While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "
kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

The death toll from explosion of communication devices in Lebanon rises to 37 martyrs

Thursday 19-September-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

The Lebanese Health Minister Firas Al-Abyadh said that the death toll from the wireless communication device explosions over the past two days has reached 37, with thousands injured. Prime Minister Najeeb Miqati called on the UN Security Council to take a firm stance against the technological war being waged by Israel against Lebanon.

This was mentioned in a press statement by Al-Abyadh in the capital, Beirut, on Thursday in response to the explosions that occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday involving “pager” and “Icom” communication devices in various regions of Lebanon.

The Lebanese minister reported that the number of fatalities from the wireless communication explosions that occurred yesterday, Wednesday, has risen to 25, with injuries increasing to 608, including 61 in critical condition. This followed his earlier statement during a press conference today, where he reported only 20 fatalities.

He noted that dozens of doctors spent the previous night in operating rooms, while hundreds of nurses and paramedics participated in providing rapid treatment to those injured in the explosions.

The minister pointed out that the explosions revealed one positive aspect: the solidarity of the Lebanese people across different regions in response to the event.

He also mentioned that there are initiatives led by unnamed Arab countries to provide medical services to Lebanon, expressing his appreciation for this support.

For his part, Lebanese Prime Minister Najeeb Miqati urged the United Nations Security Council, which is scheduled to meet tomorrow, Friday, to discuss the explosions affecting communication devices used by Hezbollah, to take a firm stance to stop the technological war being waged by Israel against Lebanon.

Mikati emphasized in a statement the necessity for the Security Council to take a decisive stance to halt the Israeli aggression against Lebanon and the technological war being waged against the country, which has resulted in the death of hundreds of citizens and the injury of thousands.

Earlier today, Hezbollah announced that 20 of its members were killed due to a series of explosions on Wednesday affecting Icom wireless devices in several regions of Lebanon.

These explosions followed a similar incident on Tuesday that targeted pager communication devices, resulting in the deaths of 12 people, including civilians, and injuring around 2,800 others, with 300 in critical condition.

Lebanon and Hezbollah accuse Israel of being responsible for the breach and explosion of the devices, while Tel Aviv remains silent on the matter.

Euro-Med: Israel’s explosion of communication devices in Lebanon flagrant violation of int’l law

Thursday 19-September-2024

GENEVA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has said that Israel’s detonation of pager and wireless communication devices in Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday constitutes a serious targeting of civilians and a blatant violation of international law.

The Monitor clarified that the attack was not limited to targeting Hezbollah members; rather, Israel indiscriminately exploded the targeted devices, including those used by civilians.

It noted that the timing of the attack indicates that Israel did not take the necessary precautions, as it occurred during periods when device users were at home with their families, leading to numerous severe injuries among civilians, including children.

The Euro-Med Monitor deemed Israel’s actions a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, which prohibits indiscriminate attacks and the targeting of civilians and their property, requiring warring parties to differentiate between civilians and combatants at all times.

It emphasized that international humanitarian law forbids the use of booby traps associated with items used in everyday civilian life, or those linked with protected persons, including those that attract civilians.

The Monitor stressed that these violations represent a serious breach of human rights, involving unlawful killings and violations of personal and public safety, and have been used as a tool to achieve political objectives, clearly contradicting the fundamental principles of human rights.

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor called for an urgent and independent international investigation into these attacks and urged pressure on Israel to immediately stop its crimes and prevent escalation in the region.

Lebanon experienced explosions in communication and wireless devices today and yesterday, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Lebanese, with Lebanon and Hezbollah holding the Israeli occupation responsible for what occurred.

'Hamas welcomes Hezbollah’s continued backing of Palestinian resistance

Thursday 19-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement said in a statement issued in Thursday it appreciates remarks by the Secretary-General of 'Hizbullah, 'Hasan Nasrullah, after he reaffirmed “the resistance” in Lebanon will not stop supporting Gaza.

'Hizbullah’s stance “is a blow to [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and his fascist government”, 'Hamas said.

Lebanon’s “sacrifices”, it added, will only help the fight towards Palestine’s “liberation”.

'Hamas also said that the “Israeli brutal attacks on the brotherly Lebanese people on Tuesday and Wednesday were a failed attempt to strike the support front for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, but Hezbollah’s position thwarted those plans.”

The Movement stressed that Israel’s escalation of killings, massacres, and genocide against civilians in Palestine and Lebanon makes it a rogue entity and a real threat to the stability of the region and the world, calling on the international community to act to isolate this entity and prosecute its leaders for their war crimes.

In a televised speech, Nasrullah pledged to keep up 'Hizbullah’s fight against Israel until its nearly 12-month war on the Gaza Strip ends.

The Lebanese Islamic Resistance Party’s leader also reiterated the only path to bring calm to the region is for Israel to also halt its assaults on the occupied West Bank.

US Senator Bernie Sanders: The Israeli massacres in Gaza are being carried out with US military equipment

Thursday 19-September-2024

WASHINGTON, (PIC)

The Independent US Senator Bernie Sanders called for an end to the collusion between the US administration and the Israeli government in the genocide war against the Palestinian people.

In a speech to members of the Senate on Wednesday, Sanders announced that he will file a draft resolution to the Congress next week for a vote to stop a US-arms deal with Israel worth $20 billion.

Despite the emergence of voices in the Congress condemning the war on Gaza, the majority of US lawmakers from both the Democratic and Republican parties support supplying Israel with weapons and money, and therefore the chance of passing any draft resolution that contradicts this policy seems nonexistent.

Sanders stressed that the massacre in Gaza is being carried out with US arms, denouncing his country’s complicity in this humanitarian catastrophe.

He pointed out that providing more US weapons to continue the disastrous war in Gaza violates the international law.

Sanders explained that 60% of the victims of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza for about a year now are women and children, and 90% of the population has been displaced due to the war.

The independent US senator has repeatedly called for stopping the military and financial support for Israel and has been accusing the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of carrying out ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip.

Sanders noted that the Biden Administration approved a series of arms sales to Israel in mid August that totaled more than $20 billion, and included several systems in five separate packages.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a bloody war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in more than 136,000 martyrs and wounded, the majority of whom are children and women.

UN official: Nothing justifies the Israeli collective punishment of the Palestinian people

Thursday 19-September-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland, reiterated that “the establishment by Israel of settlements in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, has no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation of international law.”

Security Council resolution 2334 (2016) calls on Israel to “immediately and completely cease all settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem” and to “fully respect all of its legal obligations in this regard.” Settlement activity has, nevertheless, continued, Wennesland said in a video briefing to the Security Council.

“In total, some 6,370 housing units were advanced or approved in settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem. Of these, 5,840 housing units were in Area C, including three outposts legalized under Israeli law, and nearly 530 housing units were advanced in the Gilo settlement in East Jerusalem. Construction tenders were published for approximately 1,100 housing units in settlements, including 780 in East Jerusalem.”

He further pointed out that 188 Palestinians, including 111 children, left their occupied West Bank communities, citing violence and harassment by settlers and shrinking grazing land.

He concluded by calling for “immediate steps to prevent all acts of violence against civilians, including acts of terror, as well as all acts of provocation and destruction.”

He further called on Israel to abide by its obligations under international law.

“I also recall that Israel, as the Occupying Power, has a responsibility to ensure that the civilian population is protected against all acts of violence and call on Israel to ensure thorough, independent and prompt investigations into all instances of possible excessive use of force.”

“I reiterate my call for an immediate ceasefire to end human suffering and urge all sides to redouble efforts to reach a deal that will bring about an immediate ceasefire and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages,” he added.

Commission: Palestinian prisoners in Gilboa prison are living in hell

Thursday 19-September-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission said on Thursday that the “Palestinian prisoners held in the Israeli Gilboa prison are living in hell.”

The Commission explained, quoting its lawyer who was able to visit some detainees in Gilboa prison two days ago, that “Israeli jailers at Gilboa prison target the detainees’ psychologically by physical and verbal insults.”

The lawyer explained that beating and cursing have become a daily fixed routine, in addition to forcing detainees to sit in certain positions during the counting procedure.

He further elaborated that the detainees are forced to kneel on the ground with their hands over their heads and their faces towards the wall, adding that they are forced to walk on lines drawn on the ground when going out for a break.

The Commission revealed that the prisoners are completely isolated from the outside world and served food poor in quantity and quality, adding that there is a severe shortage of clothes and blankets in addition to the spread of skin diseases and the lack of cleaning materials and disinfectants.

According to the Commission’s lawyer, the prison sections are severely overcrowded to the extent that prisoners do not have space to sit on or move outside the boundaries of their mattresses.

The Commission said that the number of arrests in the West Bank including Jerusalem has surged to more than 10,800 arrests since the start of the ongoing Israeli war of genocide and the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023.

UN humanitarian organizations: Israel blocks 83% of food aid to Gaza

Thursday 19-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Israel has blocked the entry of 83% of food aid to the Gaza Strip, nearly a year after the beginning of the genocidal war against the Palestinians in the besieged Strip, according to a press release issued by 16 UN humanitarian relief organizations.

The statement indicated that the percentage of blocked aid has increased from that of 34% in 2023, which means that the people in Gaza have gone from having an average of two meals a day to just one meal every other day.

It pointed out that about 50,000 children aged between 6 to 59 months urgently need treatment for malnutrition by the end of the year.

The signatory organizations, such as Save the Children, Oxfam and the Danish Refugee Council, stressed that providing aid is the only available option under the current circumstances, due to the inability to manage the humanitarian situation.

They added that coordination for providing aid suffers from significant delays, as only 37 out of 94 humanitarian missions were implemented in northern Gaza between September 1-15, and 50% of the 243 missions in southern Gaza.

The crime of genocide committed by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip continues for the 348th consecutive days, by committing daily massacres and inhumane crimes against Palestinian civilians.

UNRWA: People in Gaza eat once every two days

Thursday 19-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has cautioned that the Palestinian people in Gaza are eating, on overage, once every two days, casting light on the famine crisis as a few amounts of aid trucks are allowed into the enclave.

According to UNRWA, there is a severe food shortage in Gaza, with 83 percent of required aid food is being blocked from reaching two million displaced Palestinians.

On average, people have one meal every other day, the UN agency added.

To mitigate the effects of malnutrition, UNRWA and World Food Program distribute high-energy biscuits to children during recreational activities.

Since the start of the war, 36 children have died of malnutrition, while the lives of 3,500 children are at risk due to the Israeli systematic starvation policy.

UNRWA also warned that the delivery of critical humanitarian supplies will be complicated for relief agencies as winter approaches, and may bring worsening conditions in light of damaged roads and war-ravaged infrastructure in Gaza.

“Despite the chronic lack of humanitarian supplies and constant challenges, UNRWA teams in Gaza continue reaching as many people as possible with critical aid,” it confirmed.

'Hamas welcomes the UNGA resolution which calls for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine

Thursday 19-September-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement hailed a resolution approved overwhelmingly by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) that calls for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands.

'Hamas, in a statement issued on Wednesday night, said that the adoption of this resolution expresses the true international will to support the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, and above all the right to self-determination and the formation of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

'Hamas thanked the countries that voted in favor of the resolution and urged them to take more actions and decisions that “will isolate the fascist occupation regime and put pressure on it to stop the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.”

The United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday overwhelmingly approved the resolution that was proposed in response to a July ruling by the International Court of Justice that Israel’s presence in the Palestinian territories is unlawful and must end.

Some 124 countries voted for the resolution, 14 opposed it, and 43 abstained. Israel, the US, Czechia, and Argentina were the largest countries opposing, along with Pacific island nations. Paraguay and Malawi also opposed the measure.

Many European nations abstained — including Ukraine, the UK, Germany and Italy — as well as Canada and Australia. The resolution was basically sponsored by the State of Palestine and 29 other countries, mostly Muslim nations.

The approved resolution calls for the withdrawal of all Israeli forces and the evacuation of settlers from the occupied Palestinian territories “without delay”.

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 349 on Thursday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and shelter centers and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

A Civil Defense member and his pregnant wife were killed in an Israeli strike on Al-Shaheen family house in the Al-Fakhoura area in the Jabalya refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Early today, Israeli shelling targeted Block 3 in the Al-Buraij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Five Palestinians were killed while many others were injured when an Israeli airstrike bombed overnight a residential building belonging to the “Al-Da'our” family in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Three Palestinians, including a child, were also killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the “Baroud” family house in the Al-Buraij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Four other people were killed in a similar attack in the Jabalya refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Gaza: A number of Palestinian killed by Israeli bombing

GAZA, September 19, 2024 (WAFA) –

A number of Palestinians were killed and others were injured with various wounds on Thursday in the Israeli bombing of the central and southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that a number of citizens were killed in the Israeli airstrike of Rafa'h city.

The same sources added that four citizens were killed and others were injured after the occupation bombed a house belonging to 'Azzam family in Jabalya Al-Balad, north of Gaza City.

A number of citizens were injured, most of them children, when an occupation "Quadcopter" aircraft dropped a bomb on them in the new camp north of Al-Nusayrat in the central Gaza Strip, while artillery shelling continues west of the camp.

The occupation also continues to fire bullets in areas north of Bureij.

Civil defense crews said this morning it recovered the bodies of a woman and two girls from the residential apartment that the occupation bombed on Al-Thalatheeni Street south of Gaza City, which belongs to Al-Haddad family.

Two slain people are still under the rubble, while civil defense crews are facing difficulties in retrieving them, which raises the death toll of this family to five.

Israeli occupation forces continue wide-scale offensive in Qabatya, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries

File picture

Jineen, September 19, 2024 (WAFA) —

Israeli occupation forces have maintained a siege on the town of Qabatya, located south of Jineen, since early Thursday morning. This ongoing offensive has resulted in the killing of at least three Palestinians and injuries to six others, two of whom were struck by an Israeli military vehicle during the incursion.

According to local sources, Israeli troops stormed the town, encircling a residential home and bombarding it with shoulder-fired missiles. Eyewitness footage captured the moment when soldiers took the bodies of the three slain individuals from the rooftop of the besieged home. Following this, military bulldozers began demolishing the structure.

Simultaneously, the forces advanced into the vicinity of 'Izzat Abu Rob School in the town during classes, accompanied by a military bulldozer, firing live ammunition around the area. Approximately 1,200 students and staff members remain trapped within the local education directorate, while eight schools in more remote locations have been evacuated.

Our correspondent reported that many students suffered from tear gas inhalation due to the intense deployment of toxic gas by the Israeli forces near both Abu Rob and Qabatya schools, leading to panic among students and teachers.

Additionally, troops have prevented Palestinian Red Crescent teams from accessing the besieged home. Reports indicate that soldiers conducted searches from the rooftops of nearby buildings and detonated an explosive device in the vicinity, while also targeting journalists with tear gas.

Infrastructure in Qabatya has faced extensive damage, with Israeli heavy machinery vandalizing roads and a local police station in the town.

With the murder of the three individuals in Qabatya, the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem since October 7, 2023, has risen to 710, including 160 children, 10 women, and 9 elderly individuals.
