While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (October 7, 2023-Fruary 26, 2024), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Haniyya calls for halting aggression on Gaza, accelerating relief

Saturday 9-March-2024, DO'HA, (PIC)

Head of the 'Hamas political bureau, Isma'eel Haniyya, sent a message to the leaders, figurers, and scholars of the Muslim nation on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, calling on them to take effective action at various political, diplomatic, and legal levels in order to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, and to protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Haniyya stressed the need to put pressure on those who support Israel to oblige it to enforce an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.

The 'Hamas leader demanded accelerating the humanitarian relief process through urgent entry of aid convoys of food and medicine, in addition to the provision of shelter, opening the crossings permanently, lifting the siege, and commencing a comprehensive reconstruction process.

Haniyya called for exerting more efforts to prosecute Israel, expose its crimes, and isolate it politically and diplomatically as a price for its genocidal massacres and war crimes committed in Gaza.

He asserted that all of Israel’s crimes will not deter the Palestinian people from continuing resistance until they regain their right to freedom, return, and independence in a sovereign state of Palestine with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.

Five civilians killed, nine injured in Israeli strike on Lebanese house

Sunday 10-March-2024, BEIRUT, (PIC)

At least five people, including parents and their children, were killed and nine wounded in an Israeli strike on a house in southern Lebanon, the country’s official National News Agency (NNA) reported on Saturday.

“The attack against a house in the Khirbet Selm area killed a family of four, a couple and their two children, and another person,” NNA said, adding that the mother was pregnant.

The strike destroyed the house and caused damage to surrounding homes, wounding at least nine others.

The fighting is mainly along border areas, but fears have grown of a broader conflict in Lebanon.

Last Tuesday, a Lebanese couple and their son were killed in an Israeli strike on a house in the southern border village of Hoala.

Earlier Saturday, Hezbollah announced that its fighters targeted Israeli military posts on the border with appropriate weapons, killing and injuring a number of soldiers.

Al Jazeera TV reveals Israeli execution of 50 civilians & targeting displaced citizens’ tents in Gaza

Sunday 10-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Al Jazeera TV channel has revealed new details about the Israeli execution of 50 civilians in the city of Gaza and has identified the identity of the isolated Palestinian elderly man who was executed by Israeli occupation soldiers during their raid on a house in western Gaza City last November.

Al Jazeera said that it obtained details revealing the execution of 50 civilians by occupation soldiers in the same area, western Gaza, and the destruction and looting of homes and facilities.

Witnesses confirmed that the residential area had become one of the main points of concentration for occupation soldiers, where they executed more than 50 Palestinians in their homes while trying to escape.

According to testimonies from the surviving residents of the area, the martyrs were buried in random and hasty ways.

Before the withdrawal of the occupation army, the entire area was destroyed, as shown in exclusive photos taken by Al Jazeera.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera revealed the identity of the old man who was killed by Israeli soldiers in the same area. It said his name is 'Atta Ibraheem Al-Muqayid, a 73-year-old deaf elderly man. Al Jazeera obtained a photo of the martyr’s body after it had decomposed, but refrained from broadcasting it due to the severity of the scene.

The martyr could not know that the soldiers had arrived at the location and stormed the house because he did not hear any gunfire in the area. When he was surprised by the soldiers entering the house, his signaling to them not to shoot at him did not help.

This information is consistent with what the Israeli soldier who killed the martyr Atta said, that the martyr gestured to him, asking him not to shoot at him.

Al Jazeera had obtained graphic footage documenting Israeli soldiers killing an isolated elderly Palestinian man during their invasion of a house in western Gaza City.

The footage, which was filmed by an Israeli soldier’s camera, documented the moments of the house invasion and the killing of the elderly man who was alone inside.

The soldiers admitted to killing him before they resumed firing at his body despite the absence of any danger to them or any clashes in the area.

According to the camera’s data, the footage dates back to November 6th of last year at 3:55 PM.

In another development, Israeli occupation forces committed a massacre against displaced civilians in the Khan Younus area, which was previously declared a safe zone, at dawn Sunday. Local sources said that the occupation forces shelled the tents of the displaced people in Al-Mawasi area with several artillery shells, resulting in at least 13 martyrs and dozens of injuries.

The sources also mentioned that the occupation forces continued to shell the area, and the ambulances were unable to reach the site to transport the martyrs and the wounded except after several hours. Al-Mawasi is a coastal strip that extends from west of Khan Younus to southwest of Rafa'h. It was previously designated by the occupation as a safe zone, where tens of thousands of residents sought refuge, setting up tents and living in extremely difficult conditions.

Since October 7th of last year, Israel has been waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the deaths and injuries of tens of thousands of civilian victims, mostly children and women. This has also led to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction.

Gaza: Infant and 20-year-old woman die of starvation

Sunday 10-March-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

An infant and a young woman died on Saturday from severe malnutrition and dehydration in northern Gaza with an estimated 300,000 people there facing famine as Israel prevents aid distribution.

According to the health ministry in Gaza, a two-month-old female infant died of malnutrition and dehydration at the Kamal 'Idwan Hospital in northern Gaza.

Starvation and dehydration also killed a young woman at Al-Shifa Hospital, where three more young people already died of the same cause last Friday, spokesman for the ministry Ashraf al-Qidra said.

These new victims increased the number of known starvation deaths to 25 in Gaza, spokesman Qidra added.

The spokesman expressed his belief that “the increase in death from malnourishment and dehydration confirms that the famine in northern Gaza has reached deadly levels.”

As Israel’s severe restrictions on allowing aid into the Gaza Strip have drained essential supplies, displaced Palestinians say they are struggling to feed their children.

Starving mothers are unable to produce enough milk to breastfeed their babies, while parents arrive at overwhelmed health facilities pleading for infant formula, journalists reports from Gaza.

Gazan civilians have lost on average tens of kilograms of weight, and people in northern Gaza rush to grab aid from infrequent humanitarian drops, according to relief workers.

Health workers also say they cannot offer life-saving treatment to malnourished Gazans because the Israeli occupation army’s bombardment and siege has crushed the medical system.

Spain’s premier says he will propose that parliament recognizes a state of Palestine

MADRID., Sunday, March 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said yesterday that he will propose that Spain’s parliament recognizes a state of Palestine.

“I will propose granting Spain’s recognition to the Palestinian state,” Sánchez said. “I do this out of moral conviction, for a just cause and because it is the only way that the two states, Israel and Palestine, can live together in peace.”

Sánchez added his voice to a chorus of other European leaders and government officials who have said that they could support a two-state solution in the Middle East as international frustration grows with Israel’s actions in the Palestinian territories.

Sánchez pointed out that his position on the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip is much like his country’s support for Ukraine following Russia’s full-scale invasion more than two years ago.

He stressed that Spain demanded “respect for international law from Russia, and from Israel, for the violence to end, the recognition of two states, and for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza.”

Gaza: Death toll surges to 31,045 martyrs

Sunday 10-March-2024, WEST BANK, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army committed eight massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 85 civilians and injuring over 130 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 31,045 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 72,654 people.

Every day, the Israeli army escalates its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted multiple civilian homes in the refugee camp, leading to the killing of several individuals and the injury of others.

Latest Israeli attacks claim more innocent lives across Gaza

GAZA, Sunday, March 10, 2024 (WAFA) –

Scores of Palestinian civilians were brutally killed by Israeli airstrikes or artillery shelling over the last hours across the Gaza Strip, as the ongoing Israeli genocidal onslaught on the enclave enters its 156th day in a row, according to local and medical reports.

In Khan Younus province, southern Gaza, at least 15 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured in an Israeli bombardment targeting the tents of displaced families in Al-Mawasi region, which has ironically been designated as a 'safe zone' for Palestinians by the Israeli occupation army.

The attack on Al-Mawasi region coincided with Israeli warplanes unleashing intense fire belts over the adjacent city of Khan Younus.

Meantime, a Palestinian was killed and three others were injured when Israeli occupation forces shelled a vehicle on Salah al-Din Road in the city of Rafa'h, located in the farthest south of the Gaza Strip.

In the central region of the Strip, medical sources reported that the bodies of more than 37 martyrs in addition to 118 wounded individuals were transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Dair El-Bala'h.

The casualties brought to the hospital were a result of Israeli shelling on various areas of the central Gaza Strip during the past hours, accompanied by artillery shelling on civilian homes.

In Gaza City, in the northern half of the enclave, WAFA correspondent reported that five civilians were killed, and dozens were injured after the Israeli military targeted civilians waiting for aid near the Kuwait roundabout in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City. The casualties and the injured were transported to Al Shifa Medical Complex.

In the North Gaza province, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting the Abu Nasir family's house in the Bait Lahya project, resulting in the killing and injuries of several civilians.

Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers

Israeli occupation apartheid regime police allows illegal Israeli settlers to defile Al-Aqsa Mosque, bar entry of Muslim worshipers

Sunday 10-March-2024, Al-Quds (Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police allowed hordes of extremist  illegal Jewish settlers to desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) on Sunday morning and later in the afternoon, while persisting in banning Muslim worshipers from entering their holy site.

According to local sources, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque in groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police escort.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them performed Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police prevented Muslim worshipers from entering the Islamic holy site during the settler tours and only allowed in a few numbers of elderly men for prayers, especially at dawn.

Meanwhile, Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) young activists urged their compatriots to march en masse to Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan to break the siege imposed on it by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police for the sixth consecutive month.

The activists called for closing all Jerusalem mosques during Ramadan and performing prayers only at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
