While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli drone strikes kill two brothers in southern Lebanon, injure seven others

RAMALLAH, November 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

Two brothers from the town of Shib'a in southern Lebanon were killed on Saturday morning when an Israeli drone targeted their vehicle on the road connecting 'Ain 'Ata to Shib'a, on the western slopes of Mount 'Hermon.

The strike caused the vehicle to burst in flames, killing them instantly, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.

Earlier today, seven people were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle in the city of Bint Jubail in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone carried out an airstrike on Saturday morning, firing two guided missiles at a vehicle near Sala'h Ghandour Hospital in Bint Jubail, in El-Nabatiya Governorate.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the airstrike resulted in injuries to seven civilians.

Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect in late November 2014, Israel has committed thousands of violations, resulting in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of Lebanese citizens.

This agreement ended an Israeli offensive against Lebanon that began in October 2023 and escalated into a full-blown war in September 2024, leaving more than 4,000 dead and over 17,000 wounded. Israel continues to occupy five Lebanese hills in the south, which it seized during the last war, in addition to other Lebanese territories it has occupied for decades.

WHO and UN warn of catastrophic humanitarian and health situation in Gaza

GAZA, November 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) have warned of an increasingly catastrophic health and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip amid ongoing closure of border crossings, continued siege, and the approaching winter.

WHO said that approximately 16,500 patients in Gaza are waiting for medical evacuation to receive treatment outside the besieged strip. The organization stated that medical supplies are ready and positioned at the border but remain blocked from entering due to the continued closure of crossings.

The agency called for the urgent reopening of the Rafa'h crossing and all other crossings, emphasizing that Rafa'h is the only viable route for medical evacuations and a critical entry point for life-saving medical supplies. WHO urged the international community to ensure unrestricted aid access and to enable more countries to receive patients for treatment.

Meanwhile, OCHA reported that hundreds of thousands of displaced families in Gaza are facing the beginning of winter without adequate shelter or basic protection from cold and rain. The office said that only 4% of Gaza’s agricultural land remains accessible and cultivable, due to extensive destruction caused by ongoing Israeli attacks, further increasing the risk of hunger.

UN: Despite ceasefire, Israeli restrictions continue to delay Gaza aid

Saturday 8-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Despite some progress in delivering food to Palestinians in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip, the population remains in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, the United Nations has affirmed.

The UN and its partners have been able to get 37,000 metric tons of aid, mostly food, into Gaza since the October 10 ceasefire, but much more is needed, UN spokesman Farhan Haq told reporters on Friday.

“Despite significant progress on the humanitarian scale-up, people’s urgent needs are still immense, with impediments not being lifted quickly enough since the ceasefire,” Haq said, citing reports from the UN’s humanitarian group, OCHA.

Haq highlighted that the entry of humanitarian supplies into Gaza continues to be limited to only two crossings of El-Qarara (Kissufim) and Karm Abu Salim crossings.

There is no direct access to northern Gaza from Israel or to southern Gaza from Egypt, while NGO staff are being denied entry into the territory, he said.

'Hamas urges International action against the Israeli settler violence in the West Bank

Saturday 8-November-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has condemned the surge in settler violence in the occupied West Bank, highlighting a recent UN report that documented over 260 attacks by the illegal Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their property during October alone.

In a statement on Saturday, 'Hamas said that the UN reported that 1,500 settler attacks had happened in the West Bank since the beginning of the current year.

According to Hamas, these UN figures offer clear evidence of a systematic policy of terror and abuse pursued by the Israeli occupation government against the Palestinian people.

'Hamas accused the Israeli government of seeking “to uproot the Palestinian people from their land and impose a racist settler regime based on domination and intimidation.”

“The deliberate and repeated targeting of agricultural lands during the olive harvest season is intended to put pressure on farmers, as part of the occupation’s wider strategy to displace the Palestinian people, expand settlements, and strengthen control over the West Bank,” Hamas underlined.

'Hamas called on the international community, the UN, and all concerned parties to shoulder their legal and moral responsibilities by condemning these violations and pressuring the Israeli government to curb settlers’ terrorism and organized assaults against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.

In a related context, senior Hamas official Abdul Ra'hman Shadeed denounced the violent settler assault on Palestinian farmers that occurred today in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

The settler attack left several civilians, paramedics, and journalists injured, including an Al Jazeera channel crew and foreign activists.

Shadeed said the incident confirmed further “the true nature of the Israeli occupation’s fascist policies, which target the Palestinian land and its people.”

The 'Hamas official highlighted that “the systematic targeting of agricultural areas, especially during the olive harvest season, reflects desperate attempts to uproot Palestinian farmers from their land and destroy their sources of livelihood.”

Türkiye issues arrest warrants for 37 Israelis, including Netanyahu, on genocide charges

Saturday 8-November-2025

ISTANBUL, (PIC)

The Turkish Public Prosecutor’s Office in Istanbul issued arrest warrants on Friday evening for 37 Israeli officials, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on charges of genocide, in a landmark legal step welcomed by the Hamas Movement.

According to Al Jazeera, the warrants also target Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, War Minister Israel Katz, and Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir for their role in the genocidal assault on Gaza.

The move comes as Israel continues its attacks on Gaza despite the ceasefire agreement. Since October 10, the Israeli occupation forces have committed around 200 violations of the ceasefire, killing and injuring dozens of Palestinians and demolishing numerous residential buildings.

In a statement, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, praised the Turkish prosecutor’s decision to issue arrest warrants for 37 “Zionist officials,” including Netanyahu and the current and former Israeli war ministers, Yoav Gallant and Israel Katz.

Hamas described the step as a “principled and courageous act” that reflects the Turkish people’s and leadership’s commitment to justice, humanity, and solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people, who continue to face what it called “the most horrific genocide in modern history” at the hands of the Israeli occupation’s fascist leaders.

The Movement urged all countries and international judicial bodies to follow Türkiye’s example by issuing legal warrants to pursue and prosecute Israeli war criminals for their crimes against humanity.

According to official Palestinian figures, Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza has left 68,865 Palestinians martyrs and 170,670 wounded, most of them children and women, while the United Nations estimates the cost of reconstruction of the beleaguered enclave at approximately $70 billion.

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian residents today in the area of Tal Ma'in, east of the town of Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Local anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra said that colonists from nearby outposts released their livestock onto land owned by the Makhamra family and physically assaulted the farmers while they were on their property.

Israeli forces later broke into the area, detained three Palestinians, including two brothers, and subjected them to further abuse following the attack by armed colonists.

After the soldiers released them, medical teams transferred one of the detained youths to a hospital for treatment. The remaining two brothers were treated in the field by Palestinian Red Crescent medics. Their injuries were described as ranging from moderate to minor.

The area where the assault occurred is among the areas most targeted by colonists in the occupied West Bank. Repeated attacks, alongside land seizures and the establishment of new outposts, have intensified pressures on Palestinian residents and their agricultural land.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian olive harvesters in Baita, injuring medics and activists

Saturday 8-November-2025

NABLUS, (PIC)

Several Palestinians, including paramedics and foreign volunteers, were injured on Saturday after Israeli settler militias attacked olive pickers in the town of Baita, south of Nablus in the West Bank.

Medical sources said the assault took place in the Jabal Qamas area, where settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces (IOF), targeted Palestinian farmers harvesting their olives. Among the injured were the head of the Red Crescent branch in Baita, journalist Raneen Sawafta, and a number of local and international activists who joined residents in the olive harvest.

For years, Baita has endured repeated raids, sieges, and violent attacks by the IOF and armed settler groups who exploit the IOFs aggression to commit more crimes against the town and its lands.

The town has become a symbol of popular resistance, witnessing continuous confrontations since settlers established illegal outposts on Jabal Subai'h and Jabal El-'Arma, sparking ongoing clashes with the local youth.

Earlier this year, Baita’s resistance fighters detonated an explosive device during one of the IOFs incursions, injuring two Israeli soldiers.

Since 2014, around 20 Palestinians have been martyred in Baita, including 12 people who were killed during the town’s defense of Jabal Subai'h since May 2021.

UN: Israeli settler attacks in the West Bank reach highest level in nearly 20 years

RAMALLAH, November 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

The United Nations reported that the illegal Israeli settlers carried out 264 attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank during October, the highest monthly figure in nearly 20 years.

UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq, speaking at a press conference, noted an unprecedented surge in attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinians in the West Bank, according to data from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

He added that OCHA recorded 264 attacks last month that resulted in Palestinian deaths, property damage, or both, emphasizing that this figure represents the highest monthly toll in nearly 20 years.

He further stressed that the total number of Israeli attacks against Palestinians since 2006 has reached 6,900, with approximately 15 percent, or about 1,500, occurring this year.

He stated that colonist violence has resulted in the displacement of 3,200 Palestinians from their land, the killing of many by gunfire, the injury of hundreds more, and the loss of livelihoods for many others.

The Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General confirmed that colonist attacks typically target Palestinian trees, vehicles, homes, and infrastructure.

He added that OCHA data also documented the killing of 42 children as a result of attacks by the occupation and colonists in the West Bank this year, representing one in every five Palestinians killed.

In its monthly report, the organization stated that colonist attacks resulted in the killing of Jihad Mu'hammed 'Ajaj, 26, from the town of Dair Jareer, who was shot dead by colonists. This brings the number of Palestinians killed by colonist gunfire since the beginning of 2025 to 14.

The report added that colonists carried out 352 acts of vandalism and theft against Palestinian property, affecting vast areas of land. Furthermore, settler attacks, aided by the Israeli army, resulted in the uprooting, destruction, and poisoning of 1,200 olive trees.

Palestinian Journalists Syndicate: Illegal Israeli settler attack on journalists in Baita constitutes a war crime

RAMALLAH, November 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate said today that the armed assault carried out by dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers against Palestinian journalists in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, constitutes a war crime aimed at killing members of the press and preventing them from documenting ongoing attacks.

According to the Syndicate, dozens of armed colonists stormed the town and directly targeted journalists who were covering developments in the area. The colonists fired live ammunition, physically assaulted the journalists, and attempted to destroy their equipment, in an attack described as deliberate and coordinated.

Five journalists were injured during the assault: Ranin Sawaftah, Mohammad Al-Atrash, Louay Saeed, Nasser Shtayeh, and Nael Buweitel. Medical teams provided treatment at the scene, and some of the journalists required further medical evaluation due to the severity of their injuries.

The Syndicate stressed that the attack is part of an escalating campaign of violence against Palestinian journalists in the occupied West Bank, particularly in areas where colonist activity is expanding. It warned that journalists are increasingly being targeted to silence coverage of land seizures, settler violence, and military operations.

The organization added that it is in direct contact with the International Federation of Journalists to push for urgent international intervention to protect Palestinian journalists, noting that they are being systematically targeted in violation of international humanitarian law.

It also stated that it will work with international legal organizations and courts to ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable.

Irish football body overwhelmingly backs call to suspend Israel from UEFA

DUBLIN, November 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has overwhelmingly approved a resolution calling for the immediate suspension of Israel from UEFA competitions over violations of UEFA statutes related to racism and the participation of Israeli clubs in occupied Palestinian territory.

During the FAI’s general assembly on Saturday, members voted 74 in favor, seven against, with two abstentions, to direct the association’s board to submit a formal motion to UEFA seeking Israel’s suspension.

The resolution argues that the Israeli Football Association has violated two core UEFA statutes: failing to enforce an effective antiracism policy and allowing Israeli clubs to play matches in occupied Palestinian territory without the consent of the Palestinian Football Association.

UEFA had previously considered a vote in October on Israel’s suspension amid global pressure over Israel’s military assault on Gaza, but the vote did not occur after a US-brokered ceasefire was announced on October 10.

The Irish move aligns with growing demands from football organizations and international bodies. In September, the heads of Turkey’s and Norway’s football federations publicly called for Israel’s suspension.

United Nations experts have also urged both FIFA and UEFA to take action, citing a UN Commission of Inquiry report accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.

In October, more than 30 international legal experts also called on UEFA to bar Israel and its clubs from participation in European football.

Solidarity rally in Auckland calls for boycott of Israeli products

Saturday 8-November-2025

AUKLAND, (PIC)

The New Zealand Palestine Solidarity Network organized a solidarity rally with the Palestinian people on Saturday in Henderson, west of Auckland, the country’s largest city and economic capital. The rally was followed by a march along Lincoln Road, calling for a boycott of Israeli products and companies complicit in the genocide in Gaza.

Participants carried signs reading: “Don’t buy Israeli goods, boycott apartheid, boycott Israel,” “Gaza under attack, don’t buy from McDonald’s,” “Boycott and sanction Israel, take action against the occupation… Rocket Lab profits from genocide and destruction,” “Freedom for Palestine,” “We are one, Freedom for Palestine,” “We all stand for Palestine,” “Freedom for Gaza now,” and “Stop the brutality.”

The demonstrators chanted slogans such as: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” “One: we are the people, two: we won’t stop, three: we’re returning soon, six: Israel is a terrorist state,” “I’m coming back, back to my land, to Jaffa, to Gaza, to Jerusalem, to Haifa, I swear I’m coming back,” “Sanctions now,” “There’s only one solution, revolution,” and “Liberation, liberation, intifada, intifada.”

Speakers at the rally, including former Minister and opposition Labor MP Phil Twyford, and Neil Scott, the Secretary-General of the New Zealand Palestine Solidarity Network, emphasized the importance of boycotting Israeli products and companies complicit in the genocide against Palestinians, such as Rocket Lab. They also urged the New Zealand government to impose sanctions on Israel for its war crimes and violations of international law.

The stage also hosted speeches by Sudanese New Zealand activists Fatima El-Sanousi and Raghda 'Hasan, who spoke about the massacres currently taking place in Sudan at the hands of the Rapid Support Forces, which they accused of committing war crimes and genocide in the Darfur region “with funding from the United Arab Emirates, which profits billions from Sudanese gold,” as they stated.

El-Sanousi and 'Hasan called on the New Zealand government to withdraw from “the free trade agreement it recently signed with the UAE, otherwise it will be complicit in the war crimes being funded in Sudan.”

Alongside the speeches, the demonstration included a fundraising campaign for victims in Gaza through the sale of Palestinian flags of various sizes, vests, medals, and stickers expressing solidarity with the people of Gaza.

Mahir Nazzal, co-chair of the New Zealand Palestine Solidarity Network, said that “today’s demonstration is part of the activities we have been organizing weekly for over two years to stand with Palestine and condemn the genocide committed by Israel.”

Meanwhile, Labor MP Phil Twyford, who previously held several ministerial portfolios, including immigration, transport, economic development, urban affairs, and housing, noted that “the Palestine solidarity movement is growing stronger day by day, supported by a majority of New Zealanders and all opposition parties.”

He added, “The main demand now is to impose trade and economic sanctions on Israel for its repeated violations of international law, including the crime of genocide in Gaza and the ongoing illegal occupation of Palestinian land.”

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
