In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules. 2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet. 3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel. 4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed. 5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists. The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies. In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain. 6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people. Click here for more about using the apostrophe and the underlining of letters in the transliteration of Arabic names. *** *** Haniyya: Israel will not be able to impose its conditions on the Palestinian people Wednesday 27-March-2024, TEHRAN, (PIC) The head of 'Hamas political bureau, Isma'eel Haniyya, confirmed that Israel will not be able to impose its conditions on the Palestinian people, neither through war nor through politics. Haniyya said during a meeting held with Iranian President Ibraheem Ra-isi in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Wednesday, that the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood inflicted a defeat on Israel, which has not yet been able to achieve any of its goals in the war. Haniyya added, “Whatever the decision of the International Court of Justice was, the Israeli entity has been put on trial and its crimes were exposed,” adding that the recent aggressions in Gaza constituted a scandal to the US and the Western countries that support Israel. The 'Hamas leader stressed the need for the Islamic world to stand by the side of the steadfast people in the Gaza Strip. For his part, the Iranian President Ibraheem Ra-isi said, “The world has become aware that Israel has become a source of insecurity and destabilization in the region,” expressing his dismay at the lack of action by the leaders of some Islamic countries regarding the Israeli crimes. Since October 7, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 120,000 martyrs, wounded and missing persons, 72% of whom were children and women, in addition to the displacement of two million people and the massive destruction of homes and infrastructure, affecting more than 70% of buildings, with a tight siege, a stifling humanitarian crisis, and an unprecedented famine, especially in Gaza City and its north. *** UN spokesman calls for sending aid to Gaza overland Thursday 28-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC) The UN has stressed the importance of delivering enough aid to the Gaza Strip overland to save human lives, warning that obstacles to aid entry persists and time is running out. UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric told a news conference in New York on Thursday that over 1.1 million people in Gaza are facing famine, calling for necessarily sending humanitarian aid shipments to Gaza without interruption in order to save the lives of children. Dujarric pointed out that Andrea Di Domenico, head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), recently visited one of the four hospitals that partially provide medical services in northern Gaza. The spokesman quoted Di Domenico as saying that this hospital receives about 15 children suffering from malnutrition every day. He said that the Israeli army continues to prevent aid trucks from reaching northern Gaza, although the World Food Program announced that about 70 percent of the remaining residents there are already facing catastrophic levels of hunger. *** Shocking scenes document Israeli soldiers executing Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza Thursday 28-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC) Exclusive footage obtained by Al Jazeera TV Channel shows the Israeli soldiers’ execution of Palestinian civilians as they attempted to return to their homes in northern Gaza via Rashid Street. The exclusive footage shows the burial of the Palestinian martyrs’ bodies in the sand and among the garbage, while another group of Palestinians whose fate is unknown is seen in the process. The occupation soldiers used a bulldozer to bury their victims under the sand. Al Jazeera has previously broadcast exclusive images of executions carried out by Israeli occupation forces against civilians in various locations in the Gaza Strip. These operations included the killing of an elderly man inside a house in one of the neighborhoods of Gaza City and the launching of missiles by a drone at young men in the southern areas of the Strip. Previous footage captured by an Israeli drone showed the sniper targeting a boy in the northern area of the Strip. This year, Ramadan coincides with the continued aggression of the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip, with American and European support, since October 7th of last year. Israeli aircraft continue to bombard the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers, and the homes of Palestinian civilians, destroying them over the heads of their inhabitants. The entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel is prohibited. By March 27, 2024,the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in the death of 32,490 martyrs and the injury of 74,889 people, in addition to the displacement of about 85% of the population of the Strip, according to the authorities of the Strip, international bodies, and organizations. *** After 47 days of detention, the Israel occupation forces release only 7 Palestinian Red Crescent workers, out of 15 Thursday 28-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC) Following 47 days of detention, the Israeli occupation army released seven Palestinian citizens working for the Red Crescent in the Gaza Strip, while the fate of eight others is still unknown. In an X post on Thursday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that the Israeli occupation forces released seven people of its medical and ambulance crew who had been kidnapped from Al-Amal Hospital on February 9, 2024. Those detainees, including director of its ambulance and emergency services and its spokesman in Gaza Mu'hammed Abu Musabi'h, had spent 47 days in an Israeli detention center. There are still eight other Red Crescent workers in Israeli detention and their fate is not known. The Red Crescent recently appealed to the international community to protect its cadres and its facilities against systematic attacks by the Israeli army. *** Amnesty International calls for implementation of UNSC resolution: Time to stop genocide in Gaza Thursday 28-March-2024, NEW YORK, (PIC) Amnesty International welcomed a UN report on Wednesday that concluded Israel committed “genocide” in Gaza, stating that “it is time to prevent genocide and implement the UN Security Council resolution for an immediate ceasefire.” On Tuesday evening, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, Francesca Albanese, said in a report presented to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, that there were “reasonable grounds to believe that Israel committed the crime of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.” In response, the Secretary-General of Amnesty International, Agnes Callamard, said in a statement that the UN report is “very important and should serve as a necessary call to action for countries.” She emphasized that countries around the world “must fulfill their obligations under the Convention on the Prevention of Genocide and take concrete measures to protect Palestinians in Gaza.” Callamard said, “It is time to act to prevent genocide, and other countries must exert political pressure on the warring parties to implement the UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.” She called on the world to “use its influence to insist on Israel’s commitment to the resolution, including stopping the bombing and lifting restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid.” She continued, “Countries must impose a comprehensive weapons embargo on all parties to the conflict and exert pressure on Hamas and other armed groups to release all civilian hostages.” She said that “a permanent ceasefire remains the best way to enforce the temporary measures ordered by the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide, further crimes, and civilian suffering.” Callamard stressed that countries must focus their efforts on translating calls for a ceasefire in Gaza into “concrete reality.” In the UN report, Albanese explained that “Israel committed three acts of genocide: causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of a group of people, intentionally imposing living conditions on the group with the aim of wholly or partially destroying them physically, and imposing measures to prevent reproduction within the group,” according to the United Nations News website. She said that “calls for violent genocide issued by senior Israeli officials with authority and directed at soldiers stationed on the ground are clear evidence of explicit and public encouragement to commit genocide.” The Israeli war on Gaza since October 7th last year has resulted in tens of thousands of civilian casualties, most of them children and women, and massive destruction, humanitarian disaster, and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly. *** PGMO: The nightmare of famine in northern Gaza will continue unless aid is delivered sustainably Thursday 28-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC) Director General of the Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO), Isma'eel Al-Thawabta, said on Wednesday “the nightmare of famine in the northern Gaza Strip will continue unless aid is delivered in a sustainable manner.” “Our people need aid to be brought into Gaza by land, air, and sea. The aid being brought in does not exceed 5% of the needs,” Al-Thawabta added in a press statement. “We are in real pain seeing our people fell down as martyrs because of wrong airdropping of aid. We call on the countries of the world to bring in aid into the Gaza Strip in a safe way by air, land and sea,” he said. Al-Thawabta warned that the Israeli occupation army intends, by bombing police cars and assassinating police officers, to spread chaos in the Strip. Despite the continuous bombing of police cars, stations and officials, the Palestinian Interior Ministry is fighting to strengthen the home front and is performing its duties honorably despite the difficult circumstances, he added. He concluded saying, “We express our strong denunciation and condemnation of the crime of closing the crossings with Gaza. We call for overcoming the Israeli measures aimed at imposing its will on the Palestinian-Egyptian crossing.” *** "Sleeping at night in Gaza is like lying in a coffin," UNICEF spokesperson GAZA, Thursday, March 28, 2024 (WAFA) – UNICEF spokesperson James Elder described the situation in Gaza by saying that sleeping at night feels like "lying in a coffin" While addressing the UN from Rafa'h on Tuesday, Elder added that adolescents and teenage girls say they "hope to be killed" to "end their nightmare". The Palestinian death toll from Israel's deadly offensive against the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023, has now soared to 32,552, medical sources confirmed on Thursday. Sources added that at least 74,980 others have also been injured in the onslaught. At least 62 people were killed and 91 others were injured in Israeli attacks that took place in the last 24 hours, they added. The sources said that many victims are still trapped under rubble and on the roads as rescuers are still unable to reach them. K.T. *** Palestinian child dies of malnutrition and dehydration in Gaza GAZA, Thursday, March 28, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian child has Thursday died due to famine and the lack of treatment, bringing the number of victims of malnutrition in the Gaza Strip to 30, medical sources confirmed. The same sources said that a child died as a result of malnutrition, dehydration, and lack of medical supplies, at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip. The Gaza Strip, especially the northern region, is grappling with severe shortages in food, water, medication, and fuel. Even the aid reaching the southern region of the enclave has been insufficient, particularly with the displacement of over 1.3 million people from northern Gaza to the south, notably to Rafah. The Israeli occupation forces not only prevent the entry of humanitarian aid into northern Gaza but also intentionally target citizens as they await the arrival of desperately needed aid supplies. This has resulted in the tragic murder of hundreds of civilians and injuries to many more. The World Health Organization has warned that malnutrition is particularly exacerbated in the northern region, where infrastructure destruction and shortages in water, food, and medication have prevailed since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli aggression. K.T. *** Over 1.1M people in Gaza face an extreme level of food insecurity: OCHA RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 28, 2024 (WAFA) – Over 1.1M people in Gaza face an extreme level of food insecurity, the UN Humanitarian Affairs Office, OCHA noted on Thursday. OCHA took to their official page on X to say that "access impediments persist & time is running out." "There is no alternative to the large-scale delivery of aid by land to have enough aid to save lives, esp. in the north," it said. "Nevertheless, access impediments persist & time is running out," it noted. By March 27, 2024, the Palestinian death toll from Israel's deadly offensive against the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023, has now soared to 32,490, medical sources confirmed. Sources added that at least 74,889 others have also been injured in the onslaught. At least 76 people were killed and 102 others were injured in Israeli attacks that took place in the last 24 hours, they added. K.T. *** *** Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime ForcesOn March 28, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on Gaza Strip resulted in 6 massacres, in which 62 Palestinian civilians were killed, and 91 were injured, in the past 24 hours. This increased the death toll in Gaza Strip to 32,552 and the injuries to 74,980, since October 7, 2023. *** Gaza: Death toll surges to 32,552 martyrs Thursday 28-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC) The health ministry in Gaza said on Thursday that the Israeli occupation army committed six massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 62 civilians and injuring over 91 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads. In a statement, the health ministry explained that the Israeli army killed and injured a larger number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but only 153 of them, including 62 martyrs, were transported to hospitals. The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 32,552 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 74,980 people. The Gaza Strip has been under relentless bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7. Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities. *** US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 174 Thursday 28-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC) As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 174 on Thursday, massive aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound neighborhoods, homes, shelter centers and aid convoys, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women. A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring scores of citizens, despite the UN resolution, adopted on Monday by the UN Security Council, calling for an immediate ceasefire for the holy month of Ramadan. According to media sources, a child called Ibrahim an-Najjar died of malnutrition and dehydration at the Kamal 'Idwan Hospital in northern Gaza. WAFA news agency said that the child’s death brought to 30 the number of the famine victims in Gaza. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said that there are about 30 martyrs in the industrial area (Karni) in the east of Gaza City, saying the ongoing Israeli bombardment prevented their evacuation from the area. A citizen was also killed by Israeli gunfire in 'Hamad City in the north of Khan Younus, south of Gaza, while three others were killed and 20 others were injured in an airstrike on a house in ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood in the east of Gaza City. Palestinian media sources affirmed that the Israeli occupation forces continue to execute, detain and abuse civilians at Al-Shifa Hospital and in the neighborhoods around it in northern Gaza. Al-Shifa Hospital and its nearby areas have been under Israeli siege and attack for 11 days. Over 200 civilians have been massacred and hundreds have been detained in the Israeli military campaign against the hospital. Other casualties were reported in different areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today. *** Dozens of civilians killed and injured in Israel's ongoing bombardment of Gaza Strip GAZA, Thursday, March 28, 2024 (WAFA) – Dozens of civilians today were killed and others wounded in a series of Israeli bombardments of several neighborhoods in Gaza City. Local sources reported that six civilians waiting for humanitarian aid were killed after being targeted by Israeli` bullets and artillery shells in the Gaza Industrial Zone, east of Gaza City. Simultaneously, Israeli occupation warplanes bombed the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and the nearby houses, resulting in the killing of several civilians and causing the injury of dozens of others. Ambulance and civil defense crews said that many people are still alive under the rubble of the bombed houses. The bodies of the dead are still scattering in the streets some of them decomposing, as Israel continues its military siege of al-Shifa Medical Complex and the Rimal neighborhood. The occupation artillery launched violent shelling targeting four houses in Al-Shati refugee camp and Al-Muznar residential building, killing many persons. The occupation tanks also targeted two houses in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, a third in the Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood and others in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza City. The occupation aircraft further bombed an electrical appliances center in Jabalya camp, causing it to catch fire. Medical sources said that 12 patients died due to malnutrition and the lack of treatment inside the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City during the ongoing Israeli military siege of the Complex for 11 days. Medical sources reported that four civilians were killed and others were wounded as a result of the Israeli occupation's shelling of different areas in the center and south of the Gaza Strip. Additionally, three civilians were killed and 20 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City. Israeli fighter jets bombed residential buildings in the Al-Rimal neighborhood in central Gaza City and a building on Hamid street in Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, causing many casualties. The occupation aircraft carried out intense airstrikes targeting the city of Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip, and other areas north of the Gaza Strip. In Bait Lahya, north of the Gaza Strip, dozens of civilians sustained various wounds in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the vicinity of Al-Qassam Mosque. Israeli occupation warplanes also targeted the city of al-Isra, northwest of Nusayrat in the central Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that the occupation released seven detainees from its crew after nearly 74 days of their detention, while the fate of eight others remains unknown. PRCS stated in a statement on the “X” platform that those released were detained during the Israeli military incursion of al-Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis on February 9th. Among the detainees was the director of ambulance and emergency services in the Gaza Strip, Mu'hammed Abu Musabi'h. At least 32,552 Palestinians, predominantly children and women, have been reported killed and over 74,980 others injured since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli war of genocide on Gaza on October 7th of last year. Y.S. *** *** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces
Palestinian teen succumbs to serious wounds in Jineen Wednesday 27-March-2024, Jineen, (PIC) A Palestinian teenager on Wednesday evening succumbed to serious wounds suffered earlier at dawn in an Israeli missile strike at Jineen refugee camp. A medical source in Ibn Seena Hospital in Jineen said that 19-year-old Waleed Lo-ay Al-Usta died of critical wounds suffered earlier today in the Israeli occupation forces' raid in the Jenin refugee camp, thus bringing the number of martyrs in this raid to four. The PIC reporter said that the martyr was the second from Nablus to be killed in the Israeli occupation forces' attacks on the refugee camp. Three Palestinian youths were earlier killed in the Israeli raid on the camp, two in missiles fired by an Israel drone and one by gunfire. *** Israeli occupation forces detain 25 Palestinians across West Bank RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 28, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation army conducted last night and this morning a large-scale arrest campaign in the occupied West Bank and detained 25 Palestinians, including a child and former prisoners, according to various sources. The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said that at least ten Palestinians, including a 15-year-old child, were rounded up by occupation forces from different areas across Hebron city. PPS added that the rest of the detentions took place in the governorates of Ramallah, Toulkarm, Jineen, Salfeet, and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). Palestinian detainees are usually subjected to brutal abuse during their detention, involving severe beatings and threats against the detainees and their families, added PPS. The total number of Palestinians, including children, women and elderly men, who were detained after October 7th has surged to more than 7,845 persons. Furthermore, the Israeli army continues to carry out the crime of enforced disappearance against detainees in the Gaza Strip, as the occupation refuses to provide human rights institutions with any details regarding their fate or their places of detention. Y.S. *** IOFs kidnap several Palestinians in West Bank raids Thursday 28-March-2024, WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Thursday, amid clashes in some areas. A wanted young man identified as Samir Al-Fayid was reportedly kidnaped by Israeli soldiers from the camp. In Nablus, one young man was injured by IOFs gunfire during clashes with local youths in the city, while resistance fighters detonated explosive devices at Israeli occupation forces in Rafeedya neighborhood. The IOFs kidnaped one young man after ransacking his home in Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus. In Qalqilya, one young man was taken prisoner during an IOFs raid in the city. Local youths reportedly clashed with Israeli occupation soldiers and attacked them with Molotov cocktails in Qalqilya City. The IOFs also stormed other areas of Qalqilya province, including 'Azzoun town and Al-Zawiya village, with no reported kidnappings. Four citizens, including two brothers, were also kidnaped by Israeli occupation forces from Toulkarm City and Sarta village in western Salfeet.
