Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry:

By July 19, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 45,882+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (38,882), those who are still missing under the rubble (a corrected estimate, on April 18, 2024: 7,000+). 

By July 19, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 89,568.

By July 19, 2024, 574 Palestinians who were killed, 5,244 who were injured, and 9,693, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

By July 12, 2024, the Palestinian death toll in Gaza included 16,054+ children and 10,700 women (69.7% of the total). The death toll also included 500 doctors and medical staff, 158 journalists, and 75 civil defense workers. 

By July 12, 2024, the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment destroyed more than 100 health hospitals and medical facilities,  609 mosques, 3 churches, more than 430,000 housing units, and the infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The 'Hamas Movement and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) called on the leadership of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to withdraw its recognition of Israel.

The announcement was made during a meeting between head of the 'Hamas political bureau Isma'eel Haniyya and the PIJ Secretary-General Ziyad Al-Nakhala and his deputy Dr. Mu'hammed Al-Hindi in the Qatari capital of Al-Doa'ha.

The leaders of the two movements discussed the overall political and field developments related to the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

They also hailed the heroic steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli bloody massacres in the Gaza Strip.

“The leaderships viewed that, in light of the Knesset’s declared position rejecting the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state, the national forces are required today to take a unified stance to confront these attempts to erase the Palestinian cause,” they said in a joint statement.

The joint statement also called on the leadership of the PLO “to withdraw its recognition of the Zionist entity, reaffirming at the same time our people’s right to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of return for refugees.”

Earlier Wednesday, Israel’s Knesset voted overwhelmingly in favor of a resolution rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The resolution garnered support from 68 Knesset members, including those from Benny Gantz’s National Unity Party. Nine Knesset members from Arab parties opposed the proposal, and members of the Labor Party abstained from voting.

The 'Hamas Movement has said that the Israeli Knesset’s passing of a resolution opposing the establishment of a Palestinian state was issued by an occupying power that has no legal status on the Palestinian land, describing the motion as “invalid.”

In a statement on Thursday, 'Hamas said that this Israeli resolution confirmed the Zionist policy that is based on denying the Palestinian people’s rights, including their right to self-determination.

“Our people will continue their resistance, struggle and legitimate defense of their existence against the fascist war of extermination that is being waged by the terrorist Zionist government against them,” Hamas underscored.

“This rude decision is a message of challenge to the international community and contempt for the UN resolutions that support granting Palestine full UN membership,” 'Hamas stressed, calling for international action against such Israeli steps.

Israel’s Knesset voted overwhelmingly in favor of a resolution rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian state on Wednesday.

EU deplores the Israeli parliament (Knesset) resolution opposing the establishment of a Palestinian state

BRUSSELS, Friday, July 19, 2024 (WAFA) —

The European Union has deplored the resolution passed by the Knesset, Israel's parliament, opposing the establishment of a Palestinian state, even if part of a negotiated settlement with Israel.

"There is a strong consensus in the international community that the only sustainable solution that will bring peace and security to the Middle East is the two-state solution," said the EU in a press statement.

The bloc reiterated its unwavering commitment to lasting and sustainable peace in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council, including UN Security Council Resolutions, 2735, 2728, 2720 and 2712, on the basis of the two-state solution. Palestinians and Israelis have an equal right to live in safety, dignity and peace.

The statement added, "In line with its longstanding common position and UN Security Council Resolutions, the EU will not recognize changes to the 1967 borders unless agreed by the parties."

"We will continue to actively work with international and regional partners towards reviving a political process to this end. A credible pathway to Palestinian statehood is a crucial component of that political process. No hope, no horizon for the Palestinian people will only deepen the conflict."

Ministry of Health: Poliomyelitis detected in Gaza

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that tests were conducted on sewage samples in coordination with UNICEF, and the results showed the presence of the virus that causes poliomyelitis.

“Detecting the virus that causes polio in sewage portends a real health disaster and exposes thousands of residents to the risk of contracting poliomyelitis,” the ministry said in a statement on Thursday evening.

It called for an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression, providing potable water, repairing sewage lines, and ending population crowding in places of displacement.

Poliomyelitis is an infectious viral disease that affects the central nervous system and can cause temporary or permanent paralysis.

Amnesty: Israel must end mass incommunicado detention and torture of Palestinians from Gaza

The Israeli (occupation apartheid regime) must end its indefinite incommunicado detention of Palestinians from the occupied Gaza Strip, without charge or trial under the Unlawful Combatants Law, in flagrant violation of international law, said Amnesty International in a statement issued on Thursday.

The organization documented the cases of 27 Palestinian former detainees, including five women, 21 men and a 14-year-old boy, who were detained for periods of up to four and a half months without access to their lawyers or any contact with their families, in connection with this law.

All those interviewed by Amnesty International said that during their incommunicado detention, which in some cases amounted to enforced disappearance, Israeli military, intelligence and police forces subjected them to torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.

The Unlawful Combatants Law grants the Israeli military sweeping powers to detain anyone from Gaza that they suspect of engagement in hostilities against Israel or posing a threat to state security for indefinitely renewable periods without having to produce evidence to substantiate the claims, the statement reads.

“While international humanitarian law allows for the detention of individuals on imperative security grounds in situations of occupation, there must be safeguards to prevent indefinite or arbitrary detention and torture and other ill-treatment. This law blatantly fails to provide these safeguards. It enables rampant torture and, in some circumstances, institutionalizes enforced disappearance,” said Agnès Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International.

“Our documentation illustrates how the Israeli authorities are using the Unlawful Combatants Law to arbitrarily round up Palestinian civilians from Gaza and toss them into a virtual black hole for prolonged periods without producing any evidence that they pose a security threat and without minimum due process. Israeli authorities must immediately repeal this law and release those arbitrarily detained under it.”

Amnesty International called for “all detainees held under the Unlawful Combatants Law, including suspected members of armed groups, to be treated humanely and given access to lawyers and international monitoring bodies such as the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC).”

Those suspected of responsibility for crimes under international law must be tried in line with international fair trial standards, while all civilians detained arbitrarily without charge or trial must be immediately released, the statement concluded.

‎The International Court of Justice: The Israeli occupation of Palestine is illegal, and Israel must end its presence in the Palestinian territories‎

The ‎‎International Court of Justice confirmed on Friday that the presence of the Israeli occupation is illegal in the Palestinian territories‎‎.‎

‎In its advisory opinion issued today, on the judicial repercussions of Israeli practices and their impact on the occupied territories, the Court affirmed that the Israel must stop the occupation and end its illegal presence in the occupied Palestinian territories as soon as possible‎‎.‎

‎The President of the Court, Judge Nawaf Salam, read out the advisory opinion during the‎‎public session held by the Court at its headquarters "Peace Palace" in The Hague, the Netherlands, ‎‎in which he stressed that the Israeli occupation is illegal and that the Israel must end its occupation.‎

‎According to the Court's opinion, the Israel must immediately cease any new settlement activity and remove all settlers from the occupied Palestinian territories‎‎.‎

‎The advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice included that the Israel must compensate for the material and moral losses of individuals in the occupied Palestinian territories‎‎.‎

‎The Court stressed the duty of States not to recognize the illegal presence of settlers and the State of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and not to provide any assistance that would assist the Israel in maintaining the status quo in the OPT‎‎.‎

‎The advisory opinion included the emphasis on the obligation of international organizations, including the United Nations, not to recognize the legitimacy of the status quo and the illegal presence of Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories‎‎.‎

‎The International Court of Justice stressed that the United Nations, the General Assembly and the Security Council should consider additional measures to put an end to Israel's illegal presence in the occupied Palestinian territories‎‎.‎

‎On November November 11, 2022, the Fourth Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, the Special Committee on Political and Decolonization Issues, adopted a draft resolution submitted by the State of Palestine requesting a legal opinion and an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice, on "the legal consequences arising from the ongoing violation by Israel of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, and from its long-term occupation, settlement and annexation of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including measures to change the demographic composition of a city." Background to the ICJ advisory opinion on the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and Gaza Strip

THE HAGUE, Friday, July 19, 2024 (WAFA) -

Today, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the highest judicial body of the United Nations, announced its advisory opinion on the legal consequences of Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967.

Chief Justice, Nawaf Salam, will deliver the advisory opinion in a public session scheduled at the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands, at 4 PM Palestine time.

The Palestinian delegation to the session includes special envoy to President Mahmoud Abbas for international relations, Riyad al-Maliki, Permanent Observer of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyadh Mansour, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador 'Omar 'Awadallah, Ambassador 'Ammar 'Hijazi for multilateral affairs, Palestine's representative to UN specialized organizations in Geneva, Ibraheem Khuraisha, Ambassador to the Netherlands Rawan Sulayman, and Ambassador Majid Bamya from Palestine's mission to New York. The delegation will hold a press conference immediately following the session outside the court.

The initiative stems from a resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly's Fourth Committee on Political Affairs and Decolonization on November 11, 2022, requesting a legal opinion from the ICJ regarding "the legal consequences of Israel's continued violation of the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, its long-term occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967, including settlement and annexation measures, aimed at altering the demographic composition, character, and status of Jerusalem, and the impact of Israel's policies and practices on the legal status of the occupation and the legal consequences thereof for all states and the United Nations."

The court began deliberations on the matter on February 26 last year, hearing arguments and presentations over a week from Palestine and 49 UN member states, including South Africa, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Russia, France, Gambia, Guyana, Hungary, China, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Libya.

Arguments were also presented by Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mauritius, Namibia, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Indonesia, Qatar, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, Sudan, Switzerland, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Zambia, Spain, Maldives, Fiji, Comoros, and three international organizations: the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the African Union, and the Arab League.

The ICJ's advisory opinion comes amid increasing international legal pressures on the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the occupying power, over its ongoing genocidal war on the Gaza Strip and its continuous atrocities in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied East Jerusalem).

Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

On July 19, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on Gaza Strip resulted in main massacres, in which 34 Palestinian civilians were killed, and the 109 others were injured, in the past 24 hours. This increased the accounted for death toll in Gaza Strip to 38,882 and the injuries to 89,568, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023.

Medical sources announced that the toll of the occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 38,919 martyrs and 89,622 injured, since the seventh of October October, 2023.‎

‎The same sources added that the occupation forces committed 4 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 37 martyrs arrived at hospitals, and 54 injuries during the past 24 hours.‎

‎Thousands of victims remain under rubble and on the roads that ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them‎‎, she said.‎

‎On the 287th day of aggression: Martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli occupation forces shelling different areas of the Gaza Strip‎

A number of citizens were killed and injured, last night and at dawn on Friday, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces warplanes and artillery targeting different areas of the Gaza Strip.‎

‎Our correspondent reported that 8 civilians were killed in an Israeli shelling that targeted a house belonging to the Abu Shakyan family in Block C in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, including children.‎

‎He added that 6 citizens from the Abu 'Hasanain family were killed as a result of the Israeli warplanes bombing a house in Al-Buraij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.‎

‎Two civilians were also killed in Israeli warplanes shelling a school housing displaced people in Gaza City, and artillery shelled south of Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of the city.‎

‎Israeli warplanes carried out several raids in the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, and artillery targeted a number of locations west of Rafa'h, in conjunction with Israeli gunfire.‎

‎Israeli artillery shelled the vicinity of Bait 'Hanoun (Erez) crossing, Qulaibo, and Bait Lahya area in the northern Gaza Strip.‎

‎Our correspondent pointed out that paramedics transported several injuries when a drone threw a bomb at a group of young men in the Shakosh area, west of Rafa'h, to Kuwait Specialized Hospital.‎

US-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 287

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 287 on Friday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their ground invasion of large neighborhoods in Rafa'h, since May 7, while storming the Gaza City amid air and artillery bombardment.

Early on Friday, the Israeli artillery bombed the eastern side of the Islamic University in Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip.

Simultaneously, the Israeli artillery shelled southwest of Gaza City.

The Israeli artillery also bombed Al-Fukhari and Ma’an neighborhoods, southeast of Khan Younus. The western outskirts of Rafah were also bombed.

Similar attacks were reported near the Bait 'Hanoun (Erez) checkpoint as well as in the Qalibu and Bet Lahya towns in the north of the Gaza Strip.

Several Palestinians were killed and injured in an Israeli genocidal airstrike on the Abu Shakyan family house in Al-Nusayrat camp in the central Gaza Strip. Children were among the martyrs.

A series of Israeli air raids also targeted the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younus, and Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip.

‎According to local sources, Israeli warplanes bombed a house south of Khan Younus, killing three civilians, including a child and a woman.‎

Israeli genocidal airstrike kills 9 Palestinians in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp

Several civilians were killed and injured this afternoon as a result of an Israeli genocidal airstrike targeting a house in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the heart of the camp camp, leading to the murder of nine civilians and causing injuries to several others with varying degrees of severity.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has so far resulted in the killing of over 38,848 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.

By July 18, 2024, the Israeli onslaught has also left more than 89,459 injured, according to preliminary figures, with thousands still trapped under rubble.

Gaza: Israeli genocidal strikes leave multiple civilians killed and others injured

GAZA, Friday, July 19, 2024 (WAFA) -

Last night and early this morning, a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments targeted various areas across the Gaza Strip, resulting in a devastating toll on civilian lives.

According to our correspondent, eight civilians, including children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit a residence belonging to the Abu Shakyan family in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, central Gaza.

Additionally, six members of the Abu 'Hasanain family were murdered when their home in Al-Buraij refugee camp, also in central Gaza, was targeted with missiles by Israeli warplanes.

Furthermore, two civilians were killed when Israeli airstrikes targeted a school housing displaced persons in Gaza City, while artillery shells hit the southern part of the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of the city.

Simultaneously, Israeli jets conducted multiple airstrikes in the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younus city, while artillery fire targeted several locations west of Rafa'h, coinciding with gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.

Israeli artillery also shelled the vicinity of the Bait 'Hanoun crossing, Qulaibo area, and the town of Bait Lahya in northern Gaza.

In Rafa'h, southern Gaza, WAFA correspondent reported that paramedics rushed several injured persons to Kuwait Specialized Hospital after an Israeli drone targeted a group of young men with a bomb in the Shakoush area west of the city.

A Palestinian young man was injured during an Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) raid in 'Aseera Al-Qibliya village, in southern Nablus on Thursday evening.

'Hafidth Sa’eed, the village council head, said that IOFs stormed the village while shooting at citizens, wounding the youth in the process.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that a 19-year-old youth was hit with an IOFs bullet in his thigh during the raid on the village.

IOFs launches fresh raid campaign across West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a large-scale raid and arrest campaign throughout the West Bank at dawn Friday.

In Toulkarm, the IOFs arrested a young man after breaking into and searching his family house in Qaffeen town, north of the city.

In Qalqilya, the Israeli forces kidnapped a young man in 'Azzoun town, east of the city, after raiding several local homes.

Along the same line, the IOFs stormed Rafeedya, the Northern Mountain, Al-Ma'ajin, Al-Hurriya Street, and Al-Marj neighborhoods in Nablus. No arrests were reported during the raids.

Similar raids were also conducted in the villages of Salim, Dair Al-'Hatab, and Burqa east of Nablus.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Khadir town amid heavy firing of teargas bombs.

The IOFs also stormed in Bait Ummar town and launched a kidnapping campaign in Bait Ka'hil town.

Similar raids were reported in Sa’ir town, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Al-Khaleel (Hebron)-area village of Karma

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Friday, July 19, 1014 (WAFA) –

 Illegal Israeli settlers today attacked the village of Karma, south of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Sources said a group of the illegal Israeli settlers broke into the village of Karma, where they attacked residents’ properties, destroyed several vehicles and smashed their windows, and attacked an auto parts shop.

In the meantime, armed colonists stormed the Khilet a-Dabe area in Masafir Yatta and the outskirts of Dura town, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

The Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their properties has dramatically increased since the onset of Israeli genocidal war the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023.

Illegal Israeli settlers attack Palestinian vehicles near Nablus

 Illegal Israeli settlers launched an attack this morning on vehicles belonging to Palestinian civilians south of Nablus, according to local sources.

Witnesses reported that the illegal Israeli settlers pelted Palestinian vehicles with stones near the illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar, causing damage and endangering the occupants.

Additionally, the colonists blocked the main road of 'Huwwara, south of Nablus, preventing the passage of vehicles under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Israeli occupation forces today raided multiple areas in the Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) Governorate and intensified their military presence there, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA correspondent that Israeli occupation forces stormed the cities of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Bait Jala, Bayt Sa'hour, Al-Doaha, Al-Duhaisha refugee camp, Al-Quds-Al-Khaleel (Jerusalem-Hebron) Street and the Russian roundabout, raiding the neighborhoods and deploying their military vehicles in their streets.

A local source reported that the occupation forces fired tear gas bombs at Al-Duhaisha refugee camp, leading to confrontations in the camp and on Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Street in Hebron.

No injuries or detentions were reported.
