While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

UN: There needs to be a full and permanent ceasefire for aid to flow into Gaza

Wednesday 3-July-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The UN humanitarian coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, has briefed the Security Council on the latest situation in the Gaza Strip, saying not enough aid has been entering Gaza.

Kaag stressed that until there is a full and permanent ceasefire, getting aid into Gaza is like “running up a hill. It’s very, very difficult.”

She said, among other things, they need a better deconfliction mechanism to get aid into Gaza.

“They also needed more assurances that they could get basic supplies in to not only people in Gaza … but also to UN staff and personnel,” she said. They include doctors who still lack basic supplies to help the wounded.

Kaag focused on the need for UN teams to have more “diversified routes coming into Gaza” and said she is engaged in talks with Israeli officials to potentially reopen the vital Rafah border crossing.

She further talked about if they could get these aid mechanisms in place and working to their full capacity. She sees that as part of the reconstruction efforts.

UNRWA: 250,000 set to be displaced in new Khan Younus escalation

Tuesday 2-July-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

In an alert detailing another night of heavy bombardment across the Gaza Strip, the UN agency assisting Palestine refugees, UNRWA, said that Gazans fleeing the southern city have had to erect shelters at the water’s edge because displacement camps are already packed at the coast.

Just weeks after people were forced to return to a devastated Khan Younus, Israeli authorities have issued new evacuation orders for the area, the UN agency said.

“Yet again, families face forced displacement. We estimate that 250,000 people will have to flee. Even though nowhere is safe in Gaza.”

Today, the Israeli forces intensified the bombing of Khan Younus in preparation for a new large-scale military operation as part of the ongoing genocide war.

“It’s another devastating blow to the humanitarian response here, it’s another devastating blow to the people, the families on the ground. It seems that they’ve been forcibly displaced again and again,” said UNRWA.

Earlier today, residents in the Gaza Strip said the Gaza Power Generating Company started work on Salahuddeen Road west of the central Gaza city of Dair El-Bala'h to restart a desalination plant and restore the sanitation system.

UN says Israel prevented entry of aid sent to Gaza

NEW YORK, Tuesday, July 2 2024 (WAFA) –

The United Nations said that Israel prevented the arrival of more than half of the aid sent to the northern Gaza Strip last June.

This came in a press conference by United Nations spokesman Stéphane Dujarric, in which he explained that the displaced people in Gaza suffer from a major shortage of shelter materials or vital supplies.

He pointed out that distributing humanitarian aid through Karm Abu Salim border gate is almost impossible due to security problems and fuel shortages.

Dujarric pointed out that unexploded ordnance in Gaza poses a great danger, especially to children, pointing out that a 9-year-old girl was killed in Khan Younus last Saturday because of these munitions.

He added that Israel prevented the arrival of more than half of the 115 planned aid missions to northern Gaza during June.

In a collective punishment step, Israeli forces demolish family home of Palestinian detainee in Nablus

NABLUS, Wednesday, July 3, 20234 (WAFA) -

In a collective punishment step, the Israeli occupation forces demolished after midnight on Tuesday the family home of a Palestinian detainee in the village of Duma south of Nablus, whom Israel accuses of allegedly carrying out an attack that resulted in the killing of a colonist.

Chairman of Duma Village Council, Suleiman Dawabsha, told WAFA that large Israeli military forces, reinforced by three military bulldozers, stormed the said village and cordoned off the two-storey family home of detainee, A'hmed Samir Dawabsha, before punitively demolishing it.

Dawabsha was detained by the occupation from his home on April 22, after he allegedly killed a colonist.

Israel resorts to punitively demolishing the family homes of any Palestinians – as a means of deterrence - accused of being involved in attacks against Israelis, a policy that Israel does not use against Israeli settlers who were involved in fatal attacks against Palestinians.

Al-Haq human rights group slammed the punitive home demolition of Palestinians suspected of being involved in attacks against Israelis, as a collective punishment and that in accordance with humanitarian law and human rights law, it is assessed as a war crime and a crime against humanity.

B’Tselem, an Israeli human rights group, says: “The people who bear the brunt of the [punitive] demolitions are relatives – including women, the elderly, and children – whom Israel does not suspect of involvement in any offense.”

It said that, “Since this constitutes deliberate harm to innocents, it is clear that even if house demolition had the desired deterrent effect, it would, nevertheless, remain unlawful.”

Amnesty International, argued that the Israeli authorities’ claim that such demolitions are effective in dissuading potential attackers “is entirely irrelevant in the eyes of International humanitarian law, which places clear limits on the actions which an occupying power may take in the name of security, and the absolute prohibition on collective punishment is one of the most important of these rules.”

“Collective punishment is never permissible under any circumstances.”
