While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

EU condemns Israel’s latest move to expand illegal settlements in West Bank

Thursday 4-July-2024

BRUSSELS, (PIC)

The EU has condemned on Thursday the Israeli occupation apartheid regime latest move to further expand the illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory of the West Bank.

“The European Union condemns the planned so-called legalization of five Israeli settlement outposts and the announcement of thousands of new housing units in the occupied West Bank,” EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said in a statement.

Also condemning Israel’s ongoing policies of dispossession in the West Bank, the statement added: “The ongoing efforts aiming at establishing facts on the ground and risking leading to a de-facto annexation must stop.”

The statement also warned that Israel’s policy of building settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories violates international law, worsens tensions, and damages efforts to achieve a two-state solution, and called on Israel to reverse those decisions.

“In line with its longstanding common position and UN Security Council Resolutions, the EU will not recognize changes to the 1967 borders unless agreed by the parties,” it stressed.

Israel’s Cabinet last week approved steps aimed at “legalizing” settlement outposts in the West Bank and imposing sanctions on the Palestinian Authority.

Euro-Med: Israel uses water as a weapon in its genocidal war on Gaza Strip

Thursday 4-July-2024

GENEVA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime is using water as another weapon against the Palestinian civilian population by deliberately reducing the amount of water available to them, especially potable water sources, imposing famine, and purposefully causing the death of over 2.3 million people as part of its genocide war, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed in a new press release issued on Thursday.

The Euro-Med field team observed significant damage to a desalination plant in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, as a result of direct Israeli targeting. This also resulted in the killing of a young man, who was filling a gallon with water, and the wounding of other individuals.

The station, which provided services to at least 50,000 people in several nearby residential neighborhoods, sustained significant damage after being bombed by the Israeli army with a GBU missile that broke through multiple stories and detonated on the first floor.

As summer temperatures rise, the people of the Gaza Strip are facing significant challenges in getting access to water, the statement reads.

Estimates show that since October of last year, the per capita share of water in the Gaza Strip has decreased by 97% due to the extensive destruction of water infrastructure. As a result of the war, the per capita share of water in the Strip has decreased to between 3 and 15 liters per day, while in 2022 it was approximately 84.6 liters per day.

Continued destruction and devastation by the Israeli occupation army renders the Gaza Strip unlivable, particularly after destroying nine out of ten water tanks and half of the water networks, or 350 km out of 700 km.

According to UN estimates, about 96 percent of the population in the Gaza Strip (2.15M people) face high levels of acute food insecurity. While the whole territory is classified in Emergency (IPC Phase 4), over 495,000 people (22 percent of the population) are still facing catastrophic levels of acute food insecurity (IPC Phase 5). In this phase, households experience an extreme lack of food, starvation, and exhaustion of coping capacities.

WFP: Two million citizens in Gaza suffer food insecurity

Friday 5-July-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The World Food Program (WFP) warned on Thursday that two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which is subject to a devastating Israeli war, suffer from food insecurity.

The WFP voiced concern about “shrinking operational space for aid agencies in Gaza because of Israel preventing access to the Karam Abu Salem commercial crossing.”

The UN foundation published a video showing quantities of food parcels being packed in its warehouse in Abu Rawash area in central Egypt in preparations for dispatch to “vulnerable families in Gaza.”

In a similar context, the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Thursday that “the children in Gaza are dying or watching their parents killed” as a result of the attacks launched by Israel on the Strip.

This came in Guterres’ speech before the 24th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, held in the Kazakh capital, Astana.

He added, “Gaza’s children are dying, suffering serious injuries and psychological trauma, and watching their parents killed and their homes destroyed.”

The Secretary-General stressed that the scenes experienced by Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip “must stop.”

He called for “an immediate ceasefire for humanitarian reasons in Gaza, ending bloodshed, and increasing life-saving aid.”

He stressed that there is also a need for “a clear commitment and a road map to guarantee the two-state solution and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.”

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has killed 38,011 people, and wounded 87,445 others, in addition to the displacement of about 1.9 million people, according to UN data.
