Editor's Notes:
Here are some
initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli
war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on
Gaza Strip, based on the
By August 25, 2024,
the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the
Israeli genocidal war on
Gaza
Strip is
50,405+.
This includes the accounted for deaths (40,405), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,000+).
By July 12, 2024, the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment destroyed more than 100 health hospitals and medical facilities, 609 mosques, 3 churches, more than 430,000 housing units, and the infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules. 2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet. 3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel. 4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed. 5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists. The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies. In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain. 6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people. Different media outlets said that a large number of Israeli warplanes carried out intensive raids on unspecified targets in Lebanon. A spokesperson for the Israeli army described the series of intense airstrikes on southern Lebanon early on Sunday as a “preemptive” attack launched after receiving information that 'Hizbullah was preparing for strikes on northern Israel. Spokesman Daniel Hagari said that a short while ago, the Israeli occupation army identified the 'Hizbullah group preparing to fire missiles and rockets towards Israeli territory, so it had to strike targets in Lebanon, from which Hezbollah was planning to launch their attacks on Israeli areas. The Israeli occupation army said that approximately 200 missiles had been launched from Lebanon towards Israel early Sunday. The Lebanese resistance group of Hezbollah said in a statement on Sunday that it fired more than 320 Katyusha rockets at 11 Israeli military bases and barracks, including the Meron base and four sites in the occupied Golan Heights. Hezbollah said it completed the first phase of its attack on Israel with “a large number of missiles” in response to the killing of its commander Fu-ad Shukr at the end of July. Meanwhile, the Lod (Ben Gurion) airport was closed in the early hours of the morning, and some reports emerged of injuries in northern Israel, while cities opened public bomb shelters. While the Israeli occupation have been exchanging tit-for-tat attacks across the border with some intensity since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, such strikes on Lebanon marks a significant escalation. *** Two Lebanese civilians killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon BEIRUT, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Two Lebanese civilians were killed this morning in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Al-Tayri, located in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The casualties occurred during a series of aerial attacks carried out by Israeli fighter jets across several towns and villages in the region. Earlier in the morning, Israeli military launched over 40 airstrikes on various targets in southern Lebanon, including towns such as Qousair, Kouneen, and Rashaf, among others. The bombings also hit several areas including the city of Khiyam, the Qal'at Al-Shaqeef area, and the towns of Zawtar, and Tayr 'Harfa, among others. The National News Agency of Lebanon reported that the Israeli strikes resulted in one more individual killed and three others injured across the affected areas. M.N *** Pre-Mortality stage: 15,000 children in Gaza suffering from severe malnutrition Sunday 25-August-2024 GAZA, (PIC) A UN report has stated that around 15,000 children in Gaza are suffering from severe malnutrition, after screening around 240,000 of these young Palestinians in the Strip since the beginning of this year. The report, published on the UN News website on Saturday, explained that the examinations included children aged between 6 months and 5 years in the besieged Gaza Strip, which has been the target of Israel’s ongoing war since October 7, 2023. The UN report pointed out that among these children in Gaza, numbering around 14,750 according to World Health Organization data, there are 3,288 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition. In this context, the World Health Organization is providing support to a center dedicated to treating malnutrition at the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in the town of Bait Lahya, northern Gaza Strip, noting that this center is one of four operational facilities treating malnutrition in the enclave and supported by the organization. The UN News quoted the director of the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, 'Husam Abu Safiyya, as saying “until this moment, we have counted almost five thousand children” suffering from malnutrition. He warned that the influx of Gaza children suffering from acute malnutrition, with its complications, means that this is “a station, God forbid, before death.” Abu Safiyya, drawing attention to the future impact of malnutrition on children, said, “Most of the cases come with advanced and delayed symptoms, and therefore the matter needs to be taken seriously and all the required medicines, foods, and therapeutic milk for these cases need to be introduced.” He stressed the need to introduce all kinds of food, “as in northern Gaza there is flour and some canned goods, but there are no vegetables, fruits, oils or meats, and of course all this will have a future impact on the bodies of the children. This problem will continue to exist unless the food problem is solved.” Acute malnutrition appears to be normal amid the starvation policy adopted by the Israeli occupation army within the framework of the genocide it is committing against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, for more than 10 months, by tightening the siege on them, closing the crossings, and preventing the entry of life-saving aid, including baby milk and basic foodstuffs and medicines. This is exacerbated further in the north of the Gaza Strip, which has been isolated from the south and center of the Strip, where dozens of deaths have been recorded as a result of malnutrition, especially among children. In a related context, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported in a recent report released last Friday that the number of Gaza children diagnosed with severe acute malnutrition in the north of the Strip in July was four times higher than in May. Meanwhile, the number doubled more than twice in the south. The UN office showed that only 1% of children in the north of Gaza and 6% in the south were able to obtain the recommended dietary diversity. ***
*** *** Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces*** On August 25, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on the Gaza Strip resulted in 3 main massacres, in which 71 Palestinian civilians were killed, and the 112 others were injured, in the past 48 hours (from a specific time of yesterday to a specific time of today). This increased the accounted for death toll in Gaza Strip to 40,405 and the injuries to 93,468, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023. *** Gaza: Death toll surges to 40,405 martyrs Sunday 25-August-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The health ministry in Gaza said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 71 civilians and injuring over 112 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads. In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but at least 183 of them, including 71 martyrs, were transported to hospitals. The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 40,405 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 93,468 people. The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7. Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities. *** Indonesian hospital: Available fuel enough for only 72 hours Sunday 25-August-2024 GAZA, (PIC) The director of the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, Marwan Al-Sultan, warned of the hospital ceasing operations due to a severe shortage of diesel fuel. In a press statement on Sunday, Al-Sultan pointed to the repeated refusal to allow the entry of the allocated fuel through the crossings of the besieged Strip, explaining that what has been supplied to the hospital is only enough for 72 hours. The hospital director confirmed that surgical operations and the intensive care unit are threatened with shutdown, which poses a real threat to the lives of patients and exposes them to the risk of death. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip had warned on Saturday of the unprecedented crisis of medicines and medical consumables in the Strip’s hospitals, amid the ongoing aggression and the occupation’s control over all crossings, and its continuous targeting of the health sector in Gaza. The World Health Organization had previously warned that the fuel shortage poses a catastrophic risk to the health system in Gaza, which has been exhausted by the ongoing Israeli genocide war for 11 months, noting that the health sector alone needs 80,000 liters of fuel per day. The Israeli occupation authorities control everything that enters the besieged Strip, which has been suffering from a severe shortage of fuel necessary to operate hospital generators, as well as humanitarian vehicles or even bakeries and water desalination units, but the occupation prevents their entry in sufficient quantities on the pretext that the Palestinian resistance could benefit from it. *** Israeli bombing kills and injures more Palestinian civilians in Gaza GAZA, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Palestinian civilians were killed and injured on Sunday in an Israeli occupation forces bombing of various areas of the Gaza Strip, mainly on Gaza City and the southern part of the Strip. Local sources reported that the occupation's warplanes targeted a group of people in front of a vehicle repair shop on the Red Cross Street in Sheikh Nasr neighborhood in the center of Khan Younus city in the southern part of the Strip, which led to the killing of two citizens and the injury of others. They added that two citizens were killed as a result of the Israeli occupation forces bombing of Al-Biyouk neighborhood in the center of Khan Younus, in conjunction with the occupation's artillery shelling of the eastern line area. Four citizens were killed and others were injured as a result of the occupation's bombing of a car in Mirage area north of Rafa'h city. A person was killed and others were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces warplanes bombing of Al-Hikr area in Dair El-Bala'h, in central Gaza Strip. In Gaza City, two citizens were killed and others were injured as a result of the bombing of a house on Al-Sikka Street in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza City. Eyewitnesses explained that the Israeli warplanes bombed a residential apartment for the Al-Saloul family in the vicinity of the Al-'Oyoun intersection in the Al-Nasr area north of Gaza City, which led to the martyrdom of 4 citizens and the injury of others. Medical sources reported that at least 28 people were killed and dozens were injured, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today. Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 40,405 reported fatalities, with an additional 93,468 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children. According to the same sources, emergency services are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews. K.T. *** Israeli shelling of areas west of Gaza City kills and injures several civilians GAZA, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) - Several civilians were killed and injured today in an Israeli shelling targeting areas west of Gaza City. Eyewitnesses said the occupation warplanes bombarded a residential apartment near Al-'Oyoun intersection west of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of several civilians and the injury of others. Since the start of the Israeli occupation's aerial, ground and sea aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, more than 40,334 people, mostly children and women, have been killed and over 93,356 others have been wounded. More than 10,000 people were reported missing. Casualty data in Gaza are incomplete due to the intensive Israeli aggression, the repeated and complete interruption of communication and internet services, lack of fuel and devastated infrastructure, which render it difficult to document figures. T.R. *** Five Palestinians killed and several injured in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza GAZA, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – In a series of intense Israeli airstrikes today, five Palestinians were killed and several others were injured as the bombardment targeted various areas across the Gaza Strip, particularly focusing on the central and southern regions. Local sources reported that Israeli artillery launched a heavy barrage on the city of Dair El-Bala'h and the Buraij refugee camp in central Gaza. Simultaneously, Israeli drones fired upon civilians near the Al-Anan Stadium in Dair El-Bala'h, resulting in the killing of three individuals and injuries to dozens more. In a separate incident, a child succumbed to critical injuries sustained from an Israeli airstrike that hit a group of civilians in the Al-Batn Al-Sameen area south of Khan Younus ten days ago. Meantime, rescue teams and civil defense units recovered the body of an individual from the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younus. Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted a home belonging to the 'Ayyad family in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. By August 24, 2024, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 40,334 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 93,356 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks. M.N. *** Six Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on home in Dair El-Bala'h GAZA, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Six Palestinians were killed and several others injured last night in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home in the city of Dair El-Bala'h, located in the central Gaza Strip. According to medical sources, the airstrike struck a house belonging to the Mu'ammar family in the Al-Hikr area of Dair El-Bala'h, resulting in the murder of six civilians and injuries to others. In addition to this, Israeli artillery fired shells towards the town of Al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Younus, further escalating the violence in the region. M.N *** *** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces *** Palestinian youth succumbs to injuries sustained from Israeli gunfire near Jineen Jineen, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, succumbed this morning to injuries sustained from Israeli occupation forces' gunfire near the Jalama military checkpoint, north of Jineen. Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces had opened fire earlier today on three young men who were in a vehicle near the checkpoint. The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces prevented ambulances from reaching the scene and detained the three individuals from the vehicle. Later, Palestinian security sources confirmed that one of the three young men had died from his injuries, while the condition of the other two remains unclear. With this latest murder in Jineen, the total number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), since October 7 has risen to 642, including 147 children. M.N. *** Palestinian detainee dies from injuries in Israeli custody TULKARM, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Zahir Ta'hseen Raddad, a 19-year-old Palestinian from the town of Sa'eeda, north of Toulkarm, died this morning while being held at an Israeli hospital within the 1948-occupied territories. Raddad had sustained serious injuries on July 23, following a siege by Israeli forces on a house where he was present in 'Izbat Al-Jarad neighborhood east of Toulkarm. The house was targeted by an Israeli drone, and Raddad was arrested along with three other young men, one of whom had moderate injuries. A joint statement from the Palestinian Prisoners Society and the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission confirmed Raddad's death at the Israeli Meir Hospital. According to the statement, Raddad was shot by Israeli forces and used as a human shield by being placed on the front of an Israeli military vehicle, as documented in video footage of the military operation in Toulkarm. The statement further detailed that Raddad had been held at Meir Hospital under critical and unstable health conditions, reliant on artificial respiration after undergoing several surgeries. Despite his grave condition, the Israeli authorities continued his detention until his death today. The two organizations condemned the Israeli occupation's actions as a compounded crime, starting from the moment of Raddad's arrest and shooting, his use as a human shield, and the continued detention despite his severe health condition. They described this incident as part of the unprecedented scale of crimes committed by the Israeli occupation since the onset of its genocidal campaign against the people of Gaza and its ongoing aggression against Palestinians across all occupied territories. M.N. *** Israeli occupation forces kidnap at least 35 Palestinians in occupied West Bank during past two days RAMALLAH, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces kidnapped at least 35 Palestinians, including minors and freed prisoners, from across the occupied West Bank during the past two days, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs. The prisoners' institutions said in a joint statement that the detentions, which were carried out across most of the West Bank governorates, were accompanied by attacks on detainees and their families, in addition to widespread vandalism and destruction of citizens' homes. The statement noted that the occupation forces detained more than 10,200 citizens in the West Bank, including Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), since the start of the ongoing Israeli genocide and mass aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023. PPS and the Commission said the detention campaigns represent one of the most consistent and systematic policies used by the occupation forces. They are also one of the most prominent tools of the occupation’s policy of collective punishment, which is a central method employed by the occupation to target Palestinians, stressed the statement. T.R. *** Israeli occupation apartheid regime police officers attack Palestinian woman, kidnap 4 youths at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque Sunday 25-August-2024 Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces attacked a Palestinian woman, and kidnapped two girls and two young men from the gates of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Sunday evening. Local medical crews transported a Palestinian woman to receive treatment, after the occupation police officers attacked her at the Bab Al-'Amoud (Damascus Gate) entrance. When a Palestinian young man tried to defend her, he was beaten by the police before being kidnapped, along with two girls. The police officers took the detainees to detention centers in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). The Israeli occupation apartheird police forces also kidnapped a young man after attacking him in Bab Al-Sahira area in the holy city and barred a number of worshippers from accessing the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the direction of Bab Al-Majlis. *** IOFs kidnap several Palestinians in West Bank raids Sunday 25-August-2024 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed last night and Sunday morning different areas of the West Bank and kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens. According to local sources, the IOFs stormed Balata refugee camp in Nablus, destroyed roads and kidnapped six citizens, including a father and his son, from their homes. The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided medical assistance for two women in their 50s and a 62-year-old man after they were assaulted by Israeli soldiers in Balata camp. Meanwhile, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades said that its fighters showered Israeli occupation forces in the refugee camp with bullets. The IOFs also kidnapped two citizens from Rujeeb town and Madama village in Nablus. In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation forces kidnapped the mother and brother of a young man accused of carrying out the Qadumim operation after raiding their home in Baqa Al-Hatab. Two young men from Qalqilya were also kidnaped at an IOFs checkpoint near Ramallah City. In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Israeli occupation forces raided homes, searched cars and kidnapped five citizens from their homes during a campaign in the city. Two other citizens were kidnapped from Teqoa town in the south of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem). In Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police forces kidnaped two citizens from their homes in Qalandya refugee camp. In separate incidents, Palestinian young men clashed with Israeli occupation soldiers and the illegal Israeli extremist settlers in different areas of the West Bank on Saturday evening. In Nablus, local youths fended off settlers who attacked the eastern area of Rujeeb village before Israeli occupation soldiers stormed the village and attacked local residents. A number of young men were reportedly injured during the IOFs attack on the village. Clashes also broke out between young men and Israeli occupation soldiers in Bait Foureek town, east of Nablus. Local sources said that two young men suffered bullet injuries during the IOFs raid in Bait Foureek and another one was injured after Israeli soldiers assaulted him, adding that the soldiers deliberately destroyed a number of cars in the town. In Al-Khaleel (Hebron), a number of Palestinian citizens, including two women, were injured on Saturday evening when a horde of armed settlers attacked them with batons in Susya village. In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), a horde of settlers set up three tents on swaths of land belonging to Palestinian citizens in Al-Mania village. *** Palestinian young man assaulted by Israeli forces near Aree'ha (Jericho) Aree'ha (Jericho), Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian young man was injured and bruised on Sunday after Israeli occupation soldiers assaulted him in the area of Auja Spring, north of the city of Aree'ha (Jericho). Security sources reported to WAFA that masked soldiers from the occupation army raided the area of Al-'Auja waterfall, north of Jericho, and kidnapped Layth 'Uwaina and severely beat him, injuring him and leaving him with bruises, before dropping him off near the 'Hamra military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley. The sources added that the young man, who is a resident of the village of Batteer, west of Bethlehem, was transferred to the Turkish hospital in the city of Tubas. K.T. *** Note: The Israeli occupation forces have no jurisdiction to arrest or detain Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, that's why the correct term for what they do illegally is kidnapping, not arrest or detention. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers set up illegal outpost in Aree'ha (Jericho) Sunday 25-August-2024 WEST BANK, (PIC) A horde of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers started to set up a new illegal outpost in the southwest of Jericho in the occupied West Bank. Local sources said that a group of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers stormed Dair Qarantal area in the southwest of Aree'ha (Jericho) and pitched one tent as a prelude to seizing the area and building the outpost. Last Thursday, settlers established a new outpost near the 'Auja spring, north of Aree'ha (Jericho). For decades, the Israeli occupation regime has been trying to impose its control over the West Bank, especially archeological and historic sites, in an attempt to expand settlements and Judaize Palestinian areas. *** Illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers continue to harass Palestinian Bedouin community northwest of Aree'ha (Jericho) Aree'ha (Jericho), Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – A horde of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers this evening stormed a Palestinian Bedouin community northwest of Jericho and carried out provocative acts against its residents. 'Hasan Mulai'hat, Head of the Al-Baydar Association for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that the illegal Israeli settlers raided the Muli'hat Bedioun community in the Mu'arrajat area northwest of Jericho, and carried out provocative acts against its residents, including grazing their sheep throughout the community. The said community is being subjected to systematic attempts by the occupying state and its colonizers to uproot them from their land. According to the semi-annual report of the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, the actions of the Israeli occupation and colonists have resulted in the displacement of five Palestinian Bedouin communities consisting of 18 families (118 individuals) since the beginning of this year. The Commission added that 24 Palestinian Bedouin communities consisting of 266 families (1517 individuals), were displaced from their places of residence after October 7, 2023. T.R. *** Israeli occupation forces demolish store in Balata refugee camp NABLUS, Sunday, August 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished a store last night during a raid on the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, according to local and Palestinian security sources. The sources reported that a number of Israeli military vehicles and a bulldozer broke into the camp, leading to widespread vandalism. The forces specifically targeted and demolished the Al-'Araishi Mall, which had been previously attacked multiple times.
