While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Spain urges EU arms embargo on Israel and condemns silence over Gaza as complicity

MADRID, May 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Spain called for a European Union arms embargo on Israel and urged immediate action to halt the Israeli aggression in Gaza during the expanded ministerial meeting of the Madrid Group, held Sunday in the Spanish capital, Madrid.

The high-level meeting, attended by foreign ministers from key European and Arab nations, including Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Norway, Iceland, Slovenia, and Malta, focused on implementing the two-state solution and addressing the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Palestinian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Mustafa also participated in the talks.

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares warned that silence over Israel's ongoing killing of innocent Palestinian civilians amounts to complicity.

He called for the immediate suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement and urged stronger enforcement of arms restrictions on Israel.

Spain stated that it does not rule out any measures, including individual sanctions targeting Israeli politicians, emphasizing that Palestine must be granted the same rights as Israel. The only viable path forward, it stressed, remains the implementation of the two-state solution.

The Spanish Foreign Minister emphasized that punishing the Palestinian people indefinitely is unacceptable and asserted that the two-state solution is not opposed to Israel but serves to protect its security. He condemned the war as unjustifiable and described Israel’s actions as effectively turning Gaza into a vast graveyard.

Albares reiterated Spain’s commitment to ending the war, emphasizing that the goal is to halt the inhumane war. He condemned Israel’s continued killing of innocent civilians and warned that remaining silent amounts to complicity.

He also called on all UN member states to raise their voices against Israel’s blockade preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

The minister emphasized that the core priorities of the Madrid meeting were an immediate end to Israeli violence in Gaza, ensuring unrestricted and unconditional humanitarian access, and renewing momentum for the two-state solution.

PGMO: Israel took over 77 percent of Gaza through ethnic cleansing and genocide

Sunday 25-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) stated that the Israeli occupation army has imposed control over 77 percent of the Gaza Strip through ethnic cleansing, forced displacement, and systematic genocide.

In a statement on Sunday, PGMO said the Israeli army is, in effect, in control of 77 percent of the Gaza Strip, either through ground forces, evacuation orders, and intensive gunfire and bombardment that keep residents away from their homes.

“This pattern of coercive control, which is based on the use of brute force to forcibly empty the land of its indigenous inhabitants, constitutes a blatant violation of the international humanitarian law, particularly the four Geneva Conventions of 1949. It represents a systematic breach of the principles of public international law and international justice, including Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the forced transfer or mass displacement of civilian populations in occupied territories, as well as Article 7 of the Rome Statute, which criminalizes forced displacement as a crime against humanity, and the 1907 Hague Convention, which criminalizes altering the character of occupied land without clear military justification,” PGMO explained.

PGMO strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces for continuing to carry out plans of mass displacement, ethnic cleansing, systematic genocide, and forcible settler colonialism under the cover of siege and open warfare that targets both people and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.

PGMO held the Israeli occupation regime and the countries helping it in its genocide, especially the US, Britain, Germany and France, legally responsible for all the war crimes happening in Gaza.

PGMO warned of “the implications of the continued Israeli control over the vast majority of the Gaza Strip’s territory, which amounts to an attempt to impose a colonial fait accompli on the ground and forcibly reshape the demographic landscape.”

PGMO called upon the UN, the Security Council, the International Criminal Court, and special rapporteurs to promptly fulfill their legal and humanitarian obligations by taking decisive action to stop Israel’s war crimes in Gaza, launch independent and urgent international investigations, and ensure the prosecution of Israeli war criminals in international courts.

WFP warns: Gaza Strip still on the brink of famine

Sunday 25-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The World Food Program (WFP) warned on Sunday that Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip remain on the brink of famine, stressing the urgent need for a continuous daily flow of aid trucks into the besieged territory.

This warning came in a post by the UN program on platform X, at a time when the Gaza Strip continues to suffer from a catastrophic humanitarian and relief crisis since Israel closed the crossings on March 2.

The WFP said that “allowing aid into Gaza is only the first step,” adding that there must be the capacity to transport and distribute food within the Gaza Strip “safely and without delay.”

It emphasized that Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip are still on the verge of famine and reiterated the necessity of a sustained daily influx of aid trucks.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities and the United States have recently been promoting a plan to distribute aid at specific points in southern Gaza through an organization recently registered in Switzerland under the name “Gaza Relief Foundation.” Media reports indicate that its founder is US Presidential Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.

Israel’s army radio acknowledged that this plan aims to accelerate the evacuation of Palestinians from the northern areas of the Gaza Strip to the south, in preparation for their displacement in accordance with the plan of US President Donald Trump—a plan that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu now openly declares as one of the objectives of the war.

After taking office in January, Trump promoted a scheme to displace Palestinians from Gaza to neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan—a plan both countries strongly rejected. They were joined in their opposition by most other nations, including Arab and Islamic countries, as well as regional and international organizations.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel—fully backed by the United States—has been waging a genocidal war in Gaza that has left over 176,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.

Gaza death toll surges to 53,939 amid ongoing Israeli genocide

GAZA, May 25, 2025 (WAFA, PIC) –

During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of 35 civilians who were martyred in fresh Israeli attacks, along with the bodies of three other people who were reported missing in previous attacks.

Thus, at least 38 Palestinians were killed and 204 others were injured in the Gaza Strip, over the last 24 hours, as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the coastal Palestinian territory, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The Ministry confirmed that the Palestinian death toll, from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, has risen to 53,939 fatalities, with an additional 122,797 people sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

According to the Ministry, the death toll since Israel’s resumption of the genocide on March 18 after a two-month truce has also climbed to 3,785, in addition to 10,756 others injured.

Emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to target ambulance and civil defense crews, according to the health authorities.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues undeterred despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Number of journalist martyrs rises to 220 following the death of 'Hasan Abu Warda

Sunday 25-May-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) announced that the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 220 since the beginning of the genocide war on the Gaza Strip, following the announcement of the martyrdom of journalist 'Hasan Majdi Abu Warda, director of the “Barq Gaza” news agency.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the PGMO said that journalist Abu Warda was martyred along with several members of his family after the Israeli occupation army bombed their home in the Jabalya Al-Nazla area (north of the Gaza Strip).

The PGMO strongly condemned the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation army, and called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all media bodies across the world to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.

The Office held Israel, the US administration, and countries involved in the genocide—such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France—fully responsible for committing these heinous and brutal crimes.

It also called on the international community, international organizations, and media-related institutions worldwide to condemn the Israeli crimes, to deter and prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes, and to bring the Israeli criminals to justice. Furthermore, it urged them to exert serious and effective pressure to stop the genocide, protect journalists and media workers in the Gaza Strip, and put an end to their killing and assassination.

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Saturday that a child died of malnutrition and dehydration in Gaza City due to the Israeli starvation campaign against the population.

The child was identified as 4-year-old Mustafa Yaseen.

Two days ago, the Palestinian Health Minister, Majid Abu Ramadhan, said that 29 children and elderly people had died due to hunger-related causes in Gaza over the past two days, and that thousands of others are at risk of death for the same reasons.

Meanwhile, the World Food Program (WFP) said that over 70,000 children in Gaza face acute levels of malnutrition.

“WFP is taking every opportunity to deliver food and nutrition assistance – but this is just a drop in the bucket.”

“To avert famine and save lives, we need immediate, unrestricted and safe access to deliver,” WFP added.

Over 390 of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Aqsa Mosque

Sunday 25-May-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Sunday morning, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to local sources, at least 393 settlers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and provocatively toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers in the eastern area of the Mosque.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

Illegal Israeli settlers attempt to establish four new settlement outposts in West Bank

RAMALLAH, May 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Wall and Colonization Resistance Commission reported today that it has documented four attempts by the illegal Israeli settlers to establish new Israeli settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank in the past 24 hours.

According to Ameer Dawood, Director of Documentation and Publication at the Commission, three of the attempts took place in the Ramallah and Al-Beereh Governorate, specifically on lands belonging to the towns of Dair Jareer, Al-Mughayyir, and 'Ain Areek.

The fourth attempt was reported in the Shallal Al-'Auja area near Aree'ha (Jericho), east of the West Bank.

The Commission noted a surge in similar activity last month. In April, the illegal Israeli settlers attempted to establish at least nine new outposts, most of which were agricultural or pastoral in nature.

According to the Commission’s monthly report, these April outpost attempts included three in the Ramallah and Al-Beereh Governorate, two in Salfeet, and one each in the governorates of Jericho, Hebron, Tubas, and Nablus.

These makeshift settlements, often agricultural or pastoral in nature, are typically erected by the illegal Israeli settlers on Palestinian land without official government authorization—though many are later retroactively legalized by Israeli authorities.

Under international law, all Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank are considered illegal, a position reaffirmed by numerous United Nations resolutions. However, Israel continues to expand its settlement enterprise, a policy widely seen as a major obstacle to any future peace agreement.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian citizens, homes in W. Bank

Sunday 25-May-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Different West Bank areas witnessed a series of attacks and violations by the illegal Israeli settlers  on Sunday morning, as part of ongoing Israeli escalation against Palestinian citizens and their property.

According to local sources, a horde of settlers assaulted and injured a shepherd as he was grazing his sheep in the Wadi Ra'hila area near Khirbet Al-Rakiz hamlet in Masafir Yatta, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

Another group of the illegal Israeli settlers bulldozed swaths of Palestinian land near Al-Mughayyir village in northern Ramallah with the aim of establishing a new illegal outpost.

Earlier at dawn, armed settlers burned a house in Bruqeen village, west of Salfeet, and injured two citizens with the help of Israeli soldiers.

Local sources reported that armed settlers stormed the village, attacking houses and burning one of them following an attempt to set fire to other homes

The Red Crescent said that two local young men were injured in the settler attack on the village, including one who was struck by an Israeli military jeep.

For about two weeks, Bruqeen villagers have been facing wide and growing attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers, amid a tight military blockade on the village.

Illegal Israeli settlers  intensify attacks across West Bank, target Turmus 'Ayya town near Ramallah

Saturday 24-May-2025

WEST BANK (PIC)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers , backed by Israeli occupation forces (IOFs), escalated their attacks across the West Bank on Saturday, launching a violent assault on the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that armed settlers targeted homes on the eastern outskirts of the town, opening fire on residents who attempted to defend their properties.

IOFs later stormed Turmus 'Ayya following the settlers’ assault, though no kidnappings were reported.

In a separate attack earlier in the day, settlers set fire to approximately 40 dunums of wheat fields in the town of Sebestya, northwest of Nablus. The arson was carried out by settlers from the Shavei Shomron settlement and newly established outposts in the surrounding area.

The scorched farmland belongs to local residents: Mu'hammed Basil Muhaibish and Mufeed Rasheed Shihab.

These attacks are part of a broader pattern of intensifying settler violence, which has seen a sharp increase over the past month. Settlers have repeatedly targeted Palestinian homes, agricultural lands, and infrastructure, while also seizing plots of land for the expansion of illegal settlement projects—all under the protection of IOFs.

The latest wave of assaults comes amid Israel’s ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, drawing growing international condemnation and calls for accountability.

The World Food Programme (WFP) warned on Sunday that Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip remain on the brink of starvation, underscoring the urgent need for a continuous, daily, and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid into the besieged enclave.

In a post on its official account on X, the UN agency stressed that the humanitarian and relief crisis in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels, particularly since Israel sealed off all crossings on March 2.

“Letting aid in is the first step — we need a sustained, daily flow of trucks, the WFP said.

Ahead of provocative flag march, Israeli forces deploy barriers around Damascus Gate

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), May 25, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces deployed metal barricades around Damascus Gate, the main entrance to Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)’s Old City, on Sunday afternoon in preparation for securing the provocative “Flag March” planned by Israeli colonists for Monday.

The march is set to begin at Al-Buraq Square and pass through Damascus Gate and Al-Wad Street, which are densely populated by Palestinians in the Old City.

The Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate warned of a potential escalation in the city, as Israeli authorities proceed with a series of colonist-led events aimed at asserting Israeli sovereignty over Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and entrenching the occupation, in clear violation of international law and relevant UN resolutions.

In a recent statement, the Governorate stressed that this annual march is part of a systematic, provocative agenda, often accompanied by assaults on Palestinian residents, racist chants against Muslims and Christians, and heavy police protection. A full closure of the area is expected to begin at 12:30 p.m. local time on Monday.

The frequency of extremist colonists’ incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque has sharply increased since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7.

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
