While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Hamas announces martyrdom of politburo member Sala'h El-Bardaweel

Sunday 23-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, announced on Sunday the martyrdom of Dr. Sala'h El-Bardaweel, a member of the Movement’s political bureau and a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council.

'Hamas stated in a press release that the leader El-Bardawee “ascended to the ranks of martyrs in a treacherous Zionist assassination while he was in prayer on the night of the 23rd of Ramadhan in his tent in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younus, alongside his virtuous wife, during an Israeli airstrike targeting western Khan Younus (on Saturday night), part of a series of brutal massacres committed by the enemy against our patient and steadfast people in the Gaza Strip.”

It added that martyr Dr. Sala'h El-Bardaweel was a prominent figure in political, media, and national work, a symbol of honesty, steadfastness, and sacrifice, who never faltered in his duties or stances in the fields of jihad and serving the Palestine cause. “He remained steadfast on the path of resistance until he attained the honor of martyrdom on one of the most beloved nights to Allah.”

'Hamas finally affirmed that Sala'h El-Bardaweel’s blood, along with that of his wife and all the noble martyrs, “will serve as the fuel for the battle of liberation and return, and this criminal enemy will not weaken our resolve or steadfastness. With each martyr that falls, the flame of resistance burns brighter until the occupation is removed.”

Repeat ceasefire violations

Israeli occupation forces launched a series of airstrikes targeting several towns in the region earlier this morning.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center stated that two citizens were injured in the border town of Kfar Kila due to Israeli shelling.

Our correspondent also noted Israeli raids on the outskirts of Rashaya Al-Fukhar, al-Khiam, and the area between Yatar and Bait Lif. Despite earlier shelling, a cautious calm prevailed in the targeted areas, with Al-Khiyam's outskirts continuing to be subjected to Israeli artillery.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army reported seizing three primitive missile launchers in the area north of the Litani River, between Kfar Tibneet and Arnoun, in Al-Nabatiya Governorate.

In response, Israeli media reported that five rockets were fired from Lebanon toward the settlement of Metulla in the Upper Al-Jaleel, triggering air raid sirens in the area. They also noted that interceptor missiles were launched against air targets in the north, and the Israeli army was assessing what was intercepted.

PGMO: Gaza on the brink of humanitarian catastrophe amid ongoing genocide and international silence

Sunday 23-March-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza has warned that the Gaza Strip is on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe amid ongoing genocide and international silence.

In a statement on Sunday, the PGMO said, “In light of the continued genocide and aggression carried out by the brutal Israeli occupation army on the Gaza Strip, more than 2.4 million Palestinians are facing an unprecedented humanitarian disaster. The Israeli occupation continues to implement a policy of genocide and daily killings against unarmed civilians, targeting people, property, structures, and agricultural land without any deterrent from the international community.”

It emphasized that the occupation’s insistence on closing the crossings leading to and from the Gaza Strip and preventing humanitarian aid from entering deepens the worsening crisis.

The statement noted that the occupation forces are preventing trucks carrying food and medicine from entering, leading to increased rates of hunger and malnutrition, especially among over a million children and the elderly.

Additionally, the occupation continues its policy of water deprivation and the destruction of water wells, making it difficult for civilians to access water, resulting in a suffocating water crisis that threatens the lives of the Palestinian people, amidst a lack of safe drinking water and the spread of diseases due to pollution and the absence of basic health services, PGMO elaborated.

In a scene reflecting the Israeli occupation’s approach to killing civilian life, the prohibition on the entry of cooking gas and fuel in general into the Gaza Strip continues, causing bakeries and vital facilities to cease operations and paralyzing the transportation sector. This has rendered movement within the Strip nearly impossible and increased the suffering of patients and the wounded who need to reach hospitals and medical centers, according to the Office.

It said, “We are facing a compounded humanitarian disaster, the severity of which escalates with the continuation of this suffocating siege, amidst shameful international and Arab silence that encourages the occupation to proceed with its criminal policies without deterrent.”

The Office called on the international community to bear its legal and moral responsibilities and to take immediate action to stop these crimes being carried out by the Israeli occupation with impunity.

It also demanded the urgent opening of crossings to allow humanitarian aid to enter and save the lives of innocents facing slow death in the Gaza Strip.

The statement held Israel and the U.S. administration fully responsible for these ongoing crimes against civilians, and urged all countries in the world to pressure Israel to stop these crimes, open the crossings, and allow aid to enter immediately before it is too late.

Dozens killed and injured in continued Israeli airstrikes on Khan Younus and Rafah

Khan Younus, March 23, 2025 (WAFA) –

Dozens of innocent civilians were killed this morning in a series of continued Israeli airstrikes on Rafa'h and Khan Younus, in the southern Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll across the enclave since the early hours of the day to 30, according to medical sources.

WAFA correspondents reported three Palestinians were killed and several others injured when Israeli forces struck a vehicle east of Khan Younus.

In another attack, a citizen was killed in an Israeli drone strike on the Al-Nasr neighborhood, north of Rafa'h. Meanwhile, two more people were killed in an Israeli  bombardment targeting displaced people in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood to the west of the city.

Additionally, several others sustained injuries after Israeli occupation forces hit a house belonging to the Sha'ath family in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of northern Rafa'h.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery continues to shell farmland in the Abu Safiya area, east of Jabalya, in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as areas in nearby Bait 'Hanoun.

Since Israel’s resumption of its genocidal war on Gaza early Tuesday morning, the ongoing assault has resulted in nearly 600 people killed and over a thousand injured by Thursday evening, with 70% of the casualties being women, children, and elderly.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 49,747 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 113,213 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

IOFs launch raid and kidnapping campaign in the West Bank

Sunday 23-March-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched overnight and at dawn Sunday a campaign of raids and kidnappings across the West Bank.

In Qalqilya, the IOFs kidnapped five citizens from the city after storming their homes, searching them and tampering with their contents, according to local sources.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the city at dawn Sunday from its eastern entrance, and deployed in several neighborhoods, including Kafr Saba and Al-Qaraan.

Israeli military continues its wide-scale aggression on Toulkarm for 56th day

GAZA, March 23, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation military continues its wide-scale assault on the city of Toulkarm and its refugee camp for the 56th consecutive day, and for the 43rd day on Nour Shams refugee camp to the east, amid escalating forced evacuations, repeated incursions, and widespread destruction of infrastructure.

This morning, Israeli forces forced residents of ten homes in the Al-Rabayaa neighborhood of the Toulkarm refugee camp to leave their homes, giving them until 10:30 AM to leave. This comes after yesterday's forced evacuations in the Al-Muqataa neighborhood, where the Israeli military seized the homes and converted them into military outposts, triggering a wave of displacement among the residents.

This escalation is part of the ongoing forced displacement campaign targeting neighborhoods on the outskirts of the camp, including Qaqoun, Abu Foul, Murabba’at Hanoon, Al-Hadida, Al-Matar, Al-Muqataa, and Al- Rabayaa. The residents of these areas were coerced into leaving through threats and intimidation, causing more than 12,000 refugees to flee their homes, leaving the camp nearly empty.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces have ramped up their military presence in both Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, subjecting the areas to a strict siege. They have deployed additional military vehicles, bulldozers, and infantry units into the neighborhoods, which are experiencing extensive damage to their infrastructure. Key roads have been blocked with rubble and dirt barriers.

Israeli bulldozers have also demolished part of the Employee Housing Street in the Iktaba district, east of Toulkarm, particularly the section near Nour Shams camp, causing significant damage to the local infrastructure and the water supply network.

Moreover, the Israeli military has seized over eight residential buildings in the northern district of the camp, adjacent to Nablus Street. These buildings, which house dozens of apartments, were taken over by the Israeli forces, and their residents were forcibly evicted. The area has now been designated a closed military zone.

The ongoing Israeli assault on Toulkarm and its camps has led to the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have been injured or detained, and more than 24,000 people have been displaced from both the Toulkarm and Nour Shams camps, in addition to the numerous families forced to flee from the northern neighborhoods of the city.

The continued military assault has resulted in widespread destruction, including the demolition of homes, businesses, and vehicles, many of which have been either completely or partially destroyed, burned, looted, or damaged. The entrances to both refugee camps and their alleyways have been blocked by dirt mounds, further isolating the population.

Israel continues its wide-scale offensive in Jineen for 62nd consecutive day

Jineen, March 23, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces are continuing their wide-scale assault on the city of Jineen and its refugee camp for the 62nd consecutive day, with ongoing demolition and burning of homes by the Israeli troops, and the conversion of others into military posts.

The wide-scale assault, which has been focused on the Jineen refugee camp, has resulted in the displacement of around 21,000 people, who are now seeking refuge across Jenin city and nearby villages. Since the start of the aggression, 34 Palestinians have been killed, dozens injured, and many more detained.

Estimates indicate that approximately 230 Palestinians from the governorate have been detained since the beginning of the assault. Over the last few hours, the occupation forces have pushed additional military reinforcements into the Jineen refugee camp, accompanied by bulldozers.

Extensive land leveling operations are being carried out to widen roads and create new pathways within the camp, while sounds of gunfire continue to be heard around the camp. Troops are also maintaining a consistent presence within the camp and its surrounding neighborhoods.

According to the Jineen Municipality, 100% of the streets in the refugee camp and several streets in the city of Jenin have been destroyed by Israeli forces. Additionally, 3,200 homes in the refugee camp have been abandoned due to the ongoing offensive.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
