While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

In its daily report, the ministry said, the death toll of the Israeli aggression on the Strip has surged to 44,580 martyrs and the number of the wounded mounted to 105,739 since October 7, 2023.

A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been prevented by the Israeli army from reaching them, it added.

Civilians killed and wounded in Israeli airstrike on home in Bait Lahya

GAZA, December 5, 2024 (WAFA) –

Several civilians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike late Thursday evening in the city of Bait Lahya, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli fighter jets targeted a house belonging to the Al-Muqayyad family, which was sheltering displaced members of the Al-Shalfooh family.

The assault resulted in multiple casualties, both fatalities and injuries, although the exact number is still being confirmed.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,580 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 105,739 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Two Palestinians killed in fresh Israeli airstrike on Gaza’s hospital

GAZA, December 5, 2024 (WAFA) –

Two Palestinians Thursday evening were killed in a fresh Israeli airstrike on Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the town of Bait Lahya in the northern Gaza Strip.

Earlier today, the occupation forces targeted the hospital, leaving a boy who was receiving treatment at the hospital dead and injuring 12 patients and medical staff members.

Meanwhile, an Israeli drone conducted an airstrike targeting the perimeter of the hospital, killing a young man in his 30s.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least of 44,580 Palestinians and injuring 105,739 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters day 426

Thursday 5-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 426th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Thursday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 62, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

According to local sources, three citizens were martyred following an Israeli airstrike on a house in Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood in Gaza City.

In northern Gaza, seven citizens were martyred and others were injured in another Israeli genocidal air strike on a house belonging to the family of Mu'haisin, near the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, while a number of people were injured when a quadcopter opened fire at them near the junction of Al-'Halabi in Jabalya.

The Israeli occupation army also bombed two homes belonging to the families of Al-Habbash and Miqdad, near the 'Azzam Mosque, in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, in central Gaza Strip, killing five civilians.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

In a related context, the health ministry in Gaza said on Thursday that the Israeli army committed five massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, and killed and injured at least 249 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

Thursday 5-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army massacred dozens of Palestinian citizens in attacks on tents and homes in the south and north of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

In a statement, the civil defense service said at least 20 civilians, including children, were martyred following an Israeli genocidal attack on tents sheltering displaced families in Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

A spokesman for the civil defense added that its crews rushed to the bombed area and embarked on extinguishing fires in the tents and evacuating casualties.

The spokesman also said that a number of civilians were killed in an Israeli attack on an entire residential block in the Tunnel area, north of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army bombed a house in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the north of Gaza City, killing at least 10 people and injuring many others, including children.

Palestinian detainee 'Alaa Ma'hallawi, from Gaza, dies in Israeli detention

RAMALLAH, December 5, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Authority's Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) have confirmed the death of Palestinian detainee 'Alaa Marwan 'Hamza Ma'hallawi,, 42, from Gaza, in Israeli custody.

Ma'hallawi, had been incarcerated since December 21, 2023. According to his family, he did not suffer from any chronic illnesses prior to his detention, except for a pre-existing eye issue.

The report indicated that Ma'hallawi, had been held in the Naqab Prison, where sources from fellow detainees revealed that his health had significantly deteriorated. However, details surrounding his condition remain scarce. In late November 2023, Mahlawi was transferred to the Israeli 'Asaf Harofeh Hospital, where he died this morning.

Ma'hallawi, leaves behind a wife and four children, the oldest of whom is a 16-year-old daughter, and the youngest is 8 years old. This tragic incident adds to the growing number of mysterious deaths among Palestinian detainees, particularly in the context of Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza.

The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the PPS stressed that the number of Palestinian detainees who have died in Israeli custody has sharply increased since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza. This marks a notable spike in the historical toll on detainees, with Ma'hallawi’s death following closely behind that of Mohammad Walid Hussein from the Nour Shams refugee camp, who died just a day earlier.

Since the onset of the Israeli offensive, at least 49 Palestinian detainees have died in custody, with 30 of these individuals coming from Gaza. The total number of Palestinian detainees who have died in Israeli prisons since 1967 now stands at 286, though many more remain unidentified due to the Israeli practice of concealing detainee identities, particularly those from Gaza.

The two organizations denounced the ongoing systematic mistreatment of detainees in Israeli prisons, describing it as a form of extermination. They stressed that Israel’s prison system has become a site of torture, with policies that aim to eliminate detainees through planned acts of violence and neglect.

They held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for Ma'hallawi,’s death and called for accountability. They also emphasized the urgent need for international pressure on Israel to stop its abusive practices against Palestinian detainees, especially amidst the ongoing violence in Gaza.

As of December 2024, more than 10,300 Palestinian detainees remain incarcerated in Israeli prisons, including 91 women, at least 280 minors, and 3,428 held under administrative detention orders. Many detainees from Gaza remain subject to enforced disappearance in Israeli military facilities.

Several Palestinians suffocate from Israeli occupation army teargas near Nablus

NABLUS, December 5, 2024 (WAFA) –

Several Palestinians Thursday evening suffocated from Israeli army teargas in Bait Foureek town, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to medical sources.

They said that several residents of the town suffocated from excessive tear gas after Israeli occupation forces fired barrages of canisters in the course of confrontations in the town.

Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which also take place in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Several Palestinians kidnaped in a large-scale IOFs campaign in the West Bank

Thursday 5-December-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed several homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Thursday.

According to local sources, the IOFs raided homes and kidnaped citizens during a raid in Dair Abu Dha’eef town in the east of Jenin.

In Nablus, the IOFs kidnapped a female university student after ransacking her family’s house in Qabalan town.

The IOFs also kidnapped a father and his son from Rujeib town, two other citizens from Talfeet town in the southeast of Nablus and another one from Bait Foureek town in the east.

Israeli forces reportedly raided about 20 homes in Al-Naqqara neighborhood in Bait Foureek town, forced their residents to leave them and forcibly evacuated a livestock farm at the pretext of detonating a suspicious object.

A large number of IOFs also stormed different neighborhoods of Nablus City and kidnaped a young man from his home in the Old City.

Meanwhile, resistance fighters opened fire at IOF vehicles and clashed with soldiers in Nablus City’s streets.

In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped a young man from his home in Al-Am’ari refugee camp, and clashed with local youths.

In Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers raided the house of Mohamed Abdul-Hadi, 28, and handed him a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.

Israeli forces also stormed Al-Khadir town in the south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) and fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at homes and stores in the areas of Al-Bawaba and the Grand Mosque.

Local sources in Bethlehem City said that the Israeli intelligence informed the family of an ex-detainee called Shahada Al-Ta’mari that he would be detained after he responded to an interrogation summons delivered to him yesterday. Ta’mari had been released about 10 months ago after 11 years of detention.

In al-Khalil, the IOFs raided several homes in Soureef town and kidnaped one citizen.

10 other citizens were taken prisoner during an IOFs raid in Bait Ummar town, north of Al-Khaleel, according to different media reports.

The IOFs also kidnapped two brothers from the Old City of al-Khalil and one citizen from Al-Sammou' town in the south.

Illegal Israeli Jewish settlers place barbed wire around Palestinian homes in Jordan Valley

Thursday 5-December-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A horde of extremist Jewish settlers installed barbed wire and signs around Palestinian homes in Al-'Ain Al-Hilwa area in the northern Jordan Valley on Thursday.

Local sources said that about 30 settlers placed signs and barbed wire around the homes of Ein al-Hilweh villagers as a prelude to seizing the area and displacing the local residents.

The sources added that 12 families living in Al-'Ain Al-Hilwa area are threatened with displacement from their homes.

The Israeli occupation authority started in recent months to separate Palestinian communities in the northern Jordan Valley from each other and gave the green light for Jewish settlers to seize and fence vast tracts of land in the region, especially in the west of Road 60.

In a separate incident, the Israeli occupation forces uprooted on Thursday 60 olive trees and grapevines and wreaked havoc on an irrigation system and a barbed wire fence in Wadi Abu Kir area in Na'haleen town, west of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

The destroyed trees and agricultural property belonged to citizens from Na'haleen town.

Qatar: Trump wants Gaza ceasefire before he takes office on January 20, 2025

Thursday 5-December-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

US president-elect Donald Trump wants a ceasefire deal over Gaza before his upcoming inauguration on January 20, Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister Mohamed Al Thani said on Wednesday.

In televised remarks, Al Thani confirmed that Trump had clearly stated his intention to see Israel’s genocidal war in the Palestinian coastal territory resolved before his swearing-in. “Yes, he made that clear,” the PM said.

“We had heard this from his team, at least, as I recall the conversations that I had with them, that they want this to be resolved now,” he said.

As a central figure in the negotiations, the Qatari prime minister said he prefers not to share many details about this issue in order to protect the efforts being made in this regard.

“We are trying our best. We’ve been doing our utmost,” he said.

“We hope to get over this situation before the president (Trump) comes to the office, because we have priorities to stabilize the situation and restore regional security,” he added.

Previous mediation efforts led by the US, Egypt, and Qatar to reach a Gaza ceasefire and prisoner swap agreement between Israel and the Hamas Movement have failed over Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s refusal to halt the war, which has claimed the lives of some 45,000 Palestinians, wounded over 105,000 others and displaced almost two million people.

Analysts say the death toll reported by Palestinian authorities in Gaza and considered reliable by the UN, is a cautious estimate and the actual death toll could be around 200,000.

Thursday 5-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

“The delegation conveyed the Movement’s approval of the proposal submitted by Egypt on the formation of the Community Support Committee through inclusive national mechanisms”, Hamas added.

On December 3, the French News Agency quoted a Hamas official as saying that the Community Support Committee will take over the administration of the Gaza Strip in coordination with the Palestinian government in Ramallah.

Prisoner rights organizations reveal new location for detaining, torturing Gazan detainees

Thursday 5-December-2024

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

Palestinian human rights organizations have revealed that the Israeli occupation apartheid regime continues to establish new detention camps for the kidnapped Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, estimated to be in the thousands, with the latest being “Naftali Camp.”

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society stated in a joint press release that the occupation holds between 80 to 90 detainees from the Gaza Strip at “Naftali Camp,” based on testimonies from detainees who were recently visited.

The joint statement indicated that this camp is among several that the occupation has either newly established or repurposed after the war started, in light of the ongoing mass arrest campaigns that have affected thousands from Gaza.

The rights organizations pointed out that based on all recent visits to various camps where Gazan detainees are held, the conditions of detention are similar.

They added, “All those who were visited spoke at length about the interrogation period, where they all experienced systematic torture and shared shocking and horrifying accounts.”

The rights organizations clarified, “Occupation soldiers employed all means and methods of torture, turning everything in the prison structure into a tool for torturing and mistreating the prisoners.”

A lawyer who visited three detainees at “Naftali Camp” noted that the visit was accompanied by an Israeli soldier from the moment of entering the camp until the visit concluded.

He continued, “A container was designated as the space for the visit, divided into two halves, containing a closed plastic window without a phone and without lighting. If the door is closed, the lawyer cannot see the prisoner.”

Thursday 5-December-2024

TOULKARM, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has mourned prisoner Mu'hammed Al-'Aarif,, who was martyred on Wednesday evening in an Israeli jail as a result of his exposure to severe torture and abuse at the hands of Israeli jailers and interrogators.

In a statement, Hamas described the death of 'Aarif in detention as a crime that the Israeli occupation would pay dearly for, holding the Israeli government, especially its minister Itamar Ben Gvir, fully responsible for the criminal practices that happen in Israeli prisons.

'Hamas called for urgent action to save the lives of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, saying they “are facing systematic torture and repression.”

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs said on Wednesday that prisoner Mu'hammed Al-'Aarif, a 45-year-old from Nour Shams refugee camp, was martyred in an Israeli jail.

Civil defense: International organizations refuse to supply fuel in the humanitarian area

Thursday 5-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has warned of a complete halt to the services and humanitarian interventions it provides to displaced citizens in the area that the Israeli occupation claims is “humanitarian” in southern Gaza.

Dr. Mu'hammed Al-Mugheer, Director of Supply and Equipment at the Civil Defense, said that “international organizations have refused to supply us with fuel since the beginning of the brutal Israeli aggression in Gaza, claiming that the Israeli occupation blocked the entry of fuel shipments.”

He emphasized that the Civil Defense is suffering from severe crisis due to the refusal of international organizations to provide fuel in the designated “humanitarian area” in southwestern Gaza, criticizing these organizations’ claims in this regard.

Al-Mugheer confirmed that Civil Defense teams are still providing humanitarian services throughout Gaza with minimal available resources and capabilities. He reiterated that they continue to call for the necessary fuel supply to operate their vehicles and fulfill their humanitarian duties, noting that 13 firefighting and rescue vehicles have ceased operation this week in the southern region, out of a total of 22 for the same reason.

He warned the UN organizations and the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs that the continued prevention of fuel supply to the Civil Defense threatens the lives of thousands of displaced persons affected by the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The Israeli occupation army has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023 with unlimited American support, resulting in approximately 150,000 Palestinian casualties, most of whom are children and women, along with over 11,000 missing persons, amidst massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of dozens of children and elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Amnesty International: Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza

Thursday 5-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Amnesty International said in a new report published on Thursday that its research has found sufficient basis to conclude that Israel has committed and is continuing to commit genocide against Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip.

Amnesty International’s report, ‘You Feel Like You Are Subhuman’: Israel’s Genocide Against Palestinians in Gaza”, documents how, during its military offensive launched on 7 October 2023, Israel has unleashed hell and destruction on Palestinians in Gaza brazenly, continuously and with total impunity.

Agnès Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International, said “Amnesty International’s report demonstrates that Israel has carried out acts prohibited under the Genocide Convention, with the specific intent to destroy Palestinians in Gaza.”

“These acts include killings, causing serious bodily or mental harm and deliberately inflicting on Palestinians in Gaza conditions of life calculated to bring about their physical destruction. Month after month, Israel has treated Palestinians in Gaza as a subhuman group unworthy of human rights and dignity, demonstrating its intent to physically destroy them,” she added.

“Our damning findings must serve as a wake-up call to the international community: this is genocide. It must stop now,” she underscored.

She stressed that the “States that continue to transfer arms to Israel at this time must know they are violating their obligation to prevent genocide and are at risk of becoming complicit in genocide. All states with influence over Israel, particularly key arms suppliers like the USA and Germany, but also other EU member states, the UK and others, must act now to bring Israel’s atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza to an immediate end.”

The report shows that over the past two months the crisis has grown particularly acute in the North Gaza governorate, where a besieged population is facing starvation, displacement and annihilation amid relentless bombardment and suffocating restrictions on life-saving humanitarian aid.

Amnesty International’s report examines in detail Israel’s violations in Gaza over nine months between 7 October 2023 and early July 2024.

The organization interviewed 212 people, including Palestinian victims and witnesses, local authorities in Gaza, healthcare workers, conducted fieldwork and analyzed an extensive range of visual and digital evidence, including satellite imagery.

The report also mentions that Amnesty International also analyzed statements by senior Israeli government and military officials, and official Israeli bodies, noting that on multiple occasions, the organization shared its findings with the Israeli authorities but had received no substantive response at the time of publication.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
