Note: The total number, mentioned above, of Palestinians who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank does not subtract those who were released after kidnapping them. *** Note about the number of Palestinians, who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the Wet Bank: The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), and Al-Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children. Source: Palestine Information Center, August 10, 2025. *** Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip: On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate. ***
*** *** *** ý Impacts and Aspects of the Israeli Genocidal War on the Gaza Strip*** Egypt: Netanyahu obstructs second phase of Gaza ceasefire deal Friday 26-December-2025 CAIRO, (PIC) Egypt has confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is actively obstructing progress to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which has been in place since October 10. Cairo also accuses him of trying to escalate regional tensions. Diaa Rashwan, head of Egypt’s State Information Service, said in a televised interview Thursday night that Netanyahu is “doing everything possible to avoid moving to the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire deal.” He added that Netanyahu is attempting to redirect US attention toward other regional issues, chief among them Iran, Syria, and Lebanon. Rashwan warned that Netanyahu is trying to “ignite the region beyond Gaza” by exploiting rising US–Iran tensions in hopes of pushing Washington into a confrontation with Tehran. Such a scenario, he said, could derail the second phase of the ceasefire agreement and reignite violence in Gaza. While accusing Netanyahu of “clearly maneuvering to sabotage the next stage of the deal,” Rashwan noted that “there is a clear American veto against the resumption of hostilities in Gaza.” He emphasized that “all indicators confirm the US administration has made its decision to begin the second phase at the start of January,” and suggested that US President Donald Trump’s scheduled meeting with Netanyahu on December 29 “may serve as the real green light for that transition.” Rashwan concluded by saying that Trump is “a pragmatic figure who wants to complete what he sees as a historic solution,” noting that the only foreign policy document bearing Trump’s name this year was the Gaza ceasefire plan, underscoring the centrality of this issue for the current US administration. *** UNRWA: Gaza enters 2026 amid catastrophic conditions as Israeli restrictions deepen humanitarian crisis Friday 26-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Adnan Abu Hasna, media adviser for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), said that Gaza is entering 2026 under catastrophic humanitarian conditions affecting over 2 million Palestinians. These hardships stem from more than two years of war and its devastating aftermath. He warned that UNRWA’s operations are facing severe difficulties due to Israeli restrictions and the ongoing blockade of humanitarian aid. In remarks to Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Abu Hasna explained that thousands of aid trucks loaded with food and blankets, sufficient to support 1.1 million people, have been blocked by Israel. These trucks also contain flour that could meet the needs of the entire population in Gaza. He added that the aid includes hundreds of thousands of tents, blankets, and plastic sheets intended to assist roughly 1.3 million people, but they remain stuck at crossings due to Israeli restrictions. UN obstruction and financial crisis Abu Hasna pointed out that the Israeli authorities continue to obstruct UN operations by denying entry to international staff and even blocking UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini from accessing Gaza and the West Bank, moves that severely hinder humanitarian coordination. UNRWA is also facing a severe financial shortfall, needing approximately $200 million by the end of March 2026 just to pay staff salaries. This financial crisis extends beyond Gaza to include UNRWA’s operations in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, threatening the agency’s ability to serve millions of Palestinian refugees. Despite the obstacles, UNRWA has resumed educational services for 300,000 students, 70,000 of whom attend in-person classes. Makeshift learning spaces have been created in destroyed schools and shelters in collaboration with local communities. Healthcare and sanitation under pressure On the health front, UNRWA has opened new clinics in northern and central Gaza, providing daily medical care for approximately 16,000 patients. Solid waste collection continues, with thousands of tons of trash removed. UNRWA also distributes clean drinking water to hundreds of thousands of people and has offered nearly 15 million medical and psychological consultations since October 7, 2023. Yet, the humanitarian situation remains dire. Hundreds of thousands of tents and clothing items sit stranded at border crossings, urgently needed to meet basic survival needs. Legal and political challenges Addressing Israel’s disinformation campaigns aimed at discrediting UNRWA, Abu Hasna emphasized that the agency has received renewed backing from 151 countries for the next three years, a clear message of international support. He also referred to a ruling from the International Court of Justice two months ago, which rejected Israel’s claims that UNRWA had deviated from its mandate. The court called on Israel to facilitate the agency’s operations in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem. In the West Bank, UNRWA faces additional obstacles due to ongoing Israeli military operations in refugee camps like Tulkarem, Nur Shams, and Jenin, operations that have displaced over 30,000 Palestinians. Severe restrictions continue in Jerusalem, where UNRWA is barred from functioning. *** Israeli occupatin regime's so-called defence minister Katz: We will never withdraw from Gaza Thursday 25-December-2025 (PIC)-- The Israeli occupatin regime's so-called defence minister, Israel Katz, reiterated on Thursday that Israel “will never leave the Gaza Strip,” just two days after remarks in which he said Tel Aviv intended to establish agricultural military bases and settlement outposts inside Gaza, comments he later walked back following US anger and Washington’s request for official clarification from the Israeli government. Katz made the statements while speaking at a conference organized by Israeli bodies, including the Hebrew newspaper Makor Rishon, where he addressed what he described as the “second phase” of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The Hebrew-language news site Walla quoted Katz as claiming that “Israel has won in Gaza, and this victory must be translated in the right way,” adding: “We must decisively defeat 'Hamas and free all the abductees,” referring to the remains of the last Israeli captive in Gaza, soldier Ran Giveli. Katz addressed voices questioning the feasibility of achieving military victory while securing the return of captives, saying that “many doubted it was possible to achieve both,” and describing what happened as “one degree short of a miracle.” He also claimed that Hamas leaders had said they would not allow Israel to remain along the so-called “yellow line,” but “then surrendered,” according to his remarks. Discussing military operations, Katz alleged that the Israeli army knew the whereabouts of Hamas leader 'Izzuddeen El-'Haddad but refrained from targeting him at the time out of concern for the safety of Israeli captives. He added: “Today we are in a simple situation. US President Donald Trump presented a plan, and we support it,” arguing that Trump should “eliminate terrorist infrastructure and disarm Hamas.” Katz concluded by stressing once again that “Israel will never leave Gaza,” asserting that “a large area inside the Strip will be established to protect settlement,” and indicating that, in his view, “Nahal settlement nuclei will be established in the northern part of the Gaza Strip in the future.” Katz had made similar remarks last Tuesday, stating that Israel would never fully withdraw from Gaza and would establish settlement outposts in the north of the Strip. At the time, he said: “When the time comes, we will establish Nahal settlement groups in northern Gaza instead of the settlements that were removed,” referring to Israel’s 2005 unilateral disengagement plan, which involved withdrawing from Gaza and evacuating its settlements. *** Two Lebanese civilians martyred in Israeli airstrike in Bekaa amid escalating attacks on Lebanon Thursday 25-December-2025 BEIRUT, (PIC) Two Lebanese civilians were martyred on Thursday morning after an Israeli airstrike targeted a civilian vehicle in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, as Israeli attacks across the country continue to escalate. Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone carried out an airstrike on a civilian van on the Hosh al-Sayyid Ali Road in the Hermel district, killing two people onboard. Their bodies were transferred to Al-Bitrol Hospital in Hermel. Lebanese media sources said an Israeli warplane claimed the strike targeted a member of the Hezbollah party. However, the attack hit a clearly civilian vehicle, resulting in the killing of unarmed civilians. The strike came amid a series of Israeli attacks on Lebanon in recent hours, including drone strikes on sites in the town of Houla in southern Lebanon and the demolition of a residential home in Kfar Kila. Israeli attacks on Lebanon have continued since October 2023, resulting in the killing of more than 4,000 people and the wounding of at least 17,000 others, according to Lebanese sources. The same sources said Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement have exceeded 4,500 breaches. Israeli media have also reported that the Israeli military is preparing a plan for a large-scale assault on Hezbollah positions if the Lebanese government fails to impose de-escalation measures before the end of 2025. *** Prisoner orgs: 9,300 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails face “colonial erasure” Thursday 25-December-2025 (PIC) - The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said that Israeli authorities continue to systematically destroy the lives of over 9,300 Palestinian prisoners and detainees in its prisons through an integrated system rooted in torture and gross human rights violations. In a joint briefing issued Thursday, both organizations emphasized that these violations have affected all prisoners without exception, through unprecedentedly entrenched policies and practices. They asserted that these actions form part of a broader campaign of genocide and ongoing “colonial erasure” targeting the Palestinian people. The statement drew upon dozens of field visits conducted in December 2025, covering multiple prisons and detention centers including Ofer, Negev, Megiddo, Ramla clinic, Rakefet, Shata, Gilboa, and Janot, as well as major detention camps such as Sde Teiman and Gilad. The report revealed that 50 women detained in Damon Prison were subjected to systematic and brutal repression, including gas spraying, beatings, being shackled, and forced to sit in freezing cold conditions. They have also been denied basic feminine hygiene supplies, including sanitary pads, and access to medical care, even those suffering from chronic illnesses such as cancer. Conditions at Janot Prison were described as particularly dire, where prominent prisoner leaders are held, including Ahmad Sa’adat, Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The briefing highlighted their continued exposure to torture, solitary confinement, and denial of medical treatment, resulting in severe injuries like broken ribs and intense back pain. In Gilboa and Shata prisons, the report noted a sharp increase in violent crackdowns, including beatings, tear gas use, and batons. In Negev Prison, a “starvation policy” was reported, with inmates receiving three extremely small meals a day, leading to extreme weight loss, frailty, and the spread of skin diseases like scabies, along with unknown viral infections, none of which are being properly treated. More than 1,400 prisoners from Gaza are currently held in Israeli prisons, reportedly facing brutal torture and egregious violations of their human dignity. Approximately 350 child detainees are also living in tragic conditions, deprived of family visits and medical care, and subjected to beatings and malnutrition. The Commission and the PPS concluded by affirming that Israeli policies are deliberately aimed at dehumanizing and degrading prisoners, through continuous and systematic acts of humiliation and abuse, carried out around the clock inside detention facilities. *** ****** Gaza: Death toll climbs to 70,945 martyrs Saturday 27-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, has surged to 70,945 martyrs, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, on Friday. The Ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 171,211 people. In its daily report, the Ministry mentioned that hospitals received the bodies of three civilians, as well as 12 wounded people during the past 24 hours. Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 410 Palestinians have been killed, 1,134 others injured. *** Two Palestinians killed by Israeli gunfire in Gaza, amid ongoing ceasefire violations Saturday 27-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Two Palestinian citizens were shot dead by the Israeli occupation army in eastern and northern Gaza on Friday, while dozens of ceasefire violations were recorded on the 78th day of the truce agreement. According to Palestinian media sources, Israeli forces shot and killed a young man in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, one of the areas from which the Israeli army had withdrawn under the ceasefire agreement. Eyewitnesses said that Uday al-Maqadmah was killed by Israeli sniper fire while he was sitting outside Hafsa School, which shelters displaced families in Jabalia camp. Another young citizen died later after he came under fire from Israeli forces in the east of Gaza City. Meanwhile, the Israeli army carried out three demolition operations targeting civilian residential buildings in eastern Gaza City, with a particular focus on the area east of al-Tuffah neighborhood. Israeli warplanes also launched at least one airstrike on Gaza City early Friday, coinciding with the detonation of booby-trapped armored vehicles near al-Batsh cemetery east of al-Tuffah neighborhood. The eastern areas of Gaza City came under Israeli artillery fire, according to local residents, who also noted that Israeli helicopters opened fire towards Rafah in southern Gaza. Other attacks from warplanes, tanks and gunboats were also reported in different areas of southern Gaza. *** Israeli army launches renewed attacks on different Gaza areas Saturday 27-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation army continued launching aerial attacks early Saturday on different areas of the Gaza Strip, amid artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles. According to Palestinian media sources, Israeli warplanes carried out three successive airstrikes on eastern Khan Yunis, accompanied by heavy gunfire from military vehicles stationed in the area and intense aerial activity over southern Gaza. In the central governorate, Israeli helicopters opened fire towards the eastern areas of El-Buraij refugee camp. Israeli helicopters repeatedly opened fire at several sites in Rafah, south of Gaza, during the morning hours. In Gaza City, eastern neighborhoods came under heavy helicopter gunfire, along with artillery shelling that targeted the city’s eastern outskirts. *** 25 Palestinian bodies recovered from under rubble in Khan Yunis Friday 26-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Gaza’s Civil Defense announced on Thursday that its teams recovered the bodies of 25 Palestinians from under the rubble of a home in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. Among the victims were journalist Hiba El-'Abadla and her mother, who were killed during the Israeli genocidal war on the Strip. In a brief statement, Civil Defense confirmed that, in cooperation with forensic teams, the bodies were recovered from under the destroyed home of the Al-Astal family in the Al-Satar Al-Gharbi area. The remains of journalist Hiba Al-Abadleh and her mother were among those found. Earlier Thursday morning, the Civil Defense began excavation work to recover the bodies of those missing beneath the rubble of the home, which had been destroyed two years ago during Israeli bombardment. The Civil Defense has been conducting organized searches for the bodies of Palestinians buried under the ruins of homes and buildings destroyed during Israel’s two-year-long genocide campaign in Gaza. These efforts are supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Arab Committee for Gaza Reconstruction, the Emergency and Rapid Response Unit, forensic and medical examiners in Gaza City, as well as the Ministries of Health and Religious Endowments, relatives of the missing, and tribal groups, according to Civil Defense officials. They noted that their crews are working with extremely basic and outdated tools, as Israel continues to ban the entry of modern heavy machinery needed for rubble removal. Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect in Gaza on October 10, recovery operations for the victims have largely been uncoordinated and carried out by civilians due to the Civil Defense’s lack of proper equipment. Israel has refused to allow heavy machinery into Gaza to assist in lifting tons of rubble, severely hampering efforts to recover the bodies of Palestinians. According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, Israel has violated the humanitarian protocol of the ceasefire agreement by preventing the entry of “hundreds of heavy-duty vehicles” necessary to recover the bodies trapped beneath the rubble. In contrast, over the past two months, Israel allowed limited equipment into Gaza, but only to search for the remains of its own captives, while continuing to block the entry of similar equipment for recovering Palestinian remains. Identification of the deceased is being done by Palestinian families who have lost loved ones since the genocide began, using what remains of personal identifiers like clothing or body features, amid a complete lack of specialized medical devices. *** Israeli Shelling, airstrikes, and demolitions: Israeli violations in Gaza continue Friday 26-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces have committed since early Friday morning ten new violations of the ceasefire agreement intended to end the Israeli genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, local sources reported. According to the sources, Israeli forces carried out three demolition operations targeting civilian residential buildings in the eastern parts of Gaza City, specifically in the eastern al-Tuffah neighborhood. In parallel, Israeli warplanes launched at least one airstrike on Gaza City at dawn Friday, coinciding with the detonation of booby-trapped vehicles and armored vehicles near the al-Butsh Cemetery, east of El-Tuffa'h. Residents also reported Israeli artillery shelling in the eastern parts of Gaza City and confirmed that Israeli helicopters opened fire toward the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. In the southern region, Israeli helicopters intensified gunfire in the eastern and southern areas of Khan Younus, alongside two airstrikes targeting the city’s eastern neighborhoods. Sources added that Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward eastern Khan Younus, while Israeli naval gunboats heavily fired machine guns off the coast of the city. The military operations are part of a continued pattern of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, raising growing concerns about their impact on the already dire humanitarian and security situation in Gaza. On October 9, 2025, Israel and 'Hamas reached a three-phase ceasefire agreement, mediated by Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye, and under the sponsorship of US President Donald Trump. The second phase includes the formation of a temporary technocratic committee to manage the Gaza Strip, oversee reconstruction, establish a Peace Council, deploy an international force, and ensure the further withdrawal of Israeli troops, as well as the disarmament of 'Hamas. However, Israel continues to breach the ceasefire. According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, it has committed 875 violations, resulting in the killing of 411 Palestinians and injuring 1,112 others. Since October 8, 2023, Israel, with US backing, has launched a two-year genocide campaign in Gaza, leading to the killing of nearly 71,000 Palestinians, over 171,000 wounded, and massive destruction that has wiped out 90% of the civilian infrastructure. *** Al-'Awda Medical Complex halts its health services in Gaza due to fuel shortage Thursday 25-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Al-'Awda Health and Community Association (Al-'Awda Medical Complex) in Gaza announced early Thursday that it has suspended its services due to a complete depletion of diesel fuel. In a press statement, the association said, “To our valued community, we regret to inform you that Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat will temporarily cease operations due to the depletion of diesel fuel and the inability to operate generators. This disruption is beyond our control. Allah is in command of all things.” The association had previously warned of an imminent shutdown of its health services amid a severe crisis that has persisted since October 7, 2023, driven by a series of emergency situations and a shortage of operational resources critical to keeping its facilities running. Rafat 'Ali El-Majdalawi, the General Director of the association, explained that Al-Awda’s facilities have been operating under extremely complex conditions since that date, facing acute funding shortages, a lack of medical personnel, critical shortages of medications and supplies, and a worsening fuel crisis affecting the generation of power necessary for operations. He noted that for over 26 months, the association has followed a crisis-management approach to deal with the diesel and fuel supply issue, both essential to healthcare delivery. Strict conservation measures have been in place to make the most of the small amounts of fuel available. Currently, the remaining fuel stock across all facilities is dangerously low, only about 800 liters, while the daily minimum requirement is around 2,600 liters. This shortfall threatens a complete halt of all primary healthcare services, community protection programs, administrative operations, and could cause a total shutdown of the facilities. The most immediate danger, he said, is the total closure of Al-Awda Medical Complex in Nuseirat by midday Thursday, which would cut off health services for nearly 3,000 patients daily. It would also lead to the suspension of scheduled surgeries, natural and C-section deliveries for nearly 60 women per day, and the complete shutdown of emergency and pediatric inpatient care. Al-Majdalawi urgently appealed to national, humanitarian, and international bodies to intervene immediately and provide the diesel and fuel necessary to keep the facilities running. He stressed that the Al-Awda Medical Complex in Nuseirat is a critical pillar of Gaza’s healthcare system and bears a significant burden in responding to escalating medical and humanitarian needs. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý An illegal Israeli settler runs over Palestinian man during prayer east of Ramallah Thursday 25-December-2025 RAMALLAH, (PIC) A young Palestinian man sustained bruises on Thursday afternoon after being deliberately run over by an illegal Israeli settler while performing the 'Asr (afternoon) prayer near the entrance of Dair Jareer, east of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank. The incident comes amid a surge in settler attacks targeting Palestinian civilians and their property. Local sources reported that since Thursday morning, groups of settlers had blocked the entrance to Dair Jareer, assaulting residents and homes with stones and preventing vehicles from passing. During the closure, one young man stepped aside to pray near the main road when a settler, riding an off-road agricultural vehicle (a quad bike), drove from a distance and deliberately ran him over. After the attack, the settler threatened the man and ordered him to leave the area. The injured man was later transferred to a nearby medical center for treatment. Sources added that tension around the town had been building since the morning, when a settler entered between homes in Dair Jareer to graze cattle. Residents confronted him, prompting larger settler groups to storm the town’s entrance, escalating into confrontations. In a related development, Hassan Mleihat, General Coordinator of the Al-Baydar Rights Organization, said settler groups, accompanied by their horses, stormed areas surrounding homes in the Hamroush area of Sa’ir, north of al-Khalil, deliberately provoking residents. These actions occurred in full view of the Israeli police and military, with no intervention to stop the assaults. Meanwhile, in southern Nablus, settlers reportedly smashed the windows of a truck near the Za’tara checkpoint by throwing stones. In southern El-Khaleel (Hebron), settlers dressed in military uniforms detained several residents in the Rajoum I’lay area of Masafer Yatta, assaulted them, and arrested two brothers, while simultaneously releasing their livestock into agricultural fields, causing further damage. *** Israeli raids and kidnapping campaigns sweep West Bank, targeting multiple towns and cities Friday 26-December-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale raid across various areas of the occupied West Bank in the early hours of Friday morning. The campaign included home invasions, property vandalism, and the arrest of three Palestinian civilians. In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces re-arrested the blind cleric Shaikh 'Izzzuddeen El-'Amarna after raiding and ransacking his home in the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin. The raids also led to the arrest of Mu'hammed El-Silwadi in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, and Uday Salahat during an incursion into the Jabal Abu Dthuhair area in Jineen city. Nablus witnessed a military incursion from the Awarta checkpoint, with Israeli military vehicles spreading around Balata al-Balad and the area of Joseph’s Tomb in the eastern part of the city. Several homes were raided in the Balata refugee camp. In a related development, Israeli forces stormed a mosque in the Balata El-Balad area, sparking tension among residents. Further raids occurred in the Ras Al-‘Aroud area between the towns of Sa’ir and El-Shuyoukh, northeast of El-Khaleel (Hebron), leading to clashes with local youths. No injuries or arrests were reported. The campaign extended to the towns of Dura (southwest of al-Khalil), Aqaba (north of Tubas), and included incursions into the city of Tubas, Al-Fara’a refugee camp to the south, and the town of Beita south of Nablus. The raids are part of Israel’s ongoing escalation policy in the West Bank, marked by daily arrests and military raids. Earlier on Thursday evening, a child was shot by Israeli forces in the town of Bir Nabala, northwest of Occupied Jerusalem, as the army set up a military checkpoint southeast of Bethlehem. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its teams transported a 17-year-old boy from the Bir Nabala emergency center after he sustained three gunshot wounds to the hand, chest, and leg. The Jerusalem Governorate stated that Israeli forces stormed the towns of Al-Jib and Bir Nabala, sparking confrontations during which two citizens were shot, one of whom was arrested. The Israeli forces also raided a health center in Bir Nabala. Meanwhile, Israeli forces assaulted a young man at the entrance of Oweis neighborhood in Ras al-Amud, in the town of Silwan, and blocked the road leading to the area. Separately, on Thursday evening, Israeli forces erected a military checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Manshiya village, southeast of Bethlehem. Khedr Abu Deih, the head of Al-Manshiya village council, reported that the army stopped and searched vehicles at the checkpoint and checked citizens’ IDs, causing a major traffic jam. It’s worth noting that after 7 pm, the Al-Manshiya entrance becomes the only access point for multiple villages from Beit Fajjar and Marah Rabah to the towns of Surif and Sa’ir in the northern al-Khalil region. *** Large-scale Israeli raids, kidnappings across the West Bank targeting dozens of Palestinians Thursday 25-December-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a large-scale campaign of raids and kidnappings across various parts of the West Bank early Thursday, detaining around 30 Palestinian citizens, 21 of whom were later released after field interrogations. According to the PIC correspondent, 21 Palestinians were detained from the village of Salem, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank. Many of them were former prisoners, and all were released following field questioning. In the northwest of Occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces stormed the home of the political writer and researcher Sari Orabi in Rafat village and arrested him. Orabi is a former detainee who had spent several years in Israeli prisons. The IOF also re-arrested another former prisoner after raiding his home in Arura village north of Ramallah. In the same village, two other citizens, a father and son, were arrested after their home was searched. Further north of Ramallah, the IOF also arrested a young man during a raid on the village of Qarawat Bani Zeid, according to local sources. Two Palestinians were also detained in Qalqilya city in the northern West Bank and Beit Wazan, west of Nablus. The PIC reporter added that four citizens were arrested from al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus. Additionally, the Israeli forces stormed several areas across the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, searching homes and ransacking belongings. Local residents reported that the raids extended to Kafr Aqab north of Jerusalem, parts of Qalqilya including the Qara’an neighborhood, and parts of Nablus, particularly the northern mountain neighborhood, through the Huwara and Deir Sharaf military checkpoints. The town of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya was also included. Raids further extended to Bal’a, east of Tulkarem, the Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah, as well as central Ramallah, where Israeli forces fired sound and tear gas grenades, including during their raid on the city of al-Bireh. Local sources added that the IOF also stormed the village of Dar az-Zeir south of Bethlehem, conducting arrests, along with raids in Tamun south of Tubas, Husan west of Bethlehem, and the city of Jericho, as part of a continuous and widespread Israeli military campaign throughout the West Bank. *** Palestinian youth injured in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Israeli municipality approves new settlement tunnel Thursday 25-December-2025 El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) A Palestinian youth was shot by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday afternoon near the separation wall in the town of Al-Ram, north of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews treated a 25-year-old man who was wounded by live ammunition near the separation wall in Al-Ram, close to Jerusalem, before transferring him to a hospital for medical treatment. Israeli occupation forces frequently target Palestinian civilians and workers as they attempt to cross the separation wall to reach their workplaces in Jerusalem and 1948 occupied Palestine. Meanwhile, the occupation municipality in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) approved the implementation of a new tunnel project south of the city, in a move reflecting the escalation of Judaization policies and the deepening of settlement plans in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and its surroundings. El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate stated on Thursday that the Israeli occupation municipality approved the project with an estimated budget of around 10 million shekels. In a post on its Facebook page, the governorate explained that the approval came through cooperation between the occupation municipality, the so-called “Civil Administration,” and the Israeli Ministry of Transportation, with the budget allocated for the project in the Wadi Al-Darajah area. The project aims to link the “Har Homa” settlement, built on the lands of Jabal Abu Ghneim south of Jerusalem, to the Begin bypass road, as part of efforts to strengthen settlement connectivity and expand settlers’ infrastructure. The tunnel project is located in Wadi Al-Darajah, an area separating several Palestinian villages south of Jerusalem, most notably Sur Baher and Umm Tuba, threatening further isolation of Palestinian communities and restricting their urban expansion. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian home in Turmus Ayya Friday 26-December-2025 RAMALLAH, (PIC) A group of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian home in the town of Turmus Ayya, located north of Ramallah, on Friday. According to local sources, settlers from the illegal “Shilo” settlement assaulted the home of the Abu Awad family. No injuries or property damage were reported. The West Bank continues to witness a surge in settler violent attacks, often timed with agricultural and harvest seasons. These attacks aim to pressure Palestinian farmers to abandon their land, facilitating further settlement expansion. According to data from the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission for November, settlers carried out 621 attacks across the West Bank targeting residents and their property. Since the start of the genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces and settlers have killed over 1,103 Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem, wounded nearly 11,000, and arrested more than 21,000 people. *** =============================================================================================================================== ÈöÓúãö Çááåö ÇáÑøóÍúãóÜٰäö ÇáÑøóÍöíãö "ãöäú ÃóÌúáö Ðóٰáößó ßóÊóÈúäóÇ Úóáóìٰ Èóäöí ÅöÓúÑóÇÆöíáó Ãóäøóåõ ãóäú ÞóÊóáó äóÝúÓðÇ ÈöÛóíúÑö äóÝúÓò Ãóæú ÝóÓóÇÏò Ýöí ÇáúÃóÑúÖö ÝóßóÃóäøóãóÇ ÞóÊóáó ÇáäøóÇÓó ÌóãöíÚðÇ" (ÇáúãóÇÆöÏóÉõ ¡ 5: 32). In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.
