In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules. 2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet. 3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel. 4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed. 5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists. The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies. In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain. 6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people. Click here for more about using the apostrophe and the underlining of letters in the transliteration of Arabic names. *** *** 'Hamas denies receiving new ceasefire proposal from mediators Tuesday 4-June-2024 DOHA, (PIC) Member of the 'Hamas political bureau, 'Husam Badran, has affirmed that his Movement has not received any official notification from the mediators regarding the new ceasefire proposal. In remarks on Monday, Badran said that the ceasefire proposal that had been presented by the mediators on May 6 is still the paper approved by 'Hamas and other resistance factions in Gaza. “US president Joe Biden’s recent speech on renewed talks to end the war on Gaza reflects that the Israeli occupation regime and its main supporters are in a state of confusion because they thought they could break our people and defeat our resistance, but this never happened,” Badran said. The 'Hamas official affirmed that Biden admitted that the (Israeli) occupation regime was unable to achieve any of its political and military goals in Gaza over the past months. He added that (the Biden) administration had the means to pressure premier Benjamin Netanyahu and his government to stop the war. He described Netanyahu as “the only party obstructing any efforts to reach a ceasefire deal,” accusing him of being unwilling to end the war for personal and political reasons. *** Iran’s acting top diplomat: The Palestinian cause is our top priority Tuesday 4-June-2024 BEIRUT, (PIC) A delegation from the Palestinian resistance factions met in Beirut with Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, along with his accompanying delegation, and the Iranian Ambassador to Beirut, Mojtaba Amani, on Monday. The Palestinian delegation included the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad Al-Nakhalah, his deputy, Dr. Mu'hammed Al-Hindi, deputy head of the 'Hamas Movement in the Gaza Strip, Dr. Khaleel Al-'Hayya, the 'Hamas leader in Lebanon, Osama 'Hamdan, the deputy secretary-general of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Jameel Mizhir, the Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, Talal Naji, and the Secretary-General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Fahd Sulayman. During the meeting, the factions renewed their condolences over the loss of the late Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi, and Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian. The meeting also dealt with the latest political and field developments in the “Aqsa Flood” battle. Kani, for his part, emphasized that Iran will continue to back the Palestinian resistance and that the Palestinian cause is a top priority for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. *** The family of injured Wafaa Jarrar demands the Israeli hospital to hand over her amputated legs, for burial, according to Islamic Law Tuesday 4-June-2024 RAMALLAH, (PIC) The family of the injured Wafaa Jarrar, 49, from Jineen, demanded that the Israeli 'Afoula Hospital hand over her amputated legs for burial according to Islamic law. The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said that the lawyer of the injured woman submitted an urgent request, on behalf of her family, to the director of the Israeli 'Afoula Hospital, the director of the intensive care department and the Israeli Ministry of Health demanding the return of her amputated legs in order to bury them according to Islamic law. The lawyer had received an unexpected verbal response from one of the hospital’s doctors stating that the limbs had been disposed of. Prisoners’ institutions described this as “a new violation added to the complex crime that the occupation carried out against Jarrar from the moment of her arrest from her home in Jineen last May 21.” The request also included a demand to obtain her medical file from the moment of her arrest on May 21 until her release from the hospital on May 30. It also demanded clarification of what happened on May 27, the day on which the injured woman underwent a below-the-knee amputation of her legs, after obtaining approval from her family and lawyer. Later on, though, it became evident that another amputation had been done on her legs above the knee without her family’s approval. Jarrar, 49, was detained by the Israeli army during an incursion into Jenin in the occupied West Bank on May 21. An explosive device hit the military vehicle transferring Jarrar to Al-Jalama military camp near Jenin, causing severe wounds in her legs, according to the Israeli army. The circumstances of the explosion remain unknown, and no further details have been announced by the Israeli army about the incident. *** Nagasaki mayor suspends invite to Israel for peace ceremony TOKYO, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 (WAFA) – Nagasaki Mayor Shiro Suzuki said he is withholding an invitation to Israel to attend the city’s annual peace ceremony and will call on the Jewish state to accept an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. “Given the critical humanitarian situation in Gaza and international opinion, there is a risk of unpredictable disruption occurring at the ceremony,” Suzuki said on June 3. “We need to carefully monitor the situation as it develops.” The peace ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 9, the 79th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. Suzuki said he would send a letter to the Israeli Embassy in Tokyo, urging an immediate ceasefire. Nagasaki Mayor Shiro Suzuki said, "we have suspended sending a letter of invitation" to the Israeli ambassador to Tokyo." Y.S. *** To secure colonists' flag march, Israeli authorities turn Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) sites into military zone Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Tuesday, June 4, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities Tuesday turned the city of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and its old town into a military zone under the pretext of securing the provocative “flag march,” which the colonial associations intend to organize on Wednesday. The occupation authorities sent in more than 3,000 policemen to occupied Jerusalem, and set up military checkpoints on the main roads, announcing that they would close major routes and push more of their police forces into the city on the eve of the so-called “flag march,” which will pass through the neighborhoods of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and land in Al-Buraq Wall Square. Ministers and members of Knesset from the government coalition are also expected to participate in the provocative march. The alleged "Temple" organizations and colonial groups called for the largest storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday morning. The Islamic Christian Commission for Supporting Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the Holy Sanctities warned of the danger of the Israeli escalation against Al-Aqsa Mosque on the eve of commemoration of the occupation of the city of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). It indicated that the so-called Israeli Knesset (the occupation apartheid regime parliement) will hold, for the first time, today a discussion session entitled “Israel’s Return to the Temple Mount” at the invitation of the so-called extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, in order to study a plan to “impose Biblical rituals” inside Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Commission said that it studies with extreme seriousness this an unprecedented escalation against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attempt to impose new facts that undermine the existing religious and legal situation, adding that it holds the occupation authorities fully responsible for the serious repercussions of these violations. It called on Palestinian Muslims for mobilizing and traveling to Al-Aqsa Mosque to confront any attempt by the colonialists to storm it and hold biblical rituals inside the mosque. K.T. *** Over 15,000 children, including school and kindergarten students, killed in Gaza, says Ministry of Education GAZA, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Education said that more than 15,000 Palestinian children have been killed since the start of the Israeli occupation regime genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the majority of them school and kindergarten students, in addition to 64 students from schools in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. The Ministry added in a statement, on the occasion of the International Day of Innocent Child Victims of Aggression, which falls on June 4, that the most prominent title of this occasion is “The Children of Gaza,” as they are the biggest victims of the ongoing occupation aggression since October 7. It further indicated that the occupation destroyed schools and kindergartens and specifically targeted civilians with children, killing them, forcibly abandoning them, arresting them, depriving them of food and health services, and other serious violations, which represent crimes that exceeded norms, charters, and the human rights system. The Ministry pointed out that since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, 620,000 students have been deprived of going to their schools, and 88,000 students have been deprived of going to their universities, while most of them suffer from psychological trauma and difficult health conditions. The Ministry of Education called on international organizations and institutions defending children and the right to education to put an end to the escalating violations and stop the crimes committed by the occupation against children students. It also called for the need to intervene urgently and immediately to stop this Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, and the attacks of the occupation army and illegal settlers in the West Bank. Y.S. *** Ongoing war destroying social fabric in Gaza, UN aid official says NEW YORK, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 (WAFA) – The humanitarian crisis in Rafa'h has reached a critical point, said the head of UN aid agency OCHA's office in the occupied Palestinian Territory. Andrea De Domenico, Head of OCHA's Office in the occupied Palestinian territory, recently spent three weeks in the enclave, where over one million people have fled the southern city of Rafah following the step-up in Israeli military operations, according to Palestine refugee agency UNRWA. Briefing journalists in New York, Mr. De Domenico added that the operational environment for humanitarians also remains dangerous and challenging, despite engagement with the parties. "The events that have unfolded in Rafa'h since the seventh of May, with the subsequent move up to almost a million people that found refuge for months in Rafah and now that they've moved all in a sudden... The result of it is that the narrowing space that is left for civilians to conglomerate and leave is becoming more and more limited, and more and more crowded," De Domenico said during a virtual press briefing at the UN. The people of Gaza are "very welcoming people, they're super they're formidable guests," De Domenico said, adding that the current dire situation on the ground is destroying "more and more this fabric progressively." He continued by saying that all hospitals in Rafa'h are "no more functional" and that there are only field hospitals. With "more or less 950,000 people" left Rafa'h, he said "the operational environment remains extremely challenging" in the area. Turning to remarks by Israeli officials suggesting the war on Gaza will continue until the end of the year, De Domenico said: "The perspective of having a war until the end of the year is simply terrifying in my mind. "I was reflecting a little bit on all this dynamic of the criticism moved to the United Nations' inability to deliver humanitarian. I've lived it on my skin in the last three weeks how complicated it is to operate," he said. "I think there is no other place in the world where the system has been put to such level of challenges and stretch".
