Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry:

By October 29, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 53,061+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (43,061), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By October 29, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 101,223.

By October 27, 2024, 764 Palestinians who were killed, 6,519 who were injured, and 11,651, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

By October 27, 2024, according to initial reports, 60 Lebanese civilians were killed, 58 were injured, by the Israeli genocidal raids on Lebanon, in the past 24 hours. Thus, the Lebanese death toll, since October 8, 2023, has surged to 2,770 fatalities and more than 12,650 injuries.

Since September 23, 2024, the Lebanese death toll rose to 1,858 and the injuries to 5,805.

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ " (الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

60 killed in Israeli airstrikes on eastern Lebanon

At least 60 people, including two children, were killed and 58 others injured following Israeli air raids on the eastern Biqaa' Valley, Lebanon's Health Ministry said Monday.

The Ministry said that 12 areas in the Valley were hit, most of them in the Baalbek region, and that the toll was preliminary as rescue efforts were still underway.

Ba'albek Governor Basheer Khodr decried what he called the "most violent" raids on the area since the start of the conflict between Lebanon and Israel.

Since Sept. 23, Israel has intensified air attacks on Lebanon, mostly targeting 'Hizbullah, and has lately launched a ground operation across its northern border.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime continues its bloody war on Lebanon for the 37th day

Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces continued their bloody war on Lebanon for the 37th day, launching dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling across the country in addition to ground incursion into several border villages, amid fierce resistance from Hezbollah.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of 60 people and the injury of 58 others by the Israeli genocidal airstrikes on several towns in the Biqaa' Valley, in eastern Lebanon.

At least five people, including a child, were martyred and three others wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Bodai, east of the country, it explained.

The Ministry added that an Israeli raid on the city of Ba'albek, east of the country, resulted in the martyrdom of three people and the injury of 17 others.

It further elaborated that 10 people were killed in two massacres carried out by Israeli warplanes that bombed the towns of Al-Hafeer and Al-'Alaq, west of Ba'albek.

Another Israeli airstrike targeted the town of 'Ain Bordai in the Ba'albek district.

This brings the death toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon since October 8 of last year, to 2,710 martyrs and 12,592 wounded, by October 28, 2024.

At least 63 civilians killed, dozens wounded by Israeli genocidal airstrikes on Ba'albek and its towns in Lebanon

BERUIT, October, 29, 2024 (WAFA) – 

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 63 Lebanese citizens were killed and dozens were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation's aggression on the city of Ba'albek and its towns in the Biqaa' Valley.

The occupation fighter jets launched violent raids targeting the city of Baalbek and the towns of Shamshtar, Al-'Halaniya, Brital, Taraya, Al-'Hafeer, Al-'Alaq, Youneen, Al-Ram, Al-'Hadath of Ba'albek and the Gouraud barracks.

The occupation warplanes also targeted the towns of Al-Khiyam, Al-Jumaijma, Qaliya, Al-Sareerah, Al-Duwayr, Jabaa', Shaqra, Al-Naqoura, 'Alma Al-Sha'b, and Jabal Al-Labouna, in southern Lebanon.

'Hizbullah announces Al-Shaikh Na'eem Qasim as Secretary-General

'Hizbullah declares that its Shoura council has elected Deputy Secretary-General Al-Shaikh Na'eem Qasim as Secretary-General.

'Hizbullah's Shoura Council announced that it had elected Al-Shaikh Na'eem Qasim as the party's Secretary-General, succeeding Martyr Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah. This decision, "grounded in the principles of true Islam and the steadfast ideals of Hezbollah, follows the party's established procedures for selecting the Secretary-General," according to Hezbollah's statement. 

'Hizbullah expressed its commitment to upholding the legacy of Al-Shaikh Na'eem Qasim's predecessor, describing the election as part of a sacred mission. "We pledge to God Almighty, to the soul of our beloved martyr Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah (may God be pleased with him), to the martyrs, to the Islamic resistance fighters, and to our resilient and loyal people, to work together to fulfill 'Hizbullah's principles and goals."

'Hizbullah emphasized the organization's dedication to carrying forward the cause of resistance. The Shoura Council expressed its hope for Sheikh Qassem's success in leading 'Hizbullah, entrusting him with the responsibility of preserving the movement's resistance and raising its banner until victory.

Who is Al-Shaikh Na'eem Qasim?

Al-Shaikh Na'eem Qasim, born in 1953 in Beirut, Lebanon, is from the village of Kfar Fila in the Iqleem Al-Tuffa'h region of southern Lebanon.

He holds a degree in chemistry in French and worked as a teacher for several years. Alongside his studies in natural sciences, he pursued religious education in a seminary, earning a degree in jurisprudence and Islamic fundamentals.

Sheikh Qassem is recognized as part of the founding generation of Shiite Islamic cultural and activist organizations in Lebanon. He was active in groups that eventually formed Hezbollah, including the Lebanese Union of Muslim Students, and played a significant role in the Amal Movement founded by Imam Musa al-Sadr.

In 1982, following the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, Al-Shaikh Qasim was among Hezbollah's founding core. He has been elected to Hezbollah's Shura Council three times, managing various portfolios, including the Executive Council and educational activities. 

In 1991, Sheikh Qassem became Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary-General, serving under Secretary-General 'Abbas Al-Moussawi. He remained in this role until his election as the party's Secretary-General following the martyrdom of Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah. Over the years, Shaikh Qasim has led Hezbollah's parliamentary bloc in Lebanon and overseen its governmental and institutional affairs.

Al-Shaikh Na'eem Qasim is also the author of several political, cultural, and educational books, including a book on Hezbollah's political and military experience. Following the assassination of Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah by Israeli forces, Al-Shaikh Na'eem Qasim delivered several speeches defining the course of the resistance and issuing significant political and military messages to both the pro-Resistance audience and 'Hizbullah's enemies.

'Hizbullah announces martyrdom of Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah

On September 28, 'Hizbullah released a statement announcing the martyrdom of its Secretary-General, Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah, joining a handful of Resistance leaders who dedicated their lives for the sake of fighting against the Israeli occupation.

"Israel" had earlier launched a series of heavy airstrikes on residential neighborhoods in the Southern Suburb of Beirut. The IOFs announced that the goal of the attack was the assassination of Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah, and Israeli Army Radio pointed out that F-35 aircraft carried out the airstrikes using bunker-buster bombs.

The Islamic Resistance began its statement with the verse: Let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, and then is slain, or he subdues [the enemy], soon We shall give him a great reward. [Surah Al-Nisa, verse 74]

"His eminence, the leader of the Resistance, the pious servant of God, has passed on to God as a great leader, a brave martyr, joining the martyrs of Karbala...on the path of prophets," the statement read.

"Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, joined his great, eternal companions, whose journey he led for over 30 years through victory after victory" after succeeding Al-Sayyid 'Abbas Al-Mousawi in 1992, leading them in "the liberation of Lebanon in 2000 and the Divine Victory of 2006," and up to the battle of support for Palestine and the oppressed people of Palestine.

'Hizbullah extended its condolences to the Islamic nation and the steadfast people of Lebanon, and all the free and oppressed people of the world, congratulating Al-Sayyid 'Hasan Nasrullah on achieving the greatest of divine gifts, through which he was granted his greatest wish, that of a martyr on the path to Palestine and al-Quds.

This increased the accounted for death toll in Gaza Strip to 43,061 and the injuries to 101,223, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023.

Palestinian Ministry of Health: IOFs committed 4 massacres in Gaza over the past 24 hours

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 41 Palestinian citizens were martyred and 113 others injured in 4 Israeli massacres in Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.

It pointed out that the number does not include the massacre the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) committed today in Bait Lahya in northern Gaza where 94 Palestinians, mostly children and women, were killed.

The ministry added that the number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression have thus risen to 43,061 martyrs and 101,223 injured.

It said that an unspecified number of martyrs are still under the rubble of destroyed buildings or lying on roads but could not be retrieved due to the IOF shooting attacks.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 389

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 389th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

According to media sources, over 100 civilians were martyred and many others were either injured or reported missing following an Israeli airstrike on a five-story apartment building in Bait Lahya, north of Gaza.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 25 on Tuesday, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians.

Five citizens were also martyred and others were injured in two Israeli airstrikes near Al-Saroukh roundabout and Al-Siftawi area in the north of Gaza City.

The Israeli army carried out at dawn aerial and artillery attacks on two homes in Bait Lahya in northern Gaza, killing seven civilians, including children, and injuring others. A number of people are still buried under the rubble.

Another attack on a house belonging to Mas'oud family in Al-Fakhoura area in Jabalya refugee camp, north of Gaza, killed one person.

Casualties were also reported following an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the family of Al-Jarjawi in Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army burned the UNRWA-run Al-Fakhoura School in Jabalya refugee camp.

A warplane targeted a group of citizens in the motorcycles market in Khan Younus, south of Gaza, killing two of them and injuring others.

An Israeli artillery attack on Al-Buraij refugee camp in central Gaza killed two civilians.

More casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Israeli shelling of Gaza City kills 5, injures 20 others

GAZA, October 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

At least five Palestinian civilians were killed and more than 20 others were injured by an Israeli genocidal bombardment of Gaza City.

Local sources confirmed that Israeli warplanes launched two raids on Al-Shahbah market in the Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza City, crowded with vendors and shoppers, resulting in the killing of at least five civilians and the injury of more than twenty others, all of whom were taken to hospitals.

According to the latest statistics, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 43,061, mostly children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023. The number of casualties has so far reached 101,223, in addition to thousands who remain missing under the rubble, amid the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the besieged Strip.

Dozens massacred in Israeli airstrike on apartment building in northern Gaza

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) committed on Tuesday morning a horrific massacre after it bombed an apartment building in Bait Lahya, north of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that an Israeli warplane bombed a five-story apartment building belonging to the family of Nasir and reduced it to rubble.

They said that over 100 civilians, mostly women and children, were living in the building.

According to initial medical and media reports, 94 people were killed and many others were injured.

The death toll is likely to rise as many victims are still buried under the rubble and several wounded people are in critical condition.

Civilians living in the area have been working on recovering bodies of the martyrs and evacuating the wounded because ambulance and civil defense services in northern Gaza have become out of commission.

Media sources reported ongoing Israeli bombardment in the vicinity of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in Bait Lahya as dozens of victims were being evacuated from the bombed building to the facility.

The Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza is already debilitated and unable to provide the minimum medical assistance for patients and wounded civilians.

In new Israeli massacre, 94 civilians killed and dozens were injured in Bait Lahya in northern Gaza Strip

GAZA, October, 29, 2024 (WAFA) – 

More than 94 civilians, including children and women, were killed and dozens were injured, most of them seriously, at dawn in a new massacre committed by the occupation in the Bait Lahya, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that more than 94 citizens were killed and dozens were missing in the occupation's bombing of a residential building consisting of five floors, which houses about 150 displaced persons, belonging to the Abu Nasr family in Bait Lahya.

They indicated that dozens of citizens are still under the rubble, while appeals continue for help in searching for survivors, or retrieving the bodies of the slain Palestinians from under the rubble, in light of the inability of the civil defense and ambulance to reach them.

According to local sources, there are more than 20 serious injuries that arrived at Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, which has been subjected to continuous artillery shelling since dawn today.

The northern Gaza Strip, specifically Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has been subjected to siege, destruction, the threat of famine and forced displacement for 25 days, during which the entry of food, water, fuel and medicine has been prevented, resulting in the killing of several civilians.

Several civilians killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on two houses in Bait Lahya

GAZA, October, 29, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Several civilians were killed at dawn after the occupation forces bombed two houses in Bait Lahya.

Medical sources reported that seven people, including children and a number of missing persons, were killed, and others were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' bombing and artillery shelling of two houses belonging to Al-'Omari and Obaid families in the Bait Lahya project in the northern Gaza Strip.

A number of citizens were also injured after the occupation forces' fighter jets bombed a house belonging to the Al-Jarjawi family, which was sheltering displaced persons from the Abu Laban family in Al-Nafaq Street in Gaza City.

In the same context, the occupation forces burned down the Al-Fakhoura School affiliated with UNRWA in Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces also bombed a house in the vicinity of Al-'Hara Mosque in Gaza City.

Two civilians killed, others injured in Israeli shelling of Gaza’s Jabalya refugee camp

Two civilians were killed and others were injured on Monday NIGHT in an Israeli shelling of the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces bombed the Al-Hawja street in the camp, resulting in the killing of several civilians and the injury of others.

By October 28, 2024, the occupation’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 43,020 civilians, and the injury of 101,110 others, mostly children and women.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Palestinian man injured by Israeli soldiers’ live fire north of Tulkarem

TULKAREM, October 29, 2024 (WAFA) -

A Palestinian man was shot and injured on Tuesday by Israeli forces’ live bullets north of Tulkarem, the northern occupied West Bank, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

PRCS told WAFA that its crews dealt with the injury of a 38-year-old man who was injured in the leg by live bullets fired by Israeli soldiers west of the town of Baqa ash-Sharqiyya.

The man was transferred to hospital in Tulkarem for medical treatment.

Over 15 Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli occupation army in the West Bank

RAMALLAH, October, 29, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Israeli occupation forces have kidnapped at least 15 Palestinians from the West Bank during the last 24 hours, according to a joint statement by the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society.

The detentions occurred across various provinces, including Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Qalqilya, Nablus, and Toubas. According to the statement, these detentions have been characterized by widespread raids and violent treatment of detainees, including severe beatings and threats against both the arrested individuals and their families, along with destruction of property in their homes.

Since the onset of the ongoing Israeli genocidal onslaught against the Palestinian people in October 2023, the total number of Palestinians detained by Israeli troops in the West Bank has surpassed 11,500, including those from Jerusalem, the statement added.

Additionally, reports indicate that the Israeli military continues to detain civilians from Gaza, particularly in the northern regions, including women, children, and medical personnel. T

Human rights organizations have noted that since the start of the offensive, they have been unable to accurately track the number of detentions in Gaza, which are estimated to be in the thousands.

Several Palestinians kidnaped by IOFs in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped on Tuesday a number of Palestinian citizens during dawn and morning raids in the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped three young men from Qalqilya and three others from Al-Dihaisha refugee camp and Al-Khadhir town in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

The IOFs also kidnapped two young men from their homes in Al-Khadhir town and three others from Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) City.

In Nablus, two other young men were taken prisoners during IOFs raids in the city and 'Al-Ein refugee camp.

In Toubas, one young man was kidnapped from his home in Tammoun town.

Two Palestinian farmers injured in an attack by the illegal Israeli settlers east of Qalqilya

QALQILYA, October, 29, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Two Palestinian youths were injured by live bullets in an attack by a group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Palestinian olive pickers east of Qalqilya.

Local sources reported that armed Israeli colonists from the illegal colony of  Havat Gilad stormed the eastern side of the village of Amatin east of Qalqilya, attacked Palestinians while they were on their land to pick olives in Wadi al-Ahmar.

The armed colonist fired live bullets towards Palestinian olive pickers, injuring one  , 49, with a bullet to the head, and another, 45, with a bullet to the thigh, and they were transferred to Nablus Hospital, where their injuries were described as moderate.

It is worth noting that the area planted with olives in the village is approximately 1,000 dunams, and it is close to the Kedumim" and Havat Gilad colonies, which are located on the village's lands, and the villagers face dangers in order to pick their olives due to the two colonies.

During the annual olive harvest season, Palestinian lands are subjected to repeated attacks by colonists and the occupation army, and farmers constantly face obstacles and arbitrary practices that prevent them from reaching their lands.

Illegal Israeli settlers bulldoze Palestinian-owned land southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) as a prelude for takeover

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, proceeded on Tuesday to bulldoze agricultural land belonging to a Palestinian family in the Khalayil al-Louz area southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), in an apparent prelude to taking over the land.

Anti-wall and anti-colonies activist, Hasan Brijiyeh, said a group of colonists used agricultural tractors to level the land planted with olive trees.

The occupation forces attacked landowners who attempted to confront the colonists, firing shots in the air, and briefly detained some of them before releasing them later.

The area is among the most vulnerable to attacks by the occupation forces and colonists, experiencing frequent attacks on homes and the destruction of agricultural land. This ongoing violence exacerbates the hardships faced by residents and threatens their means of livelihood.

Illegal Israeli settlers bulldoze large-tract of Palestinian lands in Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, October, 29, 2024 (WAFA) – 

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers began bulldozing Palestinian lands belonging to the village of Al-'Ain Al-Baidha in the northern Jordan Valley, in preparation for planting and seizing them.

Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh reported that the a group of Israeli colonists, accompanied by a bulldozer, raided the village and began razing agricultural lands south of the village of Ein al-Baida, in preparation for planting trees and seizing them.

In recent years, colonists have seized large-tracts of residents’ lands in the areas and villages of the northern Jordan Valley, including bulldozing, cultivating, fencing, imposing complete colonial control over them, and annexing them to existing colonies.

Illegal Israeli settlers destroy olive trees and steal their harvest east of Salfeet

SALFEET, October 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers destroyed on Tuesday Palestinian-owned olive trees and stole their harvest in the village of Yasouf east of Salfeet, according to a local official.

The head of the Yasouf village council, Wa’el Abu Madi, told WAFA that several colonists from two nearby illegal colonies destroyed olive trees and stole their harvest east of the said village.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers broke into the said area yesterday and destroyed olive trees. Residents have not yet been able to reach their lands and assess the damage.

During the annual olive harvest season, Palestinian lands frequently face repeated attacks from settlers and the Israeli military. Farmers encounter numerous obstacles and arbitrary practices that hinder their access to their fields, resulting in significant financial losses and exacerbating their daily struggles under occupation.

In a previous report published by WAFA, the Ministry of Agriculture estimated that farmers may not be able to access 80,000 dunums of land planted with olive trees due to escalating restrictions and colonists’ violence. This situation could lead to a loss of approximately 15% of the olive production, which is estimated to reach around 20,000 tons this season.

The olive harvest season is crucial for thousands of Palestinian families, many of whom rely on it for their livelihood.

Armed illegal Israeli settler attacks local residents, threatens to kill them south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

An illegal armed Israeli settler attacked Palestinian local residents near the Abu Al-Arqan area, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

Local sources  said that an armed illegal Israeli settler blocked the road with his vehicle in front of citizens near the Abu Al-Arqan area, south of Hebron,  prevented them from passing, and pointed his gun at them, threatening to kill them.

He added, quoting eyewitnesses, that the colonist has been moving on that road for hours, searching for citizens' vehicles, and trying to approach them while pointing his gun.

Illegal Israeli settlers injure two farmers, IOFs deliver stop-work orders against greenhouses in the West Bank

Two Palestinian farmers in the West Bank were injured on Tuesday morning when a number of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers opened fire at them in 'Immateen town, east of Qalqilya, while the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) delivered 20 stop-work orders against greenhouses in the northeast of Jineen.

The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided medical assistance for two citizens who suffered bullet injuries before evacuating them to the Nablus Hospital.

Local sources reported that armed settlers from the illegal settlement of Havat Gilad stormed the eastern side of 'Immateen and attacked Palestinians while they were in their grove picking olives in Wadi al-Ahmar area.

The settlers fired live bullets at the olive farmers, injuring one of them, 49, with a bullet to the head, and another one, 45, with a bullet to the thigh.

Since the olive harvest season started in mid-October, Jewish settlers and Israeli forces in the West Bank have launched dozens of attacks on Palestinian farmers and their groves in different areas.

In another incident, Palestinian farmers received 20 stop-work orders from the Israeli army against greenhouses belonging to them in Al-Jalama village, northeast of Jineen.

The greenhouses stretch over 20 dunums of land along Al-Nasira road in the western area of the village.

The greenhouses, which contain different vegetable crops, have been in the area for several years.

The IOFs had delivered more than 150 stop-work notices against Palestinian agricultural structures in the same village during the past year, and demolished three greenhouses two weeks ago.

On Monday, extremist settlers savagely assaulted a Palestinian young man in Dair Istya town in Salfeet province, northwest of the West Bank.

Local sources said that settlers attacked 27-year-old Yousef Suleiman as he was harvesting olive crops in Al-Magheeba area, north of Dair Istya, and tried to kidnap him.

Meanwhile, Jewish settlers from the illegal settlement of Yakir near Dair Istya town dumped yesterday their wastewater into olive groves, causing large-scale air, water and soil pollution in the area.

One of the farmers said that his olive crops were destroyed by the settler sewage, so he was unable to harvest olives from 200 trees in his grove.

In another incident on the same day, extremist settlers set fire to an olive grove in Sinjil town, north of Ramallah, before local residents managed to control the blaze.

The so-called Israeli Knesset (parliament) approves bill to deport families of "attackers"

The Israeli Knesset approved on Tuesday a bill allowing the deportation of family members of individuals who carry out attacks against Israelis.

This bill will soon be presented to the Knesset for second and third readings and a final vote before becoming law.

Under the proposed bill, the so-called Israeli Interior Minister can order the deportation of family members if they were aware of the attacker's plans, expressed support for the attack, or praised the attacker publicly.

The bill stipulates that if the attacker is a citizen of Israel, their family members could be deported for seven years, and If the attacker is from the occupied territories, the deportation period could extend to ten years.

Israeli so-called Knesset (parliament) passes law banning UNRWA activities in Israel

TEL AVIV, October 28, 2024 (WAFA) -

The so-called Israel Knesset (parliament) officially passed a law, in its second and third readings, that bans the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) within Israel, despite warnings by the United Nations and international organizations about the risks of this legislation, which violates international and UN charters and laws.

The new law, proposed by Knesset member Boaz Bismuth, marks a first-of-its-kind restriction on UNRWA operations in Israel.

A Knesset statement noted that the bill introduced by MP Boaz Bismuth, which constitutes a precedent for halting UNRWA's activities in Israel, has passed all its readings in the Knesset plenum, becoming a law.

The legislation prohibits UNRWA from operating representative offices, offering services, or engaging in any form of activity within Israeli territories, either directly or indirectly, aiming to completely bar the agency's presence.

Earlier, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric stated that the Israeli bill to restrict UNRWA operations within Israel is contrary to the UN Charter and Israel's obligations under international law.

Dujarric emphasized the legal implications and potential humanitarian consequences of restricting UNRWA’s functions, particularly regarding Palestinian refugees' access to essential services.

Dujarric noted in Monday's daily press briefing that UN Secretary-General António Guterres had sent a letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the bill under consideration in the Israeli Knesset.

Matthew Miller, Spokesperson for the United States Department of State said before the passage of the law, that the U.S. has made it clear to Israel it is deeply concerned by the legislation, as UNRWA has an irreplaceable role in delivering humanitarian assistance in Gaza.

The European Union also expressed deep concern regarding the recently passed law prohibiting the operations of UNRWA in Israel, stating that it would have far-reaching consequences, rendering UNRWA's vital operations in Gaza impossible and severely hindering the agency's ability to provide health, education and social services in the occupied West Bank.

Under the newly passed law, Israel will terminate the 1967 agreement that permitted UNRWA operations within its territories, which would lead to the closure of its premises in the occupied Palestinian territory – West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, and Gaza. The law further prohibits any contact between Israeli officials and UNRWA personnel.

UN Secretary-General Guterres: There is no alternative to UNRWA

NEW YORK, October, 29, 2024 (WAFA) – 

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that implementing a law that bans the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) from operating in Israel could have devastating consequences for Palestinian refugees in the occupied Palestinian territories, which is unacceptable.

Guterres added in a press statement, "There is no alternative to UNRWA. Implementing these laws would be detrimental to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to peace and security in the region as a whole. As I have said before, UNRWA is indispensable."

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres indicated that he will present the matter to the 193-member UN General Assembly.

Last night, the Israeli Knesset finally approved, in the second and third readings, a law banning the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) inside Israel, despite international and UN warnings about the seriousness of this legislation, which violates international and UN charters and laws.

The law aims to “prevent any UNRWA activity in the territory of the State of Israel,” and states that “UNRWA will not operate any representative office, will not provide any service, and will not carry out any activity, directly or indirectly, in the territory of the State of Israel.”

The Hospital Director: Al-'Awda Hospital to go out of service

Dr. Mu'hammed Sal'ha, the Director of Al-'Awda Hospital in northern Gaza, has said that the hospital would halt services soon if not supplied with fuel, medical supplies, and medications.

Sal'ha said in a statement on Monday that the hospital cannot deal with the overflow of patients and wounded, especially with the lack of specialized cadres.

He added that the hospital receives dozens of wounded persons daily especially after the Kamal 'Uwdan Hospital went out of service.

The hospital director appealed to the World Health Organization (WHO) to expedite sending medicines, fuel, and medical supplies to his hospital to enable it offer medical services to those in need in northern Gaza.

Sal'ha urged WHO to send a team of surgeons in various specialties to cope with the growing number of those in need of various operations in the region.

“The situation in northern Gaza is catastrophic, all free people of the world should interfere to end the ongoing genocide in the area,” he concluded.

Palestinian Ministry of Education: Over 11,852 Palestinian students killed, 18,959 injured since start of Israeli aggression on October 7

GAZA, October, 29, 2024 (WAFA) – 

The Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education said that 11,852 students were killed and 18,959 were injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on October 7, 2023.

The Ministry of Education said in a statement the number of students who were killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression reached more than 11,738, and those who were injured 18,365.

Meanwhile, 114 students were killed in the West Bank and 594 others were injured.

It indicated that 560 teachers and administrators were killed and 3,729 were injured in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and more than 148 were detained in the West Bank.

The Ministry pointed out that 362 government schools, universities and their buildings, and 65 affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), were bombed and vandalized in the Gaza Strip.

It further confirmed that 718,000 students in the Gaza Strip are still deprived of attending their schools and universities since the beginning of the aggression, while most students suffer from psychological trauma and face difficult health conditions.

UNICEF warns of severe risk to 120,000 children in Gaza due to disrupted polio vaccination campaign amid ongoing violence

The UNICEF Communication Specialist, Rosalia Bollen, said the ongoing violence in northern Gaza has disrupted a critical phase of the polio vaccination campaign, putting nearly 120,000 children at severe risk if they do not receive the second dose before mid-November.

The escalation has led to the postponement of the second vaccine dose, leaving children vulnerable to polio, a highly infectious disease that can cause paralysis or death, she said.

“There are hundreds of people who have been killed over the past weeks. Many more were injured. There are hospitals that have been raided under siege. So, the conditions simply are not there, to roll out this second round in North Gaza,” said Rosalia Bollen, UNICEF’s Communication Specialist in Gaza.

UNICEF’s initial polio vaccination rounds were largely successful in central and southern Gaza. However, recent displacements and a lack of humanitarian access in the north have hindered vaccine distribution.

The deadline to complete the second dose is mid-November, after which immunity in children who received the first dose will sharply decline, she said.

Polin reported that the three UN agencies coordinating the polio vaccination campaign—WHO, UNRWA, and UNICEF—alongside the Palestinian Ministry of Health, were compelled to delay the final stage of the second vaccination round in northern Gaza.

Bollen expressed deep concern about the wider regional impact, adding, “This is a risk not just to the 120,000 children who remain in northern Gaza, children aged ten, and below that is, but also to children in the larger region. And that’s why we are so incredibly worried and pressing for this second round to happen by the beginning of November.”

She emphasized that several key elements are essential for the vaccination campaign’s success, particularly ensuring the safety of healthcare workers, social mobilizers and families bringing their children for vaccination is critical. A stable population is essential for the campaign’s success, she stressed.

Bollen said the relentless bombardment has left healthcare workers exhausted, with hundreds of casualties reported in recent weeks and many more injured. Hospitals have suffered from airstrikes and blockades, creating an environment unsuitable for launching the second phase of the vaccination round in Gaza, she added. These circumstances significantly hinder the ability to conduct health initiatives safely, she maintained.

The initial round of the vaccination campaign, which took place from September 1 to 12, successfully vaccinated 559,161 children, representing about 95% of the target population. The second round commenced in central and southern Gaza on October 14; however, it has been unable to reach children in the northern Strip.

For the last 25 days, the Israeli military has intensified its offensive in northern Gaza, particularly in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, contributing to what is being described as one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world. The relentless bombardment has targeted civilians, resulted in the destruction of homes, and severely hindered the delivery of crucial aid, including food, water, medicine and fuel. This escalation has led to over a thousand fatalities and thousands of injuries. Dozens of people remain missing.

PFB statement condemns the Zionist UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s comments, in which he denied genocide in Gaza

Zaher Birawi, the chairman of the Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB), has condemned in the strongest possible terms UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s recent comments dismissing the term “genocide” in describing Israel’s systematic destruction of Gaza.

“Lammy’s remarks not only distort the legal and historical significance of genocide but also dangerously minimize the horrific atrocities inflicted on the Palestinian people. Israel’s escalated actions—including targeting civilians, destroying essential infrastructure, and blocking humanitarian aid—unequivocally meet the criteria of genocide as defined in international law,” he added in a statement on Tuesday.

Birawi added, “We call on David Lammy to retract his comments and recognize the reality of Gaza’s genocide. We also urge the UK government and the international community to act decisively to end these atrocities and hold Israel accountable under international law. Failure to do so perpetuates this cycle of violence and suffering, undermining justice and Palestinian rights.”

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, has substantiated these claims, finding “reasonable grounds” that genocide is indeed being committed against Palestinians in Gaza. Albanese’s report identifies Israel’s actions—inflicting grave bodily and psychological harm, imposing life-threatening conditions, and obstructing critical aid—as deliberate acts of extermination aimed at destroying a people in whole or in part. “This truth is obscured by Lammy’s comments, which dangerously overlook the global consensus on the severity of these crimes,” the PFB chairman underlined.

He said, “The recent Knesset vote to expel the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) from Palestinian territories is another alarming escalation. This move undermines a vital source of humanitarian aid to over a million Palestinians, deepening the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. Israel’s baseless designation of UNRWA as a “terror group” is a thinly veiled attempt to sever Gaza’s humanitarian support and to eliminate witnesses to its suffering. Lammy’s indifference to these actions serves to whitewash the scale of the atrocities endured by the Palestinian people.”

“We stand in unwavering solidarity with our people in Gaza, whose resilience endures despite unimaginable hardship. The Palestinian Forum in Britain calls upon all who stand for justice to join us in opposing the atrocities in Gaza. Silence is complicity; we must all demand an end to the suffering in Gaza,” Birawi concluded.

Borrell: The world is “on the brink of a major fire”

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, stated that the world is “on the brink of a major fire” as long as the Israeli war continues in Gaza and Lebanon, reflecting “a loss of humanity and a disregard for the conflicts” in the Middle East.

Speaking to Spanish radio station RNE, Borrell said “The UN has confirmed that Gaza is experiencing the most severe and dangerous humanitarian crisis in the world since World War II,” adding, “What is happening in the Middle East shows that we have lost our humanity.”

He further expressed concerns of the international community about the possibility of Israel attacking nuclear or oil facilities in Iran, calling for “strong measures” to halt the conflict in the Middle East.

Regarding arms exports to Israel, Borrell clarified, “There is no common decision within the EU to halt arms sales to Israel. Each country in the EU has its own decision-making authority regarding arms sales.”

“Each country decides what is appropriate for it; I cannot prevent anyone from doing something or recommend doing something else,” he added.

“Spain, Italy, and France have suspended arms sales to Israel, unlike other countries such as Germany, which is enhancing its military assistance to Israel.”

Resheq warns of Smotrich’s remarks on expanding settlements, displacing Palestinians

Member of Hamas’s political bureau Ezzat al-Resheq has strongly denounced renewed “fascist” remarks made by Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich, in which he called for expanding settlements, annexing more occupied lands and displacing the Palestinian people.

In a statement on Monday, Resheq said that such remarks reflected Israeli insistence on continuing its fascist and aggressive policy against the Palestinian people and their land.

“This is a flagrant violation of the international law and a disregard for the international resolutions rejecting the crimes of settlements and the genocidal war,” Resheq stressed.

“Once again, these remarks have revealed to the world the criminal reality of this occupation and its hostile plans against our historical land and people and clearly asserted that this racist and fascist policy poses a great danger to the region’s security and stability,” the Hamas official said.

He stressed the need for all countries to condemn such remarks and make every effort to curb Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people, their land and holy sites and to support their steadfastness and their struggle for their national rights.

'Hamas: Israel not serious about reaching an agreement

A leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, Tahir Al-Nunu, said that the Israeli occupation is not serious about reaching an agreement to conclude a prisoner exchange deal or to end the ongoing war.

In televised statements on Monday evening, Al-Nunu affirmed that the Israeli government, headed by Netanyahu, does not want to reach an agreement.

Netanyahu is using this war as an election campaign to support Donald Trump, Al-Nunu added.

He stressed that the Israeli occupation, over the course of a whole year, has not been able to achieve its proclaimed goals, except for massacres against children and women.

“There is a Palestinian consensus and a unified vision, excluding any non-Palestinian party from ruling the Palestinian people.”

He pointed out that “there are ongoing meetings and discussions between Hamas and the Palestinian factions to develop a common national vision for the day after the war.”

Al-Nunu further said that Hamas is making successive tours “to stop the Israeli aggression against our Palestinian people.”

“The American administration is a partner of the Israeli occupation in all its crimes and massacres,” he concluded.
