Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry:

By November 10, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 53,603+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (43,603), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+). 

By November 10, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 102,929.

By November 10, 2024, 782 Palestinians who were killed, 6,541 who were injured, and 11,758, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

By November 10, 2024, according to initial reports, 54 Lebanese civilians were killed, 56 were injured, by the Israeli genocidal raids on Lebanon, in the past 24 hours. Thus, the Lebanese death toll, since October 8, 2023, has surged to 3,243 fatalities and more than 14,134 injuries.

Since September 23, 2024, the Lebanese death toll rose to 2,301 and the injuries to 7,186.

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيرًا" ‎(الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

"If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter promise comes, (our worshippers) will sadden your faces, and will enter the Masjid, as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they will take over, with (total) destruction" (Al-Isra, 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Dozens killed and injured in ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon

BEIRUT, November 11, 2024 (WAFA) -

Dozens of Lebanese citizens were killed and injured on Monday as the Israeli occupation's assault on Lebanon persists, leaving extensive damage to buildings, facilities and infrastructure.

For the first time since the beginning of the assault, Israeli aircrafts targeted the town of Ain Ya'qoub in in 'Akkar Governorate in northern Lebanon, resulting in the killing of 14 Lebanese citizens and the injury of several others.

Additionally, 12 Lebanese citizens were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Al-Saksakiya in southern Lebanon.

Death toll in Lebanon rises to 3,2043 as massacres, strikes escalate

The Israeli occupation forces are carrying out dozens of massacres daily in Lebanon, killing and maiming thousands in Lebanon thus far, with residential areas severely impacted.

The Israeli occupation forces continued Monday their relentless assaults on Lebanese villages and towns across the south, Biqaa', and north, committing further atrocities against civilians while destroying buildings, infrastructure, and religious and historical sites.

In the latest wave of Israeli aggression in the south, Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on the town of Saksakiyye in the Sayda district, killing seven civilians and wounding seven others, according to preliminary reports. Simultaneously, Israeli jets targeted the town of Debbin in the Marjaayoun district with two missiles, while artillery shelling hit the town of Sheb'a.

Israeli airstrikes also targeted a house in the town of Yater, completely destroying it, as reported by the National News Agency. The attacks also extended to the town of Burj Qalaway, with Israeli artillery shelling the area around the Khiam detention center.

Further airstrikes targeted the outskirts of the town of Qana, the Ras Al-Saleeb area, and the Batem mountains. A particularly intense airstrike was carried out between Ramadiya and Siddiqeen in the Soor (Tyre) district.

Escalating aggression on the south

Additionally, Israeli airstrikes hit the outskirts of the Rashidiyeh refugee camp south of Soor (Tyre), with multiple raids on the town of Mansouri. The National News Agency reported three martyrs in the Israeli airstrike on the village of Srifa, specifically in the Qfifat neighborhood.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces have been planting explosives and demolishing several homes on the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab, which borders occupied Palestine, since this morning.

Israeli warplanes also carried out airstrikes on the center of the town of Ansar in Al-Nabatiya district, hitting the area in two waves. Further strikes targeted the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh, while Israeli artillery shelled the town of Yo'hmor al-Shaqeef and its surroundings, as well as the neighboring town of Arnoun.

In the afternoon, Israeli jets bombed the historic Al-Bayyadh Mosque in the city of Al-Nabatiya, completely destroying it. Another airstrike targeted a building on the Nabatieh-Shaqif Road, and the town of Kfar Remman was also struck, with a building destroyed in the attack.

Biqaa' under heavy fire

At the same time, an Israeli drone carried out an airstrike on the town of Housh Sayyed Ali in the Hermel district, while another Israeli strike targeted the vicinity of Shmistar.

Three martyrs were reported following an Israeli airstrike on the town of Maydoon in western Bekaa. In the northern region, an Israeli raid targeted a house in the town of Ain Yaaqoub in Akkar, resulting in 28 people, including Syrians, displaced civilians, and local residents, being martyred or injured.

Israeli warplanes also breached the sound barrier over Rashayya and the western Bekaa in four separate waves.

Today's casualties add to the growing toll of the ongoing aggression, with 3,243 martyrs and 14,134 injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression. Sunday's airstrikes alone resulted in 54 martyrs and 56 injured.

More money to kill more civilians

A couple of weeks ago, the Israeli occupation government, amid its ongoing war against Gaza and Lebanon, approved its 2025 budget, paving the way for increased military spending and tax hikes, the American news agency, Bloomberg, reported.

The agency noted that the 2025 budget, which focuses on further military spending, reflects a profound shift in priorities since the war began more than a year ago, adding that "defense expenditure at about 6% of GDP will reflect the new priorities of Israel."

It pointed out that this level of spending is "well above the figure of 4.2% in 2022 and the OECD average of 1.7%."

Bloomberg's report further explained that "the conflicts in Gaza and against Hezbollah in Lebanon, as well as heightened tensions with Iran, have weakened Israel’s economy and finances and forced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to focus on reining in the budget deficit."

It added that the deficit target for the coming year has been set at 4.3% of GDP, with military spending expected to be the largest among all ministries, totaling 117 billion shekels, which is "similar to last year’s figure but 80% higher than the pre-war plan for 2024."

Bloomberg also recalled a statement from Netanyahu before discussing the budget, in which he said, "There is no economy without limits," adding that "if you give to one area, you need to take from another." He used this as a justification to continue funding the war while neglecting other aspects of the Israeli economy.

'Israel' killed 3,186 in Lebanon as massacres, strikes escalate

The Israeli aggression is escalating against Lebanon's South and Biqaa' regions, with numerous massacres committed and several residential areas bombed severely.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, through its Public Health Emergency Operations Center, released its daily report on Sunday outlining the toll from ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon. The ministry reported that, as of Saturday, the total toll of the war on Lebanon has reached 3,186 martyrs and 14,078 injuries.

In recent developments, Israeli airstrikes on Saturday claimed the lives of 53 civilians and left 99 others wounded.

Intensified strikes across Southern Lebanon

The Israeli Air Force conducted multiple airstrikes across southern Lebanon, hitting various civilian targets, including in the town of Al-Shahabiya, where an airstrike devastated a residential area, resulting in the loss of life and additional injuries. Another airstrike targeted a home in the town of Marwaniya, killing one individual and wounding numerous others.

Around 4:30 pm, an airstrike on a residence in the village of Jumayjuma, in the Bint Jubail district, killed three people.

The Israeli occupation forces also launched artillery strikes, including shelling the western outskirts of Burj Al-Mulouk and areas near Dair Mimas, close to the historical Al-Shaqeef Castle.

Soor (Tyre) under heavy bombardment

The coastal region around Soor (Tyre) has been particularly hard-hit, where in Burj Rahal, the Israeli Air Force targeted the Ain al-Touti area with airstrikes, causing widespread destruction. In another strike, a home in the town of Blat was hit, while the village of Khiam was subjected to artillery bombardment.

The ministry also reported a tragic incident in Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, where airstrikes struck a gathering point for medics. 14 people were killed in the attack, including seven emergency responders. This incident, which targeted rescue teams, has been condemned as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

In a separate aggression in the Jubail district, an Israeli airstrike on the village of Almat killed 23 people, including seven children. Rescue teams retrieved bodies from the site, and ongoing identification efforts suggest the final death toll could rise further. Six additional people were reported wounded, some in critical condition. By yesterday evening, the toll in 'Alamat had risen to 24 dead and eight wounded.

Continued strikes on Sayda, Al-Nabatiya

The southern city of Sayda witnessed multiple airstrikes, including attacks between the villages of Baysarieh and Qaaqaiyat al-Sanawbar. Another strike targeted areas near Adlousiyah, hitting the Khirb locality.

In Al-Nabatiya district, Israeli airstrikes were also reported between the areas of Jibsheet and Kfar Dajjal around 2:30 pm.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health continues to monitor the humanitarian impact of the conflict, which has seen escalating attacks on civilian areas, including medical and rescue operations, drawing calls for accountability under international law.

Biqaa' under escalating aggression

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health's Emergency Operations Center reported an increase in casualties from Israeli airstrikes targeting the Baalbek-Hermel region, which have led to several deaths and injuries across various locations in the region.

In a statement, the Emergency Operations Center confirmed an Israeli airstrike on the Zaghrine-Mazra'at Sajed area, resulting in four deaths and one injury. Another strike in the town of Badnayel killed three civilians and wounded six others.

Further airstrikes targeted the village of Shaat in Ba'albek-Hirmil, where four additional civilians were killed. Meanwhile, an airstrike on the town of Ras al-Hadath resulted in the deaths of four family members: Nidal al-Haj 'Hasan, his wife, Iktimal, and their daughters, Israa and Batoul. Their third child, Yousuf, was injured in the attack.

The ministry's report also detailed strikes against other parts of Ba'albek-Hirmil. An attack on Sar'een junction killed one and wounded seven others, while a strike on Bayt al-Lakkis neighborhood wounded three civilians.

IOFs commit new massacre in Biqaa', death toll rises to 3,136

The Israeli occupation bombed various towns in the south and the Biqaa' region, committing a massacre in the town of Al-Kaneisa and targeting rescue workers in two southern towns.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli occupation aggression on Lebanon has risen to 3,136, in addition to 13,979 injuries, with Friday’s attacks alone resulting in 19 martyrs and 91 wounded.

On Saturday, the Israeli occupation intensified its bombing, targeting areas in the Biqaa' region. Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent reported a preliminary toll of 10 martyrs in an Israeli massacre in the town of Al-Kaneisa in northern Biqaa'.

The correspondent indicated that search and rescue operations are still ongoing at the site of the massacre in Al-Kaneisa, with both martyrs and wounded reported from recent airstrikes on multiple towns in northern Biqaa'.

Additionally, the correspondent reported that occupation aircraft conducted airstrikes on the town of 'Hadath Ba'albek, the Tel Al-Abyadh neighborhood north of Baalbek, and near Qsarnaba in central Biqaa'.

Targeting civil service and rescue crews

In the south, the Emergency Operations Center of the Public Health Ministry reported an initial toll of 5 martyrs from the Israeli occupation’s airstrike on the town of Hanaway in the Tyre district.

The center also announced that the occupation’s airstrikes targeted gathering positions rescue workers gather at in the towns of Dair Qanoun Ras Al-'Ayn and Ain Ba'al, resulting in 6 martyrs and 2 wounded in the first town, and 3 wounded in the second.

Al-Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that the number of martyrs from yesterday’s Israeli occupation airstrikes on Soor (Tyre) has risen to 17.

Additionally, the National News Agency reported that the occupation targeted a house in the town of Al-Bazouriya and launched airstrikes on the towns of Sureefa, 'Haneen, Kafra, Srebbine, and Rusheif, while also shelling the town of Kawneen with artillery.

On November 10, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on the Gaza Strip resulted in 3 main massacres, in which 51 Palestinian civilians were killed, and the 164 others were injured, in the past 24 hours (from a specific time of yesterday to a specific time of today). This increased the accounted for death toll in Gaza Strip to 43,603 and the injuries to 102,929, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023.

Death toll across Gaza Strip surges to 43,665, over 103,076 injured

GAZA, November, 12, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Israeli occupation forces committed five massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the last 48 hours (November 11-12, 2024), resulting in the killing of at least 62  Palestinians and the injury of 147 others, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

They confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023 has risen to 43,665 reported fatalities, with an additional 103,076 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

According to the same sources, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 402

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 402nd consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Monday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli occupation army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 38, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

According to local sources, three citizens were injured after an Israeli quadcopter randomly opened fire in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Two other citizens were martyred in an Israeli artillery attack on an apartment belonging to Quwaidir family in the west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp.

In northern Gaza, an Israeli quadcopter bombed a gathering of citizens in Al-Mashrou' market, killing one of them.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army embarked today on demolishing more civilian homes and buildings in Jabalya refugee camp, north of Gaza.

More casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

10 civilians killed, others wounded in Israeli airstrike targeting tent for displaced people in southern Gaza

GAZA, November 11, 2024 (WAFA) -

At least ten civilians were killed and others were wounded on Monday night in an Israeli airstrike on a tent housing displaced people west of Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that the occupation warplanes targeted a tent where displaced people had gathered to access the internet west of Khan Younus city in the southern Strip. The strike led to the killing of ten civilians and the injury of several others.

Several civilians killed and others injured in Israeli airstrike on Gaza City

GAZA, November, 11, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Several civilians were killed and others were injured on Monday evening in an Israeli occupation bombing of Gaza City.

Medical sources reported that paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society transferred the bodies of several slain Palestinians after the occupation warplanes bombed a commercial store on 'Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in Gaza City.

He added that the ambulance crews of Al-'Awda Hospital in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip were able to retrieve the bodies of two slain Palestinians  from the Al-Nuwairi Hill area west of the refugee camp.

Elderly Palestinian woman killed, others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting in northern Gaza Strip

GAZA, November, 11, 2024 (WAFA) – 

An elderly woman Maha Isma'eel Abu Al-Nour was killed, and five others were injured in an Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the Jabalya Al-Nazla area in the northern Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, medical sources reported the killing of citizen Mu'hammed Zahir Muqdad after being shot directly in the chest by a drone near Al-'Awda Hospital.

In the Al-Nusayrat refugee camp area, the house of citizen Shihab Abu Dalal was subjected to artillery shelling, which led to the killing of three people and the injury of others.

By November 10, 2024, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the number of slain Palestinians has risen to about 43,603 civilians, while the number of injured has reached more than 102,929, the majority of whom are women and children.

Reports indicate that thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble and in places that are difficult to reach due to the ongoing shelling.

Palestinians injured, others kidnaped by IOFs in the West Bank

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Five Palestinian citizens were injured and two others were kidnaped after the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed Al-Jalazoan refugee camp in northern Ramallah on Monday morning.

According to local sources, the IOFs stormed Al-Jalazoan refugee camp and embarked on firing tear gas canisters and live and rubber bullets at local residents and homes, injuring four of them, including a child.

Israeli occupation soldiers also beat a citizen, but there was no information about his health condition.

The IOFs kidnapped two young men from their homes during the same raid in the camp.

In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), the IOFs raided a house in Bait Ummar town, confiscated agricultural materials from it and kidnaped the owner.

The IOFs also broke into and ransacked the house of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) City mayor Tayseer Abu Sunayna in the southern area of the city and interrogated a number of his relatives.

In Nablus, Israeli forces kidnapped at dawn one citizen from the city and two brothers from 'Askar Al-Balad village.

The IOFs also kidnapped a number of young citizens during a raid in Budrus village, west of Ramallah.

Local sources said that the IOFs interrogated the detained young men in one of the homes in Budrus before kidnaping them.

Recently, the Palestinian Authority security informed Israeli forces that it had found and defused a rocket ready for launch in Budrus village.

The IOFs also stormed last night and on Monday morning other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.

In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers tried at dawn to assault Muslim worshipers who gathered for prayers at the Nour Mosque in Burqa village, east of Ramallah, and damaged a parked car outside the mosque.

Israeli occupation Forces (IOFs) demolished on Monday a number of Palestinian facilities in the Bedouin community of Al-'Ara’ra near the town of Jaba', northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers demolished a mosque, a house sheltering a number of women and children, five sheep shacks and a car repair shop.

Citizen Naji'h Al-'Ara’ra explained that the IOF demolished five sheep pens and a house that had been abandoned since the 1960s.

He added that the Bedouin community is home to more than 80 families from the Al-Jahalin tribe, noting that Israeli occupation authorities had previously marked several facilities in red in preparation for their demolition.

The escalating demolitions in the town of Jaba' coincide with a large settlement expansion of the illegal Israeli Adam settlement at the expense of the town’s lands.

IOFs assault West Bank olive farmers, expel them from their lands

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) assaulted on Monday evening a number of Palestinian citizens as they were collecting olives in the villages of Tal and Madama, north of Nablus in the West Bank.

According to local sources, Israeli soldiers stormed Tal and Madama villages, beat four farmers and forced them to leave their olive groves.

As the Palestinian olive season started last October, Israeli forces and settlers escalated their attacks and violations against West Bank farmers and their lands.

In a related context, senior 'Hamas official Abdul-Ra'hman Shadeed has called on those having a weapon in the West Bank to support the Palestinian resistance and protect their people against settler attacks.

“The crimes and violations committed by settlers in the West Bank against mosques, homes and olive farmers are a practical translation of the plans made by the occupation government and its ministers such as Ben Gvir and Smotrich,” Shadeed said in a statement on Monday.

He said that the settler attacks against mosques, homes and property belonging to Palestinian citizens in the West Bank entail popular and official action to curb such crimes and foil Israeli intents to displace the local residents, especially from villages and towns near illegal settlements.

“Resisting the occupation is a legitimate right that the Palestinian people must exercise to protect their cause, holy sites, capabilities and land,” he underlined.

Gaza Municipality: 60% of the displaced do not have access to water

The spokesman for the Gaza Municipality, 'Aasim Al-Nabeeh, said that water reaches only 40% of the total area of the city, stressing that “the displaced are suffering to access water.”

With the continued Israeli siege on the northern Gaza Strip, the drinking water crisis has become more serious, as many families in Gaza City struggle every day to obtain a bucket of water, while accessing safe and clean drinking water has become the greatest hope that is difficult to achieve.

Al-Nabih explained in press statements on Monday that the quantities of water that reach citizens are very limited and do not meet all daily needs.

He pointed out that more than 75% of water wells in Gaza City have been completely or partially damaged, in addition to the damage of more than 100 linear meters of water networks, making the process of delivering water to all areas impossible.

Al-Nabih warned that the lack of sufficient water quantities leads to the spread of epidemics and diseases, especially skin diseases.

In a previous report, the Gaza Municipality said that the Israeli occupation army destroyed about 126 water and sewage service vehicles, equivalent to 80% of the municipality’s vehicles, especially those related to waste collection, sewage treatment and water services.

The Municipality appealed to international organizations and UN institutions to urgently contribute to solving the water crisis in the city, by increasing the quantities of fuel to increase wells’ operation hours in addition to bringing in the necessary heavy machinery and equipment to maintain water lines and networks.

Prisoner Salamah in a message from his isolation: We face death every day

Palestinian resistance prisoner, 'Hasan Salamah, affiliated with the Hamas Movement, described his condition and that of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation apartheid regime jails as “akin to death.”

In a message to his fiancée, Ghufran Zamil, which she shared on social media, Salamah said that he was subjected to severe physical assault on October 7, saying, “I thought it would be the end of my life.”

Zamil wrote on her Facebook page: “In his message from isolation, he tells me: My situation is like that of every prisoner, very difficult; I live alone and have nothing at all. I am constantly subjected to humiliation, degradation, and beatings, the last of which was on 7/10. I thought it would be the end of my life, but Allah saved me.”

Salamah added: “Our lives are like death in every sense of the word; there is no law, and no one can do anything for us. I await relief or death, whichever comes first.”

He concluded by saying: “This is the diagnosis of my situation and that of all prisoners; we need your prayers and the prayers of everyone.”

'Hasan Salamah is serving a life sentence of 48 times, having been arrested on May 17, 1996, making him the third highest sentenced prisoner. The Israeli occupation apartheid regime refused to release him in the 2011 prisoner exchange deal “Wafa al-A'hrar.”

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime attributes to Salamah responsibility for a series of martyrdom operations carried out by the 'Hamas armed wing the Al-Qassam Brigades in retaliation for the assassination of engineer Yahya Ayyash in 1996. These operations resulted in the deaths of 46 Israelis and injuries to dozens more.

'Hasan Salamah married the released prisoner Ghufran Zamel in 2010, and the occupation continues to prevent her from visiting him since their marriage; she has only been able to visit him twice during his imprisonment.

UN: Israeli unexploded ordnance in Gaza will be a long-term threat

The UN has warned that Israeli unexploded munitions will be a long-term threat in the Gaza Strip, calling for an urgent international response to address this issue once the current war ends.

Takuto Kubo, chief of the UN program management and support section, said that teams from the UN mine action service, which works with other organizations such as UNICEF and local partners, conducted 379 explosive hazard assessments and escorted 271 humanitarian convoys to Gaza.

Kubo said that these teams spotted in Gaza many remnants of unexploded projectiles that are likely to obstruct future activities, including reconstruction and recovery efforts.

The UN official affirmed that the UN’s risk assessment and awareness efforts do not address the most pressing problem of ordnance disposal, which cannot currently be dealt with due to the security situation in Gaza.

He outlined other challenges facing the UN in this regard, including staff displacement, lack of equipment, and electrical and communications blackouts.
