Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry:

By August 3, 2024, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 46,550+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (39,550), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 7,000+). 

By August 3, 2024, the documented injuries exceeded 91,280.

By August 3, 2024, 594 Palestinians who were killed, 5,293 who were injured, and 9,920, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023, including 310 women and 640 children (Some of the detainees have been released).

By July 12, 2024, the Palestinian death toll in Gaza included 16,054+ children and 10,700 women (69.7% of the total). The death toll also included 500 doctors and medical staff, 158 journalists, and 75 civil defense workers.

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. Global reactions to hoisting red flag of revenge in Iran after Haniyya's martyrdom

After the assassination of Isma'eel Haniyya by the Zionist regime, the flag of Jamkaran Mosque, near Qom, changed to red with the words "Ya Lathārāt Al-Husain" meaning "O avengers of Al-'Husain's blood".

Hoisting of a red flag in Iran has caused numerous reactions in the world. Pars Today, quoting from Fars News, reported that the American media, Washington Examiner, wrote, "Iran has hoisted the red flag of revenge and promised that it will avenge the assassination of the Hamas leader."

This American media reiterated that this flag is rarely hoisted and said that one of the cases was after the assassination of Qasem Soleimani.

The French, Le Monde, as a famous European daily, also wrote, "A red flag has been hoisted over Jamkaran Mosque, which is a holy place for Shias, since Wednesday. This move is a symbol of "Great Revenge" after the assassination of Isma'eel Haniyya, the Hamas leader, in Tehran which is attributed to Israel. This flag had already been hoisted in 2020 after the martyrdom of the Iranian general, Qasem Soleimani."

New Arab media, based in London, stated on the event, "Iran hoisted the red flag of revenge after the assassination of Isma'eel Haniyya because Ayatollah Khamenei issued the order of attacking Israel."

The Egyptian daily, Egypt Independent, too, wrote on the issue, "What consequences does it have to hoist a red flag in Iran after the assassination of Isma'eel Haniyya?" It added, "Iran has hoisted the red flag for the hard battle on the way. In the Shia school, a red flag symbolizes the bloods which have been shed unjustly and is the call of revenge for martyrs. In the ancient Iranian traditions, a red flag was hoisted on the door of a person who had been killed and it wouldn't be taken down till taking revenge."

The Indian, Kashmir Observer, was another newspaper which wrote on the issue, "Iran hoisted the red flag of revenge. After the promise of harsh punishment by the Leader of Iran for Israel in revenge for the assassination of Isma'eel Haniyya, a red flag was hoisted over the great Jamkaran Mosque in Qom. The last time that this flag had appeared was during Iran's unprecedented missile and drone attack to Israel."

Wionews, was another Indian media which touched upon the issue in a breaking news, "Iran hoisted the red flag over Jamkaran Mosque and promised to avenge Haniyya's blood."

The Bengali daily, Business Standard, too, wrote, "Iran hoisted the red flag of revenge and promised to avenge the assassination of Hamas leader."

The British media, Colorado Politic, in a similar note, wrote, "Iran has hoisted the red flag of revenge and promised to avenge the assassination of Hamas leader."

Hoisting the red flag has also drawn the attention of the Zionist account "Mossad Commentary" on twitter. The official page of Globe Eye News also pointed to the event as the symbol of revenge.

These reactions are shown while the Zionist regime is in full alert as it is highly scared of the imminent retaliatory attacks of the resistance groups and their allies for martyrdom of their great figures during the recent days.

The Zionist regime media reported on Friday night that all Israeli hospitals are in full alert for Iran's possible attack.

Meanwhile, some of the Zionist media claimed on the likely Iranian retaliatory attack to the Occupied Territories, "According to the estimates, Iran will launch huge missiles."

These media also claimed, "Israeli estimates reveal that the Iranian attack will include blocking the communication system in Israel."

Horror and concern loom over Zionists due to Iran's revenge while the minister of war of the regime, Yoav Gallant, called for shaping of a coalition to protect the fake regime as he is scared of the smashing attacks of the resistance axis.

Isma'eel Haniyya, Chairman of the political bureau of Hamas, and one of his bodyguards were martyred in early hours of Wednesday in Tehran during a terrorist operation perpetrated by the Zionist regime.

Firing a projectile with a 7-kilogram warhead during the assassination of Martyr Haniyya

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement detailing the assassination of Martyr Isma'eel Haniyya.

According to the Tasnim News Agency, the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Communiqué No. 3 on the terrorist crime of the Zionist regime in the martyrdom of Dr. Isma'eel Haniyya, the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), emphasized: "According to the investigations and investigations carried out, this terrorist operation was carried out by firing a short-range projectile with a warhead of about 7 kilograms, along with a strong explosion, from outside the area of the guests' residence."

The text of the announcement is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful , following the terrorist act of the criminal Zionist regime that led to the martyrdom of the noble martyr Isma'eel Haniyya, the head of the Mujahideen and the brave head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), and his companion, the Iranian nation;

‎Iran: "Isma'eel Haniyya" was assassinated by a seven-kilogram shell‎

‎Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement on Saturday that Isma'eel Haniyya, head of the 'Hamas political bureau, was assassinated in Tehran by a short-range shell with a warhead weighing about seven kilograms.‎

‎The statement, which accused the "reckless and terrorist Zionist regime" of being behind Isma'eel Haniyya's assassination, said Tehran's retaliation would be "harsh, at the right time and place and in the appropriate manner."‎

‎"Haniyya's assassination was planned and executed by Israel and with American support," the statement added.‎

‎Isma'eel Haniyya, head of Hamas' political bureau, was laid to rest on Friday in Qatar, after being assassinated two days ago in the Iranian capital, Tehran.‎

‎Iran, as well as 'Hamas, accused Israel of assassinating Haniyya and vowed revenge. Israel has not claimed responsibility for his death, but has not denied it either.‎

‎Haniyeh's body was buried in a cemetery in Lusail City after a funeral ceremony at the Imam Mu'hammed Bin Abdul Wahab mosque in the Qatari capital, Doha.‎

‎Haniyya's coffin, draped in the Palestinian flag, was carried at the Imam Mu'hammed Bin Abdul Wahhab mosque past hundreds of mourners along with the coffin of his bodyguard, Waseem Abu Sha'ban, who was also killed in the Wednesday attack in Tehran.‎

‎Among the mourners were Khalid Mish'al, the former 'Hamas leader, the Emir of Qatar, Shaikh Tameem Bin 'Hamad Al-Thani, and other senior 'Hamas leaders.‎

‎In a speech at the mosque where Haniyya's body was laid to perform funeral prayers, Mish'al said Haniyya's martyrdom would only increase the movement's determination to continue its struggle for the liberation of Palestine.‎

‎"There is no compromise, no compromise on principles, no recognition of Israel."‎

‎In a video released by 'Hamas, Mish'al said: "Palestine will remain from its sea to its river and from north to south, and there will be no place for the Zionists on the land of Palestine, no matter how many they kill of us."‎

‎He described Haniyya's death as a major loss for the movement but would not change course.‎

‎"Our enemies are not learning the lesson, they killed our leaders 100 years ago, so what happened? Whenever a leader is elevated (in martyrdom), a leader comes out."‎

‎Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior 'Hamas leader, told Reuters by telephone as he attended the funeral today: "Our message to the occupation (regime) today is that you are drowning in the mud and your end is closer than ever and Haniyya's blood will change all equations."‎

‎Khaleel Al-'Hayya, a senior 'Hamas official, told a news conference in the Iranian capital, citing witnesses accompanying Haniyya, that he was killed by a rocket that directly targeted him at an Iranian government guesthouse where he was staying in Tehran.‎

Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling hit southern Lebanon

Israeli warplanes and drones resumed their strikes today, accompanied by intense artillery shelling, targeting several towns in southern Lebanon.

According to our correspondent, Israeli warplanes and drones carried out a series of intense attacks targeting the towns of 'Ayta Al-Sha'b, Haula, Tayr 'Harfa, and Bazouriya. 

Additionally, an Israeli strike hit a civilian vehicle near the Lebanese-Syrian border, resulting in several injuries. The area is also experiencing ongoing reconnaissance and military aircraft activity.

UNOSAT: Due to the continuous Israeli genocidal war, the debris of Gaza war is 14 times more than all debris of other conflicts since 2008

The recent conflict in the Gaza Strip has produced a volume of debris that is 14 times greater than the combined total from all conflicts over the past 16 years, the United Nations Satellite Center (UNOSAT) said in a new report.

The analysis, using satellite imagery analysis provided by UNOSAT, offers a detailed view of the extensive destruction and its implications for debris management.

UNOSAT’s latest damage building assessment, based on satellite imagery from July 6, 2024, and updated building footprints from May 2023, reveals that 151,265 structures have been affected in the Gaza Strip.

Of these, 30% were destroyed, 12% severely damaged, 36% moderately damaged, and 20% possibly damaged, representing approximately 63% of the total structures in the region.

For each square meter in the Gaza Strip, this recent analysis estimates that 114 kilograms of debris were generated.

The impact on civilian infrastructure is evident, with thousands of homes and essential facilities being damaged.

Earlier, the UN said that clearing the Gaza Strip of the rubble caused by the deadly Israeli offensive will take about 15 years.

UNRWA expresses concern over ‘frightening increase’ in hepatitis cases in Gaza, due to the continuous Israeli genocidal war on Gaza

The head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) on Friday expressed concern over a “frightening increase” in hepatitis A cases in the Gaza Strip.

“People in Gaza are facing yet another peril: Hepatitis A is spreading, including among children,” Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of UNRWA, posted on X.

He noted that since Israel began its war on Gaza, the agency has reported nearly 40,000 cases in its shelters and clinics, against only 85 in the same period before the war.

“This is a frightening increase,” he warned.

Lazzarini attributed this rapid increase to the collapsed waste management system. “Piles of trash are accumulating in the scorching summer heat. Sewage discharges on the streets while people queue for hours just to go to the toilets.”

“All combined make a dangerous recipe for diseases to spread,” he added.

'Izzat Al-Rishiq: Banishing Shaikh Sabri from Al-Aqsa Mosque violates religious freedom

The 'Hamas political bureau member 'Izzat Al-Rishiq has condemned the Israeli police’s decision to banish Shaikh 'Ikrima Sabri, head of the Higher Islamic Council in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), from Al-Aqsa Mosque as “blatant interference in the Mosque’s affairs” and a “violation against freedom of religion.”

In a brief statement on Friday, Al-Rishiq described Shaikh Sabri as “one of the most important Palestinian religious figures,” holding the Israeli occupation authority fully responsible for any harm coming to him in light of his exposure to an Israeli incitement campaign.

The Israeli police kidnapped Shaikh Sabri from his home in Jerusalem for mourning and eulogizing the martyr Isma'eel Haniyya, the Political Bureau Chairman of the 'Hamas Movement, during his Friday khutba (sermon) he delivered at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Later, the police released him on condition of not entering Al-Aqsa Mosque until next Sunday, threatening to extend his banishment from the holy site for an additional six months.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 39,550 martyrs

The health ministry in Gaza said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 31 civilians and injuring over 62 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 93 of them, including 31 martyrs, were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 39,550 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 91,280 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Israeli airstrike hits school-turn-shelter in Gaza, killing and mounding many

GAZA, Saturday, August 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

An Israeli airstrike targeted a school housing displaced people in Gaza City this afternoon, resulting in multiple casualties among the displaced families sheltered inside the school.

WAFA correspondent reported that at least 10 civilians, including children, were killed in the attack on the school located in Al-Shaikh Radhwan neighborhood in western Gaza City. Many others sustained various injuries as a result of the deadly attack.

This incident marks a troubling continuation of Israel’s attacks on schools sheltering displaced families, with previous strikes having caused significant loss of life. The current Israeli military onslaught, which has persisted for over 302 days, has seen numerous similar attacks.

The most recent prior incident occurred last Thursday, when an Israeli airstrike on a school-turned-shelter in Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood resulted in the killing of 15 people.

The ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 39,550 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 91,280 others injured. Thousands of victims are also estimated to be buried under the rubble.

US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters Day 302

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 302 on Saturday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours.

According to media sources, civil defense and medical crews evacuated two martyrs from a street in Al-Qarara town in the east of Khan Younus, south of Gaza.

Two other citizens were martyred and another one was injured when an Israeli drone fired a missile at them in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

Five citizens, including three women and a girl child, were killed when the Israeli army bombed a house in Miraj area in the north of Rafa'h.

An Israeli warplane also bombed a house belonging to the family of Al-Jadili in Al-Buraij refugee camp in central Gaza, killing two civilians.

More casualties were reported in other areas of Gaza following Israeli aerial, artillery and shooting attacks last night and today.

Child among five Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on Khan Younus

KHAN YOUNES, Saturday, August 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

An Israeli occupation airstrike on the city of Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip today killed five Palestinians, including a child, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli fighter jets targeted a house belonging to the Abu 'Hasna family at the Miraj area, located between the cities of Khan Younus and Rafa'h, killing five family members, including a child and three women.

Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafa'h, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least 39,480 Palestinians, mostly children and women, and injuring over 91,128 others, by August 1, 2024 .

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

The Palestinian volunteer field paramedic, Tamir Jalal Mu'hammed Saqr, 21, was martyred on Friday of serious wounds he sustained a week ago in an Israeli drone shelling on Balata refugee camp east of Nablus city.

Last Saturday afternoon, the young man Lu-ay Mu'hammed Masha, 18, was martyred and others were injured, including martyr Saqr, after Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) had stormed the Balata camp and targeted a number of young men in a drone attack in the Jamaseen neighborhood.

Armed clashes with the IOFs, which repeatedly stormed the camp during the day, had led to the martyrdom of the 24-year-old 'Ali Bassam 'Hashash.

Nine Palestinians martyred in Israeli strikes in northern Toulkarm

Nine Palestinian citizens were martyred on Saturday in separate Israeli drone attacks on cars in Toulkarm in the occupied West Bank.

According to local sources, five Palestinian citizens were martyred in the morning when an Israeli drone bombed a car near Zaita town, northeast of Toulkarm.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out an aerial attack on a car carrying five young men on the road between the towns of 'Atteel and Zaita, killing all of them.

According to medical sources at the Thabit Thabit Hospital, the young men’s bodies were burned and charred beyond recognition, except for one who was identified as 25-year-old Haytham Nouruddeen Balidi from Toulkarm refugee camp.

Following the airstrike, Israeli forces stormed and cordoned off the scene, preventing a civil defense crew and residents from approaching the car to put out the fire.

However, medics and residents managed to transfer the bodies to the hospital.

Soon later, the IOFs stormed the western area of Toulkarm City and bulldozed public and private property, including roads and cars, especially near the Mourabitoun Mosque and the court complex.

Later in the afternoon, a similar drone attack on a car claimed the lives of four other young men in Toulkarm, particularly on a road between Bal’a town and Iktaba suburb.

Local sources identified all the nine victims as resistance fighters from Toulkarm.

Meanwhile, a one-day general strike has been declared in Toulkarm province in mourning for the martyrs.

Five Palestinians injured, 30 others kidnaped by IOFs in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) injured five Palestinian citizens and kidnapped at least 30 others during raids in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the West Bank on Saturday.

According to local sources, Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces stormed Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) district of Al-'Aisawiya and embarked on firing live ammunition, tear gas canisters, stun grenades and skunk water cannons at homes and cars, which provoked violent clashes with local youths.

Four citizens were reportedly injured by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police gunfire in Al-'Aisawiya and transported to al-Maqasid Hospital in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) before police forces encircled the hospital.

Later, the police forces withdrew from Al-'Aisawiya without making kidnappings.

In Ramallah, another young citizen was injured by IOFs gunfire during clashes in 'Abwein town.

The events in 'Abwein started when the Israeli occupation forces raided homes in the town and interrogated local residents.

In Nablus, the IOFs stormed the towns of Jamma’een and Sebastia in the northwest of Nablus and patrolled their streets.

In Bethlehem, the IOFs stormed 'Husan town and kidnapped a teenager from his home.

According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society and the Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs, the IOFs kidnapped at least 30 citizens, including journalists and children, during raids in different West Bank areas.

The kidnappings took place in Jineen, Nablus, Ramallah, Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Toulkarm, Al-Khaleel, Toubas and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

Three Palestinians shot, injured by Israeli occupation forces' live fire in Nablus

NABLUS, Saturday, August 3, 2024 (WAFA) – 

Three Palestinians, including a child, were shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces' bullets during a military incursion into vicinity of Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.

Red Crescent spokesman Ahmed Jibril reported that ambulance crews dealt with three injuries, including a 14-year-old child who was shot by live occupation forces in the thigh. The other causalities sustained injures in the hand and foot.

Meanwhile, all the injured individuals were transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.

The occupation forces also stormed al-Quds Street near Balata camp, sparking confrontations.

Palestinian sustains serious wounds from Israeli army gunfire near Ramallah

A Palestinian today sustained serious injuries from Israeli occupation army gunfire in the 'Abwein town, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.

They said that the occupation forces barged their way into the town, and deployed at the downtown area, triggering confrontations.

The heavily armed soldiers broke into two houses, thoroughly searched them and interrogated the occupants.

They opened fire towards local youths protesting the raid, hitting a 25-year-old youth with a live round in the abdomen.

The casualty was rushed to a hospital in Salfeet for urgent treatment.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

Israeli occupation forces detain 30 Palestinians in West Bank raids

Israeli occupation forces Saturday detained at least 30 Palestinians in multiple -mostly predawn- raids across the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and the Commission for the Detainees and Ex-detainees’ Affairs.

They said in a joint statement that the occupation forces rounded up at least 30 Palestinians, including two journalists, children and former prisoners, from the West Bank governorates of Jineen, Nablus, Ramallah, Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Toulkarm, Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Tubas and al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

They added that in the course of the raids, the soldiers threatened, Physically assaulted detainees along with their families, and sabotaged their property.

As part of the raids, the occupation forces rounded up a Palestinian and ransacked his family house in the Al-Jalazoan refugee camp, north of Ramallah.

In Jerusalem, the occupation forces rounded up another from Al-Toar neighborhood and ransacked his family house, turning it topsy-turvy.

They also detained another from his family house in the Silwan neighborhood, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

In the Nablus governorate, the sources confirmed a raid in Nablus’ eastern and Tal‘at Al-Toar neighborhoods, resulting in the detention of three Palestinians, including a father together with his son.

The occupation soldiers showed up at a house in the 'Aseera L-Shamaliya town, north of Nablus, muscled inside, conducted a thorough search, and eventually detained another.

In the Jenin governorate, the sources confirmed a raid in the Jalqamous village, resulting in the detention of two people.

The soldiers rounded up four people, including a minor, from the Raba village, and ransacked the houses of their families, turning them upside down.

In the southern West Bank, the sources confirmed a raid into the 'Husan village, west of Bethlehem, resulting in the detention of a 16-year-old teenage.

A sizable army force conducted two separate raids in the Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) city and the ad-Doha town, west of the city, leading to the detention of two others.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

According to the latest figures from Al-Dhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 9,700 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 250 child prisoners and 79 female prisoners.

This number includes approximately 3,380 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Al-Dhameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one.

Israeli occupation forces wreak destruction on Palestinian property, infrastructure in Toulkarm

TULKARM, Saturday, August 3, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces dawn Saturday wreaked destruction on Palestinian property and infrastructure in the northern occupied West Bank city of  Toulkarm, according to WAFA correspondent.

She said that a convoy of occupation vehicles, supported by four bulldozers, stormed the city from its western direction and deployed along the road, opposite to al-Murabitoon Mosque.

The occupation forces bulldozed sections of the road as well as the vicinity of the Al-'Alami turnabout, and heavily damaged several houses and shops, while drones flew at a low altitude.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces raided the Qiffeen town, north of  Toulkarm, and deployed troops in the northern neighborhood while opening live ammunition indiscriminately, hitting the façade of a house.

The troops surrounded a house in the neighborhood and inspected vehicles parked along the roadside.

In the meantime, a sizable number of army vehicles stormed the Jamma'een town, northwest of Nablus, and sealed off the gate at the town entrance.

The army vehicles also stormed the Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus, with troops deployed in the streets and alleyways of the town.

There was no immediately available information on whether the raids into Qiffeen, Jamma'een and Sebastia resulted in casualties or detention cases.
