While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Hamas says committed to ceasefire agreement, accuses Netanyahu of making false claims

Sunday 19-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement has reiterated its commitment to the ceasefire agreement, accusing the Israeli occupation army of persistently violating it and inventing unfounded excuses to justify its crimes.

In a brief statement on Sunday, senior Hamas official 'Izzat El-Resheq accused Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu of trying to evade his commitments under pressure from “his extremist and terrorist coalition” in an effort to escape his responsibilities towards the ceasefire agreement and justify his actions to the mediators.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, Israeli attacks in Gaza have resulted in the martyrdom of 38 Palestinians and the injury of 143 others.

Earlier, airstrikes targeted southern Gaza and other areas after the Israeli occupation government and its forces blamed Hamas for targeting its soldiers in Rafah.

Conflicting Hebrew news reports claimed that a security incident happened in Rafa'h, resulting in injuries and fatalities among Israeli soldiers, while other reports confirm the occurrence of an attack without mentioning any casualties.

Israel’s Channel 14 reported that the Israeli airstrikes on Rafa'h following the incident were aimed at protecting members of the Yasser Abu Shabab militia, who had allegedly clashed with fighters from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas.

'Hamas delegation headed by Khaleel El-'Hayya arrives in Cairo to discuss ceasefire implementation

Sunday 19-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

A 'Hamas delegation, headed by chief negotiator Khaleel El-'Hayya, arrived in Cairo on Sunday to discuss the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement with Egyptian mediators, Palestinian factions, and political forces.

The visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to ensure all parties adhere to the terms of the ceasefire agreement signed in Sharm El-Shaikh on October 9, 2025. It also seeks to address unresolved issues related to humanitarian aid, reconstruction, and prisoner exchanges.

The delegation is expected to hold a series of meetings with Egyptian officials in the coming hours to explore ways to reinforce the truce and halt repeated Israeli violations, which Palestinian factions have documented in recent days.

'Hamas reaffirmed its full commitment to the ceasefire agreement, placing full responsibility for any escalation or collapse of the deal on the Israeli occupation.

Hamas also stressed that it has abided by the agreement “faithfully and precisely in both letter and spirit.” The Movement said that mediators and guarantors have not presented any evidence of 'Hamas breaching or obstructing the deal.

'Hamas, however, accused Israel of committing “serious violations from the first day of the ceasefire,” including deliberately targeting civilians, which resulted in the deaths of 46 Palestinians, including women and children, and the injury of 132 others. It also said that Israel crossed the “yellow line” demarcated in the agreement and maintained firepower control over areas deep within the Gaza Strip.

The statement added that Israeli forces blocked the entry of essential food items, fuel, and agricultural seeds and obstructed the delivery of critical supplies for restoring infrastructure and vital facilities. Israel also delayed the release of female and child detainees and continues to withhold the bodies of martyrs, some bearing signs of torture and field execution.

'Hamas emphasized its adherence to the agreement and its responsible implementation, calling on mediators and guarantors to compel Israel to respect the ceasefire terms and halt violations. The Movement also urged the international community to intervene immediately to stop Israeli aggression and ensure the agreement is enforced to bring safety and stability to the people of Gaza.

In a separate statement, Hamas reiterated its unwavering commitment to the ceasefire, demanding that all parties ensure Israel’s full compliance with both the text and spirit of the agreement. It warned that repeated violations threaten to undermine the deal.

The Movement said that Israeli occupation forces have systematically violated the agreement since its signing under the sponsorship of Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, and the United States.

'Hamas maintained that it has adhered to all provisions and protocols of the agreement with diligence, motivated by a desire to achieve stability and alleviate the suffering of Gaza’s population. Meanwhile, it accused Israel of ongoing threats and daily breaches that blatantly violate the signed agreement.

According to the statement, Israel committed multiple breaches starting from the first day of the ceasefire, including direct killings and targeting of civilians. This resulted in 46 martyrs, including women, children, and the elderly, and 132 injuries by 2:30 p.m. that day. Among the victims was the Abu Sha'ban family, which was entirely wiped out in Gaza City.

'Hamas said Israeli forces overstepped the designated “yellow line” and continue to control a strip of land 600 to 1,500 meters deep inside the Gaza Strip, preventing residents from returning home and using artillery and drones to intimidate civilians.

The Movement added that Israel has not complied with the humanitarian protocol of the agreement. Basic food items like meat, poultry, and livestock have been denied entry. Fuel and cooking gas have been allowed in at only 7.1% of the agreed levels. The Zikim crossing remains closed, and agricultural production materials are still barred.

Israel also continues to deny the entry of essential equipment for rebuilding destroyed infrastructure, such as ambulances, civil defense vehicles, medical devices, construction materials, and communication, water, and sewage systems. The cash liquidity crisis in Gaza persists due to Israel’s refusal to allow currency entry.

'Hamas said that Israel has failed to fulfill its commitments regarding prisoners, having neither released all women and children nor provided a full list of remaining detainees or the names of martyrs whose bodies are still held.

The 'Hamas Movement noted that released detainees were beaten and humiliated before being handed over to the Red Cross.

As for the bodies of martyrs, Hamas said it had received 150 corpses, some showing signs of restraint, torture, hanging, and being crushed under military vehicles, acts it described as flagrant violations of international humanitarian law and war crimes warranting international accountability.

The Movement called for the immediate entry of DNA testing devices to help identify bodies, and heavy machinery to recover remains from the rubble.

'Hamas concluded by reaffirming its full commitment to the agreement and holding Israel solely responsible for any breakdown. It urged mediators to enforce compliance and demanded urgent international intervention to ensure implementation in a way that guarantees safety and stability for the Palestinian people.

Al-Qassam: We found the body of another Israeli captive, Israeli escalation obstructs recovery efforts

Sunday 19-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the 'Hamas Movement, announced on Sunday that they had found the body of one of the Israeli captives during ongoing search operations. They stated that they would hand over the body if field conditions allowed.

In a brief statement, the Brigades warned that any escalation by the Israeli military would hinder ongoing excavation and recovery efforts, potentially delaying Israel’s retrieval of the bodies of its deceased.

Earlier today, six Palestinian civilians were killed and others wounded in an Israeli drone strike on a gathering in Al-Zawayida town, in central Gaza. This marks another clear violation of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.

Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians near “Twix Cafe” west of El-Zawayida, resulting in multiple casualties, including children.

Earlier, the Brigades reiterated their full commitment to the terms of the ceasefire agreement, particularly the complete cessation of hostilities across Gaza.

In a separate press statement, Al-Qassam said it had no knowledge of any clashes occurring in the Raf'ah area, adding that those areas are considered “red zones” under Israeli control.

They emphasized that contact has been lost with remaining combat units in those areas since the resumption of war in March 2025, and that the group has no information on whether those fighters are dead or alive. They stressed, “We have no involvement in any events occurring in those regions, and we are unable to reach any of our fighters there, if any remain alive.”

Israeli media reported on Sunday morning that two Israeli soldiers were killed in a security incident in Rafa'h, in southern Gaza. In response, the Israeli army launched intense airstrikes on Rafah and Jabalia in the north, claiming retaliation for ceasefire violations.

Israeli sources said that an exchange of fire occurred between Israeli forces and Palestinian resistance fighters in southern Gaza. Some outlets alleged that a resistance group launched a barrage of projectiles toward Israeli troops.

The Hebrew outlet “Hadashot Bazman” claimed the al-Qassam fighters attempted to target a group of mercenaries led by Yasir Abu Shabab in Rafa'h and detonated an explosive device near an Israeli occupation army vehicle that happened to be in their way.

Since the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement came into effect on October 10, 2025, Israel has committed 47 documented violations, resulting in the killing of 38 Palestinians and injury of 143 others, in clear breach of both the ceasefire and international humanitarian law.

Red Cross receives two more Israeli bodies, Netanyahu refuses to reopen Rafa'h crossing

Sunday 19-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said it handed over the bodies of two more Israeli captives to the Red Cross in the Gaza Strip last night.

This handover is part of the first phase of the prisoner exchange and ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which includes the release of prisoners and the return of remains.

“As part of Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal, we handed over the bodies of two Israeli captives that were recovered today in the Gaza Strip at 10:00 p.m. local time,” Al-Qassam Brigades said in a brief statement.

Last night’s handover will bring the total number of Israeli bodies received by the Red Cross to 12.

Earlier, the 'Hamas Movement said that the efforts to search for and extract the bodies of Israeli captives require time, advanced equipment, and heavy machinery. This is due to some bodies being buried under rubble and destroyed tunnels.

In a related context, Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday evening that the Rafah border crossing would remain closed “until further notice,” in violation of the ceasefire agreement over Gaza.

He added that the reopening of the Rafa'h crossing would depend on Hamas handing over the bodies of deceased prisoners.

Netanyahu’s statement came shortly after the Palestinian embassy in Egypt claimed that the Rafa'h crossing, the main gateway for Gazans to leave and enter the enclave, would reopen on Monday for entry into Gaza.

Despite ceasefire, Gaza death toll continues to rise, reaching 68,159 since October 2023

GAZA, October 19, 2025 (WAFA, PIC) –

Although a ceasefire in Gaza went into effect on October 11, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has continued to rise, reaching 68,159, mostly women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 170,203 others have also been injured.

This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.

Medical sources stated that 18 bodies, including ten that were recovered from under the rubble and eight that were directly killed by the Israeli occupation forces, and three injured individuals were brought to hospitals in Gaza during the past 24 hours.

Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2025, 35 Palestinians have been killed and 146 others have been injured. The bodies of 414 Palestinians have also been recovered.

Fifteen unidentified bodies previously withheld by the Israeli occupation have also been handed over as part of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal, bringing the total number of bodies received from Israel to 150, delivered in batches of 45, 45, 30, 15, and 15.

Israel violates ceasefire: Several Palestinians killed, injured in series of Israeli strikes on Gaza

Sunday 19-October-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces launched a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Sunday in a serious violation of the Gaza ceasefire, resulting in multiple martyrs and injuries. This new violation comes even though Al-Qassam Brigades clarified they were not involved in the Rafah incident that killed two Israeli soldiers.

Medical sources reported 14 Palestinians were martyred in the strikes, two transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, two to Al-Awda Hospital, seven to Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza, and three to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.

Three civilians, including two children and a woman, were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a displacement tent near the Asdaa area in northern Khan Yunis.

The PIC confirmed that a 35-year-old woman was killed and 10 others, mostly children, were wounded in a strike on tents sheltering displaced families near the Asdaa gate in Mawasi Khan Yunis.

Israeli tanks also fired artillery shells east of Khan Yunis.

Two martyrs were brought to Al-Shifa Hospital after an Israeli strike near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.

Israeli warplanes also bombed the eastern part of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in northeastern Gaza City.

Two journalists were also killed when Israeli warplanes struck a chalet used by journalists from the PMP media company in Al-Zawaida, central Gaza.

Earlier Sunday, six civilians were killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone bombed a gathering in Al-Zawaida, marking another ceasefire violation.

Eyewitnesses said the drone targeted a group of people outside “Twix Cafe” west of Al-Zawaida, resulting in casualties, including children.

Medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah confirmed receiving several injured and later declared six martyrs.

The attacks coincided with remarks by Israeli Army Minister Yoav Gallant, who warned, “Hamas will learn the hard way today that the army is determined to protect its soldiers. We have ordered the army to strike Hamas targets in Gaza forcefully.”

He added on X, “Hamas will pay dearly for every shot fired and every ceasefire breach. If they don’t get the message, our responses will escalate.”

Israeli media claimed resistance fighters attacked an Israeli army vehicle east of Rafah, stating that a resistance group fired a barrage of rockets at the occupation forces.

Reports said the fighters targeted an Israeli operational unit led by mercenary Yasser Abu Shabab in Rafah and detonated an explosive device under a military vehicle. Some outlets reported two soldiers killed, while others reported four wounded.

Meanwhile, Palestinian media quoted resistance sources as saying that the Rafah incident was misrepresented as a ceasefire breach to blame the resistance.

They explained that an old landmine, planted during earlier battles, detonated under an Israeli vehicle, and the event was misrepresented as a resistance attack.

Since the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, Israel has committed 47 documented violations, killing 38 Palestinians and injuring 143 others, in flagrant breaches of the ceasefire and international humanitarian law.

Palestinian young man killed by the IOFs gunfire in Nablus

Sunday 19-October-2025

NABLUS, (PIC)

A Palestinian young man was martyred on Sunday morning after the Israel occupation forces (IOFs) stormed El-'Ain refugee camp in Nablus and opened fire at him.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces encircled a house belonging to the family of Mabrouk in the camp before opening fire at a young man, wounding him critically.

Red Crescent paramedics evacuated the young man who had been shot by Israeli forces after besieging and raiding a house in El-'Ain refugee camp. Despite emergency efforts, the victim was pronounced dead from severe bleeding after being transferred to the hospital.

The martyr was identified as Majid Dawood. He succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen and limbs.

A health official in Nablus said the IOFs prevented paramedics from providing Dawood with first aid and left him bleeding for over half an hour before allowing his transfer to the hospital.

Israeli occupation forces assault ambulance driver near Jineen

Jineen, October 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) attacked an ambulance driver on Sunday as he passed through the Dotan checkpoint, southeast of Barta'a town.

The Barta'a Municipality said that the IOFs stationed at the checkpoint severely beat an ambulance driver while transporting a cancer patient from Barta'a town through the Dotan checkpoint. The driver sustained a fracture in his left hand and an eye injury.

The patient was then transferred to a hospital in the 1948 territories.

The municipality confirmed that the ambulance was well-known to the soldiers at the checkpoint, as it was the only vehicle transporting patients from the town through the checkpoint.

It indicated that the frequency of attacks on citizens by IOF soldiers has increased significantly in recent months, with soldiers deliberately assaulting, insulting, and detaining citizens as they pass through the checkpoint.

It is worth noting that the Dotan checkpoint is the only outlet for Barta'a residents, numbering 8,000, to reach Jineen and the rest of the West Bank.

IOFs carry out violent raids and kidnappings, in Toubas, and other West Bank areas

Sunday 19-October-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a large-scale military campaign across the West Bank, raiding homes and kidnapping a number of Palestinian citizens on Sunday morning.

According to local sources, two Israeli occupation soldiers sustained injuries when the Palestinian resistance detonated an explosive device near the Tayaseer junction in Toubas.

Soon later, Israeli occupation forces stormed Toubas City and laid siege to it, amid raids on homes.

The Israeli occupation forces reportedly kidnapped at least three young men from the city, blocked its southern entrance with mounds of dirt and rocks, and bulldozed roads and infrastructure.

However, media reports said that several citizens were taken prisoner during the IOFs raid in Toubas.

Local sources reported that around 30 IOFs vehicles and two bulldozers, backed by reinforcements from the Tayaseer checkpoint, took part in what they described as the “most violent operation in months.”

For its part, Al-Quds Brigades in Toubas claimed responsibility for targeting the Israeli occupation forces with an explosive device.

The IOFs also kidnapped four citizens from Salfeet and five others, including a child, from different areas of Nablus province.

Meanwhile, the 'Hamas Movement has applauded the resistance operation that targeted an Israeli foot patrol in Toubas, saying the resistance in the West Bank will remain unbroken despite the Israeli attempts to neutralize it through repression, arrests and security measures.

“Our people’s will is stronger than all instruments of oppression and will not break in the face of tyranny and terror,” Hamas said in a statement on Sunday.

The Movement reiterated the Palestinian people’s “legitimate right to respond to the occupation’s escalating crimes, including killing, genocide, displacement, Judaization, and systematic settlement expansion.”

IOAR razes two Palestinian structures in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Sunday 19-October-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) demolished two structures in the Wadi Qaddoum neighborhood of Silwan district in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), while settlers attacked two Palestinian areas in the east of the holy city and in the south of Bethlehem.

According to Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) sources, the two facilities in Wadi Qaddoum belonged to Hani El-Salayima and were demolished under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

In another incident, a horde of extremist settlers attacked the Bedouin community of Khallet al-Sidra in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), blocked its main road and vandalized its water pipelines.

In Bethlehem, another group of settlers grazed their sheep on swaths of cultivated land and near homes belonging to Palestinian citizens living in the Khalayil El-Loaz of southern Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

Israeli occupation bulldozes land in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) neighborhood of El-Shaikh Jarra'h

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), October 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

Bulldozers of the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem bulldozed today a Palestinian-owned plot of land designated for displaying and selling cars near Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) neighborhood of El-Shaikh Jarra'h, according to local sources.

Sources reported that staff from the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem, accompanied by substantial units of Israeli police, stormed the site and carried out bulldozing operations across large areas of the land, in addition to destroying the exhibition’s equipment and facilities without prior notice.

The targeted land is located in a vital area along Street No. 1 and has been owned by a Jerusalemite family for decades. The Israeli authorities claim that the land is “unlicensed”, as part of their plan to expand colonial control around El-Shaikh Jarra'hh and Wadi El-Joaz areas.

This attack comes within the framework of an ongoing Israeli policy targeting Palestinian presence in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) through demolition orders, land seizures, and forced evictions for the benefit of colonial settlement projects, in an attempt to alter the Arab character of the holy city and displace its indigenous residents.

Palestinian detainee from Jineen refugee camp dies in Israeli custody

RAMALLAH, October 19, 2025 (WAFA) -

The Civil Affairs Commission has informed both the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) that Palestinian detainee Ma'hmoud Talal Abdullah has died at Israel’s Assaf Harofeh Hospital.

Palestinian detainee Mahmoud Talal Abdullah, 49, was detained by the Israeli occupation on February 1 of this year. Following his detention, his health condition deteriorated severely, and it was later confirmed that he was suffering from cancer. He was transferred from Megiddo Prison to Gilboa Prison and later to the Ramla Prison Clinic.

Despite medical examinations confirming that he had cancer in an advanced stage, the Israeli occupation refused to release him and kept him in detention until he died one day after being transferred to Assaf Harofeh Hospital.

Abdullah, from Jenin refugee camp, was a former prisoner who spent two years in Israeli jails following his detention during the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2002. Prior to his most recent detention, he was undergoing treatment for existing health conditions, but his re-detention prevented him from continuing his medical care.

The commission and PPS confirmed that Abdullah’s death adds to the series of crimes carried out by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian detainees, as part of its ongoing genocidal war.

They emphasized that testimonies from hundreds of former prisoners document systematic torture and abuse, which constitute crimes against humanity and war crimes, affirming that what occurs inside the prisons is part of the ongoing all-out genocidal war.

With Abdullah’s death, the number of prisoners and detainees who have died since the onset of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, and whose identities are known, has risen to 79.

It is important to note that dozens of detainees from Gaza remain subject to the crime of enforced disappearance.

This period has been the deadliest in the history of the Palestinian prisoner movement since 1967. As a result, the total number of Palestinian detainees who have died in Israeli prisons since 1967 has risen to 316, said the joint statement.

The Commission and PPS emphasized that the unprecedented rate of deaths among prisoners and detainees underscores that the Israeli prison system continues to implement a policy of slow killing. They stressed that not a month passes without a new death among prisoners and detainees, and with daily violations persisting in the prisons, the number of deaths is expected to rise as thousands remain held in conditions deprived of basic necessities and subjected to systematic, ongoing abuses, including torture, starvation, medical neglect, sexual violence and conditions that lead to severe and contagious diseases. In addition, there is an unprecedented level of deprivation and dispossession.

This is in addition to the field executions targeting dozens of prisoners and detainees. The statement added that the recently handed-over bodies following the ceasefire serve as clear and conclusive evidence of the extent of the crimes committed against numerous prisoners and detainees.

The Commission and PPS held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the death of Abdallah. They reiterated their calls for the international human rights community to take decisive action to hold Israeli officials accountable for the ongoing war crimes they are committing against the Palestinian people.

In a joint statement, they called for the imposition of sanctions to isolate Israel internationally and restore the role of the international human rights system, which has been severely undermined during the genocide. They also urged an end to the exceptional immunity Israel has been granted by colonial powers, which have allowed it to evade accountability and punishment.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian olive pickers east of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, October 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the armed illegal Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers this evening while they were picking olives in the village of El-Tayba, east of Ramallah, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA that a group of the armed illegal Israeli settlers assaulted farmers harvesting olives in lands located near residential homes, severely beating one farmer, before the Israeli occupation army intervened to secure the colonists’ withdrawal.

This attack comes amid a rise in colonist attacks on citizens and olive pickers across the West Bank, particularly in the governorates of Ramallah, Nablus, and Salfeet. The town of Turmus 'Ayya also witnessed a violent attack by colonists earlier today.

Palestinian farmers face an annual struggle to safeguard their lands and olive trees from colonist attacks, which intensify during the olive-harvesting season amid the protection and support provided to colonists by the Israeli army.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian farmers, torch cars in different W. Bank areas

Sunday 19-October-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Hordes of the armed illegal Israeli settlers launched multiple attacks on Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest season in several areas of the West Bank on Sunday.

According to local sources, a horde of the illegal Israeli settlers stormed swaths of cultivated land in the Wadi 'Ammar area in Turmus 'Ayya town, northeast of Ramallah, forced olive harvesters to leave their groves and set fire to two cars belonging to them.

During the settler attack, Israeli soldiers set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance of the town and searched passing cars.

A group of settlers also prevented Palestinian farmers from reaching their olive groves in El-Mughayir village, northeast of Ramallah, and stole their crops.

A similar settler attack happened in El-Batn area of Sinjil town, northeast of Ramallah.

In eastern Nablus, another group of settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Itamar attacked Palestinian olive groves in El-Rujeeb village and prevented farmers from finishing collecting their crops.

In western Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), a number of settlers torched Palestinian cars inside an auto repair shop owned by 'Ali El-Toas.

Local sources reported that a group of settlers infiltrated the area and set fire to the parked vehicles, resulting in their destruction and causing extensive material damage to the place.

Extremist settler groups living illegally in the West Bank launch intensive attacks on farmers and their lands during the olive harvest season every year.

Two Palestinians injured in an attack by the illegal Israeli settlers, in southern El-Khaleel (Hebron)

Sunday 19-October-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A Palestinian citizen and his wife suffered injuries on Saturday evening when a horde of armed illegal Israeli settlers assaulted them in southern El-Khaleel (Hebron), while other settlers attacked citizens and their property in the northern Jordan Valley.

According to local sources, a number of armed settlers from the illegal settlement of “Susya” attacked Palestinian farmers from the Nawaj'a family in the Ashkara area near the archaeological site of Khirbet Susya.

The settlers attacked them physically, resulting in injuries to Nabeel Nawaj'a and his wife, Ri'han Nawaj'a, who suffered injuries and contusions. They were subsequently transferred to Yatta Hospital for treatment.

The sources added that the settlers destroyed several olive trees and cut the barbed wire surrounding citizens’ lands in the area.

Another group of settlers reportedly stormed the hamlets of Khirbet Samra and Khallet Makhoul in the northern Jordan Valley in the evening. They carried out acts of provocation and bullying against the local residents, including chasing shepherds, attacking homes, and vandalizing property.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian young man sustained a bullet injury in al-Ram town, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), on Saturday when an Israeli police officer opened fire at him.

The Red Crescent said its paramedics provided a wounded young worker with first aid near the separation wall in al-Ram town before transporting him to the hospital.

Israeli occupation forces seal off entrances to several villages east and west of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, October 19, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces this evening sealed off the entrances to several villages and roads east of Ramallah, severely disrupting the movement of residents, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA that the Israeli occupation army closed the main entrance of the town of Dair Dibwan east of Ramallah with a military checkpoint at the western bridge, preventing vehicles from passing in both directions.

Forces also closed the entrances to Dair Jareer and Yabroud with dirt barriers and military checkpoints, forcing residents to use rough, alternative dirt roads to reach their homes.

The Israeli occupation forces also closed the road connecting several villages west of Ramallah, including the Jaryout road linking Baitunya with the western villages.

These measures come amid escalating attacks by colonists in the vicinity of Palestinian communities, particularly during the olive harvest season, as villages east of Ramallah have witnessed in recent days a widespread crackdown, including chasing farmers and preventing them from reaching their lands located near the colonies.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
