In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

A medical source at Al-'Awda Hospital said that one martyr and a number of wounded civilians arrived at the facility following an Israeli airstrike on a bulldozer in Al-Rasheed street. Eyewitnesses identified the martyr as Mufeed 'Aabid, the owner of the bombed bulldozer. A spokesman for the Israeli occupation army claimed that its air force attacked a target in Al-Rasheed street in Gaza City, without providing details. Earlier on the same day, a five-year-old girl child was martyred when the Israeli occupation army bombed a civilian car in the same street. The child, Nada Al-Amoudi, was killed and other civilians suffered injuries when an Israeli strike targeted civilians returning to their homes in northern Gaza, according to local sources. *** After 470 days of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, 300,000 displaced Palestinians return to Gaza and the North Tuesday 28-January-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians continue to return to the northern Gaza Valley via the Al-Rasheed and Sala'huddeen roads for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, amidst a joyful atmosphere and determination to thwart plans for displacement. Our reporter noted that thousands of displaced individuals began early to resume their journey back to their homes in Gaza City and North Gaza governorates. He pointed out that citizens carried only a few of their belongings on the challenging return journey, which spans about 7 km to reach Gaza City. A large number of vehicles gathered and formed a line extending over 3 km along Salah al-Din Road on their way back to Gaza City. The Government Media Office (GMO) stated that all government teams and agencies are continuing their work for the second consecutive day to facilitate the return of hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals from the southern and central governorates to Gaza and the North, with more than 5,500 government employees currently working to ease the return routes and corridors. On Monday, 300,000 displaced persons managed to return to the Gaza and North governorates, according to the Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO). The PGMO added in a brief statement on Monday evening that 300,000 displaced citizens returned from the southern and central governorates to Gaza and the North via Al-Rasheed and Salah al-Din roads after 470 days of the mass extermination war committed by the Israeli occupation army. 'Hamas announced that an agreement had been reached through mediators for the return of displaced individuals to the northern Gaza Valley, starting from the morning of Monday, January 27, 2025. 'Hamas said in a press release, “As part of the Movement’s efforts to remove the pretexts set by (the prime minister of the Israeli occupation apartheid regime) Netanyahu regarding the return of displaced individuals to the northern sector, and to resolve the issue of the captive held by the resistance, Arbel Yahud, 'Hamas proposed to the mediators that an additional exchange take place involving the captive Arbel Yahud and two other captives of the occupation before next Friday, while the agreed exchange set for next Saturday remains as planned, involving three captives of the occupation.” It confirmed that, based on this, the Movement reached an agreement through mediators for the return of displaced individuals. On January 19, 2025, a ceasefire came into effect between the Palestinian resistance and Israel, lasting for an initial 42 days during which negotiations will be taking place to start a second and then a third phase, mediated by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States. *** Israeli tanks attack displaced citizens in Gaza City Tuesday 28-January-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation army violated the ceasefire agreement anew on Tuesday morning when its tanks opened fire at displaced civilians returning to their homes in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the south of Gaza City. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli tanks fired bullets at citizens as they were walking back to their homes near Khaleel Al-Nubani School, south of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City. Israeli tanks also opened fire towards the northeastern border of Khan Younus in southern Gaza. No one was reportedly hurt in the shooting attacks. Meanwhile, medical sources in Gaza said that 250 citizens were admitted to the hospital as a result of their suffering from extreme fatigue during their attempt to return to northern areas. The Red Crescent, for its part, said that its crews were able to recover decomposed bodies of 10 martyrs from different sites along al-Rashid street in Gaza on Monday. *** *** MSF: Destruction of life and homes leaves people unable to return safely to Rafa'h Tuesday 28-January-2025 GENEVA, (PIC) After 15 months of Israel’s war on Gaza, Palestine, and the implementation of the ceasefire on 19 January 2025, displaced Palestinians are attempting to return home to the southern city of Rafa'h. According to the United Nations, nearly 70 percent of all structures in Gaza have been destroyed or damaged. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) continues to call for an immediate massive scale-up of humanitarian aid. “Health services, including the rest of humanitarian aid, and rebuilding of the city is needed for life to be able to come back to Rafah, but it’s still too dangerous for people to return in most areas,” says Pascale Coissard, who supports MSF’s emergency coordinator. MSF added in a statement on Monday, “People are trying to rebuild from the rubble. Rafa'h is destroyed, with homes, shops, streets and healthcare facilities in ruins and electricity and water systems damaged. The area is also unsafe due to scattered unexploded artillery in the remnants of buildings, which will take years to clean.” In May 2024, Rafa'h had the largest concentration of displaced Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, with an estimated 1.5 million people living in tents and makeshift shelters. In these inhumane conditions, people faced disease outbreaks, malnutrition, and the psychological impact of being forcibly displaced multiple times. MSF teams working in Rafah had been providing basic healthcare and mental health support in the Shabboura clinic and supporting pediatric and maternity care in the Ministry of Health’s Emirati hospital. But were forced to close activities and evacuate the area after continuous bombings and evacuations orders from Israeli forces. The looming threat of a ground invasion by Israeli forces materialized on 6 May 2024. The military operations by Israeli forces led to the emptying of Rafah, mass destruction of the city, and to the closure of the Rafa'h crossing, which severely hindered the delivery of humanitarian aid into the entire Gaza Strip. Rafa'h was also the home to many MSF colleagues, who were forced to flee to other parts of the Gaza Strip. As a result of destroyed infrastructure, healthcare and other basic services are lacking. Many people are trying to return to Rafa'h but are unable to, as they find their homes destroyed – sometimes their neighborhoods are unrecognizable. It will take a long time before people can safely return to Rafa'h. In the meantime, people continue surviving in makeshift tents mainly in the coastal area of Al-Mawasi. There, they have no proper shelter, nor access to food and water and limited access to healthcare services. At the same time, Palestinians in the north of Gaza are facing similar conditions, after the recent brutal Israeli military siege, which left the area completely destroyed. *** Egypt prepares to operate Rafa'h crossing with European monitors Tuesday 28-January-2025 CAIRO, (PIC) Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdul 'Aati said that the Rafa'h border crossing with the Gaza Strip will soon be reopened once preparations are completed on the Palestinian side, in the presence of European monitors. Abdul 'Aati explained in a recorded interview with Cairo News Channel on Monday evening that humanitarian and medical aid is currently being delivered at good rates, exceeding the agreed number of 600 trucks per day. He added that Egypt is providing all possible facilitation, and assistance is entering through the Karm Abu Salim crossing, while operations at the Rafa'h crossing will commence once the Palestinian side finishes its preparations. He added that the Egyptian side is ready, but Israel has destroyed many facilities on the Palestinian side of the crossing, and there will be monitors from the European Union. Earlier, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell stated that EU foreign ministers agreed to resume the monitoring mission at the Rafa'h border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt. Borrell noted that the bloc will resume its civilian monitoring mission at the Rafa'h border crossing between Gaza and Egypt, adding, “Everyone agreed that the EU border assistance mission at the Rafah crossing can play a crucial role in supporting the ceasefire.” He clarified that EU foreign ministers approved the redeployment of the European mission at the Rafa'h crossing between Gaza and Egypt, indicating that its presence will allow 300 war-injured individuals to leave Gaza daily for medical care. Since May 24, 2024, humanitarian aid has been entering the Gaza Strip through the Karm Abu Salim crossing (controlled by Israel) after the occupying army seized the Rafa'h crossing and destroyed and burned parts of it as part of an operation it began in the city of Rafa'h on the seventh of May, 2024. The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, which began its first phase on January 19, stipulates the entry of 600 trucks of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip daily and the opening of the Rafa'h crossing seven days after the agreement is implemented. The ceasefire agreement in Gaza also includes a prisoner exchange in three phases, each lasting 42 days. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý *** Several Palestinians injured in West Bank clashes Tuesday 28-January-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) Two young Palestinians were injured on Tuesday evening during an Israeli military raid on Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of the Al-Khaleel (Hebron), in the southern occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society affirmed in a brief press release that two young men were transferred to the hospital after suffering gunshot injuries in the thigh and the foot. Local sources also reported that violent clashes erupted in several areas of the city after being raided by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs). The IOFs also kidnapped an injured young man who was shot in the face with live bullets in Toulkarm raid and prevented the ambulance crew from reaching him. Along the same line, the journalist Nagham Al-Zayyat sustained shrapnel wounds to her right hand while covering an Israeli military incursion in eastern Toulkarm city. The Israeli occupation army continued a military operation in the Toulkarm refugee camp for the second day in a row on Tuesday. They have killed at least two people, injured dozens and displaced hundreds of families since Monday. The assault marks an expansion of a continuing military operation in the nearby Jineen refugee camp, where at least 16 people have been killed and 50 others injured since January 21. *** Palestinian child wounded by IOF gunfire in Jineen Tuesday 28-January-2025 Jineen, (PIC) A Palestinian child was injured on Monday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) randomly and directly opened fire at civilians in Jineen refugee camp, north of the West Bank. The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided first aid for a 15-year-old boy and transferred him to a local hospital, adding that he suffered bullet injuries in his knee and thigh. In another incident, the IOFs encircled a café in Fa'hma village, south of Jineen, and kidnaped a young man from it on Monday evening. Local sources said reinforcements stormed Fa'hma village during the IOFs raid on the café. IOFs reinforcements and bulldozers also stormed Jineen City and its refugee camp, amid intensive drone overflights in the area. Meanwhile, the IOFs has continued to destroy, detonate and burn homes in Jenin camp, while local residents reported that the Israeli army wreaked havoc on large parts of different neighborhoods of Jineen, including Al-Damj, Al-Bishr, Salait, 'Abdullah 'Azzam, and Tallat Al-Ghabz. The IOFs also kidnapped more local residents in Jineen refugee camp yesterday and today and continued to force more families to leave Jenin camp. *** IOFs kidnap 25 Palestinians in the West Bank, amid ongoing aggression in Toulkarm and Jineen Tuesday 28-January-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped last night and on Tuesday morning a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank, amid ongoing aggression in Toulkarm and Jineen. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped two young men from Qalandya refugee camp in northern Jerusalem and another one from Nablus City. Another citizen was taken prisoner during an IOFs raid in Wadi Burqeen area in Jineen The IOFs also kidnapped three young men from Doura town in southern Al-Khaleel (Hebron) and four citizens from Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) City. For its part, the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs said that Israeli forces kidnaped at least 25 citizens during raids in different West Bank areas last night and on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, violent armed clashes broke out at dawn and later in the morning between resistance fighters and Israeli soldiers in Toulkarm refugee camp before IOFs reinforcements stormed the area. Local sources said that Israeli troops encircled a house in Iktaba suburb in Toulkarm, without providing further details. The IOFs also stormed Umm Al-Sharayit neighborhood in Al-Beereh City and Kafr 'Iqab neighborhood in northern Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), and detonated more houses in Jineen. Meanwhile, the IOFs closed most of the roads leading to Al-Khaleel City and raided several homes in Al-Dthahiriya town, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron). In a related context, resistance fighters from Al-Qassam Brigades of 'Hamas and Al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad laid several ambushes against Israeli occupation forces as they were trying to infiltrate into Toulkarm refugee camp from different directions. Local sources affirmed that some Israeli occupation soldiers were injured after they came under fire from resistance fighters in Toulkarm refugee camp. Resistance fighters also launched a surprise attack on Israeli troops at the military checkpoint near the illegal Israeli settlement of Nitzanei Oz in Toulkarm. Last night, the IOFs raid in Toulkarm City began with a tight siege on the hospitals of Thabit Thabit and Al-Israa and involved widespread destruction of infrastructure. Local sources reported that Israeli occupation soldiers forced some families to leave their homes at gunpoint in the neighborhoods of Al-Matar and Murabb'at 'Hanoun and told them they could return in seven days. They added that the IOFs took over a number of tall buildings overlooking the neighborhoods of Al-Shuhada and Al-'Hamam and turned them into military posts and watchtowers. Meanwhile, the Islamic Awqaf Directorate in Toulkarm said it opened the Mosques of Mus'ab Bin 'Omair and Sala'huddeen in the city to the Palestinian families who had to leave their homes as a result of the Israeli aggression. The IOFs also imposed a tight siege on Toulkarm refugee camp, while its bulldozers embarked on destroying public and private property, including roads, homes and stores, in different neighborhoods. A house belonging to the family of Shaheen was reportedly set on fire by the IOF in Toulkarm refugee camp. The IOFs also kidnaped a number of citizens from their homes in Dthanabah suburb near Toulkarm refugee camp. In Jenin, the IOFs continued its rampage and destruction in the refugee camp, for the eighth consecutive day, amid clashes with resistance fighters. The IOFs started to divide the Jenin refugee camp into four areas through destroying streets and detonating and burning homes, according to local sources. Israeli occupation forces also prevented local residents from checking on their homes in the western area of Jenin camp and detained a number of them. A child suffered a bullet injury in the vicinity of the Cinema rotary, where intensive IOF gunfire was reported. In a separate incident, the IOFs burned a copy of the holy Qur’an during a raid on a house in Fa'hma town, south of Jineen. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque, in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Tuesday 28-January-2025 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) Scores of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday morning and later in the afternoon, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site. According to local sources, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque through Al-Maghariba Gate and provocatively toured its courtyards under police protection. During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the illegal Israeli settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site. Yesterday, a large number of Muslim worshipers flocked to Al-Aqsa Mosque to mark the Isra and Mi’raj occasion despite the Israeli restrictions imposed on their entry to the holy site and the Old City of Jerusalem. Recently, Palestinian Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) activists urged their compatriots to intensify their presence inside Al-Aqsa Mosque compound to protect it against desecration and Judaization by the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers. *** Israeli occupation apartheid regime demolishes three Palestinian homes Tuesday 28-January-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation apartheid regime continues its demolition and bulldozing operations in the occupied West Bank, while forcing a citizen in 1948 occupied Palestine to demolish his home under threat. In Aree'ha (Jericho), Israeli bulldozers demolished a home on Tuesday morning belonging to citizen Hala 'Abbasi, located east of the city, under the pretext of building without a permit. The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed the Sama Aree'ha area east of Aree'ha (Jericho), accompanied by two bulldozers, and began the demolition process despite objections from the homeowners and the lack of a ruling from an Israeli court on the matter. Sa'har Barakat, a neighbor, expressed her surprise at the IOFs incursion and the initiation of the demolition without giving the owners time to evacuate. Barakat underlined that the occupation army had previously notified the homeowners of a ban on construction, and they had obtained all the necessary permits imposed by the occupation and completed all approvals. However, once they finished the construction process, the demolition took place. In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), IOFs invaded the town of Tuquo’ southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), accompanied by bulldozers, and began demolishing a two-story residential building belonging to the brothers Osama and Tayseer 'Hasan Mousa Sulayman, with each floor covering an area of 300 square meters. The IOFs sealed off the area, preventing citizens from approaching, and ordered the homeowners to evacuate immediately. In 1948 occupied Palestine, the Israeli authorities forced Mu'hammad Zahi Ighbariya from the village of Mismas in the Wadi 'Aara area to demolish his home, under the threat of forced demolition and hefty fines. An Israeli court had passed a demolition verdict against the home under the pretext of “building without a permit” and notified Ighbariya that the demolition would be carried out at any time. Despite his efforts to appeal the decision in court, Ighbariya’s attempts to protect the home he built in 2009 on his own land in the western part of the village, which is considered a natural extension for urban expansion due to the significant population density in the village, were unsuccessful. Ighbariya, a father of three children, expressed his deep sadness after being forced to demolish his home, which cost him about 1.2 million shekels, confirming that the Israeli authorities informed him that the demolition would be carried out at any moment, which would obligate him to pay additional costs if he did not demolish it himself. The year 2024 witnessed the highest rate of Israeli violations against Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem compared to the last five years, indicating a clear escalation of Israeli occupation crimes and brutality, alongside the continuation of its aggressive policies toward Palestinians. The Palestine Information Center documented 53,052 violations, covering all types of crimes and violations committed by the IOFs and the illegal settlers, including killings, deportations, arrests, home demolitions, land bulldozing, property confiscation, and attacks on education and health sectors, in violation of all international treaties and agreements. According to the Center, the number of homes demolished by the occupation in the West Bank and Jerusalem reached 508, in addition to hundreds of homes threatened with demolition. In the territories occupied in 1948, the Israeli authorities continued demolishing and confiscating Palestinian properties, with a total of 81 homes and properties demolished, along with dozens of homes notified of demolition under the pretext of unauthorized construction. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** UNRWA warns of serious repercussions if Israel implements ban on its activities Tuesday 28-January-2025 OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC) UNRWA Director of Communications Juliette Touma has warned of catastrophic implications on the already dire humanitarian situation of Palestinians living in Gaza, as well as in the West Bank, if the Israeli ban on the agency’s activities came into effect next Thursday. In televised remarks on Tuesday, Touma stated that despite the Israeli ban, UNRWA plans to stay in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and deliver its services until it fails to do so. “We, as UNRWA, plan to stay and deliver until we cannot. We are the largest humanitarian operation in Gaza”, Touma said. “If the Israeli parliament’s ban on UNRWA operations is implemented, it could jeopardize the ceasefire, which is key to delivery of humanitarian aid,” she added. “With over 5,000 staff in Gaza, UNRWA provides critical services, including 16,000 daily medical consultations. “Who will distribute the food and provide medical care if UNRWA is forced to stop its work?” she underlined. In a related context, UNRWA director of external relations and communications Tamara Alrifai told Al Jazeera satellite channel on Monday that most of the food aid that entered the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire deal came through the agency. “60 percent of the food that has come into Gaza since the start of the ceasefire has come in with UNRWA,” Alrifai told Al Jazeera. “The success of the ceasefire will hang in the balance if UNRWA is unable to operate beyond the end of January. The implementation of the ban on UNRWA must be halted,” she stressed. According to a recent statement by UNRWA, Israel ordered the agency to vacate all premises in occupied east Jerusalem and cease its operations in them by January 30, 2025. “This order is in contradiction to international law obligations of UN member states including the State of Israel, which is bound by the General Convention on Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations,” UNRWA stated on January 26. “United Nations premises are inviolable and enjoy privileges and immunities under the United Nations Charter,” the statement underscored. “The State of Israel is a signatory -without reservations- to the General Convention on Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations and enacted its provisions in its domestic law. These provisions oblige the State of Israel to respect United Nations privileges and immunities, including respect for United Nations premises.” “UNRWA property and assets including in east Jerusalem are immune from search, requisition, confiscation, expropriation, and any other form of interference.” “Claims from the Israeli authorities that UNRWA has no right to occupy the premises are without foundation. They promote anti-UNRWA rhetoric, placing the Agency’s facilities and personnel at risk. The government of Israel has stated publicly that the aim to vacate UNRWA premises in Sheikh Jarrah is to expand Israeli illegal settlements in occupied east Jerusalem.” “The State of Israel must take all appropriate measures consistent with international law obligations to ensure that UNRWA’s property and installations are respected and protected,” the statement concluded. *** =============================================================================================================================== Editorial
