While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

The Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip: 30 Palestinians killed, 99 injured, in 24 hours

GAZA, December 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 30 Palestinians and the injury of 99 others, according to medical reports.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023 has risen to 45,514 reported fatalities, with an additional 108,189 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

According to the same sources, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.

Israel's genocidal onslaught continues unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Israeli genocidal war on Gaza enters Day 450

Sunday 29-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 450th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army carried out attacks on several homes, civilian targets and shelter centers in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.

The Israeli army’s large-scale genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalya and Bait Lahya, has entered day 86, where its forces continue to intensively bomb homes and shelters and attack civilians while imposing a tight siege on the entire area.

Deliberate Israeli attacks on ambulance and civil defense workers already deprived northern Gaza of any rescue services.

Local sources said that the Israeli army bombed the upper floor of Al-Wafa Hospital in Gaza City, killing seven people and injuring others, some seriously.

In central Gaza, an Israeli quadcopter bombed a civilian car near Al-Sawar'ha cemetery in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, killing one citizen and injuring others.

An infant also died of hypothermia in a displacement camp in southern Gaza due to low temperatures, according to medical sources.

A man and his wife were martyred following an Israeli attack on a house in northern Rafa'h, south of Gaza.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

In a related context, the health ministry in Gaza said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, and killed and injured at least 129 civilians, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

Fifth Palestinian baby freezes to death in Gaza amid ongoing Israeli genocide

GAZA, December 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

A baby died early this morning in Gaza due to extreme cold temperatures, marking the fifth infant fatality in less than a week, with thousands of families forced to live in makeshift tents amid the ongoing Israeli genocide.

The baby, identified as Jum'a Al-Batran, was only one month old. He passed away, and his twin brother Ali's condition worsened from the cold, as they were living in a tent in Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza.

According to medical sources, the freezing temperatures have led to the deaths of four other newborns in the past few days, with ages ranging from 4 to 21 days old. These infants died from the extreme cold, compounded by a dire lack of resources in the besieged region.

In addition to the tragic loss of life, medical sources report a rise in illnesses among children, exacerbated by food insecurity among mothers. This has led to more severe health conditions in an already strained healthcare environment, as Gaza’s residents continue to endure the harshest conditions.

Israeli occupation forces have killed at least 46,000 Palestinians in Gaza since 7 October last year, according to the latest figures from the local health authorities. The majority of those killed are women and children.

Dozens more have died due to the harsh conditions imposed by the Israeli army, including starvation, lack of medical care and hypothermia.

Seven civilians killed, including women and children, in new Israeli massacre in Gaza's Bait 'Hanoun

GAZA, December 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

Seven civilians, including women and children, were killed and others were injured on Sunday in a new Israeli massacre in Bait 'Hanoun in northern Gaza.

WAFA correspondent reported that seven civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the home of the Shabat family in Bait 'Hanoun.

Israeli Quadcopter drones also resumed firing, targeting the Al-Mufti area north of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp.

WAFA correspondent confirmed that one civilian was injured by Israeli gunfire targeting homes in the western part of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp. Residents also sent appeals for medical teams to rush to the camp after an Israeli attack targeted the Abu Salmiya family's home, causing several injuries

Furthermore, heavy artillery shelling struck a large number of homes in the central Nazla neighborhood of Jabalya, in the north.

The Israeli occupation‘s relentless aggression on Gaza by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 45,514 civilians and the injury of 108,189 others, including a significant number of children and women.

This toll remains incomplete, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or scattered along the roads, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews due to the relentless Israeli shelling and massive amount of debris.

Israeli artillery shelling targets Gaza’s Al-Ahli Arab Hospital

GAZA, December 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation military has launched an artillery strike on Al-Ahli 'Arab Hospital (also known as the Baptist Hospital) in Gaza City, continuing its assault on vital medical infrastructure in the region.

The attack on Sunday morning targeted the top floor of the hospital, which had remained operational as the last remaining healthcare facility in northern Gaza following the destruction of Kamal 'Udwan Hospital.

Local sources reported that the Israeli artillery directly hit the top floor of the hospital, causing further damage to the building. This attack is part of a broader pattern of Israeli forces' bombardment of medical facilities in Gaza, especially in the northern areas, where healthcare infrastructure has been decimated.

Just days earlier, on Friday, Israeli occupation forces stormed Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the neighboring city of Bait Lahya, setting it on fire and sending it out of service. Over 350 people inside, including hospital staff, patients, and relatives, were forcibly removed from the hospital by Israeli forces and taken to an unknown location. This included the hospital’s director, Dr. 'Husam Abu Safiya, 180 medical personnel, and 75 patients and their companions.

Since the beginning of the Israeli assault on the northern Gaza Strip in early October, combined with an ongoing siege, the region’s healthcare system has been severely impacted. The bombardments, which have targeted hospitals and emergency medical services, have left the health sector nearly non-functional, further exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation.

Palestinian prisoner Ashraf Abu Warda, from Gaza, dies in Israeli detention

GAZA, December 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

Fifty-one-year-old Palestinian detainee Ashraf Mu'hammed Fakhri Abu Warda, who was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces from Gaza, died in mysterious circumstances in the Israeli Soroka hospital.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) announced that they were informed of Abu Warda's death after he was transferred from Naqab Prison to Soroka Hospital on December 27, 2024. He had been detained since November 20, 2023, and, according to his family, had not suffered from any pre-existing health issues.

In a joint statement, the commission and the PPS confirmed that with Abu Warda’s death, the number of fatalities among Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails has risen to 50 since the beginning of the ongoing genocide. This marks the highest number of fatalities in the history of Palestinian prisoners, making this period the deadliest in the history of the prisoners' movement since 1967.

The statement described Abu Warda’s death as a new crime in the Israeli system of brutality, which has reached its peak since the start of the ongoing genocide. The commission and the PPS emphasized that the treatment of prisoners is another face of the genocide, with the intent to carry out more executions and targeted killings of detainees.

They warned that the number of victims among prisoners will continue to rise, exacerbated by the ongoing conditions of systematic torture, hunger, assaults, medical neglect, sexual violence, and the deliberate imposition of conditions that lead to severe and contagious diseases, along with unprecedented levels of theft and deprivation.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the PPS held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for Abu Warda's death. They renewed their call for the international human rights system to take decisive actions to hold Israeli leaders accountable for war crimes and to impose sanctions that would isolate Israel on the international stage.

They also urged the international community to restore the primary role of human rights organizations and put an end to the exceptional immunity granted to Israel by colonial powers, which has placed Israel above accountability.

DOHA, (PIC)

The Qatari Prime Minister and foreign minister Mu'hammed bin Abdul-Ra'hman discussed yesterday with a high-level delegation from the Hamas Movement led by senior official Khaleel Al-'Hayya the latest developments regarding the ceasefire talks over Gaza.

In a statement on Saturday, the Qatari foreign ministry said that the prime minister explored avenues to advance the ceasefire talks during a meeting with a Hamas delegation in order to reach a clear and comprehensive agreement that ends the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.

Last Wednesday, the 'Hamas Movement said that the recent ceasefire and prisoner exchange talks held in Doha was delayed due to new Israeli conditions.

In a brief statement, Hamas said it was flexible and responsible during the current ceasefire and prisoner exchange negotiations in Doaha, which were also mediated by Cairo.

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, has called for sending UN observers to Gaza’s remaining hospitals to refute the Israeli lies and false claims that they are used for military purposes.

“The criminal Zionist occupation army’s systematic targeting and destruction of the medical facilities and hospitals — the latest example of which was the burning and bombing of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza — places a historical responsibility on the shoulders of the UN and the international community for their failure to stop the war of extermination and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people,” 'Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.

'Hamas urged the UN and relevant international organizations to urgently intervene to protect the remaining hospitals and medical facilities in northern Gaza and provide them with their needs.

'Hamas denies Israeli claims regarding the assassination of Haniyya

Sunday 29-December-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, denied the lies propagated by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime regarding the assassination of the Movement’s political bureau chief, the late Isma'eel Haniyya. Israel alleged that the operation was carried out using a bomb planted in his room at the official Iranian guesthouse in the capital, Tehran.

'Hamas confirmed in a statement on Sunday that “the investigations conducted by the joint committee between its security apparatus and the Iranian security apparatus concluded that the assassination was carried out using a guided missile weighing 7.5 kilograms of explosives, which directly targeted the late martyr’s mobile phone.”

The Movement considered the Israeli claims to be “a desperate attempt to divert attention from the complex crime, which violated the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with a missile that targeted one of its official premises.”

Haniyya and his companion, Waseem Abu Sha'ban, were martyred in an assassination operation targeting him at his location in the Iranian capital Tehran at the end of July 2024, after he participated in the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian president.

Last Monday, the Israeli minister of war Yisrael Katz acknowledged the assassination of martyr Isma'eel Haniyya for the first time by an Israeli official. Katz’s remarks came in a speech broadcast by the Israeli broadcasting authority, in which he threatened to assassinate the leaders of the Ansar Allah group in Yemen, saying, “We will sever the heads of their leaders as we did with the leaders of 'Hamas and 'Hizbullah: Isma'eel Haniyya, Ya'hya Al-Sinwar, and 'Hasan Nasrullah.”

75,000 Palestinians trapped in northern Gaza face imminent danger, WHO warns

GENEVA, December 29, 2024 (WAFA) –

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned about the life-threatening situation faced by 75,000 Palestinians trapped in northern Gaza, who have been under an Israeli military blockade for more than 80 days. The organization said the ongoing Israeli siege has left the lives of these civilians at extreme risk.

The WHO expressed shock over the recent Israeli attack that targeted the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, taking the last remaining major healthcare facility in northern Gaza out of service. This attack has left tens of thousands of people in the area without access to critical medical care amid ongoing hostilities.

Since October 5, 2024, Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out systematic attacks on the northern Gaza regions, including the Jabalya refugee camp and the towns of Bait 'Hanoun and Bait Lahya, with an estimated 80,000 Palestinians currently trapped in these areas. The siege has resulted in over 4,000 Palestinians killed or missing, along with 12,000 injured and 1,750 detained.

In addition to these attacks, Israeli artillery shelled the upper floors of the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in eastern Gaza City this early morning, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.

land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
