While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Rafa'h Municipality demands 40,000 tents, urgent shelter for residents of the stricken city

Thursday 6-February-2025

RAFAH, (PIC)

The Mayor of Rafa'h, Ahmed Al-Sufi, issued an urgent appeal to international organizations and relevant authorities for immediate intervention to provide 40,000 tents and shelter units for the residents of Rafa'h, who have found themselves homeless after the massive destruction of their homes due to the Israeli aggression.

Al-Sufi confirmed in a press statement on Thursday that the humanitarian situation in Rafa'h is catastrophic, with tens of thousands of citizens sleeping in the open under harsh weather conditions of rain and strong winds that have exacerbated their suffering and uprooted the tattered tents they took refuge in.

He noted that preliminary figures indicate that about 90% of the housing units in the city have been destroyed, with around 52,000 housing units suffering varying levels of destruction.

The mayor explained that Rafa'h, which has become a disaster-stricken city, is no longer able to accommodate its affected residents in the absence of sustainable housing solutions, necessitating an urgent international response to save the residents from the dangers of homelessness, famine, and disease.

Al-Sufi concluded his statement by urging all international and humanitarian organizations to fulfill their moral and legal responsibilities towards the residents of Rafa'h and to work on providing basic shelter necessities, ensuring a minimum standard of dignified living for the displaced who are enduring unprecedented tragic conditions.

Israeli forces have earlier announced a 48-hour curfew, while dozens of besieged families in Tammoun have issued distress calls.

 By Hoda Habayib ý

ý After 11 days of Israeli aggression, Toulkarm refugee camp is living a tragic reality of destruction, displacement and human suffering.ý

Israeli occupation forces notify family of Palestinian prisoner of house demolition in Toulkarm

TULKARM, February 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces informed the family of detained Palestinian Mu'hammed Jawdat Sha'hrour today of their intention to seize and demolish his apartment in the eastern neighborhood of Toulkarm city.

Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces placed the punitive demolition order at the site of the residence, located on the ground floor of a four-story building.

Mu'hammed Sha'hrour, 28 years old, was detained on April 9, 2024, from his home, and has been in prison since then.

Israel’s policy of punitive home demolitions is a blatant violation of international law and human rights, as it targets innocent Palestinian families as a form of collective punishment.

This practice, which has been in place for decades, involves demolishing the homes of Palestinians accused of being involved in attacks against Israeli forces or colonists, often without due process or fair trials.

Despite widespread condemnation from international human rights organizations, including the United Nations, which has called the policy “inhumane,” Israel continues to use home demolitions as a tool of repression.

174 Palestinians kidnapped since the start of the Israeli aggression on Jineen and Toubas

Thursday 6-February-2025

JENIN, (PIC)

The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) reported that the Israeli occupation has kidnapped and detained 174 Palestinians from the Jineen and Toubas governorates in northern West Bank since the onset of the “Iron Wall” aggression on the two provinces.

The PPS said in a press release on Thursday that the number of detainees in Jenin and its refugee camp over the 17 days of aggression is no less than 120. In the Tubas governorate, the number of arrests has reached 54, mostly in the town of Tammoun.

It indicated that dozens of citizens in the two governorates have undergone field interrogations, with the majority of detainees subjected to severe beating and systematic abuse.

The Israeli occupation army continues its aggression on the governorates of Jineen, Toulkarm, and Tubas for more than two weeks, resulting in 29 martyrs, dozens of injuries, arrests, house demolitions, and forced displacement, amid widespread destruction of property and infrastructure.

Since the beginning of the aggression, the occupation army has imposed arbitrary measures at its military checkpoints near most entrances and exits of the governorates in the West Bank, closing most of the gates of villages and towns in an attempt to ignite the situation, paving the way for creating a state of violent chaos to facilitate the annexation of the West Bank. This has manifested in the brutal attacks carried out by terrorist settler gangs against Palestinian citizens, their towns, properties, homes, lands, and sanctities.

'Hamas: Israel is racing against time to execute the annexation and displacement plan in the West Bank

Thursday 6-February-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

Haroun Nasiruddeen, a member of the Hamas political bureau, has confirmed that the Israeli occupation authorities are racing against time to expedite the implementation of the annexation and displacement plan in the West Bank.

In a statement on Thursday, he explained that the establishment of a new settlement outpost in the “Gush Etzion” settlement bloc between Al-Khalil and Bethlehem is the first of its kind in 20 years.

Nasiruddeen emphasized the importance of steadfastness among the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and not succumbing to the threats of the Israeli occupation and attempts to displace the population. He pointed out that “the resilience of our people is the safety valve to thwart the occupation’s ambitions to empty the West Bank in favor of further settlement projects.”

He added, “Our cause is going through a critical and sensitive phase, especially with the increased ambitions of the occupation to seize more land in the West Bank, and the reliance on the United States and the illusions that Trump promotes to the Zionist public.”

The 'Hamas leader indicated that what the West Bank and Jerusalem are experiencing requires mobilizing all components of our nation and people, and confronting all attempts and plans of the occupation to liquidate the Palestinian cause and impose new facts on the ground in favor of the settlers.

Nasiruddeen emphasized that the people of the West Bank will not give up an inch of their land and will not surrender to the occupation’s will to displace them, no matter the sacrifices and costs involved.

He stressed that the responsibility is growing for all parties, both internationally and locally, to confront the practices of the extremist occupation government and its colonial expansionist plans, which pose a grave threat to the region and the entire area.

The Arab Republic of Egypt renewed its rejection of any proposal or perception aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause by extracting the Palestinian people or displacing them from their historical land and seizing it, whether temporarily or permanently, warning of the repercussions of those ideas, which are unfair and an infringement on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and that Egypt will not be a party to themýý.ý

ýIn a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry warned of the repercussions of the statements issued by a number of members of the Israeli government about the start of the implementation of a plan to displace the Palestinian people from their land, which is a violation of international law, international humanitarian law and the most basic rights of the Palestinian citizen, and requires accountabilityýý.ý

ýShe also stressed the need to deal with the roots of the conflict, which is represented in the existence of a people under occupation for decades, during which they suffered from all forms of displacement, oppression and discrimination, which must be worked to end immediately and restore the Palestinian people to their inalienable rights in accordance with the terms of reference of international legitimacyýý.ý

ýIsraeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz "ordered the preparation of a plan that would allow the voluntary exit of Gazans from the Strip."ý

ýKatz wrote on the X platform: "I welcome Trump's bold plan. Gazans must be allowed the freedom to leave and migrate, as is the case around the world."ý

ýAlgeria reaffirms its rejection of any plans to displace our people from the Gaza Strip ý

ýAlgeria 6-2-2025 Wafa -

Algeria affirmed its "categorical rejection of the circulating plans aimed at displacing and emptying Gaza of its original inhabitants, as part of a broader plan aimed at striking the Palestinian national project at the core."ý

ý"Algeria reaffirms its firm conviction that the achievement of sustainable peace in the Middle East remains fully linked to the realization of the rights of the Palestinian people and enabling them to establish their independent and sovereign state according to the internationally agreed two-state formula as a just, lasting and final solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict," the Algerian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.ý

ýShe added: "Algeria stresses the inevitability of unifying the Palestinian territories from Gaza to the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem in the horizon of the realization of the Palestinian national project, stressing that attempts to obliterate, fragment or liquidate this project will only prolong the conflict, deepen the suffering of the Palestinian people and exacerbate the state of insecurity and instability in the entire region."ý

ýLibya reiterates its rejection of any practices aimed at the forced displacement of our peopleý

ýTripoli 6-2-2025 Wafa -

Libya affirmed its firm position in support of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, which are guaranteed by international legitimacy through successive UN resolutions, foremost of which is the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in order to achieve their just aspirations for freedom, dignity and justice.ý

ýThe Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said in a statement on Thursday that "based on its firm commitment to the principles of international humanitarian law and the Charter of the United Nations, Libya stresses its absolute rejection of any practices aimed at forcibly displacing or arbitrarily expelling Palestinians, changing the demographic composition of the occupied territories, or imposing racist policies that perpetuate the occupation and violate the most basic human rights. It also condemns any acts of violence that target civilians or are used as a pretext to perpetuate the occupation and undermine the chances of achieving a just peace."ý

ýIn light of the dangerous escalation of racist rhetoric and oppressive practices against the Palestinian people, Libya strongly condemns any form of political violence or hate crimes targeting Palestinians, stressing that such practices constitute a flagrant violation of international law, international criminal law and the relevant Security Council resolutions, represent a serious threat to regional and international peace and security, and undermine efforts to achieve a comprehensive solution.ý

ýLibya reaffirms that a comprehensive political solution is the only way to achieve lasting peace, through activating the Arab Peace Initiative and implementing the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy, in a way that guarantees an end to the Israeli occupation, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, and the right of Palestinian refugees to return. It also urges the international community to shoulder its responsibilities more seriously and not to allow the use of force as a means of imposing a new reality on the groundýý.ý

ýLibya stressed that a just peace is not just a moral choice, but a strategic necessity for the stability of the region and the world, calling on all parties to adhere to dialogue and respect international law, and renewing its full support for the Palestinian people until their legitimate aspirations are achieved.ý

Ireland rejects Israeli proposal to accept displaced Palestinians from Gaza

DUBLIN, February 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Irish Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected today the proposal put forward by Israeli ‘Defense Minister’ Israel Katz regarding the potential reception of Palestinian refugees from Gaza.

In a statement, the ministry emphasized that the focus should be on significantly increasing aid to Gaza, restoring essential services, and establishing a clear framework for displaced individuals to return to their homes. The ministry further stated that any comments contradicting this goal were "counterproductive and a source of disturbance."

Israel's Defense Minister Katz had suggested that countries such as Spain, Ireland, and Norway, which recognized Palestine as a state last year, were "legally obligated" to allow Palestinians from Gaza to enter their territories.

This proposal has been met with significant resistance, with Spain also rejecting Katz’s suggestion. Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares responded by saying, "Gaza is the land of the Palestinian people, and it should be part of the future Palestinian state."

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind strongly condemns US President’s statement on Gaza

NEW DELHI, February 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

Maulana Mahmood Madani, President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has strongly condemned the statement made by US President Donald Trump, in which he proposed the American occupation of Gaza and the forcible displacement of the Palestinian people. Maulana Madani described this proposal as not only absurd but also a direct violation of international law and human rights.

Maulana Madani emphasized that “Gaza is not just a piece of land; it is home of millions of Palestinian people who have suffered for decades under occupation, aggression, and injustice.”

“Any attempt to forcibly expel the Palestinian people from their homes would constitute a grave assault on human dignity and rights,” he added.

He further highlighted that nearly 50,000 innocent lives have already been lost in the recent Israeli brutal aggression, and any further unjust plans would only add insult to injury, further exacerbating the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Maulana Madani expressed deep dismay that the US President, alongside a brutal Israeli leader, is endorsing such a draconian proposal from the White House.

He stated that any leader with a conscience would be ashamed to support a plan so callous and inhumane.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind called on the international community, especially the United Nations and influential global powers, to categorically reject this plan and take immediate, practical steps to ensure the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind reaffirmed its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and demands the reconstruction of Gaza, the restoration of Palestinian rights, and the pursuit of a just and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue.

Palestinian and Egyptian Social Development Ministers discuss enhanced humanitarian cooperation

RAMALLAH, February 6, 2025 (WAFA) –

Minister of Social Development and Relief, Sama'h 'Hamad, held a Zoom meeting yesterday with Egypt's Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Maya Morsy, to explore avenues for joint cooperation and strengthen humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people.

The discussions emphasized enhanced coordination between the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent Societies in providing urgent relief to those affected by the ongoing crisis.

The meeting was conducted within the framework of the government’s emergency operations room for interventions in the southern governorates of Palestine. Dr. 'Hamad expressed her gratitude to Dr. Morsy for Egypt's continuous support of Palestine, particularly for the active role of Egypt in sending field teams to the Rafa'h crossing to deliver critical aid.

She also briefed her Egyptian counterpart on the latest developments in the West Bank and the challenges Palestinians are facing due to the recent escalation in violence.

'Hamad outlined the government's efforts through the operations room, which is currently working on securing shelter for families whose homes have been destroyed, clearing debris, and restoring essential services to impacted areas. The discussion also included urgent needs, such as aid held in Al-Arish and ways to facilitate its entry into Gaza to ensure it reaches those in dire need.

The Palestinian Minister of Social Development emphasized the necessity of ensuring that aid coming from Egypt is delivered through the Palestinian Red Crescent and the Ministry of Relief, which are the official entities responsible for receiving and distributing assistance within Palestinian territories.

Morsy reaffirmed that the Egyptian Red Crescent is the designated body coordinating the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and she assured continued Egyptian efforts in this regard.

Morsy also provided an update on Egypt’s efforts to monitor the conditions of wounded Palestinians from Gaza receiving treatment in Egyptian hospitals. She mentioned that she had personally visited several injured individuals, including children, to check on their health. She emphasized her commitment to closely following up on the status of newly evacuated patients to ensure they receive the necessary care.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. 'Hamad underscored Egypt’s vital role in supporting the Palestinian people during these challenging times, expressing deep appreciation to the Egyptian Red Crescent for its significant efforts in providing urgent relief and for monitoring the conditions of the wounded. Both ministers agreed to hold regular follow-up meetings to ensure continued coordination and effective support for the affected Palestinian communities.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
