By July 3, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 70,537+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (57,130) and those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,407+). 

By July 3, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 135,173.

By July 3, 2025, according to news report, 992 Palestinians who were killed, 6,911 who were injured, and 12,559*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. Gaza: Hospitals receive 118 martyrs, death toll climbs to 57,130

During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of at least 118 civilians, as well as 581 people suffering from different injuries following Israeli attacks, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Thursday morning.

Accordingly, a total of 6,572 people have been killed and 23,132 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 57,130 martyrs, including 652 aid seekers who were killed at or near US-backed distribution points, the Health Ministry said.

The Ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 135,173 people, including 4,537 aid seekers.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

92 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza since dawn, including 45 waiting for aid

GAZA, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) –

The death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since dawn today has risen to 92 Palestinians, medical sources confirmed on Thursday evening. Among the victims are 45 people who were killed while waiting for humanitarian aid.

In one of the most devastating incidents of the day, at least seven civilians were killed and dozens injured—many critically—when Israeli forces targeted a crowd gathered near the Ta'hliya area in eastern Khan Younus, in southern Gaza. 

Earlier, 13 people were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza City and Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza. According to WAFA correspondent, four civilians were killed when an Israeli drone strike hit a civilian vehicle near the Al-17 roundabout west of Dair El-Bala'h.

In another airstrike, four Palestinians were killed and several wounded in the Al-Ghafari neighborhood on Yafa Street, east of Gaza City. The victims have been identified as Mohammad Sa'eed Ghazal, Amjad Khaleel Al-Bahteeni, and Mu'hammed Khaleel Al-Bahteeni.

Additionally, one person was killed and several injured in Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the eastern part of Gaza City.

In the central Gaza Strip, four more civilians were killed and others wounded in a strike on the 'Aa-idoun  refugee camp for displaced persons in Al-Buraij. The scene was described as horrific, with bodies reported to be dismembered and severely burned.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 57,130 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 135,173 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Three Palestinian former detainees killed in Israeli strike in Gaza

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem),, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) –

Three Palestinian former prisoners deported to the Gaza Strip were killed at dawn on Thursday as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate said that former prisoner Bassam Abu Sunayna, from Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), was killed as a result of an Israeli genocidal air strike in an area of ​​the Gaza Strip. He was one of the Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) detainees forcibly deported to Gaza by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, in 2011.

The same sources added that former prisoners Ayman Abu Dawood and Mahdi Shawer, both from Al-Khaleel (Hebron), were also killed during the violent Israeli shelling that targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip last night.

The three slain detainees are among the former prisoners who spent many years in Israeli prisons and were released as part of the 2011 prisoner exchange deal.

They were forcibly deported to the Gaza Strip as part of the policy of collective punishment and forced exile pursued by the Israeli occupation authorities.

The Ministry of Health announced in its latest statistics that 142 citizens had been killed, including three whose bodies were recovered, and 487 others injured, over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of fatalities since October 7, 2023, to 57,012, and the number of injured to 134,592.

At least 19 Palestinians, including football player, killed in intense Israeli strikes in Gaza

GAZA, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) – 

At least 19 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Thursday as Israeli forces carried out a series of intense airstrikes and live-fire attacks across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

In Rafa'h, southern Gaza, seven people were killed, with 30 reported wounded following heavy Israeli airstrikes on Al-Shakoush area, northwest of the city.

In Khan Younus, Israeli warplanes targeted Al-Batn Al-Sameen area in the southern part of the city with multiple airstrikes, though casualty figures from the strike are still being verified.

In central Gaza, six Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli soldiers near an aid distribution center north of the province, as residents gathered to collect much-needed humanitarian supplies.

The victims also included Muhannad Abu Layya, a player for the Khadmat Al-Maghazi football club, who succumbed to wounds sustained in a previous Israeli airstrike on his home in Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

In Gaza City, three civilians were killed and others injured when Israeli jets bombed a residential apartment in the Qasr Al-Meena building in the western part of the city. Additional strikes on Al-Zaytoun and Al-Tuffa'h neighborhoods in eastern Gaza claimed the lives of three more Palestinians and wounded several others, including children. Some of the injured were rushed to Ahli Hospital, following a strike near Salahuddeen Mosque, in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

In northern Gaza, Israeli aircraft bombed a crowd of civilians near the 'Halawa roundabout in Jabalya town, killing two people and injuring several others.

13 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza and Dair El-Bala'h

GAZA, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) -

At least 13 Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Thursday following a series of Israeli air and artillery strikes targeting areas in Gaza City and Dair El-Bala'h.

According to WAFA correspondents, four civilians were killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle near the Al-17 Roundabout in western Dair El-Bala'h.

In a separate incident, four more Palestinians were killed and several injured after Israeli reconnaissance aircraft struck the Al-Ghafari neighborhood on the Yafa Street in eastern Gaza City. The victims were identified as Mu'hammed Sa'eed Ghazal, Amjad Khaleel Al-Bahteeni, and Mu'hammed Khaleel Al-Bahteeni. The identity of the fourth victim remains unknown at this time.

Seven Palestinians killed, dozens injured in Israeli attack on aid seekers in Khan Younus

At least seven Palestinians were killed and dozens more wounded, many critically, after Israeli occupation forces targeted civilians waiting for humanitarian aid in Khan Younus, southern Gaza Strip, on Thursday.

According to eyewitnesses and local reports, the attack occurred near the desalination area east of Khan Younus, where a crowd had gathered in hopes of receiving urgently needed supplies.

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip confirmed that the death toll from Israeli fire on aid seekers has risen to 45 since the early hours of Thursday morning. Hospitals in the region have been overwhelmed with casualties, with many of the wounded in critical condition.

Palestinian football star Muhannad Abu Layya killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza

GAZA, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Football Association has announced the killing of Muhannad Abu Layya, a prominent footballer and star player for Khadamat Al-Maghazi Club, following injuries sustained in an Israeli airstrike targeting his home in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

According to the Association, the Israeli attack occurred last Monday, when a drone launched a missile that struck Muhannad’s third-floor bedroom. The strike caused severe head trauma and a major skull hemorrhage. Despite days of medical struggle, he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday morning.

Muhannad began his football career with Khadamat Al-Maghazi, rising through the youth ranks to eventually lead the senior team to the Palestinian Premier League in the 2016/2017 season. He later transferred to Shabab Jabalya, where he played two seasons and helped the team achieve runner-up in the 2018/2019 Premier League campaign.

He subsequently joined Gaza Sports Club, but a cruciate ligament injury sidelined him for a period. He made his return to the field through his original club, Khadamat Al-Maghazi.

During the ongoing Israeli genocidal onslaught on Gaza, Muhannad had attempted to leave the besieged enclave to reunite with his wife, who had traveled to Norway for work shortly before the war erupted. He was unable to secure safe passage and, tragically, never had the chance to meet his newborn son, who was born abroad during the conflict.

Muhannad's killing brings the total number of Palestinian sports figures killed by the Israeli occupation since October 2023 to 585, according to the Palestinian Football Association. Among them, 265 were members of the football community.

Palestine TV journalist injured by Israeli drone fire in Gaza

GAZA, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) –

Palestine TV journalist Islam Al-Za'noun was injured on Thursday after being directly targeted by Israeli drone fire while covering the developments in the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation.

Al-Za'noun, a correspondent for Palestine TV, sustained a gunshot wound to her shoulder after an Israeli drone opened fire on her during her media coverage in the field.

In response, the Palestinian Official Media strongly condemned the deliberate Israeli attack on press freedom and journalists, labeling the incident as a "new crime" to a long-standing record of Israeli violations against Palestinian media professionals.

Minister Ahmed 'Assaf, the General Supervisor of Palestinian Official Media, denounced the attack, stating that the assault is part of a broader campaign by the occupation to silence the truth and suppress the Palestinian narrative, especially through targeting official media outlets that expose the crimes committed against our people.

'Assaf praised Al-Za'noun and her fellow journalists for their dedication, noting that such risks are the price Palestinian reporters pay for fulfilling their professional and national duty. :This will only strengthen our resolve to continue delivering our message," he said.

He also called on international organizations concerned with press freedom and human rights to take immediate action to protect Palestinian journalists and hold Israel accountable for repeated attacks on media personnel.

Over 300 killed in 48 hours as IOFs bomb Gaza schools, shelters, and civilians

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) have intensified their genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, killing more than 300 Palestinians and wounding hundreds more in a wave of indiscriminate airstrikes over the past 48 hours, according to the Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza.

Among the deadliest attacks was a massacre at dawn Thursday, when IOFs warplanes targeted the Mustafa Hafez School in Gaza City, a shelter for displaced civilians. Sixteen people were killed in the strike, with dozens more injured and rushed to Al-Shifa Hospital.

Thirteen of the victims belonged to a single family, the 'Hajila family. Eyewitnesses reported that many of the bodies were burned beyond recognition, with remains scattered across the bombed site.

A Palestinian mother who survived the attack recounted the horror of the Israeli bombing, describing a scene of chaos, destruction, and screams as families who had sought refuge in the school were torn apart.

This massacre was one of 26 others carried out by IOFs in the past two days alone. According to PGMO, these attacks have systematically targeted displacement shelters, crowded public rest areas, family homes, markets, and civilians searching for food—locations filled with women, children, and unarmed individuals.

“The Israeli occupation continues to pursue a clear policy of genocide and ethnic cleansing,” the PGMO stated, emphasizing that the overwhelming majority of victims are women and children. “These crimes are not random—they are deliberate,” it added.

The statement also warned that the IOFs are simultaneously attempting to ruin Gaza’s already devastated healthcare system, by bombing hospitals, targeting medical staff, and obstructing the delivery of critical supplies.

PGMO held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the ongoing and systematic war crimes. It urged the international community and humanitarian organizations to take urgent action to halt the attacks, stop the genocide, and protect the more than two million civilians trapped in Gaza under siege and fire.

Palestinian man killed by Israeli occupation forces near Toulkarm

Toulkarm, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening near the Nour Shams refugee camp, located east of the city of Toulkarm in the northern West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the victim was identified as Waleed 'Hasan Sa'd Budair, 61 years old. He was fatally shot by the Israeli occupation soldiers, in the vicinity of the Nour Shams refugee camp camp, in Toulkarm.

This latest incident comes amid the ongoing Israeli military offensive on Toulkarm city and its refugee camps, which has been going on for 158 consecutive days.

With Bdeir's killing, the number of Palestinians killed in Toulkarm since the start of the offensive has risen to 14, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant. The Israeli campaign has also resulted in massive displacement of thousands of people, as well as widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, businesses, and vehicles.

 IOFs kidnap several Palestinian citizens in West Bank raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Thursday.

According to local source, the IOFs kidnapped at dawn 21 citizens, including six high school students, following raids on homes in Dair Istya town, northwest of Salfeet.

In Tulkarem, the IOFs kidnapped eight citizens, including one high school student, after ransacking several homes in the city’s Shuwaika suburb.

In Toubas, two young men were taken prisoners during an IOFs raid in the city.

In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces kidnapped activist Zainab Abu Zaid from Baitounya town and a young man from Dair Al-Sudan village.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), one citizen was reportedly injured by IOFs gunfire near 'Ush Al-Ghurab area, east of Bait Sa'hour City.

Armed illegal israeli settlers also opened fire at Palestinian homes in the towns of Kisan and Al-Maniya, east of Baitl La'hm (Bethlehem). Luckily, no one was hurt in the shooting attack.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the IOFs kidnapped five citizens from their homes and another one from his home in 'Hal'houl town to pressure his son to turn himself in.

Israeli forces also raided a house and confiscated a car in Bait Ummar town, northwest of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

Palestinian female detainee faces severe health deterioration in an Israeli occupation regime prison

RAMALLAH, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The Palestinian Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported Thursday that Palestinian detainee Fidaa 'Assaf, currently held in Damon Prison, is experiencing a severe deterioration in her health as her cancer worsens under harsh and inhumane detention conditions.

According to the Commission, which cited a lawyer’s recent visit, 'Assaf’s illness had been stable prior to her detention, but recent medical tests revealed a dangerous increase in tumor markers, pointing to a direct negative impact of the prison environment on her health.

'Assaf described dire living conditions inside Damon Prison, where female detainees are denied basic rights, including access to essential hygiene products and personal care items, alongside a severe shortage of clothing and restrictions on purchasing supplies from the prison canteen.

Detainees were recently denied access to outdoor time altogether, before authorities allowed them just 15 minutes daily in the prison yard. They remain completely isolated from the outside world, particularly under the ongoing state of emergency, which has blocked family and lawyer visits.

'Assaf added that there are currently 42 female prisoners in Damon, who are subjected to frequent night raids and cell searches, further undermining their psychological well-being.

Among them are two pregnant women, Zahraa Kawazba and Do'aa Badawi, both in their seventh month of pregnancy, who lack the most basic medical care, food, and rest, and intentional medical neglect.

'Assaf was arrested on February 24, 2025, while returning from Ramallah Medical Complex after undergoing medical examinations. During her detention, she was reportedly subjected to repeated strip searches, verbal abuse, and held in an infested, filthy cell without water or food for several days.

'Assaf, is a mother from the town of Kafr Laqeef in Qalqilya governorate.

A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers, under military protection, stormed last night a house and wreaked havoc on its contents in 'Arab Al-Mulai'hat village, northwest of Aree'ha (Jericho), after forcing its residents to leave it under threat.

According to al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, a group of settlers escorted by soldiers broke into the house of Sulayman Mousa and embarked on damaging the furniture and personal belongings.

General supervisor of the organization 'Hasan Mulai'hat said the incident occurred after Mousa and his family endured a series of persistent threats and assaults by settlers in recent days, ultimately compelling them to abandon their home for the sake of their own safety.

He called what happened to the family a blatant violation of international law, particularly Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits forced displacement.

Illegal Israeli settlers set up two illegal outposts in southern Nablus

A horde of the illegal Israeli settlers established two new illegal outposts on swaths of land belonging to the town of 'Aqraba in southern Nablus as part of ongoing Israeli efforts to expand settlement activity in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported on Thursday that the first outpost was set up in the Khirbet at-Tawil area in the east of the town, where settlers placed several mobile homes and tents and embarked on leveling and bulldozing the area around them.

The second outpost was set up in the southern area of 'Aqraba on swaths of agricultural land owned by Palestinian citizens.

The Israeli occupation government has accelerated settlement construction in recent years, but since the start of its genocidal war on Gaza, it has escalated house demolitions and land seizures across the occupied Palestinian territories, displacing scores of Palestinians families.

Jewish settlers wreak havoc on trees, beehives in a West Bank town

A horde of extremist Jewish settlers went on the rampage through vast tracts of Palestinian-owned agricultural land, destroying dozens of trees and beehives in Kafr Al-Deek town, west of Salfeet in the occupied West Bank, on Wednesday.

According to local sources, a group of settlers chopped off and uprooted dozens of olive and almond trees and grapevines and wreaked havoc on about 50 beehives in the Dthahr Sub'h area of the town.

These swaths of cultivated land belong to two brothers from the family of Al-Deek.

The occupied West Bank has been seeing a serious escalation in Israeli crimes for long months, with Jewish settlers carrying out systematic attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property, and establishing new settlement outposts, especially in agricultural and grazing areas.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime ordered 22 Palestinian families to vacate their homes in the Um Tuba neighborhood of Sur Baher, south of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), by July 7.

According to Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate, the eviction orders target families residing in the Al-Mashahid area of Um Touba, adjacent to the illegal Har Homa colony, which is built on Palestinian land in Jabal Abu Ghunaim.

Local resident Yousuf Abu Tair, one of those affected, said that the Israeli court issued the order, giving him and 21 other families—comprising approximately 180 Palestinian residents—until July 7 to evacuate their homes.

Abu Tair affirmed his and affected residents deep rejection over this unjust decision, emphasizing that they will not leave their land and or ancestral homes.

Israeli occupation forces on Thursday briefly detained a group of foreign activists in the village of Umm Al-Khair, located in the Masafir Yatta area south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to local sources.

The incident occurred as Israeli soldiers, accompanied by colonists, stopped the activists while they were documenting ongoing assaults against local Palestinian residents. Witnesses reported that several of the detained individuals were forced to sit on the ground under the sun for an extended period.

The activists were in the area to show solidarity with the local community, which has faced repeated settler violence and threats of displacement.

OIC condemns statements by Israeli officials on imposing "sovereignty" over the West Bank

JEDDAH, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the racist statements by officials in the Israeli occupation government calling for annexing and imposing the alleged Israeli "sovereignty" over the occupied West Bank. It considered that a flagrant violation of the resolutions of the international legitimacy and international law with a view to undermining international efforts geared toward a two-state solution. 

The OIC warned of the dangerousness of such statements and continued incitement pursued by the Israeli occupation's leaders and extremist settlers against the Palestinian people as well as their land and sanctities. 

The OIC reiterated its call for the international community to recognize the State of Palestine, endorse its full membership at the United Nations, and take the required measures to end occupation and illegal settlement of the occupied Palestinian territories pursuant to the relevant UN resolutions and the advisory opinion by the International Court of Justice.

UN Human Rights Council discusses human rights situation in occupied Palestinian Territory

GENEVA, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) —

The United Nations Human Rights Council convened on Thursday as part of its 59th session to discuss Item 7 on its agenda: the human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territory.

During the session, Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, presented her latest report titled “From the Economy of Occupation to the Economy of Genocide.” The report examines how the Israeli occupation has evolved into a transnational profit-driven system rooted in military, artificial intelligence, and digital surveillance industries.

Albanese characterized this system as a form of “racist settler-colonial capitalism,” which, she said, perpetuates the ongoing Nakba through a combination of market mechanisms and military power. She emphasized that the impunity enjoyed by the occupying power, along with international complicity, has enabled the expansion of illegal settlements and continued human rights violations.

Ambassador Ibrahim Khraishi, Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva, thanked the Special Rapporteur for her professionalism and courage amid threats and criticism. He asserted that “those who support a genocidal regime are the true opponents of human values, not those who expose its crimes.”

Khraishi stressed that the new report builds on last year’s findings and provides a comprehensive analysis of how the occupation’s economic network functions as a system of genocide, supported by global partnerships in weapons manufacturing and surveillance technologies. 

He noted that more than 200,000 Palestinians have been killed, injured, or gone missing in the last 20 months, most of them women and children. Nearly two million people have been forcibly displaced from their homes in Gaza, with widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure.

Calling on the international community to act, Khraishi urged an end to all forms of military and economic support for the occupation, the cessation of cooperation with illegal settlements, and full implementation of international law, including Article 146 of the Fourth Geneva Convention and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

He underscored the need for accountability and justice for war crimes, affirming that the Palestinian people remain steadfast in their homeland and committed to their national rights.

The session was attended by numerous international and regional organizations and representatives of various countries. Many expressed support for the mandate of the Special Rapporteur and emphasized the importance of upholding international law, ensuring justice and accountability, and working toward a comprehensive and just solution, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Participants also called for an immediate ceasefire and unimpeded access for humanitarian aid.

In her concluding remarks, Albanese reiterated that the Israeli occupation's reliance on what she termed “racist settler-colonial capitalism” enables the continued reproduction of the Nakba. She called for the suspension of economic partnerships with the occupation and the prosecution of those responsible for crimes of genocide.

UN chief appalled by worsening Gaza crisis as civilians face displacement, aid blockades

The UN Secretary-General is “appalled” by the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, as civilians face yet another wave of mass displacement with few safe places to go.

Multiple Israeli attacks in recent days have killed and injured scores of Palestinians at sites hosting displaced people and others attempting to access essential supplies, according to a statement from UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric on Thursday.

“The Secretary-General strongly condemns the loss of civilian life,” Mr. Dujarric said.

On just one day this week, nearly 30,000 people were forced to flee under new Israeli relocation orders, with no safe place to go and clearly inadequate supplies of shelter, food, medicine or water, he added.

With no fuel having entered Gaza in over 17 weeks, the UN chief is also “gravely concerned that the last lifelines for survival are being cut off.”

“Without an urgent influx of fuel, incubators will shut down, ambulances will be unable to reach the injured and sick, and water cannot be purified,” Mr. Dujarric said.

“The delivery by the United Nations and partners of what little of our lifesaving humanitarian aid is left in Gaza will also grind to a halt.”

The Secretary-General reiterated his call for safe and sustained humanitarian access so aid can reach people in desperate need.

WHO calls for providing Gaza with fuel to save crumbling health system

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the health system in the Gaza Strip is facing the risk of a complete shutdown without fuel, calling for its immediate entry into the territory.

“No fuel has entered Gaza for over 120 days. This has crippled humanitarian operations, including support to healthcare, pushing hospitals closer to collapse,” WHO said in social media remarks on Wednesday.

“Amid relentless bombardment and a surge in injuries, hospitals are struggling to sustain even the most basic life-saving services,” WHO added.

WHO pointed out that it “currently has minimal fuel reserves in northern and southern Gaza, barely enough to keep 17 partially functional hospitals running for a short period.”

“A limited quantity of UN fuel reserves is in an area that is currently inaccessible. Without fuel, Gaza’s health system risks grinding to a halt,” WHO said.

UN: 85 percent of Gazans are facing Israeli forced displacement orders

The UN has said that Israel has issued a new “forced displacement” order in neighborhoods home to 80,000 people in Khan Younus City, south of Gaza.

“About 85 percent of Gaza’s land is currently under evacuation orders or lies within military zones, which gravely obstructs people’s access to essential humanitarian aid and hampers relief workers’ ability to reach those in need.” Stephane Dujarric, the spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, told a news conference on Wednesday.

Dujarric reported that roughly 714,000 Palestinians had been forcibly displaced one time or more in Gaza since the collapse of the ceasefire in March.

He pointed out that despite hundreds of thousands of newly displaced persons, no shelter assistance has been allowed into Gaza for four months.

He explained that UN partner surveys indicate 97 percent of the displaced are sleeping outdoors.

These evacuation warnings to Palestinians in various parts of Gaza coincide with renewed calls by Israeli officials for mass displacement—most recently by Energy Minister Eli Cohen, who urged vigorous implementation of a plan to relocate Gaza’s population.
