While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

'Hamas calls on the international community to take action to stop the starvation crime in Gaza

Thursday 17-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

“The statements of the Zionist War Minister Katz on blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza is a pressure method,” 'Hamas Movement said on Thursday, stressing that his remarks represent a renewed public acknowledgment of committing the war crime of using starvation as a weapon, and depriving civilians of basic life essentials, including food, medicine, water and fuel, for the seventh consecutive week.

'Hamas emphasized, in a press statement, that the “terrorist minister Ben-Gvir’s statement calling for not bringing even one gram of aid into the Strip adds to several statements and positions issued by this Zionist fascist junta, which continues to defy all laws and conventions, and declares its clear intention to continue this brutal genocide.”

It is shameful that these criminal statements pass without facing clear stances from the international community, the UN and the UN Security Council, as well as international judicial bodies that should condemn them and bring the perpetrators to account, Hamas added.

The Movement renewed its call on the international community to “take decisive action to stop the crime of starvation and the ongoing siege on Gaza”, urging the International Criminal Court to “prosecute the Zionist terrorists, Katz and Ben-Gvir, as well as all occupation officials, and hold them accountable for their brutal crimes against humanity”.

Martyr in Israeli drone air strike in southern Lebanon

Thursday 17-April-2025

BEIRUT, (PIC)

A Lebanese citizen was martyred on Thursday in an Israeli drone air strike that targeted the town of 'Aytaroun in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

An Israeli drone hit a motorcycle with a guided missile on the Naqaa road in 'Aytaroun, according to the National News Agency (NNA).

The attack resulted in injuries, while the agency announced later on that one person was martyred as a result of the Israeli aggression.

Even Though the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon came into effect on November 27, 2024, the Israeli occupation committed more than 1,260 violations, leaving at least 100 martyrs and more than 330 wounded.

On November 27, 2024, a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect, which stipulated that Israeli forces would withdraw from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within sixty days.

The occupation authorities shirked from completing their withdrawal from southern Lebanon by February 18, contrary to the agreement, as they carried out a partial withdrawal and continued to occupy five major Lebanese hills, within the areas they occupied in the last war.

Khan Younus Municipality: Israeli control of Morag Axis wipes out our food basket

Thursday 17-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

A spokesperson for the Khan Younus Municipality in southern Gaza has issued a stark warning about the escalating humanitarian catastrophe in the city, following the Israeli military’s takeover of vast agricultural lands east of the city, particularly along the Morag axis—previously the last remaining source of local food production.

Speaking to the press on Thursday, Sa-ib Al-Laqqan stated that Israeli forces have continued to seize control of eastern and southern neighborhoods, including Salam, Qizan Abu Rashwan, and parts of Qizan Al-Najjar, through a policy of systematic destruction and forced displacement using artillery fire and airstrikes aimed at depopulating the areas and establishing what the occupation refers to as a “security buffer.”

Al-Laqqan explained that these areas, along with the agricultural zone of Al-Mawasi, constituted the primary source of food for the city. However, Israel’s ongoing military offensive and the mass displacement of around 800,000 Palestinians into the Al-Mawasi region have led to an almost total cessation of agricultural activity. This, he said, has effectively deprived Khan Younus of both local food production and the ability to import food due to the continuing blockade.

On 14 April, Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant announced that Israeli forces had seized control of the Morag axis—a strategic corridor spanning 12 kilometers east to west across Gaza, dividing Khan Younus from Rafa'h. He claimed the territory between the Philadelphia Corridor and Morag now forms part of Israel’s so-called “security belt.”

According to Al-Laqqan, the humanitarian situation extends far beyond food insecurity. The water sector is also collapsing, with key infrastructure severely damaged. He noted that the Israeli army targeted the Ma’an water line east of Khan Younus, which supplies six main neighborhoods, leaving more than 100,000 residents without access to clean water. Additionally, the city’s supply from the Israeli-run Mekorot water network has been cut off.

Fuel shortages have further compounded the crisis, halting the operation of water wells, desalination plants, and sewage pumps. “The city stands on the brink of total service collapse,” Laqqan warned, stressing the absence of any effective international response. “The occupation is deliberately targeting the essential pillars of daily life—from food and water to health and public infrastructure—in a clear attempt to exacerbate the humanitarian crisis.”

He appealed to the international community and humanitarian agencies to urgently intervene by delivering fuel and emergency aid, to help save the lives of over 400,000 people facing hunger and thirst in a city now completely besieged and cut off from the outside world.

In March, Israeli forces cut off the limited electricity supply to Gaza’s main water desalination plant in the central region. A few days later, the second-largest facility also ceased operations due to fuel shortages, exacerbated by Israel’s continued closure of all border crossings since early March—a policy seen as part of the broader campaign of collective punishment.

Since Israel resumed its full-scale assault on 18 March, the Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported 1,691 Palestinians killed and 4,464 injured, the vast majority of them women and children.

Overall, the Israeli military campaign—carried out with direct American support since 7 October 2023—has resulted in over 167,000 Palestinian casualties, including tens of thousands of women and children, and more than 11,000 people remain missing under the rubble.

Israel has maintained a blockade on Gaza for 18 years. Today, over 1.5 million of Gaza’s 2.4 million residents are homeless, as the war has flattened entire neighborhoods. The Strip has now entered a phase of famine due to the ongoing closure of border crossings, which has choked off humanitarian assistance.

In the 40,000 Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, one in ten bombs did not explode

Thursday 17-April-2025

LONDON, (PIC)

According to the UN Mine Action Service, one in 10 bombs fired by the Israeli occupation army on the Gaza Strip did not explode.

Reuters quoted the UN Human Rights Office as saying that the removal of unexploded bombs in the Gaza Strip has not commenced due to Israeli restrictions as well as the resumption of the war on March 18 after the collapse of the ceasefire agreement.

International efforts to remove unexploded bombs in Gaza during periods of calm have been hampered by Israeli occupation authorities, aid officials said.

At least 23 people have been killed and 162 injured by unexploded ordnance since the start of the war in Gaza, according to UN data.

By October 2024, the Israeli occupation army stated that it had already carried out more than 40,000 air strikes on Gaza. The UN Mine Action Service estimates that between one in 10 and one in 20 bombs fired on Gaza have failed to explode, with US-made bombs among those used by Israel.

Between March and July of last year, the occupation authorities rejected requests to import more than 20 types of mine clearance equipment, representing a total of more than 2,000 items, from binoculars to armored vehicles to detonation cables, according to a document prepared by two humanitarian demining organizations.

Under the 1907 Hague Convention, Israel is obligated as an “occupying power” to remove or assist in the removal of remnants of war that endanger the lives of civilians, according to the UN Human Rights Office and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The ICRC defines unexploded ordnance as remnants of war from weapons that did not explode when activated and were left behind following an armed conflict, such as bombs, rockets, artillery shells and grenades. These munitions kill and injure thousands of people around the world every year.

In addition to time and cost, other challenges lie in how to extract these munitions in a safe manner. According to the UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS), unexploded bombs are underground. In the case of Gaza, they are hidden under tons of rubble, which the UN estimates at 50 million tons.

Palestinian detainee dies in Israeli custody

RAMALLAH, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Society announced the death of prisoner Mus'ab 'Hasan 'Udayli, 20, from the village of Osareen, south of Nablus, at Soroka Hospital last night.

In a joint statement, the Commission and the PPS said that 'Udayli had been detained since March 22, 2024, and was sentenced to one year and one month in prison. He was scheduled to be released three days later.

The statement indicated that 'Udayli's death adds to the list of prisoners, who have been killed as a result of the organized crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation prison system in an unprecedented manner since the beginning of the ongoing genocide.

He pointed out that with the killing of detainee 'Udayli, the number of detainees who have been killed  since the Israeli aggression has risen to 64. These are the only ones whose identities are known, given the ongoing crime of enforced disappearance. At least 40 of them are from Gaza.

They also renewed their demand for the international human rights system to move forward in taking effective decisions to hold the occupation leaders accountable for the war crimes they continue to commit against the Palestinian people, and to impose sanctions on the occupation.

'Hamas: The martyrdom of prisoner 'Udaili proves brutal abuse of Palestinians in Israeli jails

Thursday 17-April-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement said that the martyrdom of prisoner Mus'ab 'Udaili, 20, from the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus, proves that the “Zionist occupation and its fascist prisons service continue to take revenge of and torture Palestinian prisoners, depriving them of the most basic human rights, while continuing the policy of medical neglect, which means slow killing of detainees in Israeli occupation prisons.”

The Movement mourned the martyr 'Udaili, who passed away in the Israeli Soroka Hospital last night, noting that he had been held captive since 3/22/2024, and was sentenced to 13 months of actual imprisonment.

'Hamas pointed out that his martyrdom came on the eve of Palestinian Prisoner’s Day and with the approach of his freedom, as he was supposed to be set free after three days.

It added that this crime raises the number of martyrs among prisoners since the onset of the genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023 to 63 martyrs, which is a dangerous unprecedented number that shows that Israel continues its abuse and attacks against prisoners, not caring about human rights demands and appeals to provide them with humane treatment as stipulated in international conventions and laws.

The Movement warned against the continuation of this criminal policy pursued by Israel against Palestinian prisoners, as holding thousands of them captive under harsh and inhumane conditions with torture, starvation and medical neglect, endangers their lives at any given moment.

'Hamas renewed its call to all free people of the world and human rights and lawful authorities to pressure Israel and hold it accountable for its crimes against the Palestinians, and to support the prisoners in light of the tragic and difficult conditions they are subjected to.

Mohammed Raba’i, head of the Twaneh Village Council, told WAFA that a colonist dressed in Israeli military uniform opened fire on 60-year-old Haj Said Mohammad Al-Amour while he was working on his land in the Al-Rakeez area of Masafer Yatta. Al-Amour sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

Raba’i added that Al-Amour has previously survived multiple assassination attempts by Israeli colonists, who have repeatedly threatened to kill him if he did not leave his land.

In recent years, Israeli occupation authorities have intensified efforts to displace Palestinian communities from the area, which has been designated as a so-called “firing zone” for military training.

Residents face constant harassment, home demolitions, and violent attacks from colonists seeking to expand illegal outposts. In 2022, the Israeli High Court controversially approved the forced expulsion of over 1,000 Palestinians from the area, a decision widely condemned by international human rights organizations.

IOFs storm West Bank areas, kidnap Palestinians from homes

Thursday 17-April-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed different West Bank areas and kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens from their homes last night and at dawn Thursday.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped some citizens following raids on homes in Tammoun town, south of Toubas.

The sources added that resistance fighters clashed with the Israeli occupation forces during the IOFs raid in Tammoun.

The IOFs also stormed 'Anabta town in eastern Toulkarm and the neighborhoods of Al-Makhfiya and Rafeedya in Nablus City, with no reported kidnappings.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), a large number of Israeli soldiers spread in Al-Sammou' town and blocked several roads as hordes of the illegal Israeli settlers flocked to the area to visit historic sites.

The IOFs reportedly kidnapped Al-Shaikh Wajeeh Abu 'Hadeed from his home in the southern area of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

In Jineen, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Muhandiseen housing area in Qabatya town, with no reported raids or kidnappings.

Israeli occupation forces storm archeological site near Hebron

HEBRON, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, on Thursday to secure the entry of colonists to the ancient Carmel Pool.

Media activist Osama Makhamreh noted that the occupation forces surrounded the Carmel archaeological site, closed roads leading to it, and that snipers were deployed on the rooftops of several houses. The aim was to secure the entry of dozens of colonists to the archaeological site to perform biblical rituals under the pretext of Jewish holidays.

Makhareh added that the pool site is a historical archaeological site dug by the Canaanites to collect rainwater and spring water for irrigation of livestock and crops.

Israeli occupation army forces Palestinian family to evacuate their home near Toulkarm

TULKARM, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Thursday forced a Palestinian family to evacuate their homes located along the apartheid separation wall west of the town of Zaita, north of Toulkarm.

Zaita Mayor Muhannad Jada'a told WAFA that an Israeli occupation army force raided the homes of the Abu al-Ezz family and forced them to leave within half an hour, without providing any justification.

He added that the occupation forces evacuated seven homes belonging to the Abul 'Izz family, who were forced to move to the homes of relatives inside the town.

Jada'a explained that this is not the first time the family has been subjected to such a measure. Israeli occupation forces have deliberately carried out raids and evictions during their holidays and special occasions, disregarding the presence of children, women, and the elderly.

He pointed out that this time the eviction was widespread, encompassing a larger number of homes, raising concerns that the occupation intends to impose a new reality on the area adjacent to the wall.

Thousands of Israeli colonists break into Jerusalem's Aqsa Mosque on Passover

JERUSALEM, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

Thousands of colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Bab al-Rahma Thursday, the fifth day of the Jewish Passover holiday.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported in a statement that thousands of colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa compound from the Mughrabi Gate in groups and performed Talmudic rituals.

The governorate added that extremist Israeli Knesset member Zvi Sukkot from the Religious Zionism Party performed the epic prostration in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Thousands of colonists also stormed the Western Wall plaza west of Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform the so-called "Priest's Blessing" prayer on the fifth day of the Jewish Passover holiday.

The occupation police imposed strict security measures, transforming the mosque and its surroundings into a military points, preventing many citizens from entering and confiscating their ID cards.

Local sources said that colonists stormed the Bab al-Rahma Cemetery and performed Talmudic rituals simultaneously with the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, a blatant violation of the sanctity of the cemetery.

UNRWA: No aid has entered Gaza since March 2

NEW YORK, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) —

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced today that no humanitarian aid has entered the Gaza Strip since March 2, marking the longest period of aid blockade since the beginning of the Israeli aggression.

In a series of posts on its official X account, UNRWA stated that the current suspension of aid is three times longer than the initial blockade imposed at the start of the war. The agency warned that the ongoing lack of humanitarian access is severely hampering relief operations.

UNRWA also pointed out that approximately 69% of the Gaza Strip is now under evacuation orders, following the Israeli military’s issuance of at least 20 displacement directives. According to UN estimates, around 420,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced again since the resumption of Israeli attacks on Gaza.

The agency warned that the renewed bombardment, combined with the complete absence of humanitarian supplies, is critically undermining its ability to meet basic needs, pointing to severe shortages in food, clean water, sanitation, shelter, and medical care.

Earlier this month, UNRWA reported that 1.9 million Palestinians — roughly 85% of Gaza’s population — have been forcibly displaced amid relentless bombardment, widespread destruction, and fear.

UN: No aid to Gaza in two months and critical medicine shortage endangers lives

Thursday 17-April-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations said that Israel continues to obstruct the distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza, noting that 500,000 people have been displaced from their homes since March 18.

Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Stéphane Dujarric, said in a press conference on Thursday that aid has not entered the Gaza Strip for nearly two months. Humanitarian workers still face difficulties carrying out their missions, and Israel only allowed two of six planned humanitarian aid operations to proceed on Wednesday.

The UN indicated that the restrictions imposed by Israel on humanitarian access are impeding the delivery of medical supplies to hospitals, putting more patients’ lives at risk.

Since March 2, Israel has prevented the entry of essential supplies such as food and water into Gaza by closing the border crossings, resulting in a humanitarian catastrophe and worsening famine.

According to data from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), around 500,000 Palestinians have been displaced from their homes in Gaza since March 18, due to the resumption of the genocide campaign by Israeli forces and the violation of the temporary ceasefire agreement on January 19, 2025.

OCHA confirmed that “the ongoing hostilities across the Gaza Strip continue to have devastating impacts on civilians, including death, displacement, and the destruction of vital infrastructure.”

It warned that Israel continues to reject approval of coordinated humanitarian mission “Today, only two out of six planned and coordinated humanitarian movements were facilitated.”

It added, “Israel rejected four other missions, including one intended to bring fuel,” without providing reasons for the rejection or details on the missions and the aid they carried.

The UN office reported that its teams visited displacement sites in Khan Yunis last week, where “most people are living in overcrowded shelters, amid severe shortages of shelter, food, water, and medicine.”

Similarly, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed on Wednesday that the severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies in Gaza poses a serious threat to the lives of patients.

UNRWA said that the entire healthcare system in Gaza has been under attack since the beginning of the assault, calling for an end to the ongoing blockade imposed by Israeli occupation forces and a renewal of the ceasefire.

In the same context, the organization “Doctors Without Borders” said that Gaza has become a mass grave for Palestinians and those who try to help them.

The organization added that deliberately preventing the delivery of essential aid is systematically destroying the lives of Palestinians once again, calling for an immediate end to the blockade on Gaza, the protection of Palestinian lives and those of humanitarian and medical workers, and the restoration and maintenance of the ceasefire.

With unwavering US support, Israel has continued to commit acts of genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 167,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, most of them women and children, and more than 11,000 missing.

UN expert condemns horrific Israeli attack on Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza

GENEVA, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) —

The UN Special Rapporteur on the right to health, Tlaleng Mofokeng, has condemned the Israeli attack on Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, the last functioning hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, saying the many months of war continues to make the provision of health care services even more impossible in a system that was already brought to its knees.

“I am horrified to learn that the war on hospitals, health care providers and civilians continues, making the provision of health services even more impossible in a system that has already been brought to its knees,” Mofokeng said.

Al-Ahli Hospital was hit by an Israeli airstrike on 13 April 2025, destroying the emergency department and causing the death of a child due to lack of access to appropriate care.

“With this latest attack on the health system, the options for health care – especially emergency care – for the people of Gaza are reduced to zero, and Israel continues to operate with impunity,” the expert said. “The health care system has been decimated.”

The Special Rapporteur recalled that health workers, as primary responders in the provision of health services, are exposed to harassment, intimidation and death on a daily basis as they attempt to save the lives of the Palestinian people.

“Health care facilities and health workers must be protected under international law,” she said.

The World Health Organization has reported at least 670 health attacks from 7 October 2023 to 14 March 2025, including 122 health facilities affected and 33 hospitals damaged.

“This is completely unacceptable,” Mofokeng said. She stressed that the people of Gaza deserve dignity and the restoration of health services after more than 18 months of attacks and limited or non-existent access for medical aid and supplies into the enclave since the beginning of the Israeli attacks.

The expert reiterated her call on the international community and world leaders to use all means at their disposal to end the war and save the lives and dignity of the people of Gaza, who have survived through these atrocities for more than a year and a half.

“I appeal to your humanity and any remaining capacity you may have left for action to preserve the population of Gaza,” she said.

Arab League: Palestinian cause facing the most serious threat in its history

CAIRO, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) —

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, A'hmed Abul Ghait, warned today the Palestinian cause is facing the most serious threat in its history. His remarks come in light of the ongoing genocide being carried out by the Israeli occupation amid a "shameful and disgraceful" global silence.

Speaking at the 57th session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action, held at the headquarters of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in Tounis, Abul Ghait strongly reiterated the Arab, Islamic, and international rejection of the forced displacement of Palestinians.

"It is time to put an end to this massacre and immediately begin efforts for reconstruction and recovery," he said, emphasizing the need to pave the way toward a just solution accepted by Palestinians, Arabs, and the international community — namely, the two-state solution.

Abul Ghait underscored that the continued Palestinian presence on the land remains the most vital form of resistance. He called for greater efforts to support and strengthen this presence in the face of "unprecedented brutality in modern times."

He also referred to resolutions passed by the Arab League’s Economic and Social Council during its 113th regular session, which called for an emergency response plan to address the economic and social consequences of the Israeli aggression. That plan was later adopted in the committee’s previous (56th) session and formally endorsed by the Bahrain Summit held on May 16, 2024.

China and Malaysia reject displacement, call for establishment of independent Palestinian state

RAMALLAH, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

China and Malaysia expressed their rejection of forced displacement and called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the two-state solution.

In a joint statement issued Thursday at the conclusion of Chinese President Xi Jinping's official visit to Malaysia, published by Xinhua News Agency, China and Malaysia affirmed that Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people and is an integral part of the Palestinian territories.

The two sides stressed the need to adhere to the principle of "Palestinians govern Palestine" in the post-war administration of Gaza and expressed their rejection of the forced displacement of Gaza's residents.

The two sides also called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the two-state solution and the need for Palestine to obtain full membership in the United Nations.

UN: Israel continues to obstruct distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza

RAMALLAH, April 17, 2025 (WAFA) –

The United Nations said that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to obstruct the distribution of humanitarian aid in Gaza, noting that aid has not entered the Strip for nearly two months.

Stephanie Tremblay, Deputy Spokesperson for the Secretary-General, explained in a press conference that humanitarian aid has not entered Gaza for nearly two months, stressing the need to continue providing aid without interruption.

She noted that humanitarian workers continue to face difficulties in carrying out their duties, and that the occupation authorities only allowed the passage of two of the six humanitarian aid operations planned for yesterday.

The restrictions imposed by the occupation on humanitarian access hinder the ability to supply hospitals with medical supplies, endangering the health of more patients, according to the United Nations.

Since March 2, the occupation has prevented the entry of essential supplies, including food and water, into the Gaza Strip after closing the crossings, causing a humanitarian disaster and exacerbating famine.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
