In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules. 2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet. 3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel. 4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed. 5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists. The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies. In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain. 6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people. Ghebreyesus said that the delivery included treatments for 50 children suffering from acute malnutrition, and lifesaving medical supplies for 150 patients. “Over 240 patients are being served by a large number of volunteer health workers. Services are very limited due to a lack of medical supplies, fuel, water and food,” he added. He said, “The level of destruction surrounding the hospital is beyond words,” reiterating his call for a ceasefire in Gaza. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure. *** 'Hamdan: Israel is obstructing negotiations, the exchange deal still in general framework Saturday 2-March-2024, DOHA, (PIC) The senior Hamas official Osama 'Hamdan said that Israel only wants to exchange prisoners, while the resistance demands an end to the aggression on Gaza once and for all and an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in addition to allowing in aid, starting reconstruction, and returning the displaced to their homes, stressing that any prisoner exchange deal should come within this context. 'Hamdan, who is well informed about the details of the indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel through mediating countries, led by Qatar and Egypt, revealed that until now, the negotiations are still conducted within the general framework. The Hamas official explained, in an interview with Al-Jazeera Net on Friday, that there is no detailed discussion of names or even numbers, and that the focus is on a general framework until an agreement is reached out. He asserted that the negotiations are not aimed at implementing what Israel wants; rather it is oriented towards putting an end to the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. The Hamas leader said that the US President Joe Biden is not a mediator, but rather a partner in the aggression and he may have bet on the Israelis to eliminate the resistance, but he failed. 'Hamdan also praised Hezbollah’s resistance in southern Lebanon, stressing that the Israel is incapable of launching a widespread aggression against Lebanon. Until now, the Israelis are still obstructing the negotiation process and trying to gain more time, and their philosophy throughout this path is to ensure the continuation of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, 'Hamdan said. The US administration has realized that the Israelis have been unable to achieve the goals set for the aggression, and that the entire Israeli operation against the Gaza Strip has left behind massive destruction and a crime of genocide; but on the other hand, it did not end the resistance in the Gaza Strip, and it will not, whether in Gaza or in Palestine. Regarding the resignation of the Shtayya government, 'Hamdan said, “I believe that this resignation may have come at an inappropriate time, because it came in light of the talks about a renewed authority, and I hope it does not come in response to US demands. I stress that the Palestinian demand is to form a consensus government by the Palestinian factions whose duty is to deal with Gaza relief and reconstruction and to arrange general Palestinian national elections.” 'Hamdan concluded his interview with a message to the Palestinian people in which he hailed their steadfastness and reiterated that the resistance will continue until the aggression is terminated. *** Erdogan: Western powers are accomplices in the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Saturday 2-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC) Turkish president Recep Erdogan has described Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip as “genocide” and not a conflict, accusing the Western powers of being accomplices in the war crimes happening in Gaza. “The Gaza crisis is a testament to the collapse of the current global order,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday, speaking at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. According to Anadolu news agency, Erdogan said that “the current century has been turning into an era of crises as the rules-based international order has lost meaning, becoming no more than a slogan.” “The current international system, devoid of fundamental concepts such as solidarity, justice, and trust, cannot fulfill even its minimum responsibilities,” Erdogan added in his speech at the event, which was held on Turkiye’s southern Mediterranean coast. Erdogan accused the Western countries of supporting Tel Aviv unconditionally and being “complicit in the bloodshed through their hypocritical policies.” “What is happening in Gaza is not a conflict, it is a genocide, because even wars have their own rules,” he said, adding: “I am talking about treacherous, dishonorable targeting and barbarity that lacks any sense of honor.” Erdogan talked about the brutal killing of civilians, including women and children, in Gaza, stressing that belief in global justice, law and order had also been tarnished. He called for necessarily establishing an independent, sovereign Palestinian state with territorial integrity and on the 1967 borders. “The global community can only repay its debt to the Palestinian people through the establishment of a Palestinian state,” he said. He expressed his concern over Israel’s practices in Gaza, pointing to its mass killing of civilians waiting for aid last Thursday. “As a result of Israel’s deliberate attacks against civilian gatherings, 30,000 Gazans, mostly children and women, have been martyred so far. More than 70,000 Palestinians have been injured and approximately 2,000,000 people have been forced to leave their homes,” he said. Erdogan also sharply criticized international bodies over what he called their impotence and failure to act against Israel. “We have seen how weak and dysfunctional international institutions are, such as the UN Security Council, whose duty is to ensure global peace, the European Union and others,” he said. *** African Union chief says Israel is 'mass killing of Palestinians' seeking aid NAIROBI, Saturday, March 2, 2024 (WAFA) - African Union chief Mousa Faqih (Faki) said today the Israeli occupation was "mass killing Palestinians" and urged an international probe after dozens of starving Palestinians were killed by the occupation forces while waiting for an aid convoy in war-torn Gaza. Faqih (Faki) "strongly condemns an attack by Israeli forces, that killed and wounded more than 100 Palestinians seeking life-saving humanitarian aid," the bloc said in a statement dated Friday but posted on X on Saturday. "The Chairperson calls for an international investigation into the incident to bring the perpetrators to account," the statement said, urging "an immediate and unconditional ceasefire". On Thursday morning, Israeli tanks opened fire as Palestinian civilians scrambled for food supplies at the Al-Rashid Street in Gaza City, resulting in more than 100 Palestinians killed. The killings came after a World Food Programme official had warned: "If nothing changes, a famine is imminent in northern Gaza." World leaders have called for an investigation, with U.S. President Biden saying that the United States would start delivering relief supplies into Gaza via air drops -- as some of its allies have already -- in a bid to get aid into hard-to-reach areas.
