While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Israeli genocidal airstrike kills two citizens in South Lebanon

Sunday 2-June-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

Two Lebanese citizens were martyred on Sunday when an Israeli genocidal airstrike targeted their home in 'Hoala town, south of the country.

Lebanese media sources said the airstrike killed two brothers identified as 'Ali and Mu'hammed Qasim.

The sources added that the Israeli occupation army also launched artillery attacks on the towns of Naqoura, Dthahira, Yareen, 'Ayta Al-Sha'b, and Tallat Al-'Awaida.

Tensions along the Lebanese border escalated on October 8, 2023 following a barrage of projectiles launched by the Islamic resistance party of Hizbullah toward Israeli targets in solidarity with the Gaza Strip.

Osama 'Hamdan: Biden’s ceasefire ideas are positive, but not enough

Sunday 2-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Senior 'Hamas official Osama 'Hamdan has welcomed the general ceasefire plan proposed by US president Joe Biden in a recent speech, which he said contained “positive ideas.”

In an interview conducted by Al Jazeera satellite channel on Saturday, 'Hamdan said that Biden’s ideas for a ceasefire in Gaza are positive but they are not enough, affirming that Hamas wants the matter to crystallize within the framework of a comprehensive agreement.

'Hamdan reiterated his Movement’s rejection of any presence of Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip or at the Rafa'h border crossing in any potential deal, stressing that the Palestinian interior ministry administered the Rafa'h crossing before the war and would continue to do so after the war ends.

“There is no initiative. President Biden talked about ideas, and general ideas do not mean that an understanding could be reached. They are a general framework containing many details that were discussed over the past four months,” 'Hamdan said.

The Hamas official pointed out that the previous efforts made by Egyptian and Qatari mediators aimed at brokering a deal that leads to the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza and ends its military operations.

“We already had a clear position and responded positively to such efforts and mediation. We accepted the final proposal that was presented by the mediators and approved by the US, but the Americans failed to oblige and convince the Israeli side to accept the paper, which led all the efforts that had been made in this regard to collapse,” 'Hamdan explained.

'Hamdan stressed the need for a crystal-clear agreement that achieves a complete halt to the war, the withdrawal of the occupation forces from Gaza, the flow of aid and the reconstruction of the besieged territory.

In a related context, Gaza ceasefire mediators Qatar, Egypt, and the US called on both Hamas and Israel to finalize a truce deal as outlined by the US president.

“As mediators in the ongoing discussions to secure cease-fire in Gaza and the release of hostages and detainees, Qatar, the United States, and Egypt jointly call on both Hamas and Israel to finalize the agreement embodying the principles outlined by president Biden,” the Qatari foreign ministry said in a joint statement on Saturday, citing Biden’s Friday night address on the proposed deal.

“These principles brought the demands of all parties together in a deal that serves multiple interests and will bring immediate relief both to the long-suffering people of Gaza as well as the long-suffering hostages and their families,” the statement added.

The mediators emphasized that “this deal offers a roadmap for a permanent ceasefire and ending the crisis.”

Rescue teams recover bodies of 50 slain individuals after pullout of Israeli troops from Jabalya

GAZA, Sunday, June 2, 2024 (WAFA) –

Today, rescue and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of 50 slain individuals from the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of bodies retrieved since the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army from the camp to more than 120 martyrs.

This marks the third consecutive day of recovery efforts following the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from the camp after a deadly ground offensive that lasted over 20 days.

Last Friday, teams recovered over 70 martyrs, including 20 children. The search continues for dozens of missing individuals among the rubble of homes, shelters, schools, and hospitals, all of which were not spared from the relentless Israeli bombardment and destruction. Even clinics and facilities belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) were not spared the devastation.

After the Israeli military withdrew from the camp, as well as the neighboring town of Bait Lahya, the scene appeared as if the area had been struck by a devastating earthquake.

Over the course of 20 days, the occupation forces wreaked havoc and destruction in the refugee camp, employing a scorched-earth policy that resulted in the killing and injury of hundreds, forced displacement of nearly 200,000 citizens, complete destruction of residential areas, and the burning and bombing of public and service facilities.

The spectacle was so horrifying that it resembled the aftermath of a catastrophic earthquake.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported receiving harrowing accounts from the camp regarding the killing and injury of children who sought refuge in one of its schools, which had been besieged by Israeli tanks in recent weeks.

The UN organization also highlighted the setting ablaze by Israeli soldiers of tents belonging to displaced persons in its affiliated school, adding that more than 170 UNRWA facilities have been destroyed or damaged in various parts of the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli aggression.

Israeli occupation forces continue closure of Rafa'h and Karm Abu Salim crossings in Gaza for day 27

RAFAH, Sunday, June 2, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces continue the closure of the Rafa'h border crossing, Gaza’s sole pedestrian crossing to the outside world, and the Karm Abu Salem commercial crossing in southern Gaza for the 27th consecutive day, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis gripping the besieged territory.

Since May 7, Israeli occupation forces have occupied the Palestinian side of the Rafa'h border crossing, halting the flow of aid to the territory. Additionally, since then, Israeli forces have maintained the closure of the Karm Abu Salim commercial crossing southeast of Rafa'h, preventing the entry of humanitarian and medical aid.

The Rafa'h border crossing is considered the main land gateway for delivery of international aid and for the wounded and sick in Gaza seeking treatment abroad.

On May 5, Israeli occupation forces completely closed the Karm Abu Salim crossing southeast of Rafa'h, preventing the entry of humanitarian and medical aid.

After 20 days of closure, the crossing was opened for less than 24 hours, during which only 200 aid trucks, including 4 fuel trucks, were allowed entry. These quantities are severely inadequate compared to the needs of the Gaza Strip, particularly after seven consecutive months of aggression.

According to medical sources, no patient or wounded person has been able to leave the Gaza Strip since the Palestinian side of the Rafa'h border crossing was occupied by the Israeli army.

Due to the continued closure of the border crossings, cessation of aid flow, and deliberate targeting of health facilities, only Al-Sultan Hospital remains operational in Rafa'h. This comes after the closure of Abu Yousuf Al-Najjar Hospital, Abu Al-Waleed Central Clinic, Rafa'h Field Hospital, Kuwait Specialized Hospital, and the Indonesian Field Hospital in the city.

Israeli forces persist in their military offensive on Rafa'h and the closure of crossings despite international condemnation and calls for cessation of aggression. The latest of these calls came from the International Court of Justice, ordering Israel to immediately halt its military operations in Rafa'h and ensure the opening of the Rafa'h crossing to facilitate aid entry.

Rafa'h was the last refuge for displaced individuals in the devastated enclave. Since the beginning of the Israeli ground onslaught on Gaza on October 27, 2023, citizens have been urged to head from the north and center of the Strip to the south, under the pretext of it being "a safe zone."

Gaza: Death toll surges to 36,439 martyrs

Sunday 2-June-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army committed four massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 60 civilians and injuring over 220 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 280 of them, including 60 martyrs, were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 36,439 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 82,627 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Day 240 of Israel's genocide: Multiple casualties as Israeli warplanes strike Gaza, Rafa'h

GAZA, Sunday, June 2, 2024 (WAFA) – Early this morning, several Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured in airstrikes and artillery shelling by Israeli occupation forces, which primarily targeted the cities of Gaza and Rafa'h in the war-ridden Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondents reported that an Israeli airstrike hit a house in the Shawwa Square area of the Al-Daraj neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, while another airstrike targeted a Khalifa family home in the Old City of Gaza. Artillery shelling also hit the vicinity of the University College in the Sabra neighborhood, south of the city, resulting in several casualties.

In Rafa'h, located in the south of the enclave, Israeli airstrikes targeted the Brazil neighborhood, causing injuries to civilians and the destruction of several homes.

At the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, also known as the Baptist Hospital, three fatalities were brought to the hospital, including a woman and an infant, following an Israeli airstrike on an apartment belonging to the Nabi family in the Shawwa Square area of the Al-Daraj neighborhood.

Simultaneously, Israeli fighter jets bombarded a plot of land in the town of Al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Younus, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli artillery also bombarded homes east of Dair El-Bala'h, east of Al-Buraij refugee camp, and northwest of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza. Furthermore, Israeli naval vessels fired their machine guns at homes along the coastline of Dair El-Bala'h.

Meantime, the Israeli artillery continued its bombardment in the Al-Shaikh 'Ijlin, Tel Al-Hawa, and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods, as well as on Street 8 in Gaza City, accompanied by heavy machine-gun fire from attack helicopters.

Earlier, Israeli artillery shelling hit the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, as well as the towns of Al-Mughraqa and Al-Zahraa in the central Gaza Strip. Concurrently, the occupation forces fired smoke bombs along with artillery shelling west of Rafa'h.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has so far resulted in 36,379 documented Palestinian fatalities, with the majority being women and children, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7. Thousands of victims are also believed trapped under the rubble.

Illegal Israeli settlers set fire to agricultural land in Duma, south of Nablus

NABLUS, Sunday, June 2, 2024 (WAFA) –

This morning, a group of illegal Israeli settlers set fire to agricultural land in the village of Duma, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Sulayman Dawabshah, head of the Duma Village Council, reported that colonists ignited fires in the farmland west of the village, which is planted with olive trees and wheat crops.

Dawabshah noted that the colonists deliberately set fire to the agricultural land and prevented the villagers from accessing it.

In a previous incident about two months ago, illegal Israeli settlers burned the same area, and at that time, Israeli occupation forces did not allow civil defense teams to approach and extinguish the fire.

Israeli occupation forces demolish home in Al-Walaja, west of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Sunday, June 2, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian-owned home this morning in the village of Al-Wallaja, located west of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Khadir Al-'Araj, the head of the Al-Wallaja Village Council, reported that a large contingent of Israeli soldiers, accompanied by a military bulldozer, broke into the 'Ain Juwaiza neighborhood of the village. They proceeded to demolish the home of Ghassan Al-Atrash, a local resident, which measured approximately 120 square meters.

Al-'Araj pointed out that the Israeli occupation authorities frequently employ such measures to harass residents and pressure them to leave the village, citing flimsy pretexts for the demolitions.

Israeli refuses to permit virtually any Palestinian construction in Area C, which constitutes 60 percent of the occupied West Bank and falls under full Israeli military rule, forcing residents to build without obtaining rarely-granted permits to provide shelters for their families.
