025, targeting Palestinians, especially in occupied Jerusalem. Demolition, Bulldozing, and Property Confiscation: The occupation carried out (30) demolition and bulldozing operations, including (12) forced self-demolitions, where Palestinians were compelled to destroy their own homes to avoid heavy fines, and (16) demolitions carried out by occupation bulldozers, in addition to (2) land leveling operations targeting Palestinian lands and roads, under the pretext of “unlicensed construction.” Meanwhile, the occupation imposes severe restrictions that make obtaining building permits nearly impossible for Palestinians in Jerusalem. Demolition, Forced Eviction, and Land Confiscation Orders: During August 2025, the Jerusalem Governorate documented (93) notices, including (92) demolition orders and (1) land confiscation order, mainly in the neighborhoods of Silwan, Issawiya, Al-Eizariya, Sur Baher, Umm Tuba, and Qalandiya. Crimes and Violations Against Jerusalem Institutions and Landmarks: Occupied Jerusalem witnessed a systematic escalation of Israeli assaults during August 2025 targeting religious, educational, and Christian institutions, professional unions, as well as national leaders and preachers. This comes as part of a policy aimed at undermining Jerusalemite identity and tightening control over the religious and civic landscape in the city. These assaults included raids, arrests, deportation orders, as well as financial and legal restrictions on churches, posing serious threats to the Palestinian presence in the city. Illegal Settlement Projects: During August 2025, the Jerusalem Governorate documented a total of (17) colonial settlement plans, based on daily monitoring of official announcements by the so-called “Civil Administration and Jerusalem Municipality,” in addition to East Jerusalem YMCA documentation. These plans included five depositions, three approved plans, two pending approval, three settlement projects inaugurated, one project launched, and three put up for tender—all within Jerusalem, its suburbs, and settlements built on Palestinian land. The settlement plan in the “E1” area east of occupied Jerusalem is among the most dangerous Israeli projects, aimed at undermining Palestinian presence in and around the city. It extends over about 12,000 dunums, covering lands of Issawiya, Al-Tur, Anata, Al-Eizariya, and Abu Dis. The project aims to create direct geographic continuity between the Ma’ale Adumim settlement and occupied Jerusalem within a network connecting eastern settlement blocs, while severing territorial continuity between the northern and southern West Bank. The project forms part of the “Greater Jerusalem” plan, which seeks to consolidate Israeli control over East Jerusalem by creating the so-called “eastern ring” of settlements, preventing any Palestinian neighborhood expansion to the east, and linking with the “Eastern Gateway” plan that extends to Highway 1 at the expense of Shuafat and Anata lands.
