While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

B’Tselem official: Israel escalating apartheid and forced displacement in West Bank

RAMALLAH, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

The field director of the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem warned on Monday that violence by Israeli forces and  colonists in the occupied West Bank is escalating, as part of what he described as a deliberate strategy to displace Palestinians.

Kareem Jubran, Director of Field Research at B’Tselem, said in an interview with Voice of Palestine Radio that the situation on the ground is deteriorating day by day, particularly in Area C, where the majority of land is under full Israeli control.

Jubran said that the increasing frequency and brutality of colonist attacks—often carried out under the protection or cooperation of Israeli soldiers—reflects a broader Israeli policy aimed at emptying Palestinian communities from strategic areas.

He called for increased support for Palestinian communities facing this ongoing campaign, urging the international community and civil society to reinforce Palestinian resilience and presence on the land.

Doctors Without Borders: US-backed Gaza aid system is ‘inhumane,’ fuels civilian deaths

Monday 2-June-2025

PARIS, (PIC)

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has condemned the US-supported aid distribution mechanism in Gaza—backed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF)—as “dangerous” and “far from meeting humanitarian standards,” warning that the approach is fueling further civilian deaths rather than alleviating suffering.

In a statement released Sunday, MSF emergency coordinator Claire Manera described the situation as a humanitarian failure.

“The killing of dozens of Palestinians and the wounding of hundreds while they waited for food near distribution centers reveals the cruelty and ineffectiveness of this new system,” she said.

“Humanitarian aid must be delivered solely through organizations with the expertise and willingness to ensure safe, effective delivery. What we are seeing now is the opposite—avoidable deaths and suffering”, the MSF emergency coordinator added.

MSF teams working at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younus, southern Gaza, reported treating numerous patients with life-threatening injuries on Sunday, many of them suffering from gunshot wounds. Blood supplies at the hospital were so depleted that doctors were forced to donate their own blood to save lives, the statement added.

Survivors told MSF that they had been fired upon “from all sides”—by IOF-operated drones, helicopters, naval vessels, tanks, and ground troops—while attempting to access desperately needed food aid.

MSF media officer Nour Al-Sakka described the grim reality inside the hospital: “The corridors were overflowing with patients.”

She added that “Unlike before, where the wounded were mostly women and children, today the majority were men. They lay in the hallways, bloodied and broken. They had gone out to find food for their children and came back wounded—some with nothing in their hands, others never returned at all.”

She explained that while treating patients, the hospital received devastating news: the brother of one MSF staff member had been shot and killed while trying to collect aid.

According to the Gaza’s Government Media Office, at least 52 Palestinians have been martyred and 340 wounded near distribution sites since May 27.

The fatalities occurred in so-called “buffer zones” in southern Gaza, where the Israeli and US-backed “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” had begun distributing aid outside the oversight of the United Nations or international relief organizations.

The distribution points, often located in high-risk areas, have become sites of chaos and carnage, with Israeli forces firing on large crowds of starving civilians. The plan—promoted as a lifeline—has instead repeatedly failed, triggering deadly stampedes, gunfire, and logistical breakdowns.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with full US support, has been waging a genocide in Gaza. More than 178,000 Palestinians have been killed or wounded, most of them women and children. Over 11,000 remain missing, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced as IOF attacks continue to devastate civilian infrastructure.

PPS: 47 Palestinian detained women in Israeli prisons face systemic torture and abuse

Monday 2-June-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) reported on Monday that 47 Palestinian detained women, including a child and two pregnant women, are currently held in Israeli prisons, where they are subjected to ongoing and systematic abuse by Israeli occupation forces (IOFs).

According to the PPS, the detained women face a range of escalating violations, including torture, starvation, strip searches, denial of medical care, and confinement in inhumane conditions. These abuses have intensified significantly since the beginning of Israel’s genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023.

“The Israeli occupation has transformed the detention of Palestinian women into a campaign of targeted repression,” the PPS stated. “What we are witnessing is not a series of isolated incidents but a systemic policy of degrading, punishing, and breaking Palestinian female prisoners”, it added.

Among the 47 women currently in detention are students, teachers, sisters of martyrs and prisoners, two women who are five months pregnant, and one child. The majority of them are held on charges of “incitement,” while eight women are imprisoned under administrative detention—without charge or trial—based on undisclosed “secret files.”

PPS highlighted that the number of female detainees has increased recently following a temporary drop after the last prisoner exchange deal. Since the start of the genocide, at least 545 Palestinian women have been arrested by IOF soldiers across the occupied territories.

These prison abuses mirror the wider pattern of violence inflicted on Palestinians throughout the occupied territories.

Since October 7, Israel—with full and unconditional support from the United States—has waged a genocidal war in Gaza, killing or wounding more than 178,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children. Over 11,000 remain missing under the rubble.

Meanwhile, in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces and settler attacks have killed at least 972 Palestinians and injured approximately 7,000 others, according to Palestinian health officials.

Human rights organizations continue to condemn Israeli treatment of Palestinian prisoners, particularly women and children, as clear violations of international humanitarian law.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime orders expulsion of displaced Palestinians from Khan Younus

GAZA, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation occupation apartheid regime, on Monday, evening ordered the expulsion of displaced Palestinians from Khan Younus in the southern war-torn Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

They said that the occupation army issued a warning in a post on X (formerly Twitter), instructing residents in blocs 47, 106, 108, and 109 in western Khan Younus to move immediately towards Al-Mawasi zone in the southern Strip, which the military has previously designated as a “humanitarian area”.

Despite being labeled as a so-called “safe zone”, Al-Mawasi  has been repeatedly targeted by Israeli forces.

The area is currently home to thousands of displaced Palestinian families who have sought refuge from ongoing Israeli air and ground assaults.

Since Israel sealed off the border crossings with Gaza on March 2, the Gaza Strip has been suffering a catastrophic humanitarian and relief disaster as well as a harsh famine, with 1.5 million out of 2.2 million homeless.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians.

The death toll reached at least 4,201 with 12,652 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 52 slain Palestinians, including a body retrieved from the rubble, and 503 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals, noting that these numbers exclude hospitals in the northern Strip.

The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 54,470 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 124,693 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

41% of kidney failure patients in Gaza died following destruction of dialysis centers

Monday 2-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has reported that 41% of kidney failure patients have died since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, due to widespread destruction of dialysis centers, forced displacement, and denial of critical medical care.

In a statement issued Monday, the Ministry confirmed that Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) deliberately targeted and destroyed the Noura Al-Ka'bi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza, a major facility that had served patients suffering from end-stage renal disease. The destruction, it said, is part of a broader effort by the IOF to systematically dismantle Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure, particularly in the northern areas.

“This is a disaster with unimaginable consequences,” the Ministry warned, adding that Israel is executing a deliberate strategy to eliminate specialized care facilities and hospitals in northern Gaza.

According to a human rights report by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), 472 kidney failure patients—41% of the total 1,200 adults undergoing dialysis—have died as a direct result of the genocide.

The report, dated May 20, cited the repeated displacement of patients and a drastic reduction in dialysis sessions—from 12 hours per week to just 4 hours—as key contributors to the soaring death toll.

The destruction has left only 62 dialysis machines in partial operation across the Strip, following the IOF’s demolition of 78 out of 140 total machines. This has effectively cut dialysis services in half.

At present, just four centers remain partially functional: Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City (serving 280 patients), Al-Zawyida Field Hospital (50 patients), Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis (260 patients), and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h (138 patients). All are operating under severe conditions with extreme shortages of essential medicines and supplies.

The PCHR report notes that six of the seven dialysis centers in Gaza have either been heavily damaged or completely shut down. The worst impact has been seen in the Gaza and north governorates, where most of the fatalities occurred following IOFs assaults on medical infrastructure.

Gaza’s kidney patients are grouped into three categories:

End-stage renal failure patients – 1,200 individuals require dialysis three times weekly, with each session lasting four hours. Kidney transplant recipients – Around 400 patients depend on lifelong immunosuppressive therapy. Patients with chronic or genetic kidney conditions – These individuals also require immunosuppressive medication and regular care.

Dialysis services account for nearly 45% of all kidney-related medical care in Gaza. The sharp collapse of this essential service underscores the devastating human cost of the ongoing genocide and the IOF’s targeting of civilian infrastructure.

Hospitals receive over 52 martyrs, death toll climbs to 54,470

Monday 2-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC, WAFA)

Over the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of at least 52 martyrs, including one recovered from the debris, as well as 503 of people suffering from different injuries following Israeli attacks.

Since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025, over 4,201 people have been killed and about 12,652 others have been injured, according to Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Monday.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to over 54,470 martyrs. The number of the wounded also surged to about 124,693 people.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

Israel’s aid massacres in Gaza claim 52 lives and leave 340 injured

Monday 2-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army committed a new massacre today when its forces killed three starving civilians and injured 35 others near the US-Israeli aid distribution center in Rafa'h, southern Gaza.

The PGMO condemned the attack as part of a systematic starvation campaign targeting vulnerable Palestinians seeking humanitarian aid.

PGMO said that following today’s attack on aid seekers, the death toll from the recent Israeli massacres at the aid distribution centers in Rafa'h and near the Wadi Gaza Bridge has climbed to 52 martyrs, with the number of wounded reaching 340.

For its part, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) strongly condemned on Sunday “the mass killings committed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) near two aid distribution points in southern and central Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing and injury of dozens of starving Palestinians who had gathered in search of aid, only to find themselves exposed to direct and lethal gunfire.”

“This heinous crime is part of a series of ongoing attacks targeting Palestinians as they attempt to access humanitarian aid. It cannot be comprehended as an isolated or miscalculated incident; rather, it is part of an organized and systematic Israeli policy. Under this policy, the IOF seeks first to starve the civilian population and then humiliate and kill them as they struggle for survival,” PCHR said.

“According to information obtained by PCHR’s staff, thousands of Palestinians gather daily near the aid distribution points established by the IOF, operated by the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), and secured by a private US security company. Despite the large number of people gathering at these points, the available aid parcels are often limited and sufficient for only dozens or a few hundred individuals. Aid is distributed without relying on pre-registered beneficiary lists or following any organized mechanism, rendering the process chaotic and disordered. This exacerbates the suffering of the desperate crowds, which may number in the thousands, who soon find themselves exposed to Israeli gunfire in the area,” a statement released by PCHR explained.

“These developments on the ground give further evidence that this aid distribution mechanism is utterly ineffective. Despite the chaos it has inflicted and the consistent pattern of daily casualties and injuries, IOF insists on maintaining this deadly system. It has also failed to provide aid to Gaza’s starving population and its distribution points have turned instead into sites of death, humiliation, and dehumanization of Palestinian civilians, who have endured months of unprecedented levels of deliberate starvation,” PCHR elaborated.

PCHR emphasized that “the current aid distribution system has even failed to meet the bare minimum humanitarian standards. It relies on an ineffective and chaotic mechanism; according to which, insufficient food supplies enter into dangerous areas under the Israeli fire control and then thousands of starving civilians are called to come under extremely dangerous conditions only having 3 choices: to be killed by snipers or in airstrikes, to return empty-handed with no food or to take part in a humiliating fight with tens of other starving civilians to obtain a food parcel that does not even suffice for one day.”

PCHR affirmed that “maintaining this deadly and degrading aid distribution mechanism, despite recurring massacres, unequivocally exposes that Israel’s intent is not the provision of humanitarian aid but rather the systematic use of aid as a method of slow extermination and collective humiliation.”

Dozens of civilians killed, injured in ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza

Monday 2-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued last night and on Monday to carry out deadly attacks in different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

Since dawn today, at least 27 Palestinians have been reportedly martyred in Israeli attacks in different area of the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli strike that killed two civilians and injured others in the south of Dair El-Bala'h City in central Gaza.

Another citizen was martyred when an Israeli airstrike targeted a bicycle in 'Hamad City in the northwest of Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

The Israeli army also bombed a building in Al-Najjar street in Jabalya, north of Gaza, killing a woman and injuring other citizens.

16 civilians were also martyred and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the family of Al-Bursh in Jabalya, north of Gaza.

An Israeli drone reportedly dropped a bomb near the Sidra junction in 'Abasan al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younus in southern Gaza, killing one civilian.

The Israeli occupation forces also opened fire at aid seekers near a US distribution point in western Rafa'h, killing three of them and injuring 35 others.

Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks.

The Israeli occupation army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Several Palestinian civilians killed, as Israeli airstrikes target homes across Gaza

GAZA, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Ongoing Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Monday have killed and wounded scores of civilians, with children and women making up the majority of the casualties, according to local sources.

Israeli fighter jets conducted an Israeli strike on the Al-Bursh family home on Old Gaza Street in Jabalya, killing 16 people and injuring several others.

Meanwhile, five people were killed in an airstrike that hit the Al-Sammouni family home in the Mus'ab Bin 'Umair area of Gaza City's Zaytoun neighborhood. Rescue workers say several individuals remain missing beneath the rubble.

In southern Gaza, an Israeli drone strike killed one person in the Al-Sikka area of central Khan Younus. Another civilian was shot and killed near an aid distribution center in western Rafa'h.

The latest attacks come amid a broader Israeli military campaign that began on October 7, 2023, and has since killed 54,470 Palestinians and injured 124,693. The actual toll is expected to be higher, as many remain buried under debris or unreachable due to ongoing strikes.

Israeli strike kills two civilians, injures others south of Dair El-Bala'h

GAZA, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

An Israeli strike on Monday evening killed two civilians and injured others in Umm Zaheer area, south of Dair El-Bala'h, in the central Gaza Strip, according to a medical source in the Nasser Medical Complex.

He said that a fatality was transported to the medical complex.

The fatality, a civilian, was killed in a strike by an Israeli combat drone that targeted the Umm Zaheer area.

Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets targeted an apartment in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younus, claiming the life of a civilian and injuring others.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians.

UN, Gaza health officials warn of “deadly trap” as Israel turns aid distribution into tool of genocide

Monday 2-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Top UN and Palestinian health officials are warning that the new Israeli-controlled aid distribution system in Gaza is being used as a “deadly trap,” turning humanitarian relief into a weapon of genocide and forced displacement amid Israel’s ongoing onslaught on the besieged enclave.

Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA), condemned the new Israeli aid mechanism, calling it a “deadly trap” that threatens the lives of starving Palestinians, urging Israel to lift its crippling blockade and grant the UN safe and unrestricted access to deliver and distribute aid.

“The only way to avert mass starvation—including among one million children—is to allow the United Nations to do its job,” Lazzarini said, demanding that international media be granted access to Gaza to independently document the ongoing atrocities.

Echoing these concerns, Dr. Muneer Al-Bursh, Director General of the Gaza Ministry of Health, warned that aid distribution points have been transformed into killing zones by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), who are using them as tools for population control and forced displacement.

On Sunday, the IOF alongside personnel from an American private security firm, carried out a massacre in Rafa'h, killing at least 32 Palestinians and injuring over 200 others who had gathered to receive aid.

A separate attack near the Netzarim corridor left another Palestinian dead and 30 wounded. Both assaults targeted civilians desperately seeking food and water.

Dr. Al-Bursh decried the continued blockade of approximately 3,000 aid trucks stranded in Egypt’s Al-Arish, laden with critical medical supplies.

He warned that the health crisis in Gaza is escalating due to the deliberate withholding of medicine and vaccines, which is fueling outbreaks of infectious diseases such as meningitis and severe diarrhea.

Water insecurity has also reached catastrophic levels, with 90% of the population lacking access to safe drinking water.

“These massacres are not isolated incidents—they are part of a broader campaign of genocide,” Al-Bursh said, criticizing the international community’s silence in the face of Israel’s aggression.

Since October 7, 2023, more than 178,000 Palestinians have been killed or wounded in Gaza, most of them women and children. Over 11,000 remain missing and hundreds of thousands are displaced, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza.

The UN has accused Israel of using starvation as a weapon of war by shutting down all crossings for 90 consecutive days.

On May 27, Israel began implementing a new aid distribution scheme under the so-called “Gaza Relief Foundation,” an entity backed by both Israel and the US and rejected by the UN.

Aid under this plan is funneled through buffer zones in southern Gaza, where the IOF soldiers have repeatedly opened fire on civilians amid chaotic scenes of mass desperation.

The quantities distributed are minimal, grossly inadequate for the more than two million Palestinians suffering from acute hunger. UN officials have warned that bypassing international agencies in aid distribution is not only ineffective—it is enabling further war crimes.

Despite mounting global outrage, Israel continues to enjoy unconditional support from the United States, shielding it from accountability as it carries out one of the most devastating genocidal campaigns in modern history.

Israeli forces shoot, injure minor near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening shot and injured a Palestinian minor near the Sinjil town, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.

They said that the occupying forces opened fire at a Palestinian minor in the northern part of the town, injuring him.

They added that the gun-toting soldiers broke into a Palestinian’s house in the area and deleted the recordings of the surveillance cameras that captured the shooting.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap two Palestinians from northern West Bank village

Jineen, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces, on Monday evening, kidnapped two Palestinians from Misilyah, south of the occupied West Bank city of Jineen, according to a local source.

'Imad Abul Rub, Mayor of Misilyah, said that a convoy of army vehicles stormed the village, where the soldiers broke into several houses, conducted thorough searches, and rounded up two brothers.

In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) governorate, the Israeli occupation forces stormed several houses and stores in Beer Nabala town, and tampered with their contents.

In the predawn and morning hours, the occupying forces conducted a raid in the Dura city, south of Hebron, and ransacked their houses, turning them upside down.

In the Nablus governorate, the sources confirmed a raid in Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiyya village, where the soldiers seized two vehicles.

According to the latest figures from Al-Dhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 10,100 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 400 child prisoners and 35 female prisoners.

This number includes approximately 3,577 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Al-Dhameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel; this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one.

Hundreds of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque

Monday 2-June-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Monday morning and later in the afternoon to mark the Shavuot holiday, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to Al-Qastal News, at least 985 settlers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and provocatively toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers in the eastern area of the Mosque.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

Illegal Israeli settlers use drones to intimidate shepherds in West Bank village

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of illegal Israeli settlers launched drones toward Palestinian shepherds in the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), on Monday, sparking fear among residents and threatening the village’s primary source of livelihood, according to local officials.

Zayid Kawazba, head of the Al-Minya village council, said the colonists flew the unmanned drones directly over herders as they grazed their livestock near the village. “This is a direct threat to both the shepherds and their animals,” he said.

Al-Minya is a small Palestinian village that depends heavily on livestock herding, with approximately 5,000 sheep and goats forming the backbone of its local economy.

Kawazba described the drone incident as part of a broader pattern of colonist intimidation, which includes chasing shepherds off their grazing land, assaulting them, and in some cases, stealing livestock. “

He called on international human rights organizations to step in and provide protection for the residents.

Illegal Israeli settlers storm southern West Bank village

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of illegal Israeli settlers, on Monday evening, stormed the village of Khalayil Al-Loaz, southeast of the occupied West Bank city of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), according to security sources.

They said that colonists barged their way into Khalayil Al-Loaz, also known as Khalayil Al-Loaz, and gathered near a villager’s house, spreading panic.

The village has become the target of frequent assaults by the illegal Israeli settlers and the Israeli occupation forces, the most recent of which was the demolition of a house and a sheep barn.

The settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

The settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million of the illegal Israeli settlers are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.

A Palestinian forced to demolish his own house in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) neighborhood

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime, on Monday, forced a Palestinian to demolish his own house in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) neighborhood of Bait 'Haneena, according to a family.

Al-Hasheem family told WAFA that the occupation forces and municipal staff stormed their house in Bait 'Haneena, and coerced them into tearing it down, leaving 11 people homeless.

he was forced by the occupation authorities to tear down his 100-square-meter house, purportedly for being built without a license, leaving his seven-member family homeless.

According to Ir Amim organization, the occupation authorities scored a record number in home demolitions in East Jerusalem in May 2025, tearing down 33 homes; 16 apartments and 17 non-residential structures.

Using the pretext of illegal building, Israel demolishes houses regularly to restrict Palestinian expansion in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

At the same time, the occupation municipality and government build tens of thousands of housing units in illegal colonies in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) for Jews to offset the demographic balance in favor of the Jewish colonists in the occupied city.

Although Palestinians in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), a part of the internationally recognized Palestinian Territory that has been subject to Israeli military occupation since 1967, they are denied their citizenship rights and are instead classified only as "residents" whose permits can be revoked if they move away from the city for more than a few years.

They are also discriminated against in all aspects of life including housing, employment and services, and are unable to access services in the West Bank due to the construction of Israel's separation wall.

According to a report by the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem, the Israeli occupation High Court could be liable for war crimes for their policies that led to the dispossession of Palestinians from their properties in Area C of the West Bank.

The report, Fake Justice, shows that the court’s support of Israeli planning policy is tantamount to support for dispossession and forcible transfer of Palestinians, a war crime under international law.

Israeli group reports May as record month for demolitions in east Jerusalem since start of 2025

TEL AVIV, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) -

The Israeli human rights organization, Ir Amim, reported that May witnessed the highest number of demolitions by Israeli authorities in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) since the beginning of 2025.

In a statement released today, the organization reported that May recorded the highest number of demolitions in 2025 to date, with a total of 33 buildings demolished, including 16 residential units and 17 non-residential structures.

It further stated that the total number of demolitions in East Jerusalem since the start of the year has reached 93, comprising 53 residential units and 40 non-residential structures.

According to the organization's figures, 23 buildings were demolished in January, 15 in February, 14 in March, eight in April, and 33 in May.

Palestinian, Israeli, and international human rights organizations have reported that Israel issues a limited number of building permits to Palestinians in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) each year, while simultaneously approving a significant increase in construction permits for Israeli colonies established on East Jerusalem land.

Israel has been intensifying its efforts to consolidate control over the West Bank through policies of demolition, displacement, and settlement expansion—actions widely considered illegal under international law and condemned by numerous United Nations resolutions.

According to the settlement watch group Peace Now, there are currently 156 settlements and 224 colonial outposts in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, housing approximately 736,000 Israeli colonists.

German Chancellor calls on Israel to allow aid into Gaza

BERLIN, June 2, 2025 (WAFA) –

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Wednesday called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to allow more emergency aid to reach the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip.

German government spokesman Stefan Cornelius said that Merz said it is imperative that Israel immediately allow sufficient humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

Merz has recently hardened his rhetoric toward the Israeli government, questioning its military strategy in light of the catastrophic conditions in the Gaza Strip due to the strict Israeli blockade on the entry of food, medicine, and fuel, amid UN confirmations of a famine spreading throughout the Strip.

UNRWA: Over 50,000 children killed or injured in Gaza since start of Israeli genocide

Monday 2-June-2025

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has reported that more than 50,000 children have been killed or injured in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, marking one of the deadliest tolls on children in modern conflict history.

In a statement issued Monday, UNRWA said that civilians—including children, humanitarian workers, medical staff, and journalists—are being killed and injured on a daily basis amid unrelenting bombardment and ground assaults by Israeli occupation forces (IOF).

The UN agency described the ongoing situation as a catastrophe that continues to claim young lives at a staggering pace.

The report came shortly after the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) sounded the alarm over the escalating toll on children in Gaza. Edouard Beigbeder, UNICEF’s Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, confirmed that over 50,000 children have been killed or wounded since the onset of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023.

“The past 72 hours alone revealed the unbearable cost of this war on children,” Beigbeder said, citing horrific images captured over the weekend, including the burned and dismembered bodies of the al-Najjar family’s children, recovered from beneath the rubble of their home in Khan Yunis. Of the ten siblings under the age of 12, only one survived—with serious injuries.

“These are unimaginable atrocities,” Beigbeder said, adding that “One picture shows a young child blown apart, trapped inside a burning school in Gaza City following an airstrike that killed at least 31 people—including 18 children.”

He emphasized that Gaza’s children “must never be reduced to statistics,” yet their names continue to be added to a growing list of grave violations, which include direct killings and maiming, denial of humanitarian aid, starvation, forced displacement, and the destruction of critical infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, homes, and sanitation systems.

According to UNICEF, since the collapse of the ceasefire on March 18, at least 1,309 children have been killed and 3,738 others injured in ongoing Israeli attacks.

Despite repeated international calls for a ceasefire and the protection of civilians, Israel—backed unconditionally by the United States—continues its military campaign against Gaza.

The genocide has left over 178,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, with more than 11,000 still missing, many believed to be buried under the rubble, while entire neighborhoods have been leveled, and the majority of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents have been forcibly displaced.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
