While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza, which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Hamas: Borrell’s statements reveals Israeli fabricated allegations against UNRWA

Tuesday 13-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Hamas Movement said on Sunday that the statements made by EU Foreign Policy Commissioner Josep Borrell in which he said that Israel wanted to get rid of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) over the years, are new evidence of the Israeli fabricated allegations against UNRWA and its employees.

Hamas also stressed the importance of the role played by UNRWA in providing assistance to Palestinian refugees.

It also called on the United Nations and donor countries “not to submit to the misinformation machine driven by the Nazi Zionist entity, which has not yet provided proof of its claims, according to a statement by the Commissioner-General of UNRWA.”

EU Foreign Policy Commissioner Josep Borrell earlier said “The [Israeli] accusations must be verified. The presumption of innocence is valid for everyone, even for UNRWA.” But there is more: “It is not a secret that the Israeli government wants to get rid of UNRWA. Not [just] now, for many years before, [they have] wanted to get rid of UNRWA because they believed that if they get rid of UNRWA, they get rid of the problem of the Palestinian refugees.”

HRW: Rafa'h evacuation plans catastrophic, unlawful

Monday 12-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

International humanitarian law prohibits the forced displacement of civilians except when temporarily required for their security or imperative military reasons, Human Rights Watch (HRW) has warned on Monday.

During the hostilities in Gaza, forced displacement, a war crime, is becoming more of a risk, the rights group added.

“Forcing the over one million displaced Palestinians in Rafa'h to again evacuate without a safe place to go would be unlawful and would have catastrophic consequences. There is nowhere safe to go in Gaza. The international community should take action to prevent further atrocities.”

The human rights organization also called on the international community to take “necessary measures to prevent further atrocities.”

The HRW report came as Israeli occupation escalated its bloody attacks on the Rafa'h Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip.

Abu 'Obayda: Three captives die of wounds sustained in Israeli genocidal airstrikes

Tuesday 13-February-2024, GAZA, (PIC)

Three Israeli captives died of wounds from Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, Abu 'Obayda, the spokesman of the Al-Qassam Brigades of 'Hamas, announced on Monday.

On Sunday, AL-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of 'Hamas, said two captives were killed and eight others injured in Israeli genocidal airstrikes in the last three days.

“Three injured captives succumbed to their wounds from barbaric Israeli strikes on Gaza,” the spokesman said in a terse statement on Telegram.

He added that he will release photos and names of the captives “when the fate of the other injured captives becomes clear.”

Hamas is believed to be holding more than 130 Israeli captives following its 7 October cross-border attack into Israel.

Israel has since pounded the Gaza Strip, killing at least 28,340 people and injuring 67,984 others. The Israeli onslaught has left 85% of Gaza’s population internally displaced amid acute shortages of food, clean water and medicine, while 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure was damaged or destroyed, according to the UN.

Albanese: Israel violated ICJ orders on Gaza

Tuesday 13-February-2024, RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The UN special rapporteur on the occupied territories, Francesca Albanese, accused Israel of breaching the orders issued recently by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) requiring it to take immediate steps to protect Palestinians’ rights and cease all activities that could constitute genocide in Gaza.

The Israeli occupation government was given until February 23 to report to ICJ on what it has done to comply with six orders the court issued, including one relating to ending incitement to genocide and another requiring immediate steps to improve the supply of humanitarian aid.

According to the Guardian website on Saturday, Albanese does not agree with the interpretations of Israel and some lawyers of ICJ’s judicial ruling that the acts mentioned by the court do not mean that they are prohibited so long as Israel undertakes them without genocidal intent.

She said that Israel’s atrocities and destruction of civilian infrastructure had continued since ICJ issued its ruling, aggravating the harsh living conditions in Gaza.

“The fatalities are not solely the result of bombings and sniper attacks,” she said in an interview with the Guardian. “They also occur due to a scarcity of medical supplies and treatment, and, most distressingly, due to inadequate access to food and potable water, forcing consumption of contaminated or polluted water.”

She said that Israel must respect the international court’s decisions, and countries must act decisively to prevent further injustice against the Palestinians.

In a related context, the Israeli occupation regime banned on Monday Albanese from entering Israel, according to an official announcement.

Minister of foreign affairs Israel Katz and minister of the interior Moshe Arbel said the ban was attributed to what they claimed to be Albanese’s “outrageous remarks” that the October 7 events were reactions to Israel’s ongoing oppression of the Palestinian people.

Israel's planned operation on Rafah would be ‘devastating’: Canada

OTTAWA,  Tuesday, February 13, 2024 (WAFA) -

It is “unacceptable” that Israel goes ahead with a planned invasion of Rafa'h because such an operation would be devastating to Palestinians, Canada’s Foreign Minister Melanie Joly said Monday.

Israel has warned around 1 million Palestinians to leave the area because of a planned invasion. Rafa'h is one of the last safe spots in Gaza. Israel conducted airstrikes on Rafah Monday and managed to free two Israeli hostages but during the operation, about 70 Palestinians were killed.

“I’m very concerned about what’s going on in Gaza, in particular Rafa'h,” Joly told reporters in Ottawa. “The operation would be devastating and is devastating to Palestinians and all those seeking refuge.”

“What the (Benjamin) Netanyahu government (of Israel) is asking (Palestinians) to do, which is to leave again, is unacceptable,” Joly said. “They have nowhere to go and so that's why we need right now for the violence to stop.

Over 9,000 Palestinian detainees subjected to unprecedented retaliatory measures

RAMALLAH, Monday, February 12, 2024 (WAFA) –

More than 9,000 Palestinian detainees in Israeli occupation prisons have been subjected to unprecedented retaliatory and punitive measures since October 7th of last year, according to a joint statement issued today by the Detainees Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS).

The two organizations pointed out that over the past period, the pace of measures imposed on the Palestinian detainees, mainly involving systematic torture and abuse, has remained consistent, adding that these actions aim at dehumanizing them and depriving the prisoners of their basic rights.

The statement emphasized that the element of time plays a crucial role in the fate of the detainees, as the retaliatory and punitive measures against them continue unabated. Additionally, certain policies have escalated, intensifying their suffering on various levels.

The Israeli Prison Service has further stripped the detainees of basic tools and means of communication with the outside world, such as television and family visits, according to the statement. Moreover, radios were confiscated in many prisons, leaving lawyer visits as the only means of communication for the detainees.

In the Damoun prison, where the majority of female detainees are held, the prison administration recently transferred them to another section within the same prison. This new section serves as a compounded model of the isolation policy compared to the previous one.

Female detainees are now completely isolated from each other, with windows covered with soundproof and vision-blocking plastic, reinforced with tiny openings that obstruct visibility, the two organizations said.

The Detainees Affairs Authority and PPS revealed that the administration of the Israeli Jalboua prison has implemented a new measure by placing a blue line in front of Palestinian detainees' cells, prohibiting them from approaching or crossing it. Those who breach this line face harassment and physical assault.

Through this measure, according to the statement, the prison administration aims to further isolate the detainees and deprive them of sound communication between cells or during their recreational time, preventing them from interacting with each other.
