Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry:

By October 28, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 53,020+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (43,020), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By October 28, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 101,110.

By October 27, 2024, 764 Palestinians who were killed, 6,519 who were injured, and 11,651, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

By October 27, 2024, according to initial reports, 38 Lebanese civilians were killed, 124 were injured, by the Israeli genocidal raids on Lebanon, in the past 24 hours. Thus, the Lebanese death toll, since October 8, 2023, has surged to 2,691 fatalities and more than 12,484 injuries.

Since September 23, 2024, the Lebanese death toll rose to 1,798 and the injuries to 5,747.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Dozens killed and injured as Israeli shelling continues in Lebanon; death toll rises to 2,710

BEIRUT, OCTOBER 28, 2024 (WAFA) -

Renewed Israeli shelling across various regions in Lebanon resulted in the killing and injury of dozens of Lebanese citizens, alongside extensive destruction to buildings, facilities and infrastructure.

The Lebanese Health Ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported that the total number of people killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression has now reached 2,710, in addition to 12,592 injured.

Earlier today, 22 citizens were killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the city of Soor (Tyre) and the town of Al-Ramadiya in southern Lebanon.

Five martyrs, ten wounded in Israeli bombing of residential building in Soor (Tyre), in south Lebanon

Five Lebanese citizens were martyred and 10 others were injured on Monday in an Israeli military airstrike that targeted a residential building in Al-Raml neighborhood in the city of Soor (Tyre), south of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, according to the National News Agency (NNA).

NNA pointed out that Israeli attacks on the villages of Soor (Tyre) and Bint Jbeil lasted from last night until Monday morning, adding that Israeli warplanes bombed a building in the city of Soor (Tyre) near the Al-Jawad restaurant, leading to martyrs and injuries, while civil defense teams are still searching for missing people under the rubble.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelling targeted several Lebanese towns with no injuries reported.

For its part, Hezbollah announced bombing Kiryat Shmona settlement in northern Israel with a barrage of missiles on Monday, a day after launching an evacuation warning asking the remaining settlers in it to leave after declaring it a military target.

Martyrs, wounded in ongoing Israeli aggression on South Lebanon, Biqaa'

Israeli occupation aircraft continue to conduct airstrikes on various villages in the Biqaa' Valley and southern Lebanon, resulting in numerous martyrs and dozens of injuries.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Monday that the updated toll from a raid on a building in the Ramel neighborhood of Soor (Tyre), southern Lebanon, has tragically reached seven martyrs and 17 wounded.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the region, Civil Defense and Red Cross teams are actively engaged in removing rubble as they search for any missing persons in the devastated building.

The airstrikes on the Saraya neighborhood in Nabatieh also marked a tragic escalation in the ongoing war, resulting in one martyr and three injured, with the attack destroying homes, residential buildings, and shops.

Furthermore, the Israeli air force intensified its attacks against southern Lebanon, executing multiple raids between Kfar Tibnit and Nabatieh al-Fawqa, as well as targeting Arnoun and Yahmar al-Shaqif. 

In an overnight raid on Ain Baal, seven civilians were martyred and 24 others injured, including a nurse and three paramedics. 

As rescue efforts continue, Civil Defense and medical aid teams are tirelessly searching for survivors under the rubble, with several people reported missing. Notably, the targeted building was affiliated with the Civil Defense of the Islamic Message Scouts Association and the Message Medical Ambulance Association.

The total number of martyred paramedics since the beginning of the aggression has thus risen to 168 martyrs, and the number of wounded has reached 275.

Two other paramedics killed

In a tragic escalation, the Israeli military targeted a building in Burj al-Shamali, resulting in the martyrdom of five individuals, including two paramedics from the Islamic Health Authority. This incident reflects the increasing toll on medical personnel and the civilian population amidst the ongoing war. 

This morning, Israeli artillery targeted several towns, including Aita al-Shaab, Ramyah, al-Dhayrah, al-Bustan, Aitaroun, and Kawnin, firing multiple heavy shells. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, although the attacks resulted in significant material damage to property and infrastructure. 

On Monday at dawn, the Lebanese Health Ministry announced that the number of martyrs from the aggression that targeted Haret Saida in Sidon has risen to nine martyrs and 38 wounded.

The Israeli occupation conducted a raid on Baalbek on Sunday, targeting a house in the Dahr al-Souwwaneh area on the outskirts of Shmistar. The attack destroyed the house, the death of its owner, and injuries to three children.

In the latest update on the impact of Israeli aggression on Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll has risen to 2,672, with 12,468 individuals injured, as of last Saturday evening. These figures remain subject to change.

The Israeli occupation continues to target southern Lebanon and the Biqaa' Valley, intensifying airstrikes on the city of Tyre, where seven people were killed and at least 17 others were injured.

On October 28, 2024, 2,710 civilians were martyred and 12,592 were injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

Yesterday (October 27, 2024), 38 were killed and 124 others were injured, according to the Ministry's daily toll update.

Today, the Israeli occupation continued to target southern Lebanese areas and the Beqaa Valley, intensifying air raids on the city of Tyre, where seven people were killed and at least 17 others were injured in the Raml neighborhood, as reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

While the Israeli airstrikes focused on Tyre, other southern towns, including Burghliyeh, Qlaileh, Beit al-Seyyed, Ramadiyeh, Sh'aytieh, Zebqin, Jbal al-Butm, and Jabal Balat, were also bombarded. It was also reported that a bulldozer was struck in Burj Qalaway.

Later, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in South Lebanon reported that three members of the civil defense affiliated with the Islamic Health Authority were martyred in the Israeli raid on the town of Ramadiyeh.

Additionally, Israeli occupation forces attacked the towns of Arab Salim and Arnoun, Ali al-Taher hill in Nabatieh, areas near Qalaat al-Shaqif facing Khardali, and the area between Kafr Tibnit and Upper Nabatieh. Artillery shelling hit the outskirts of Kfar Kila, and Israeli jets launched an attack on Deir Siryan.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, the Israeli artillery has been targeting the outskirts of Kfar Chouba and Halta.

Israeli aggression of Beqaa kills several

In the Beqaa, an Israeli occupation airstrike on Halaniya resulted in two deaths and seven injuries, as reported by Al Mayadeen's correspondent, who assessed the extensive destruction.

In Shmestar, west of Baalbek, another person was killed, and three others were injured following an Israeli air raid on the town.

An Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle in Tarayya, west of Baalbek, while two additional airstrikes hit Al-Quseir and Mashghara.

At least 6 were martyred in a new massacre in the town of Bouday, west of Baalbek district.

In Bourj al-Barajneh, Beirut’s Southern Suburb, specifically on Hatoum Street, two floors of a previously targeted building collapsed.

Moreover, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, two Israeli airstrikes target the mountains of Younin and the town of al-Ram in the northern Baalbek district, resulting in several casualties.

Israel continues its war on Lebanon for the 36th day, 'Hizbullah warns Kiryat Shmona residents to evacuate

The Israeli occupation forces continued their bloody war on Lebanon for the 36th consecutive day on Monday, launching more airstrikes, artillery shelling, and ground incursions into several border villages.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that three citizens were martyred and two others injured due to the targeting of a house in the Raml neighborhood of Tyre, southern Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that 2,672 martyrs have been reported, with 12,468 Lebanese citizens injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on the country on October 8, 2023.

The Ministry of Health also noted that Israeli occupation forces have killed 168 paramedics and injured 275 since the onset of the aggression. It pointed out that the Israeli air strike on a health emergency center in the town of Ain Ba’al killed seven citizens, including paramedics and a nurse, with 24 others injured in an updated count.

Fourteen citizens were martyred and 39 others injured in two Israeli airstrikes on the towns of Harat Sidon and Al-Burj Al-Shamali on Sunday. Five martyrs fell due to an Israeli strike on the village of Al-Burj Al-Shamali.

Israeli airstrikes and shelling On Monday morning, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the vicinity of the town of Zibqin, the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, and the town of Shamsar in the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that three citizens were martyred and two others injured due to the targeting of a house in the Raml neighborhood of Tyre.

Lebanese media noted that enemy warplanes bombed a residential building in the city of Tyre early Monday. It was mentioned that a series of Israeli airstrikes targeted the Ali al-Tahir heights in Nabatiyeh and the area between Nabatiyeh and Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese sources reported that Israeli aircraft carried out a strike on the town of Babliyeh in the Saida district of southern Lebanon. Last night, Israeli warplanes targeted the vicinity of the town of Al-Qatrani with at least two strikes, as well as another strike on the town of Al-Housh.

Lebanese media reported that Israeli warplanes carried out a fierce airstrike targeting the city of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon and struck the town of Kfar Hammam, while they bombed the city of Al-Khayyam three times. The Israeli warplanes bombed the town of Al-Bazourieh, the outskirts of Babliyeh in Nabatiyeh, and the vicinity of the town of Haboush in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah counterattacks The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced, since early Monday morning, a series of operations in which Hezbollah fighters targeted several Israeli military sites in southern Lebanon and northern Israel. Hezbollah said in several military announcements that the resistance fighters targeted, for the third time, an enemy troops gathering at the Fatima Gate with a missile barrage.

The Islamic Resistance targeted Israeli soldiers gathering between the settlements of “Al-Manara” and “Margalit” with missile barrages on two occasions. Over the past 24 hours, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon executed 29 operations and attacks against Israeli military targets and others targeting settlements and barracks in northern Israel and southern Lebanon.

'Hizbullah carried out an aerial attack with a swarm of kamikaze drones on the “Yodifot” military industry company in the Bar-Lev industrial area southeast of Akko. It targeted gatherings of Israeli soldiers with missile barrages and kamikaze drones in the settlements of: Al-Malikiah, Karmiel, Margalit, Al-Manara (three times), Be’er Ya’akov, Misgav Am (twice), Nahariya, and Yad Eliezer.

The Islamic Resistance bombarded occupation forces and gatherings of Israeli soldiers with missile barrages, kamikaze drones, and artillery shells at the northern entrance of the Marj site, at the Fatima Gate, and at the outskirts of the town of Aitaroun (twice), south of the town of Dahira, in Khela Naif at the outskirts of the town of Hula.

It continued, “The Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli infantry force in the town of Hula with a guided missile, in addition to bombarding the Ibla outpost, the Zawara position, and the Zofolun military industry base north of Haifa.”

The Islamic Resistance’s air defense unit intercepted Israeli warplanes in the skies of the western sector and a “Hermes 900” drone with surface-to-air missiles, forcing it to leave Lebanese airspace. An attack was launched with kamikaze drones on the settlements of: Kfar Yuval, Sa’sa, Zar’it, and Shomera.

Hezbollah issued an urgent warning early Monday to settlers in the Kiryat Shmona settlement, similar to warnings given to other settlements in northern Israel, calling for their “immediate evacuation.”

The warning text, published by Hezbollah on its official Instagram page early Monday, read, “To the residents of the Kiryat Shmona settlement, you must evacuate immediately.”

Hezbollah published warnings for residents of several settlements in northern Israel to evacuate, “after they became places where the Israeli army is stationed and attacks Lebanon.” Hezbollah had previously issued a video through the military media of the Islamic Resistance, ordering evacuations for several settlements and demanding their residents to leave.

It warned: “By doing so, they have become legitimate military targets for the air and missile forces of the Islamic Resistance.”

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 388th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

According to media sources, an Israeli warplane bombed a group of citizens near Al-Qatati Mosque in Jabalya Al-Nazla, north of Gaza, killing two citizens.

An ambulance crew evacuated the bodies of a father and his son from ash-Sha’er family after an Israeli drone targeted them in Khirbet Al-'Adas area in Rafa'h, south of Gaza.

Two other civilians were killed in an Israeli attack near the Badr Mosque in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

An Israeli shooting and projectile attack on tents in central Gaza claimed the lives of three civilians and injured others.

A child was also shot dead by Israeli forces in the east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

More casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces bombed Al-Hawja street in the camp, resulting in the killing of several civilians and the injury of others.

The occupation’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 43,020 civilians, and the injury of 101,110 others, mostly children and women.

Thousands remain missing, either trapped under rubble or scattered along the roads, as rescue teams struggle to reach them amid ongoing Israeli attacks and the extensive debris obstructing access.

Three civilians killed, others wounded in Israeli bombardment of central Gaza

Three civilians were killed and others were injured on Monday evening in the Israeli bombardment of different areas in the central Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, The Palestine Red Crescent paramedics transported one body and several wounded to the Al-'Awda hospital in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip, following the occupation’s artillery attack targeting houses on Block 12 in Al-Buraij refugee camp.

Several other civilians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli drone shelling that targeted a group of civilians in the town of Al-Zawayda in the center of the Strip.

The occupation’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 43,020 civilians, and the injury of 101,110 others, mostly children and women.

Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya: Israeli forces killed our children before our eyes because we are doctors

Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, director of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, started crying as he remembered his martyred son, and expressed the deep pain he feels as a result of his loss and the horrific events taking place in northern Gaza.

In remarks to Al Jazeera satellite channel on Sunday, Abu Safiya said that the Israeli occupation army killed his son because of the humanitarian message he delivers as a doctor, pointing out that he buried his son next to a wall at the hospital.

“We have lost everything in this hospital, even our children. They broke our hearts over the hospital and killed our children before our eyes because we carry a humanitarian message. We have to bury them with our own hands,” Abu Safiya added.

Last Friday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in Bait Lahya, north of Gaza, and went on the rampage through its departments before they kidnaped hundreds of patients and wounded people, along with their relatives and 44 medical staff and employees working for the hospital.

Palestinian injured by IOF gunfire in Toulkarm

A Palestinian citizen was injured on Monday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) opened fire at him in Tulkarem, north of the West Bank.

According to the Red Crescent, its paramedics provided a citizen suffering from a bullet injury in his leg with first aid before transferring him to a hospital in Toulkarm City for medical assistance.

The IOFs opened fire at the citizen during his presence near the gate of Baqa Al-Sharqiyya town in the northeast of Toulkarm.

In a separate incident, bulldozers belonging to the Israeli army continued today to bulldoze vast tracts of Palestinian-owned land in 'Azzoun town, east of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.

IOFs storm Jineen, Nablus amid fierce clashes with resistance fighters

Clashes broke out between resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) as they were storming the western area of Jineen city in the West Bank at dawn Monday.

The IOFs stormed Al-Nasra (Nazareth) Street in the city of Jenin, amid fierce confrontation from resistance fighters who detonated explosives at the entrance to the town of Yamoun.

The Palestinian resistance also targeted Israeli troops with gunfire and homemade explosives devices, at the entrance to Silat Al-'Harithiya, west of Jenin.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Nablus governorate, particularly the old 'Askar refugee camp, east of the city, according to local sources.

The sources explained that an Israeli special force infiltrated the old 'Askar camp and besieged a house in the Al-'Iyada neighborhood, then deployed snipers on the adjacent buildings’ rooftops.

The IOF then sent reinforcements to the old Askar refugee camp, and fired smoke bombs towards citizens in the area, the sources added.

At dawn hours, the IOFs kidnapped two young men from the nearby village of Yetma, and broke into several houses in Qusra town, south of Nablus.

Marwan Al-Barghouthi brutally assaulted by Israeli jailers last month

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs said that senior Fat'h official Marwan Al-Barghouthi and a number of his fellow prisoners were exposed last month to brutal assaults by Israeli occupation soldiers in the Israeli occupation apartheid regime prison of Megiddo.

The Commission received information about Al-Barghouthi through its lawyer who was able recently to visit Megiddo prison after the Israeli prison authority had barred prisoners from receiving visits for about three months.

According to the lawyer, soldiers from a prison repression unit brutally beat Al-Barghouthi in his isolation cell in September 9, injuring him all over his body.

Prison forces also assaulted other prisoners in the same jail, the lawyer added.

Al-Barghouthi had already been assaulted twice during the past year in Ofer and Megiddo jails. He has been held in solitary confinement since the Israeli war on Gaza started last year.

The Popular Campaign for the Release of Barghouthi described the latest assault on Al-Barghouthi as “unprecedented” and “more brutal than the previous physical attacks that happened to him.”

The Popular Campaign accused Israeli jailers of intending to inflict significant and chronic physical harm on Al-Barghouthi.

The Popular Campaign called on international human rights organizations to shoulder their responsibilities and work on protecting Al-Barghouthi and other Palestinian prisoners against Israeli violations.

Palestinian forced to self-demolish his home in Bait 'Haeeina, in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime Monday forced a Palestinian citizen to self-demolish his home in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) neighborhood of Bait Haneena.

The owner of the house, Sabir Al-Qawasmi told WAFA that Israeli forces, accompanied by staff from the so-called Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem, raided the house this morning and handed him a notice to demolish it within three weeks, or else the Israeli municipality would demolish it and obligate him to pay the exorbitant costs.

Al-Qawasmi stated that he built his 75-square-meter house around 15 years ago and has since incurred financial penalties totaling up to NIS 46,000 in an effort to obtain a license to prevent its demolition. However, despite his considerable efforts, all attempts have ultimately failed.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli authorities compel Palestinian citizens to demolish their own homes under the pretext of lacking building permits. Those who refuse face demolition by occupation bulldozers, resulting in significant financial penalties for the homeowners.

The Jerusalem municipality refuses to issue building permits to Palestinian citizens, compelling them to either demolish their homes or face demolition by Israeli authorities. This practice violates international laws and humanitarian norms that uphold the right to housing. It forms part of a broader strategy by the occupation to systematically displace Palestinians from Jerusalem to facilitate the expansion of colonies in the area.

A report issued by the Jerusalem governorate revealed that during the third quarter of 2024, there were a total of 154 demolitions and excavations in the Jerusalem area. This figure includes 24 forced demolitions and 118 demolitions conducted by occupation authorities, along with 12 excavation activities.

Four Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) Palestinian brothers forced to demolish parts of their homes in Al-Tour

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) forced on Monday four Palestinian brothers to demolish parts of their homes in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) town of Al-Tour at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

According to local sources, four brothers from the family of Abul-Hawa had to demolish parts of their homes to avoid paying the Israeli municipality an exorbitant amount of money in fines and demolition expenses if its crews carried out the measure.

Last September, the IOAR carried out 21 demolition measures against Palestinian homes and structures in east Jerusalem, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.

Hundreds of Jerusalemite homes are threatened with demolition or appropriation as part of Israel’s Judaization plans in the occupied holy city.

The Maqdisis (Jerusalemites) have no choice but to build without licenses because there are no structural maps that respond to the natural increase in their numbers.

The IOAR also imposes building restrictions on the Palestinian natives in east Jerusalem and makes it hard for them to obtain construction licenses.

Israel’s systematic demolition of Palestinian homes in the holy city is believed to be aimed at psychologically destroying the Jerusalemite families in an attempt to force them to move from the city.

Illegal Israeli settlers storm archaeological site in Al-Khaleel (Hebron), perform Talmudic rituals

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), OCTOBER 28, 2024 (WAFA) -

A number of the illegal Israeli settlers Monday evening stormed the archaeological site of Tel Ma'een in the town of Karmil south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to local sources.

Sources said that colonists from nearby colonies established on Palestinian lands east of Yatta broke into the site, performing Talmudic rituals and photographing the area's historical landmarks, including an ancient olive press and a Roman palace.

In a related incident, an armed colonist broke into the village of Umm Al-Khair in the Masafir Yatta area under the protection of Israeli forces, spreading panic and fear among residents, particularly children and women.

Since the onset of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023, colonists’ attacks against Palestinians and their properties have increased significantly. The indiscriminate attacks, which include the destruction of homes and properties, have drawn widespread condemnation from various international bodies and human rights organizations.

In response to the escalating violence, several countries have imposed sanctions targeting Israeli colonists accused of perpetrating acts of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.

Illegal Israeli settlers assault Palestinian man picking olives northwest of Salfeet

A number of the illegal Israeli settlers today assaulted a Palestinian  man from the town of Dair Istya, northwest of Salfeet.

Local sources reported that a group of Israeli colonists assaulted the young man Yousuf Salman, 27, while he was picking olives in the Al-Magheeba area north of the town, and tried to kidnap him.

In a related context, colonists pumped wastewater today into citizens' lands in the town of Dair Istya.

Local sources reported that colonists from the illegal colony of Yakir pumped wastewater into lands planted with about 60 olive trees.

Several Palestinians suffocate by tear gas in Nablus-area confrontations

Several Palestinians suffered from tear gas suffocation during confrontations that broke out on Monday evening with Israeli occupation forces in the villages of Madama and Burin, south of Nablus, said local sources.

Sources said that Israeli forces stormed the villages of Madama and Burin, amid the firing of live ammunition, sound bombs and tear gas canisters, leading to confrontations.

As a result, several Palestinians suffered from suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.

Euro-Med: Israeli army bombed shelter centers in Gaza Strip 39 times during October

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor documented that the Israeli occupation army targeted shelter centers in the Gaza Strip 39 times since the beginning of October 2024, resulting in the deaths of 188 Palestinians and injuries to hundreds more. This marks a serious escalation in crimes targeting civilian gathering places, especially in northern Gaza, aimed at forcibly emptying it of its Palestinian residents.

The Euro-Med Monitor said that its field team recorded the Israeli army’s targeting of schools, hospitals, clinics, and halls used for shelter 65 times since the beginning of August this year, 39 of which occurred in October. During these incidents, 672 Palestinians were killed, and over a thousand others were injured.

The report highlights that 57 of these attacks targeted locations in northern Gaza and Gaza City, while 8 occurred in central Gaza. The attacks include bombings, direct gunfire, and the killing of forcibly displaced individuals and their families, or forcing them to evacuate schools under fire or through orders of forced displacement, followed by burning or destroying these schools to render them uninhabitable and to prevent the displaced from returning.

The Monitor noted that Israel’s systematic policy of destroying shelter centers further tightens the noose on the available options for residents regarding places they can seek refuge, facilitating Israel’s goals of destroying and forcibly displacing Palestinians and altering the demographic makeup of the region, especially in northern Gaza. Various Israeli officials have explicitly expressed their intention to annex and settle in the area.

The Euro-Mediterranean team documented the scattering of dozens of Palestinian families and the separation of their members due to the targeting of shelter places and the subsequent repeated waves of forced displacement, which have compounded their psychological suffering, especially among children.

Targeting shelter places is considered a fundamental part of Israel’s strategy to undermine the social structures of Palestinians in Gaza, continuing to weaken the population psychologically and physically, and eradicating their shared spaces that could provide some degree of psychological and social support.

Furthermore, the targeting of shelter places negatively affects families’ and individuals’ access to humanitarian aid, as many of these sites serve as distribution points for humanitarian assistance from charities. If they are forced to flee to other locations, they may find themselves in areas lacking access to available humanitarian aid, which is already limited in the region, exacerbating the humanitarian situation and increasing the suffering of the population.

The Euro-Med Monitor reported that its field team documented, on the afternoon of Sunday, October 27, the Israeli air force bombing the “Asma” school, which shelters thousands of displaced individuals in the Shati Camp west of Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of 11 Palestinians, including 4 journalists, among them two women, and injuries to dozens more. This bombing came eight days after the Israeli air force targeted the same school, killing eight Palestinians and injuring others.

The field team also documented the bombing of the “Shuhada Al-Nusayrat” secondary school for boys, which shelters thousands of displaced individuals in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 18 Palestinians, including 12 children and 3 women, and injuries to 52 others.

A review conducted by the Euro-Med field team revealed that none of the victims were militants, among whom was Professor Ashraf Yaqub Al-Jadi, 54 years old, the dean of the nursing faculty at the Islamic University of Gaza.

The Monitor noted that the Israeli occupation army evacuated no fewer than 10 schools housing thousands of displaced individuals in northern Gaza, burning most of them. This evacuation followed the sending of Palestinian detainees or quadcopter aircraft, ordering those inside to evacuate and head to checkpoints established by the Israeli occupation army.

The occupation forces also unexpectedly bombed some of these schools, as happened with the Jabalya Preparatory School, where 10 displaced individuals were killed on October 21, and the Zaid bin Haritha School, where 7 displaced individuals were killed on October 22.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor renewed its call on all countries to fulfill their international responsibilities to stop the crime of genocide and the serious crimes being committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip, to protect civilians there, to ensure Israel’s compliance with international law and the decisions of the International Court of Justice, to impose effective sanctions on Israel, and to halt all forms of political, financial, and military support provided to it, including an immediate cessation of arms sales, exports, and transfers to Israel, as well as export licenses and military assistance.

It also called for accountability and prosecution of countries complicit and partners with Israel in committing crimes, especially those supplying Israel with any forms of support or assistance related to these crimes, including providing aid and engaging in contractual relationships in military, intelligence, political, legal, financial, media, and other fields that may contribute to the continuation of these crimes.

The Monitor demanded the activation of all available accountability and prosecution pathways at the international, regional, and local levels, including serious and joint efforts to activate the pathway of universal jurisdiction to hold accountable the perpetrators of crimes against Palestinian civilians before the national courts of countries that recognize this jurisdiction.
