In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Mohammad Abu Mughaiseeb, MSF’s deputy medical coordinator in Gaza, said, “The health system was already fragile before the war, what remains is merely a barely functioning shell.” He warned of a new horror facing the healthcare sector as Israel-backed food distribution points have turned into kill zones. “These locations have tripled the daily influx of wounded people compared to what it was before the establishment of the distribution centers,” he added. Abu Mughaiseeb emphasized that many injured civilians die before reaching hospitals. “We’re seeing severed limbs, severe infections, shattered bones, and torn arteries requiring urgent surgeries and intensive care.” But the capacity to perform such procedures has been drastically compromised by the ongoing genocide. He confirmed that surgical and intensive care services are collapsing in the few remaining hospitals in Gaza. Abu Mughaiseeb concluded, “Without serious action, there will be nothing left to save, not the hospitals, not the patients, not even the future.” *** PGMO: Israel is starving 100,000 children and patients in Gaza Sunday 17-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza has accused Israel of deliberately starving the Palestinian people in Gaza as it continues to prevent the entry of vital food items into the enclave. The GMO’s statement on Telegram said that Israel continues to implement “a systematic policy of engineered starvation and slow killing against more than 2.4 million people in Gaza, including more than 1.2 million Palestinian children.” It stressed that the biggest victims of the crime are children and sick people. “More than 40,000 infants (under one year old) are suffering severe malnutrition, and their lives are threatened by gradual death,” the statement said, adding that more than 100,000 children and patients are also in the same situation. It underlined that Israel, despite international condemnation, continues to prevent the entry into the enclave of baby formula, nutritional supplements, and hundreds of other essential items, including frozen meat, fish, cheese, dairy products, and frozen fruits and vegetables. In a related context, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Gaza has reported that the number of Palestinians wounded by Israeli fire in the Gaza Strip has tripled daily since the Israeli-US Gaza Humanitarian Foundation started its operations at aid distribution centers. “Now we have a new horror: the so-called ‘food distribution points’ supported by Israel through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). Places that are supposed to support starving Palestinians have become killing fields. The attacks at these sites are increasing the daily influx of wounded people, as Israeli forces open fire on civilians gathering for food,” Dr. Mohamed Abu Mughaiseb, MSF deputy medical coordinator, said recently as he spoke about the disastrous healthcare situation on the ground and called, once again, for a ceasefire. “Before October 7, 2023, Gaza’s health system was already fragile. Today, it is barely surviving, overwhelmed by massive patient numbers, collapsing supply chains, deepening hunger, and the targeting of civilians,” Dr. Abu Mughaiseb explained. “Preventable deaths and permanent disabilities are our daily reality. At the same time, according to the WHO, at least 14,500 people are in desperate need of medical evacuation for specialized medical care that they cannot receive in Gaza, as there are no services available. Instead of facilitating these evacuations, the Israeli authorities arbitrarily block or delay them,” the MSF official added. “Gaza’s health care system is a broken shell, barely functioning, crushed by the deliberate destruction of every aspect of life here, including the very institutions meant to save lives,” he said. *** Palestinian-American nurse in Gaza: Malnutrition strikes medical staff Sunday 17-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Standing between patient beds at the Nasir Medical Complex, the last functioning medical facility in southern Gaza, is Amanda Nasir (Nasser), an American nurse of Palestinian origin. She describes the grim reality of Gaza’s healthcare sector, which is collapsing under a continuous Israeli campaign she calls genocidal. She emphasizes that the effects of malnutrition and starvation have started to impact the medical staff themselves. Since arriving in Gaza about a week ago, Amanda Nasir (Nasser), 39, has been working in the emergency department, flooded with casualties and patients, particularly those suffering from complications due to malnutrition caused by Israel’s intensified siege, which blocks food, water, and medicine, the Anadolu Agency said. Since 7 October 2023, with US support, Israel has been waging a genocidal war in Gaza, marked by killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring international calls and rulings from the International Court of Justice to stop. To date, Israeli actions have killed 61,897 Palestinians and injured 155,660, mostly women and children. By last Monday, Gaza’s health ministry reported that among the dead were approximately 18,430 children and 9,300 women, including 8,505 mothers. A catastrophic situation Amanda Nasir (Nasser), part of a humanitarian medical mission at Nasir Medical Complex in Khan Younus, describes her experience as “deeply moving.” She characterizes the situation as catastrophic, warning that the healthcare system at the last functioning hospital in southern Gaza is near collapse. “The medical resources are extremely scarce, and the healthcare staff are under enormous pressure and constant fear amid ongoing Israeli bombardments,” she told Anadolu. The overwhelming number of daily casualties, especially severe injuries, is placing unbearable strain on the teams. “Most of the injuries we receive are severe and horrific: gunshot wounds to the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and limbs, in addition to complex fractures,” she adds. She notes that many of the injured are young teens to people in their early twenties, and their injuries are often fatal. With limited medical equipment and personnel, doctors are forced to perform amputations and major surgeries, and unfortunately, not everyone receives treatment. The hospital’s resources are so limited that staff must make heartbreaking decisions, choosing who receives life-saving care like ventilators. Despite the dire conditions, Nasser remains motivated and driven by her duty to assist, hoping to save as many lives as possible. Beyond medical crisis: Malnutrition and collapse According to Gaza’s health officials, since October 2023, more than 18,000 people have been wounded needing rehabilitation, including 4,800 amputees, of whom 718 were children. Gaza faces one of the worst humanitarian disasters in its history. Starvation is deeply interwoven with ongoing genocidal attacks. Nasir describes the compounded suffering: medical staff and patients are worn thin by starvation. “Malnutrition is visible among patients… even the healthcare staff are gaunt and dehydrated, working long hours.” She reports witnessing infant deaths in the hospital due to food shortages. By early 2025, Gaza’s Ministry of Health recorded approximately 28,000 cases of malnutrition, resulting in 239 deaths, including 106 children. Nasir, proud of her Palestinian heritage, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality she received despite the trauma and repeated displacements. She feels safe among the people she came to serve. Her message to the world mixes sorrow with resolve: Gaza needs an immediate ceasefire and a free, independent Palestinian state. She called on journalists to keep amplifying the truth, and urged a boycott of US, European, and Israeli products that support the genocide. *** 'Hamas: Israel’s approval of Gaza City invasion is a declaration of a new wave of brutal genocide Sunday 17-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) 'Hamas said that the “intention of the Chief of Staff of the terrorist Israeli army to approve today plans to occupy Gaza City and accelerate military operations there is a declaration of launching a new wave of brutal genocide and criminal displacement of hundreds of thousands of Gaza City residents and displaced people who have taken refuge there”. In a statement on Sunday, Hamas stressed that this criminal declaration of committing a major war crime in Gaza City reflects the clearest image of Israel’s arrogance, its disregard for international law, and its insistence on continuing the genocidal war that has been ongoing for more than twenty-two months, under a criminal American cover and amid shameful international silence and incapacity. It emphasized that the talk about bringing tents into southern Gaza under the label of “humanitarian arrangements” is blatant deception intended to cover up a monstrous crime that Israel is preparing to carry out. This comes at a time when the United Nations itself affirms its rejection of these measures, considering them devoid of the most basic humanitarian standards and representing a criminal use of humanitarian pressure on civilians to achieve political and military goals. 'Hamas added that what is happening in Gaza is not isolated from the West Bank, where daily raids continue, along with armed settler attacks and the burning of property, scenes that reflect the unity of the Zionist project built on expelling Palestinians from their land and stripping them of their rights, leading up to the Judaization of Islamic and Christian holy sites. It also pointed out that the criminal (Israeli premier) Netanyahu and his government’s steps and attempts to displace the Palestinian people and uproot them from their land are accompanied by an explicit unveiling of his true intentions to establish what is called “Greater Israel” at the expense of Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and others. This dangerous plan, Hamas said, requires and necessitates “supporting our people and their resistance as the first line of defense for Arab and Islamic countries against Zionist ambitions.” 'Hamas affirmed that “we are facing a critical moment that requires a unified national stance to build a comprehensive resistance strategy to confront the criminal schemes aiming to uproot our people and erase their identity.” It further stressed that Arab and Islamic countries should take clear steps to confront this “fascist entity” in light of the projects it declares, targeting the countries and peoples of the region. *** ****** Gaza death toll rises to 61,944 as Israel continues to bomb the Strip GAZA, August 17, 2025 (WAFA, PIC) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,944, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023. The Ministry added that the death toll has risen to 155,886 since the start of the aggression, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams. The Ministry indicated that 47 people were killed including 9 who were recovered, and 226 wounded others were taken to hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours. The death toll and injuries since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, has reached 10,400 and 43,845 others were wounded. The Ministry explained that the number of slain aid-seekers taken to hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 14, with 132 injured, bringing the total number of slain aid-seekers at hospitals to 1,938, and the total number of injured to 14,420. Gaza hospitals recorded seven deaths due to starvation and malnutrition over the past 24 hours, including two children, bringing the total number to 258, including 110 children. K.T. *** Dozens massacred, wounded in Israeli strikes on Gaza Sunday 17-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Sunday, to carry out intensive deadly strikes and target civilians in different areas of the Gaza Strip, especially in Gaza City. According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine. According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli airstrike on a house in Gaza City that killed a citizen and injured others. Some civilians suffered injuries after being struck by boxes of airdropped aid in al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis. The Israeli army also launched aerial attacks on tents in the east of the bombed site of Tayba apartment buildings, killing four people and injuring others, including children. Several casualties were reported, including seven martyrs, after Israeli drones bombed an area near the Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City. More people were martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near distribution points in separate areas of Gaza. Seven people, including two children, were pronounced dead due to starvation and malnutrition, according to Gaza’s health ministry. The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women. Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks. *** Several civilians, including two aid seekers, killed in northern Gaza by Israeli fire GAZA, August 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Several civilians, including two aid seekers, were killed this evening by Israeli occupation gunfire in the northern Gaza Strip. A medical source confirmed that two civilians were killed and several others injured after Israeli forces opened fire on people seeking aid in the Zikim area, northwest of the Gaza Strip. In a separate attack, a young man was killed when Israeli warplanes bombed the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Medical sources in Gaza hospitals reported that since dawn today, 42 civilians, including 22 aid seekers, have been killed by Israeli occupation fire across various areas of the Gaza Strip. T.R. *** Dozens injured by Israeli gunfire while waiting for aid northwest of Gaza GAZA, August 17, 2025 (WAFA) – The field hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in the al-Saraya area received this evening more than 40 injuries among civilians who were waiting for aid in the northwestern part of the Gaza Strip. Earlier, a medical source confirmed that two civilians were killed and several others injured by Israeli occupation gunfire in the Zikim area, northwest of the Strip. A young man was also killed in an airstrike that targeted the al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 61,944, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 155,886 others have also been injured. This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews. T.R. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý IOFs kidnap several Palestinians during raids in the West Bank Sunday 17-August-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed homes and kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in different areas of the West Bank last night and Sunday morning. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped MP Anwer Zaboun and two other citizens after ransacking their homes in Bethlehem City. In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the IOFs detained and abused over 10 citizens for several hours after ransacking their homes in the Wadi ash-Sheikh area of Bait Ummar town before releasing them later. Two citizens were also kidnapped following an IOFs raid in the southern area of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) City. In Ramallah, two brothers were taken prisoners following an IOFs raid in Umm Safa village. In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped two young men from Burqa village and another one at the checkpoint of Dair Sharaf. The IOFs also kidnapped four citizens, including three brothers, after raiding homes in Duma village, south of Nablus. The Israeli occupation forces also broke into and ransacked the house of an ex-detainee in the new refugee camp of 'Askar in eastern Nablus before leaving without making arrests. Two other citizens were kidnapped following overnight raids on several homes in Toubas City. Two Palestinian workers were also kidnapped by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police officers, during a raid in Israel (1948 occupied Palestine). 18 kidnapped. *** PPS: 48 female prisoners in Damon prison facing systematic repression Sunday 17-August-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported on Sunday that the administration of Damon Prison carried out four assaults against female prisoners during the first half of this month. In a press release, the group explained that the prison authorities assaulted the women by shackling them, forcibly removing them from their cells in a humiliating and degrading manner, forcing them to lower their heads, and taking them to the prison yard where they were further mistreated. In two of these assaults, tear gas and police dogs were used. The PPS indicated that the assaults occurred between August 4 and August 14. It stressed that these attacks are not new but rather represent a consistent and systematic policy practiced by the prison system against all male and female detainees, which intensified significantly since the start of the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza. It added that the conditions in which the female prisoners are held are tragic and harsh. Despite their efforts to confront these policies through collective resilience, they are deprived of even the most basic rights. The statement also highlighted that the women suffer from hunger due to the small quantity and poor quality of food provided, some of which is spoiled and inedible. They also face insect infestations and skin conditions due to high temperatures and humidity, compounded by the lack of ventilation. There is also a severe shortage of essential feminine hygiene supplies. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Dozens of settlers defile Aqsa Mosque Sunday 17-August-2025 OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC) Scores of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site. According to local sources, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection. During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site. In a related context, Palestinian religious and national figures and institutions have urged Palestinian citizens to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque to protect it against desecration by Jewish settlers. *** Colonist storm Palestinian house, vandalize it near Ramallah RAMALLAH, August 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists attacked a house in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, on Sunday. Local sources reported that a group of colonists raided the house of citizen Muhammad Abayat in the eastern area and attempted to assault him, causing material damage. Residents confronted them and forced them to withdraw to the new outpost on Jabal al-Ras. It is noteworthy that Israeli forces detained siblings Adam and Adham Muhammad Musleh from the village at dawn on Sunday. K.T. *** Colonists attack village and town near Ramallah RAMALLAH, August 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked this evening the village of Aboud, northwest of Ramallah Governorate, and the town of Deir Dibwan, east of the governorate, according to security sources. Sources told WAFA that colonists attacked the Wadi al-Limoun area in Aboud and the outskirts of Deir Dibwan, and gathered in the area. However, no injuries were reported. T.R. *** Settlers storm W. Bank areas, attack property Sunday 17-August-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) A horde of extremist Jewish settlers stormed on Sunday Turmus Ayya village in the northeast of Ramallah and carried out an attack on a Palestinian car. According to local sources, settlers wreaked havoc on a private car belonging to a Palestinian citizen and damaged its windows in Turmus Ayya village. In Jericho, another group of settlers grazed their livestock on swaths of land and near homes belonging to the residents of the Shallal al-Auja community as part of a daily provocative practice aimed at forcing the villagers to leave the area. Last night, settlers destroyed plastic tanks filled with water and pipelines in the Palestinian community of Nab’ Ghazal near al-Farisiya village in the northern Jordan Valley. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** Egypt rejects participating in displacement of Palestinians CAIRO, August 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Egypt has reiterated its categorical rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people and called on countries not to participate in this heinous crime. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated that it "is following with deep concern the recent reports of Israeli consultations with some countries regarding accepting the displacement of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip to their territories. This is part of an unacceptable Israeli policy aimed at emptying the Palestinian land of its inhabitants, occupying it, and liquidating the Palestinian cause." The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified in a statement issued on Sunday that Egypt, through its contacts with countries that have repeatedly agreed to receive the Palestinian people, has indicated its rejection of these reprehensible plans. Egypt reiterated its categorical rejection of any Israeli plans aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their historic land, whether in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, under any pretext, justification, or label, whether the displacement is forced or "voluntary" through policies of starvation, land confiscation, settlement, and making life impossible on Palestinian land. Egypt also affirmed that it will not accept or participate in such displacement, considering it a historical injustice with no moral or legal justification. It will not allow it, as it will inevitably lead to the liquidation of the Palestinian cause. It called on all peace-loving countries of the world to do so to refrain from involvement in this immoral crime, which contravenes all principles of international humanitarian law, constitutes a war crime and ethnic cleansing, and represents a clear violation of the four Geneva Conventions. It also warned of the historical and legal responsibility that will fall on any party involved in this heinous crime, and the political consequences and repercussions it may have with regional and international dimensions.
