In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules. 2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet. 3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel. 4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed. 5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists. The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies. In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain. 6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, and the efforts made to stop the ongoing genocidal war in the Strip. The Malaysian Prime Minister affirmed his country’s strong support for the Palestinian people and their just cause. “Malaysia’s relationship with the 'Hamas Movement has been stable for decades, and Malaysia considers it a national liberation movement,” he said during the meeting. Haniyya, for his part, hailed the efforts made by Malaysia to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, praising its diplomatic positions. He also reportedly briefed the Malaysian delegation on the latest developments, including the Israeli genocidal escalation, the starvation war, and the torture of Palestinian detainees in the Israeli occupation apartheid regime jails. The meeting was also attended by 'Hamas leaders Khalid Mish'al, Khaleel Al-Hayya, Zahir Jabbareen, and Ibraheem Sala'h. *** Al-Rishiq: Netanyahu’s remarks, demanding 'Hamas to surrender and lay down its weapons in order to stop the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, are ridiculous & reflect his predicament Tuesday 14-May-2024 DOHA, (PIC) Member of the 'Hamas Political Bureau, 'Izzat Al-Rishiq, said on Monday that Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks demanding 'Hamas to surrender and lay down its weapons in order to stop the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza is nothing but ridiculous statements that reflect his predicament. Al-Rishiq pointed out that Netanyahu did not achieve any of his war goals, except for committing more horrific massacres against defenseless civilians. The Hamas leader underlined that Netanyahu is selling an illusion by talking about considering expelling Hamas leaders from the Gaza Strip after the end of the war, on the condition of the Movement’s “surrender”. He explained that “such statements confirm once again that he is still living his illusions and dreams of achieving an alleged victory that will never come true.” By May 13, 2024, the Israeli occupation army has continued its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, with US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of 35,091 people and the injury of 78,827 others, in addition to the displacement of about 1.7 million people from the Strip’s population, according to United Nations data. *** Na'eem: Our people will not condone any non-Palestinian presence in Gaza Tuesday 14-May-2024 DOHA, (PIC) Member of the 'Hamas Political Bureau Basim Na'eem has affirmed that the Palestinian people will not tolerate any non-Palestinian military or security presence in the Gaza Strip. Na'eem made his remarks in a recent interview conducted by Al Jazeera Net on the sidelines of the three-day Global Anti-Apartheid Conference on Palestine, which kicked off last Friday in Johannesburg. Na'eem highlighted the importance of the anti-apartheid conference to the Palestinian cause, especially after the October 7 events, and applauded South Africa’s long experience in fighting apartheid. The 'Hamas official said that the conference’s sessions and workshops aim to form an organized and structured international anti-apartheid institution as a prelude to inaugurating it within months or one year. He categorically denied media claims about the transfer of 'Hamas’s offices from Qatar, expressing his appreciation of the ongoing support provided by the Qatari leadership for the Palestinian people. *** Lazzarini: No one is safe in Gaza including aid workers Tuesday 14-May-2024 GAZA, (PIC) “No one is safe in Gaza including aid workers,” UNRWA commissioner Philippe Lazzarini said on his X page on Monday. “Another aid worker in Gaza was killed today. This time, a colleague from the UN safety and security department,” Lazzarini affirmed. “Far too many colleagues working for the UN have been killed in Gaza. At UNRWA alone, 188 team members have been killed since this war began. Our teams in Gaza are grieving the loss of their friends and colleagues,” the UN chief added. “Aid workers and UN staff are not and should never be a target,” he stressed. For his part, the director-general of the World Health Organization, Tedros Ghebreyesus, also responded to the news of the UN staffer who was killed on Monday. “We are devastated to learn about the death of a UN humanitarian worker and injury of another in Gaza today.” “Too many civilian and humanitarian lives have paid the price for this war,” Ghebreyesus added. A UN staff member was killed and another one was injured in an Israeli attack in eastern Rafa'h on Monday after the marked vehicle they were traveling in came under fire. *** UNRWA says 450,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from Rafa'h since 6 May RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 (WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said on Tuesday that 450,000 Palestinian civilians have been forcibly displaced from the city of Rafa'h since 6 May due to the ongoing Israeli military operation. "Empty streets in #Rafa'h as families continue to flee in search of safety," said the Agency in a post on X. "UNRWA estimates that nearly 450,000 people have been forcibly displaced from Rafa'h since 6 May," it added. "People face constant exhaustion, hunger and fear. Nowhere is safe. An immediate ceasefire is the only hope." K.T. *** Gaza civil defense calls for providing it with heavy equipment, fuel to save lives Tuesday 14-May-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The Palestinian civil defense service has called on the Red Cross to pressure the Israeli occupation government to allow its rescue crews to carry out humanitarian interventions in areas of incursions to save wounded citizens buried under the rubble of bombed homes. In a news conference held on Tuesday, the general directorate of the civil defense service appealed to the UN, the World Health Organization, the International Civil Defense Organization, and all concerned humanitarian institutions to urgently intervene to pressure the Israeli government to allow the entry of heavy equipment into Gaza in order to enable its crews to carry out rescue operations and recover the bodies of victims from the rubble of bombed homes. The civil defense also denounced the UN and international organizations for their failure to pressure the Israeli government to allow fuel shipments into Gaza, warning that its relief, emergency and rescue efforts would stop if it was not provided with its fuel needs. ***' The Israeli occupation apartheid regime continues to shut down Gaza's main crossings, causing human catastrophe GAZA, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces continue to shut down the Rafa'h land crossings across the border with Egypt, and Karm Abu Salim, the only commercial crossing in the Gaza Strip. For the eighth day in a row, the occupation forces continue to close the Rafa'h crossing, which led to a complete halt to the movement of passengers, especially the sick and wounded, and the entry of humanitarian aid, or the transfer of accumulated aid to the people of the Gaza Strip in the southern and northern areas. The Rafa'h land crossing is considered a lifeline for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the only land crossing for the entry of aid and the evacuation of the injured individuals. According to local sources, this incursion and its tight control means deprivation of food and medical aid. The occupation forces also continue to close the Karm Abu Salim crossing for the twelfth day in a row, with a complete halt to the entry of aid. A few days ago, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the occupation authorities to reopen the Rafa'h and Karm Abu Salim crossings “immediately” to allow the entry of humanitarian aid the Gaza Strip, and called on them to stop this escalation. "Closing the two crossings at the same time is particularly harmful to the already desperate humanitarian situation, and they must be reopened immediately," Guterres said. Y.S. *** Euro-Med: Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces stormed UNRWA schools, killed and detained dozens in Jabalya Tuesday 14-May-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said that the Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces stormed UNRWA schools used as shelter centers in Jabalya, north of Gaza, and embarked on killing and detaining dozens of civilians, while thousands were forced to flee under non-stop aerial and artillery bombardment. In a report on Monday, Euro-Med said that its field team had been following the Israeli army’s expansion of its attack on Jabalya and its refugee camp since last Saturday, May 11, a few hours after the army issued evacuation orders and launched intense bombardment. According to Euro-Med, its field team documented Israeli airstrikes on a residential block in Jabalya refugee camp containing several homes belonging to the families of Nayrab, Abu Li'hiya, Khaliee and Atallah, amid reports of victims under the rubble of buildings. Israeli forces with tanks and quadcopters besieged, amid intense artillery shelling and gunfire, six UNRWA schools sheltering thousands of displaced civilians in Al-Madaris street in Jabalya camp. However, before those forces arrived at the schools, thousands of civilians had to escape from this street, under non-stop bombardment and shooting, without taking most of their belongings. Euro-Med also said that it received preliminary information about the killing of at least 32 civilians in Israeli attacks in Jabalya and its camp, in addition to the presence of several victims inside the UNRWA schools, which Israeli forces attacked before storming them. Euro-Med explained that Israeli forces detained dozens of civilians during its raids on the schools and then embarked on forcing them to strip and torturing them, adding that at least one civilian identified as 'Eisa 'Hammouda was tortured to death after his detention. The Euro-Med field team accused the Israeli forces in Jabalya of targeting ambulance and rescue crews and preventing them from evacuating casualties from shelter schools and the areas around them as well as from bombed homes. The field team also reported the exposure of all the neighborhoods and streets of Jabalya and its camp to intensive aerial and artillery attacks aimed at creating a coercive environment for the Palestinian citizens to force them to leave the shelters and homes they live in. Euro-Med highlighted that the escalating attack on northern Gaza is part of a wider military escalation across the coastal enclave, particularly in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the southeast of Gaza City and in Rafa'h, in the southern Gaza Strip, where a week-long ground invasion has resulted in forced relocation orders, in the midst of persistent bombing along the Egyptian border and in the Rafa'h western areas. As the border crossings remain closed with the Israeli army not allowing in aid and fuel shipments, the entire health and humanitarian system in Gaza have almost collapsed, while hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate from Rafa'h to Khan Younus — where there is already an acute scarcity of water and food supplies. “The international community must intervene swiftly and decisively to stop all Israeli military attacks on various parts of the Gaza Strip that target civilians and civilian objects directly, systematically, on a large scale, and in a recurring pattern, and to stop Israel’s crime of genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip,” Euro-Med underlined. *** Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces carried 8 attacks on aid workers, convoys, and premises in Gaza, according to Human Rights Watch RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces have carried out at least eight strikes on aid workers’ convoys and premises in Gaza since October 2023, even though aid groups had provided their coordinates to the Israeli authorities to ensure their protection, Human Rights Watch said today. Israeli authorities did not issue advance warnings to any of the aid organizations before the strikes, which killed or injured at least 31 aid workers and those with them. More than 250 aid workers have been killed in Gaza since the October 7 assault in Israel, according to the UN. One attack on January 18, 2024, injured three people who were staying in a joint guest house belonging to two aid organizations and was most likely carried out with a US-made munitions, according to one of the organizations and to a report by UN investigators who visited the site after the attack, which Human Rights Watch reviewed. One of the aid organizations, Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), said UN inspectors concluded that the bomb was delivered by an F-16 aircraft. F-16 aircraft use British made components according to campaigners. The eight incidents reveal fundamental flaws with the so-called deconfliction system, meant to protect aid workers and allow them to safely deliver life-saving humanitarian assistance in Gaza. “Israel’s killing of seven World Central Kitchen aid workers was shocking and should never have happened under international law,” said Belkis Wille, associate crisis, conflict, and arms director at Human Rights Watch. “Israel’s allies need to recognize that these attacks that have killed aid workers have happened over and over again, and they need to stop.” Israel’s attack on April 1 on the World Central Kitchen convoy, which killed seven workers, far from being an isolated “mistake,” is just one of at least eight incidents that Human Rights Watch identified in which aid organizations and UN agencies had communicated with Israeli authorities the GPS coordinates of an aid convoy or premises and yet Israeli forces attacked the convoy or shelter without any warning. In these eight incidents, Israeli forces killed at least 15 people, including 2 children, and injured at least 16 others. Five of these attacks were the subject of a recent New York Times investigation that included visual evidence and internal communications between aid organizations and the Israeli military. The other seven attacks are: Attack on a Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF or Doctors without Borders) convoy, November 18, 2023 Attack on a guest house of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), December 9, 2023 Attack on an MSF shelter, January 8, 2024 Attack on an International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) guest house, January 18, 2024 Attack on an UNRWA convoy, February 5, 2024 Attack on an MSF guest house, February 20, 2024 Attack on a home sheltering an American Near East Refugee Aid Organization (Anera) employee, March 8, 2024 As of April 30, the UN reported that 254 aid workers had been killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023, with UNRWA personnel accounting for 188 of these fatalities. On May 13, a UN vehicle was hit on the way to a hospital in Gaza, killing at least one UN staff member and injuring at least one more. According to UNRWA, 169 of its facilities have been affected by the hostilities in 368 incidents and at least 429 displaced people have been killed in UNRWA shelters. Israeli forces have, according to the UN, also shot at and shelled people congregating to collect aid, killing and injuring hundreds. These attacks are having a chilling effect on efforts to provide lifesaving aid in Gaza. Aid workers have also been unable to leave Gaza, since Israeli forces seized control of and closed the Rafah Crossing on May 7. During a recent trip to Cairo and northern Sinai, near the border between Egypt and Gaza, Human Rights Watch met with staff from 11 humanitarian organizations and UN aid agencies operating in Gaza who said that Israeli attacks on aid workers had forced them to take various measures that for some included suspending activities for a period of time, reducing their staff inside Gaza, or severely restricting their aid activities in other ways. “I can’t risk sending more staff into Gaza because I cannot rely on deconfliction as a way of keeping them safe,” a senior employee from one of the organizations whose guest house was attacked told Human Rights Watch. He said this was a key factor in limiting the organization’s ability to provide medical services. “You can build docks and send shipments, but without a safe operating environment, you will have a pile up of shipments that people aren’t able to deploy safely to help people.” This pattern of attacks despite proper notification of Israeli authorities raises serious questions about Israel’s commitment and capacity to comply with international humanitarian law, which some countries, including the UK, rely on to continue to license arms exports that end up in Israel. Human Rights Watch has found that Israeli authorities are using starvation as a method of warfare in Gaza. Pursuant to a policy set out by Israeli officials and carried out by Israeli forces, the Israeli authorities are deliberately blocking the delivery of water, food, and fuel, willfully impeding humanitarian assistance, apparently razing agricultural areas, and depriving the civilian population of objects indispensable to its survival. Children in Gaza have been dying from starvation-related complications. Israel has not responded to a Human Rights Watch letter sent on May 1, requesting specific information about the attacks on aid workers documented in this report. The laws of war prohibit attacks that target civilians and civilian objects, that do not discriminate between civilians and combatants, or that are expected to cause harm to civilians or civilian objects that is disproportionate to any anticipated military advantage. Indiscriminate attacks include attacks that are not directed at a specific military target or use a method or means of combat whose effects cannot be limited as required. Warring parties must take all feasible precautions to minimize harm to civilians, including by providing effective advance warnings of attacks unless circumstances do not permit, and by sparing civilians under their control from the effects of attacks. Serious violations of the laws of war committed by individuals with criminal intent – that is, deliberately or recklessly – are war crimes. Israel should make public the findings of investigations into attacks that have killed and injured aid workers, and into all other attacks that caused civilian casualties. The Israeli military’s long track record of failing to credibly investigate alleged war crimes underscores the importance of the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) inquiry into serious crimes committed by all parties to the conflict. Israeli and Palestinian officials should cooperate with the ICC in their work, Human Rights Watch said. Israel should also provide the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel access to Gaza to conduct its investigations. Given the pattern of attacks on aid groups that have provided Israeli authorities with proper information about their locations, a group of recognized international experts should conduct an independent review of the humanitarian deconfliction process. Israel should give these experts full access to its processes, including the coordination and communications that occur before, during, and after such attacks as well as information regarding any alleged military target in the vicinity and any precautionary measures taken to mitigate harm. Israel’s allies, including the United States and United Kingdom – both states sending the weapons parts apparently used in at least one of the documented attacks – should suspend military assistance and arms sales to Israel so long as its forces commit systematic and widespread laws-of-war violations against Palestinian civilians with impunity. Governments that continue to provide arms to the Israeli government risk complicity in war crimes. They should also use their leverage, including through targeted sanctions, to press Israeli authorities to cease committing grave abuses and enable the provision of humanitarian aid and basic services in Gaza, in accordance with Israel’s obligations under international law and recent International Court of Justice (ICJ) orders to Israel in the case brought by South Africa concerning alleged violations of the Genocide Convention. “On one hand, Israel is blocking access to critical lifesaving humanitarian provisions and on the other, attacking convoys that are delivering some of the small amount that they are allowing in,” Wille said. “Israeli forces should immediately end their attacks on aid organizations, and there should be accountability for these crimes.” K.T *** *** Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime ForcesOn May14, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on Gaza Strip resulted in 8 massacres, which resulted in the killing of 82 Palestinian civilians, and the injury of 82 others, in the past 24 hours. This increased the accounted for death toll in Gaza Strip to 35,091 and the injuries to 78,827, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023. *** Ministry of Health: Israel committed 8 massacres in Gaza over the past 24 hours Tuesday 14-May-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The health ministry in Gaza said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army committed eight massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours. The ministry said in its daily report that the occupation army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, but only 82 martyrs and 234 injured were transported to hospitals. A big number of casualties are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads and ambulances could not reach them due to the intensity of the Israeli shelling, the ministry elaborated. It pointed out that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardment, which started on October 7 last year, climbed to 35,173 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 79,061 people. *** Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 221 Tuesday 14-May-2024 GAZA, (PIC) As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 221 on Tuesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians, especially in Rafa'h. Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid escalating incursions and attacks in Rafa'h, Jabalya and Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City. According to media sources, one civilian was martyred and three others were injured in an Israeli attack in Yabna refugee camp, south of Rafa'h. The Israeli army also bombed a house and a school in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing at least 20 citizens and injuring many others. Another citizen was killed in an artillery attack on an area near Wadi Gaza in the north of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp. Israeli drones also opened fire at citizens in Salahuddeen road in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, killing two of them. Eyewitnesses reported seeing bodies of several citizens on roads in the west of Jabalya refugee camp in northern Gaza, adding that no one could reach them because of the intensity of Israeli gunfire. Meanwhile, a girl child was killed and others were injured when the Israeli army bombed a house belonging to the family of Abdul-Ra'hman near Al-Falouja School in Jabalya refugee camp. The Israeli army also bombed a three-story building and reduced it to rubble, killing at least 14 civilians and injuring dozens, mostly children and women, in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp. Other casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting genocidal attacks last night and today. *** IOFs kill UN employee, injures another Monday 13-May-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired on a clearly marked UN vehicle in Rafa'h in southern Gaza, killing one member of the UN’s Department of Safety and Security and injuring another. The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza has condemned the Israeli army for killing a foreign UN employee and injuring another staffer in Rafa'h while they were riding in a UN vehicle. “They were targeted while they were riding in a UN vehicle bearing the UN flag,” a statement from the Office said. The statement demanded “an end to the war of genocide” and blamed the US administration for Israel’s “war crimes.” Screen grabs from a video circulated on social media showed heavy damage to a clearly marked UN vehicle after it came under fire by Israeli forces. The UN confirmed a short while ago that this attack killed the organization’s first foreign staff member in Israel’s war on Gaza. *** Several civilians killed, injured in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza GAZA, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinian civilians today were killed and others were injured in an Israeli artillery bombing targeting several areas in the Gaza Strip.
