While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Hundreds of Gaza detainees remain victims of the crime of enforced disappearance - Prisoners' institutions

RAMALLAH, January 29, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) reported that, in addition to the 1,886 Palestinians classified as "illegal combatants" by the Israeli prison administration, hundreds more continue to fall victim to the crime of enforced disappearance.

The Commission and PPS said the only available information regarding the number of detainees from Gaza, as acknowledged by the Israeli prison administration in early January 2025, indicates that there are 1,886 Palestinians classified as "illegal combatants," including women and children. Additionally, hundreds remain victims of the crime of enforced disappearance.

To be noted, the number of detainees from Gaza is estimated to be in the thousands following the Israeli genocidal war, as the occupation continues to carry out systematic torture against Gaza's detainees at an unprecedented level, resulting in the killing of dozens of detainees.

The Commission and PPS published a list of 69 detainees from the Gaza Strip, who were detained after October 7, 2023, and are held in Israeli prisons and military camps.

In a joint statement, they clarified that the list includes the locations of detainees within Israeli prisons and camps. Many detainees remain unaccounted for, with no information regarding their whereabouts.

Efforts will continue to verify their status a month after the last response, which, according to the Israeli army, stated that no information was available regarding their fate.

Furthermore, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped the injured man while he was being transported by medical staff to the Martyr Thabit Thabit Governmental Hospital.

Earlier in the day, two citizens were injured by Israeli occupation forces snipers in the refugee camp. A 54-year-old man suffered shrapnel wounds to the head from live ammunition, while another 52-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The two men were transported to the hospital by PRCS ambulances.

Over the past three days, the ongoing Israeli aggression against Tulkarem city and camp has resulted in injuries to 15 citizens.

These injuries, primarily concentrated in the lower limbs, were caused by occupation bullets and shrapnel.

Significantly, a child was severely injured by a live bullet to the chest in the western neighborhood of the city and was transferred to hospitals in Nablus for further medical treatment.

The Israeli occupation forces have imposed a full siege on the martyr Thabit Thabit Government Hospital and Al-Israa Specialty Hospital, turning the surrounding areas into closed military zones and seizing homes to convert into military barracks.

They have also distributed threatening leaflets in the hospitals' emergency areas, hindered ambulance operations, and conducted body searches and identity checks on staff and patients.

For the third day in a row, Israeli occupation forces continue wide-scale military offensive on Toulkarm

Toulkarm, January, 29 2024 (WAFA) –

For the third day in a raw, the Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on the city and camp of Tulkarm, causing widespread destruction to the infrastructure and citizens' property.

A short while ago, a young man was shot in the head by the occupation snipers in the 'Hanoun Square neighborhood in Toulkarm refugee camp, where citizens are calling for the need to bring an ambulance to take him to the hospital, as he is lying on the ground bleeding, while the occupation forces are preventing ambulances from entering the camp.

The occupation forces have pushed more of their vehicles towards the city and its camp, while their bulldozers continue to destroy the infrastructure in its neighborhoods, which has affected the water, electricity, sewage, internet networks, and public and private property.

The local residents inside the camp neighborhoods have been living for the third day without water, electricity, or communications, so they have become cut off from the outside world, and they are calling for their rescue and the provision of basic necessities, especially for the sick, children, and the elderly.

The occupation forces forced the residents of the Shuhada neighborhood this morning to leave their homes and leave the camp towards the city, joining a convoy of citizens who were forced to leave the camp since the first day.

The head of the Popular Committee for Services in Toulkarm refugee camp, Faisal Salama,  told WAFA in a statement yesterday that the camp is witnessing a large displacement of its citizens, and that more than 1,000 refugees were forcibly expelled from the camp.

All the neighborhoods of the camp are witnessing a large deployment of occupation vehicles and soldiers, who are firing live ammunition intensively, storming homes and wreaking havoc inside them, and subjecting citizens to interrogation and investigation, and they forced a large number of them to leave at gunpoint.

In Toulkarm city, the occupation forces continue their siege of the Martyr Thabit Thabit Governmental Hospital and the Israa Specialized Hospital, obstructing the work of ambulances and their medical crews.

The occupation forces are deployed in the city's various neighborhoods and streets, specifically the western, southern and eastern neighborhoods, and they obstruct the movement of vehicles, stop them, search them and force their passengers to return to their homes at gunpoint.

In a later development, the occupation forces raided a number of citizens' homes in the western neighborhood of the city, which has turned some of the homes into military barracks after expelling their residents, and checked their identities and subjected them to interrogation, without any arrests being reported.

The Israeli ccupation soldiers were seen trying to open old and abandoned homes in the western neighborhood, which belong to the Habayeb family, using heavy tools.

In addition, Toulkarm Municipality crews are working to repair the main water lines that supply parts of the city, located in the vicinity of Jamal Abdul Nasir Square, which were destroyed by the occupation bulldozers two days ago.

On Tuesday night, the young man Ayman Al-Naji was killed in the Artah suburb, south of Toulkarm, bringing the number of Palestinians who were killed in Toulkarm over the past two days to three, after the occupation bombed a vehicle in front of the entrance to Nour Shams refugee camp and killed two young men who were inside it.

Earlier today, the occupation bulldozers also demolished  the family's  house of the slain Palestinian Tamir Fuqaha in the Shuwaika suburb, north of the city, who was killed on May, 2024.

Egyptian President Abdul Fatta'h El-Sisi: Forcible displacement of Palestinians is an injustice Egypt cannot be a part of

CAIRO, January 29, 2025 (WAFA) –

Egyptian President, Abdul Fatta'h El-Sisi, emphasized on Wednesday that the forcible relocation or displacement of the Palestinian people is an injustice that Egypt cannot be a part of.

He reaffirmed that Egypt's longstanding position on the Palestinian cause, rooted in historical principles, is non-negotiable.

El-Sisi made these remarks during a joint press conference with Kenyan President William Ruto in Cairo.

He stressed that Egypt would never tolerate or allow the displacement of the Palestinian people, highlighting the significant impact this would have on Egypt's national security.

The president also reiterated Egypt’s commitment to working with the U.S. President, Donald Trump, to pursue a long-awaited peace process based on the two-state solution.

There are historical rights that cannot be overlooked, said El-Sisi, adding that the Egyptian, Arab, and global public opinion all recognize the long-standing injustice inflicted upon the Palestinian people over the past 70 years.

He also recalled that Egypt had warned at the onset of the war about the potential objective of making life in Gaza unbearable, leading to the forced displacement of Palestinians. Egypt's position from the beginning has been a firm rejection of such actions, said El-Sisi.

UNRWA’s Lazzarini says ‘relentless assault’ on agency is harming Palestinians

Wednesday 29-January-2025

NEW YORK, (PIC)

Philippe Lazzarini, the leader of the UN’s Palestinian relief agency, has slammed Israel after it moved to cut all contact with his organization.

“The relentless assault on UNRWA is harming the lives and future of Palestinians across the occupied Palestinian territory,” he told a UN Security Council meeting.

“It is eroding their trust in the international community, jeopardizing any prospect for peace and security,” the UNRWA chief added.

“Billboards and ads accusing UNRWA of terrorism recently appeared in major cities around the world. It sets a precedent for governments to accuse a United Nations entity of terrorism as a pretext to clamp down on human rights,” he said.

For Gaza, UNRWA is the doctors and nurses providing healthcare; the aid workers distributing food; and the mechanics and engineers building and repairing wells for clean drinking water, Lazzarini clarified.

“The Agency’s mere presence brings stability amid profound uncertainty.”

“Since the ceasefire began, UNRWA has brought in 60% of the food entering Gaza, reaching more than half a million people. We conduct some 17,000 medical consultations every day.”

FAO: Israeli war on Gaza destroys 75% of agriculture and irrigation water

ROME, January, 29 2024 (WAFA) –

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) said that 75% of the fields in the Gaza Strip that were previously used to grow crops and olive groves were damaged or destroyed due to the Israeli aggression.

FAO said in its assessment that more than two-thirds of agricultural wells are no longer operating, leading to a shortage of irrigation water, while livestock losses have reached 96%, milk production has almost stopped, and only 1% of poultry are still alive, while the fishing sector is on the verge of collapse, exacerbating food insecurity.

It added that the ceasefire in Gaza provides a crucial opportunity to address the catastrophic food crisis, by delivering emergency aid and starting early recovery efforts, as more than two million people need urgent assistance due to the collapse of agricultural production.

For his part, the Director of the World Food Program in Palestine, Antoine Renard, said that the program is doing everything necessary to reach the displaced people in Gaza who are returning to their homes, adding that the World Food Program was able to operate 13 bakeries in the southern Gaza Strip, prepare hot meals, and deliver ready-to-eat meals to families in shelters.

Sindh Provincial Assembly lauds Hamas struggle against Israel

Wednesday 29-January-2025

KARACHI, (PIC)

The Sindh Assembly echoed with thundering applause for the brave struggle of Hamas in which the Movement thwarted nefarious Israeli designs to bow down the Palestinians and expel them from their homeland.

This development was witnessed during the visit of Dr. Khaled Qadoumi, spokesperson of Hamas and head of its Western Asia Affairs Department, when he attended a session of Sindh Provincial Assembly on Tuesday.

Dr Qadoumi’s visit was arranged at the invitation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader and opposition leader Ali Khurshidi, along with MQM MPA Sabir Hussain Qaimkhani.

Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) representative, Anthony Naveed, also greeted Dr. Qadoumi during the session. Attendees included Local Government Minister and PPP leader Nasir Hussain Shah, PTI MPA Muhammad Shabir Qureshi, and Jamaat-e-Islami MPA Muhammad Farooq.

Members from various parliamentary parties in the Sindh Assembly—including the ruling PPP, PTI, MQM, and Jamaat-e-Islami—held separate meetings with Dr. Qadoumi. These discussions centered on recent developments in the Palestinian issue and the aftermath of Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

During the session, speakers lauded the resistance efforts of Hamas and its armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, praised the release of prisoners under Islamic principles, and honored the resilience of the Palestinian people.

PPP leader and Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah emphasized that all political leadership stands united on the Palestinian cause. He extended a welcome to the Hamas representative on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and the people of Sindh.

PTI’s Muhammad Shabir Qureshi stressed the need to prioritize the Palestinian issue above political differences, stating, “We, as supporters of Imran Khan, hold the sacrifices of the Palestinian people in high regard and salute their bravery.”

Jamaat-e-Islami’s Muhammad Farooq remarked, “We are honored to host Hamas’s representative, whose leadership has become a symbol of courage and determination. We stand with them unequivocally.”

MQM leaders also paid tribute to Palestinian sacrifices, declaring, “Hamas’s resistance fills us with pride.”

The gathering underscored a rare consensus among Sindh’s political factions in solidarity with Palestine, reflecting Pakistan’s enduring support for the cause.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
