While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Analysts hail Saudi-Pakistan defense pact as step toward regional stability

Arab News, Naiat Khan

September 18, 2025

 KARACHI:

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed a Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement on Wednesday, pledging that aggression against one country would be treated as an attack on both, in what experts described as a landmark move that reflects shifting global alignments and decades of close cooperation between the two allies.
The accord was concluded in Riyadh during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Sharing a copy of the joint statement on X early on Thursday, Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman described the two nations as “One front against any aggressor ... Always

and forever.”

Pakistani analysts meanwhile said the agreement underscored both countries’ intent to formalize longstanding security ties while also reflecting broader shifts in the regional and global order.

“The defense pact between Pakistan and KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) … will have a long-term impact on the power matrix of both South Asia and the Middle East,” Huma Baqai, an academic and foreign affairs expert, told Arab News.

“This development is definitely indicative of a changing global order and new alliances in the making. It may also result in a domino effect of more Gulf and Arab states seeking such alliances with Pakistan.”

She said Saudi Arabia’s decision was a recognition of Pakistan’s military capabilities, demonstrated during its May 2025 conflict with India.

The two South Asian neighbors fought a four-day war earlier this year after an attack in Indian-administered Kashmir that New Delhi blamed on Islamabad. Pakistan denied involvement, but the hostilities — the deadliest since 2019 — left more than 70 people dead before a US-brokered ceasefire took effect.

In Islamabad’s telling, it shot down at least six Indian aircraft during the fighting and forced New Delhi to agree to a ceasefire.

Saudi-Pakistan defense pact: A historic strategic alliance

By Dr. Ali Awadh Asseri

Arab News, September 18, 2025

Security analyst Syed Muhammad Ali described the accord as “international recognition that Pakistan is not just a South Asian power but a power which can contribute toward preserving peace and security in the Middle East as well.”

He said “Saudi confidence in Pakistan’s military is evidence that the international community views Pakistan as a capable and responsible power after Islamabad gave a befitting response to New Delhi in the May 2025 conflict.”

Defense analyst Muhammad Samrez Salik, a retired major general, said the agreement would build on more than eight decades of close security ties between the two countries:

“The latest defense pact will augur well for the defense and security of both nations and for regional stability. KSA has recognized that and decided to benefit from Pakistan’s military capabilities. I expect and hope that KSA will also help Pakistan achieve economic stability.”

Baqai added that the pact could also be seen “as a positive development which would definitely have a ripple effect on the Pakistani economy.”

Jeddah-based Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain, a former Pakistani federal minister, said the pact “symbolizes the trust, fraternity, and unshakable bond that has always existed between our two nations — rooted in faith, mutual respect and common destiny.”

He added that this remarkable milestone  embodies the shared vision of the crown prince “for a secure, prosperous, and united Muslim Ummah.”

Earlier on Thursday, Sharif wrote on X that talks with the Saudi crown prince covered a wide range of issues, including regional challenges and steps to enhance bilateral cooperation.

“On the bilateral front, I greatly value HRH’s consistent support and his keen interest in expanding Saudi investments, trade and business ties between our two countries,”

he posted.

“It is my fervent prayer that Pakistan-Saudi Arabia’s friendship continues to flourish and attain new heights of glory.”

'Hamas calls for global protests to break Gaza siege and stop genocide

Thursday 18-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian resistance movement, 'Hamas, issued a global appeal on Thursday, urging people worldwide to escalate solidarity actions with Gaza in response to the Israeli ongoing genocide, starvation, and forced displacement of more than two million besieged Palestinians in the coastal enclave.

In a statement, Hamas called for three consecutive days of action, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (September 19–21), as “days of rage” against the occupation and its supporters. The Movement urged global protesters to raise their voices against international silence and inaction, demanding an end to the genocide, the opening of border crossings, and the lifting of the blockade.

'Hamas encouraged mass demonstrations across cities and capitals around the world, denouncing the destruction of residential towers in Gaza, continuous airstrikes, and the forced displacement of civilians. The statement also condemned US backing of the occupation and what it described as international complicity.

The Movement called for intensified protests outside Israeli and US embassies, as well as embassies of states supporting the occupation, to expose crimes of genocide and starvation and to reaffirm the Palestinian people’s right to freedom and independence.

'Hamas also highlighted the importance of mobilizing student, labor, and parliamentary platforms to increase pressure on governments and institutions to halt the genocide, stop the forced expulsion of Gaza’s residents, and ensure the urgent entry of humanitarian aid.

The Movement further urged support for the “Global Sumud Flotilla” heading toward Gaza, stressing its humanitarian role and warning Israel against targeting it.

“'Hamas calls for a new phase of sustained global mobilization against the Zionist aggression,” the statement read, “to amplify the outcry against killings, bombardment, genocide, starvation, and forced displacement, while unifying efforts to end the assault, lift the blockade, and reopen crossings.”

Algeria describes UN Security Council failure to halt Gaza genocide as a disgrace

Friday 19-September-2025

NEW YORK, (PIC)

Algeria’s representative to the UN Security Council, 'Ammar Bin Jumu'a, said that the Council’s repeated failure to adopt a resolution to stop the war in Gaza is “a disgrace,” accusing the body of being unable to act in the face of genocide happening before its eyes.

His remarks came after the Security Council once again, on September 18, 2025, failed to pass a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza due to another US veto.

Bin Jumu'a said, “The Security Council has once again failed to protect the Palestinians. What a disgrace, what a disgrace that we cannot act while genocide unfolds before us.”

He added that the Council’s failure to stop what he described as a genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza is a clear, decisive moment: either stand up to stop the genocide or remain complicit in these crimes.

On Thursday evening, the United States used its veto power to block a Security Council draft resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. The resolution had the support of 14 member states, including all ten elected members, but Washington’s veto killed it.

The draft resolution, submitted by ten Council members, demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the unconditional release of all hostages.

The text also expressed deep concern about the worsening humanitarian crisis, the spread of famine, and the expanding Israeli offensive in Gaza City.

US Ambassador to the UN Morgan Ortagus said during the vote that Washington rejected the resolution because it “equates Israel and Hamas” and “fails to recognize the reality on the ground.”

United States vetoes UN Security Council resolution calling for immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza

NEW YORK, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

The United States on Thursday evening (Jerusalem time) vetoed a United Nations Security Council draft resolution submitted by the ten non-permanent members, which called for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The draft resolution, backed by 14 of the 15 council members, urged all parties to respect the ceasefire and demanded that the Israeli government immediately and unconditionally lift all restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

It further called for the safe and unhindered distribution of aid to those in need—particularly by the United Nations and its humanitarian partners—throughout the entire territory, in accordance with international humanitarian law and the principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence.

The resolution also emphasized the need for the full restoration of essential services across Gaza.

The resolution was put forward by the ten current non-permanent members of the Security Council: Pakistan, Panama, Algeria, the Republic of Korea, Denmark, Slovenia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Guyana, and Greece.

Speaking on behalf of the co-sponsoring countries, Denmark’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Christina  Lassen, said, "We represent the will and expectations of the General Assembly members who elected us." She called on Security Council members to support the resolution and uphold the Council’s responsibility to maintain international peace and security. "The catastrophic situation in Gaza is what drives us to act today," she added.

The Republic of Korea’s ambassador to the UN, who currently holds the rotating presidency of the Security Council, noted that this meeting marked the 10,000th session in the Council’s history. He also stressed its coincidence with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations and the eve of the high-level week of the General Assembly, urging members to keep these milestones in mind while fulfilling the Council’s mandate.

Spain's Prosecutor's Office says human rights violations in Gaza will be investigated

MADRID, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Spanish Public Prosecutor's Office announced on Thursday that Madrid will investigate human rights violations in Gaza as part of its cooperation with the International Criminal Court (ICC).

In a statement, the State Attorney General said that the office issued a decree establishing a working group to investigate violations of international human rights law in Gaza, with the aim of collecting evidence and making it available to the competent authorities, thus respecting Spain's obligations regarding international cooperation and human rights.

The statement added that this initiative by the Spanish Public Prosecutor's Office comes in response to the recommendations of the report of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Palestinian Territories, mandated by the United Nations, which urges state parties to cooperate with the investigation conducted by the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.

According to the decree of the Spanish Public Prosecutor's Office, Madrid is "obligated to provide the necessary cooperation and assistance" to the investigation, "which legitimizes the opening of an investigation within the scope of the Office of the Prosecutor's mandate, in order to make the principle of international cooperation real and effective."

The decree added: "Given the current situation in the Palestinian territories, any evidence, direct or indirect, that may be collected in our country must be incorporated into a procedural framework that allows for its subsequent use."

According to the Prosecutor, collective evidence can serve as evidence against crimes committed.

In 2024, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Spain is among the countries that have joined the proceedings initiated by South Africa before the International Court of Justice, which accuses Israel of committing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

WHO says Gaza hospitals 'on the brink of collapse'

GENEVA, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

The World Health Organization (WHO) warned that Gaza's already overstretched hospitals are on the brink of collapse due to the expansion of the Israeli ground offensive in the northern Gaza Strip, calling for an end to these inhumane conditions.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a post on X on Thursday that "the military incursion and evacuation orders in northern Gaza are leading to new waves of displacement, pushing families already suffering from psychological trauma towards an increasingly shrinking area that is inconsistent with human dignity."

He warned that "hospitals, already overstretched, are on the brink of collapse, as escalating violence impedes access and prevents WHO from delivering vital equipment.

UN: 75 Palestinians died in Israeli detention in two years

Thursday 18-September-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

At least 75 Palestinians, including a 17-year-old, have died in Israeli detention since October 7, 2023, according to a report released on Wednesday by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in the occupied Palestinian territories.

“49 of these detained victims were from the Gaza Strip, 24 from the West Bank, and two were Palestinian citizens of Israel. An additional 19 deaths were acknowledged by Israeli authorities without sufficient details to verify their identities,” the report explains.

The report also points to five other Palestinians, including a 16-year-old, who died in custody shortly after being shot by Israeli security forces, some without timely medical attention.

The report has accused Israeli authorities of systematically torturing Palestinian prisoners, subjecting them to deliberate ill-treatment, and denying them access to medical care.

“Israeli authorities have deliberately imposed conditions of detention that amount to torture or other forms of ill-treatment and that have contributed to the deaths of detainees, while the culture of impunity and the denial of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) access have predictably fostered extreme violence against Palestinians in Israeli jails.”

“We have documented the systematic torture and ill-treatment to which Israel has subjected Palestinian prisoners, including repeated beatings, waterboarding, stress positions, the use of rape and other sexual and gender-based violence and the imposition of deliberately inhumane conditions such as starvation and the denial of clean clothes, hygiene necessities and medical care.”

OHCHR said “Israeli authorities must urgently end the systematic torture and other ill-treatment of Palestinians held in their prisons and other places of detention and protect and ensure their right to life.”

At least 22 detainees who died had health conditions requiring medical attention prior to their arrest, while in at least 12 cases, OHCHR gathered testimonies or evidence in the form of autopsy reports that detainees died after being beaten or tortured by Israeli security forces.

The office also drew attention to Israel’s refusal to comply with a September 7 High Court decision ordering the State to improve the quantity and quality of food provided to Palestinian prisoners, as well as Israeli attempts to conceal reports on detention conditions.

“Unless rebutted by investigations respecting international standards for each incident, Israel remains responsible for every single death in custody,” it said, warning such practices may amount to war crimes or crimes against humanity.

“Israel has the obligation to end all practices that amount to torture or other ill-treatment, and to protect all detainees against such practices, including by ensuring prisoners have regular access to their families, their lawyers, the courts and that independent bodies such as the (International Committee of the Red Cross) ICRC conduct regular inspections of places of detention,” the rights office underscored.

“Israel must protect and respect the right to life of all prisoners, and must provide access to adequate medical care, including to ensure that prisoners do not die from preexisting conditions,” it added.

Gaza: Hospitals receive 79 martyrs, death toll climbs to 65,141 martyrs

Thursday 18-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC, WAFA)

During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of at least 79 civilians, as well as 228 people suffering from different injuries following Israeli attacks, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Thursday morning.

The Ministry also reported that a total of 12,590 people have been killed and 53,884 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 65,141 martyrs, including 2,513 aid seekers, the health ministry said.

The Ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 165,925 people, including 18,414 aid seekers.

Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The Israeli occupation army intensifies attacks on civilians, kills dozens in Gaza

Thursday 18-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Thursday, to carry out intensive deadly strikes and target civilians in different areas of the Gaza Strip, mainly in Gaza City.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and tents and displace families across the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including airstrikes that have killed at least 30 civilians in Gaza City since early this morning.

Two people were reportedly martyred and others sustained injuries in an Israeli attack on civilians near the port of Gaza City.

Multiple casualties, including two martyrs, were reported in Israeli airstrikes on the northern areas of Gaza City.

Another strike near Palmera Restaurant in Gaza City’s Al-Rimal neighborhood claimed the life of one citizen and injured several others.

Two girl children also sustained injuries when an Israeli quadcopter dropped bombs on civilians near Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Meanwhile, dozens of people were martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near distribution points in separate areas of Gaza.

Other Gazans were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks, according to Gaza’s health ministry today.

Four deaths due to starvation amid warning of imminent food, fuel shortage in northern Gaza

Thursday 18-September-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Thursday that four people, including a child, have died of hunger and malnutrition caused by Israel’s starvation policy, amid warnings of an imminent depletion of food and fuel supplies in the northern areas of the Strip.

The ministry said that the total number of deaths caused by malnutrition has risen to 435, including 147 children. It noted that 157 deaths, including 32 children, have been recorded since international organizations declared a famine in Gaza.

Meanwhile, UN agencies and Oxfam expressed deep concern over the depletion of food supplies in northern Gaza, where hundreds of thousands of residents are already facing famine after Israel shut down the only functioning crossing in the area last week.

On Tuesday, the Israeli military began its ground assault on Gaza City in the northern Strip, intensifying efforts to empty the city of residents by opening an additional road for those heading south, despite there being no safe areas left to accommodate them amid escalating attacks.

Hundreds of thousands remain in the city, with many refusing to obey the army’s orders to move south due to the dangers along the route, harsh conditions, severe food shortages in the south, and fears of permanent displacement.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in a statement, “There are major concerns that fuel and food stocks will run out within days as there are currently no direct entry points for aid into northern Gaza.”

It added that “transporting supplies from the south to the north is becoming increasingly difficult due to growing congestion on the roads and insecurity.” The statement also noted that the Zikim crossing was closed on September 12, and aid agencies have been unable to deliver supplies since then.

Bushra Al-Khalidi, Oxfam’s Policy Lead, said that this step could be “another strategy to push the population to move south”, a forced displacement that human rights organizations have confirmed amounts to a crime of ethnic cleansing.

'Abeer 'Utaifa, a spokesperson for the World Food Program, which previously used the crossing before its closure, said, “There is an urgent need to open an active border point leading to the north to bring in essential life-saving humanitarian supplies.”

Four Palestinians, including children, killed in Israeli shelling on Gaza City

GAZA, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

Four Palestinians, including children, were killed and others injured on Thursday as Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in northeastern Gaza City, amid a wide-scale ground offensive in Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces targeted the Al-Zarqa area in Al-Tuffa'h with heavy artillery fire, leading to the killing of four people. Medical and civil defense crews, along with local residents, managed to retrieve the body of a young girl from the rubble. However, efforts to recover additional bodies were hindered by continued shelling.

In a separate attack, Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians near the Al-Sanafoar intersection in the same neighborhood, resulting in the killing of 23-year-old Mu'hammed Sa'eed Al-Reefi.

Meanwhile, Jerusalem Hospital, operated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, confirmed it had received five injuries after an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device near the Bank of Palestine in central Gaza City.

According to medical sources in Gaza’s hospitals, at least 42 Palestinians have been killed since dawn today as Israel intensifies its bombardment of the besieged coastal enclave.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 65,141 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 165,925 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

15 Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City

GAZA, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

At least 15 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded on Thursday evening as Israeli warplanes continued their intense bombardment of Gaza City, targeting multiple residential neighborhoods.

WAFA correspondent reported that two civilians were killed in an airstrike that targeted a group of people in the Al-Nasr neighborhood. Earlier in the day, a man was killed in a drone strike on Al-Remal, west of the city, while two others were killed in separate airstrikes on northern Gaza.

Three more Palestinians were killed in a strike targeting a group near the port gate in western Gaza City.

Additionally, nine Palestinians were killed in combined air and artillery shelling in the eastern parts of Al-Tuffah neighborhood and near Al-Muqawasi Towers in eastern Gaza City.

Another civilian was killed when Israeli warplanes bombed Al-Shati refugee camp in the west of the city.

In the south of the Gaza Strip, several Palestinians were injured when Israeli forces opened fire on displaced people sheltering in tents in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.

According to local sources, Israeli police forces stormed Kafr I'qab town, in northern Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and kidnapped Murad El-'Ajlouni. He had been serving three life sentences and an additional 20 years since 2002 before being released during the current war on Gaza as part of a prisoner exchange deal.

In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped two citizens after stopping them at a makeshift checkpoint.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs carried out violent raids on homes and detained dozens of young men in Kafr Thuluth town.

Local sources said that the IOFs assaulted about 50 young men following raids on their homes in the town before detaining and questioning them inside a house they stormed and used as an interrogation center.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque

Thursday 18-September-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Thursday morning, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to local sources, at least 138 settlers entered the Mosque today through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers in the eastern area of the Mosque.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

NABLUS, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

Dawabsha added that the colonists damaged the tires of a vehicle belonging to 'Izzat Dawabsh, a water technician assigned by the Services Council to distribute water within the villages.

Dawabsha was carrying out his duties while inspecting the meters that had been removed by the colonists.

Illegal Israeli settlers plow privately owned farmland in northern Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Thursday night plowed agricultural land owned by Palestinian citizens in the northern Jordan Valley, in yet another escalation of ongoing efforts to seize Palestinian property in the area.

Local sources reported that colonists brought in tractors and began plowing farmland near Palestinian residents’ tents near the village of Al-Farsiyah.

The same colonists have been targeting the area for months, enclosing pasture lands with fences and taking over agricultural plots in a systematic attempt to expand their control over the region.

This latest move comes amid increased colonist activity across the occupied West Bank, often carried out under the protection of Israeli forces and with the aim of displacing Palestinian communities.

Occupation forces demolish two homes as the illegal Israeli settlers expand outpost near El-Khaleel (Hebron)

El-Khaleel (Hebron), September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) on Thursday demolished two homes in Al-Tayaran neighborhood, south of Hebron, while colonists continued to expand a new settlement outpost east of Yatta, south of El-Khaleel (Hebron).

WAFA correspondent said that IOFs stormed Al-Tayaran neighborhood in the town of Al-Dthahiriya, south of Hebron, and bulldozed two 100-square-meter homes belonging to the Abu Sharkh family, which housed 12 people.

Local resident Akram Abu Sharkh told WAFA that residents of the area are suffering greatly as a result of daily colonists' attacks, which include the destruction of water and electricity networks, preventing students from reaching their schools, as happened last week, and conducting provocative patrols around residents' homes, especially at night, with the launching of drones emitting loud sounds and the blowing of so-called horns, in an attempt to instill fear among residents.

He added that the Israeli occupation forces and groups of colonists are imposing a siege on the residents, preventing them from leaving their homes and grazing their sheep, and preventing their relatives from visiting them, saying that this is an attempt to pressure them and force them to leave their lands.

Meanwhile, the illegal Israeli settlers are continuing excavation and expansion work on the new colonial outpost they established on citizens' lands in the 'Huwwara area, east of Yatta.

Activist Osama Makhamra told WAFA correspondent that a group of colonists continues daily expansion work on the outpost they established in the middle of last month. The outpost consisted of three tents pitched on citizens' lands, and it quickly expanded.

IOFS raze home, illegal settlers attack property in the West Bank

Thursday 18-September-2025

According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces with a bulldozer stormed in the morning the village and knocked down a house belonging to a local resident under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

Recently, the Israeli army notified some Furoush Bait Dajan villagers of its intent to demolish their homes.

At dawn, a group of the illegal Israeli settlers infiltrated into Bait Dajan village in eastern Nablus and destroyed an irrigation network connected to a plastic greenhouse belonging to a Palestinian farmer.

Another horde of the illegal Israeli settlers released their cattle into an olive grove in El-Burj village, southwest of al-Khalil, extensively damaging its crops.

Israeli occupation forces install new metal barrier southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces installed a metal barrier on Thursday at the entrance of a road connecting the village of Harmala to the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), effectively restricting Palestinian movement in the area.

According to WAFA correspondent, the installation of the gate further limits access for residents who rely on the road for daily transportation, including access to schools, workplaces, and medical services.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission has previously reported that the total number of military checkpoints and metal barriers erected by the Israeli army across the occupied West Bank has now surpassed 900. Since the beginning of this year alone, 18 new metal barriers have been installed.

These barriers and checkpoints are part of a broader Israeli policy that imposes heavy restrictions on Palestinian movement, contributing to economic hardship and undermining basic human rights. Human rights organizations have consistently criticized the use of such infrastructure as a form of collective punishment.

Amnesty urges global action to end complicity in Israel’s crimes against Palestinians

LONDON, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) –

Amnesty International has called on states, companies, and both public and private institutions to immediately end their political, economic, and military support for Israel, which the organization says is enabling the continuation of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, as well as the illegal occupation and system of apartheid against all Palestinians.

“It is beyond time for states, public institutions, companies, universities and other private actors to end their lethal addiction to economic gains and profits at all costs,” said Agnès Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International. “Israel’s prolonged unlawful occupation and decades of apartheid have required in-depth and sustained support through economic relations and trade. Twenty-three months of relentless bombardment and an ongoing genocide have demanded endless supplies of weapons and surveillance equipment, backed by privileged trading relations and states and companies prepared to ignore the indefensible.”

Amnesty’s briefing comes on the anniversary of the September 18, 2024 UN General Assembly resolution that demanded Israel end its occupation of Palestinian territory within 12 months. That resolution followed a July 2024 advisory opinion by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which found that Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land is unlawful, and its treatment of Palestinians violates international prohibitions on racial segregation and apartheid.

The organization argues that global political and economic systems have not only failed to hold Israel accountable but have actively supported or facilitated the conditions that sustain what Amnesty describes as crimes under international law.

Among the measures called for in the briefing are a range of state-level actions aimed at addressing corporate complicity in human rights violations. These include banning companies that contribute to or profit from Israel’s violations of international law, introducing effective legislation and oversight mechanisms, halting purchases and public contracts linked to implicated firms, and implementing divestment strategies.

Amnesty International named 15 companies it has identified as complicit in Israel’s ongoing violations. These companies span various sectors, including defense, surveillance, infrastructure, and utilities.

Among U.S. arms manufacturers, Boeing and Lockheed Martin were cited. Israeli defense firms named include Elbit Systems, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). In the surveillance and technology sector, the briefing highlights China’s Hikvision, the U.S.-based Palantir Technologies, and Israel’s Corsight.

Other implicated firms include infrastructure and transport companies such as Spain’s Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) and South Korea’s HD Hyundai. Additionally, Israel’s state-owned water company, Mekorot, was listed under the utilities sector.

The organization urged its global network of members and supporters to demand an immediate end to what it called the "political economy underpinning Israel’s international crimes," emphasizing that “human dignity is not a commodity.”

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
