While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Ya'hya Al-Sinwar named new 'Hamas leader, replacing Martyr Isma'eel Haniyya

Tuesday 6-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

'Hamas on Tuesday named Ya'hya Al-Sinwar as its new political bureau chairman, replacing Martyr Isma'eel Haniyya who was assassinated in Tehran last week.

The 'Hamas Movement announced in a terse statement that Al-Sinwar, who was its leader in Gaza, would replace Haniyya as the supreme leader of the Movement.

Since 2017, Al-Sinwar has served as the Movement’s leader in the Gaza Strip. He will now become leader of its political wing.

Al-Sinwar, who was born in October 1962, spent 22 years of his life in Israeli occupation regime prison – and after his third arrest in 1988 he was sentenced to four life terms in prison.

However, he was among 1,027 prisoners released by Israel in 2011 in exchange for an Israeli occupation soldier held captive for over five years by 'Hamas.

He later returned to his position as a prominent leader in Hamas and was appointed head of the Movement’s political bureau in the Gaza Strip in 2017.

Türkiye joins South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the ICJ

Wednesday 7-August-2024

THE HAGUE, (PIC)

Turkiye has officially submitted today, Wednesday, a bid to join the genocide case filed by South Africa against the Israeli occupation apartheid regime at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The Chairman of the Turkish Parliament’s Justice Committee, Cuneyt Yuksel, said that his country “will provide evidence of the ethnic cleansing committed by the Israeli army and its massacres in the Gaza Strip,” accusing Israel of using starvation and thirst as a weapon against the population there.

Yuksel added in a press conference before the court that there is conclusive evidence of Israel committing genocide against the Palestinians, stressing his country’s support for the Palestinian cause, and expressing his optimism that the court will be able to force Israel to abide by its resolutions.

Türkiye has the right to submit a declaration to join the case because it is a party to the “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide,” which was adopted by the United Nations in 1948.

Türkiye joins Nicaragua, Colombia, Libya, Mexico, Palestine, and Spain, which previously requested to join South Africa’s case filed at the International Court of Justice on December 29.

The court has set October 28 as the deadline for South Africa to submit its written arguments and July 28, 2025 for Israel to do the same.

Footage shows Israeli soldiers sexually assaulting Palestinian prisoner in Sde Teiman

Wednesday 7-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

A circulated video posted by the Israeli Channel 12 shows Israeli occupation soldiers sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee in Sde Teiman detention center in the Negev desert.

The Israeli channel 12 said, “The prisoner was subjected to sexual torture and assault from the soldiers who used shields to hide from surveillance cameras.”

Israeli occupation forces conducted a formal trial of the soldiers, as the video sparked a state of anger and shock among social media users who described the incident as a major scandal.

Bloggers and social media activists said it is a new crime added to the Israeli soldiers’ record of crimes in the notorious Sde Teiman detention center.

A blogger indicated that there are hundreds of unrevealed similar offensives and violations carried out by Israeli occupation soldiers against the Palestinian detainees from Gaza and the West Bank.

Israel's Supreme Court resumes hearing petition to close Israel's notorious Sde Teiman detention camp

TEL AVIV, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Supreme Court of Israel today resumed hearing a petition filed in May by five Israeli human rights organizations to close Israel's notorious Sde Teiman detention camp due to acts of torture and sexual assault against Palestinian detainees from the Gaza Strip.

Today, Israeli media circulated a video documenting the incident of Israeli occupation soldiers sexually assaulting a detainee from Gaza in the said prison.

The Israeli Channel 12 published the internal cameras’ documentation in the prison, which is under the responsibility of the occupation army, of the assault on the detainee whose identity has not yet been revealed.

The video documentation, the date of which and how it reached the channel were not specified, shows several occupation soldiers choosing a detainee from among more than 30 detainees who were lying on the ground in the prison yard with their eyes covered.

Researcher and activist in the field of human rights and prisoners' issues, and lawyer in the legal department of the Committee Against Torture, Janan Abdo, said during an interview with WAFA that based on what the detainees described, the area of the detention camp is not large. It includes buildings and animal pens surrounded by nets; each building occupies an area of 20 meters and contains between 120-130 detainees.

She cited the testimony of one of the released detainees, stating that he spent 52 consecutive days in the said detention camp, where his leg was amputated due to violence, beatings and medical negligence. The detainee said he was given a choice between having his leg amputated or losing his life. He was released back to Gaza following the amputation.

Abdo explained that the detainees were not brought before a judge until about 70 days later through a soldier's phone screen, while the judge on the other side informed them that they would remain in detention until the end of the war.

The Center for the Defense of Liberties and Civil Rights "Hurriyat" confirmed that Sde Teiman camp is witnessing systematic brutal torture programs in which all methods of torture are used, including electricity, dogs, beatings, and shackling in handcuffs on a permanent and continuous basis.

The center indicated that some of the detainees are transferred after being subjected to various forms of severe torture to the Anatot camp next to the town of Anata or to the Ofer prison, where they are subjected to further and continuous torture.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 306

Wednesday 7-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 306 on Wednesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, three civilians were martyred and others were injured when the Israeli occupation army bombed at dawn an apartment belonging to the family of 'Hamada in Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood in the east of Gaza City.

The Israeli army occupation forces also bombed in the afternoon tents sheltering displaced families in 'Abasan Al-Kabeera town, east of Khan Younus, killing six people and injuring others.

Another Israeli airstrike on a house near Al-Ramla School in the east of Gaza City claimed the lives of four citizens.

A young man was reportedly killed following an Israeli artillery attack on the eastern area of Al-Buraij refugee camp in central Gaza.

A woman was also killed and others were wounded in an artillery attack on a charitable food distribution point in Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younus.

One citizen was martyred following an Israeli attack on an area near the Abul-'Auf factory in Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Day 306 of Genocide: Israeli forces kill three Palestinians in bombing of residential apartment

GAZA, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 (WAFA) –

Three Palestinian civilians were killed and others were injured at dawn today after the Israeli occupation bombed a residential apartment east of Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent reported that the bombing targeted an apartment belonging to the family of Ahmed Hamada, next to Yaffa School in Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood east of Gaza, where he was killed along with his wife and their son.

The occupation forces also opened fire on citizens' homes east of Al-Buraij camp in the central Gaza Strip, which resulted in the injury of a number of citizens, who were subsequently transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Dair El-Bala'h in the central Gaza Strip.

The occupation boats bombed the area around Wadi Gaza Bridge northwest of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli occupation warplanes bombed a house on Salah al-Din Street at the entrance to Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, while the occupation artillery fired its shells towards the neighborhoods of Tel Al-Hawa and Al-Zaytoun in Gaza City.

The occupation warplanes raided the city of Dair El-Bala'h in the central Gaza Strip, and the eastern part of the city of Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli artillery bombed the area around Shaikh Zayid Towers east of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, and the area west of the city of Rafa'h in the southern Gaza Strip.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed in a report yesterday that the bombing and hostilities continue to kill, injure and displace Palestinians, and destroy infrastructure.

The UN office stated that during the past 48 hours, three schools housing displaced persons in Gaza were bombed, resulting in dozens of casualties.

The number of people killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023, has surged to 39,653. Some 91,535 others have been wounded.

Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams are facing tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the relentless Israeli shelling.

Casualty data in Gaza are incomplete due to the intensive Israeli aggression, the repeated and complete interruption of communication and internet services, devastated infrastructure and massive debris, and the lack of fuel and heavy machinery; which render it difficult to document figures.

Four Palestinians injured, many others kidnapped by the IOFs in the West Bank

Wednesday 7-August-2024

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) injured four Palestinian citizens and kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) last night and on Wednesday morning.

According to local sources, three young citizens, including a 17-year-old teenager, were injured by IOFs gunfire during clashes between local youths and Israeli occupation forces in Bait Fureek town, east of Nablus.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed Balata refugee camp in Nablus, attacked local youths with live ammunition, tear gas canisters and stun grenades, raided homes and detonated a headquarters belonging to the Fat'h Movement.

A similar IOFs raid took place in the Old City of Nablus, with no reported kidnappings.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), a young man was injured by IOFs gunfire during clashes with local youths in Al-Duhaisha refugee camp.

The IOF reportedly kidnapped from the camp the father and two brothers of martyr Mu'hamed 'Hammash, who was shot dead yesterday after he stabbed and lightly injured an Israeli soldier at the Tunnel checkpoint in southern Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Another young man was kidnaped by the IOFs from his home in Daw'ha town, west of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

Two Palestinians sustain injuries from Israeli occupation army gunfire in Al-Khaleel (Hebron),

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Wednesday, August 07, 2024 (WAFA) –

Two Palestinians today sustained injuries from Israeli occupation army gunfire in the southern occupied West Bank city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to WAFA correspondent.

He said Israeli occupation forces stormed the Jabal Abu Rumman neighborhood in Hebron and fired live ammunition and rubber-coated steel bullets towards the neighborhood residents, injuring a 14-year-old minor in the head and a youth in the foot.

The gun-toting soldiers brutally assaulted and detained a youth in the course of the raid.

Israeli occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids, which take place also in areas under the full control of the State of Palestine, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Israeli occupation forces demolish building under construction near Nablus

NABLUS, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Wednesday demolished the building of Furush Bait Dajan village council, east of Nablus.

The head of the village council, 'Aazim Haj Mu'hammed, told WAFA that the occupation forces, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed the village and demolished the village council building, which was still under construction.

The building consists of two floors and has an area of 300 square meters, he said, adding that it was built with funding from the European Union.

Since the beginning of the Israeli comprehensive aggression against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, and in parallel with the unprecedented destruction of homes, buildings and facilities in the Strip, the demolition of citizens' homes has escalated, especially in Area C, which is under full Israeli military control and constitutes about 60% of the West Bank.

During July, the occupation authorities carried out 98 demolition operations, affecting 135 facilities, including 62 inhabited homes, 14 uninhabited ones and 12 agricultural facilities.

They also issued notifications ordering the demolition of 16 other homes and facilities in the West Bank governorates, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.
