While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

30,000 Palestinians perform Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Friday 2-August-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

At least 30,000 Palestinian worshipers performed Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), despite Israeli restrictions.

During the Friday sermon, the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque Shaikh 'Ikrima Sabri mourned the head of Hamas Movement’s political bureau Isma'eel Haniyya who was assassinated in an Israeli attack in Tehran.

Following the Friday prayer, tens of thousands of worshipers performed in Aqsa Mosque the absentee funeral prayer for the soul of the martyr Isma'eel Haniyya.

Concurrent with the funeral prayer for Haniyya in Doha, the absentee prayer was held for him in various countries. Amidst the Takbeers of the worshippers, and from the pulpit of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ikrimah Sabri eulogized the martyr leader from the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The President of Religious Affairs in Türkiye, 'Ali Erbaş, announced the holding of the absentee prayer throughout the country after the Friday prayer, for the martyr leader Isma'eel Haniyya.

Erbaş said in a post on his X account on Thursday evening: “A day of national mourning is declared in our country after the martyrdom of Isma'eel Haniyya, one of the senior leaders of the Palestinian cause.”

He added that the absentee prayer will also be held in all mosques in Türkiye after the Friday prayer. The absentee prayer was performed for Haniyya in many other countries.

The worshippers gathered in all the mosques of the West Bank to perform the absentee prayer on the martyr leader Haniyya in appreciation of his struggle and the sacrifices he made for the Palestinian cause.

The martyrs will be buried in the cemetery of the founding Imam in Al-Waseel.

Earlier Thursday, thousands poured into the streets of Tehran to join the funeral procession of Haniyya.

'Hamas calls for global action to end Israel’s war of genocide

Friday 2-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Islamic Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, asserted on Thursday that the occupation army’s bombardment of a school sheltering displaced people in Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City is a new massacre added to its long series of crimes.

Hamas said in a statement, “In a new massacre added to the long series of massacres committed by the criminal Zionist occupation army as part of its ongoing aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip, the fascist occupation army deliberately bombed the Dalal Al-Maghribi school in Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, which was sheltering displaced people resulting in the martyrdom of about 15 people and about 40 injuries, most of them women and children.”

The Movement called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and the free people of the world to escalate the angry public protests and pressure to stop the Israeli war of extermination.

It called on the United Nations, international courts, and all relevant parties to take serious and powerful action “to stop the war crimes being committed by war criminal Netanyahu and his terrorist army, and to end their silence in the face of this collective killing under the very eyes of the world.”

Earlier on Thursday, the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced the martyrdom of 15 Palestinians and the injury of others when an Israeli aircraft targeted the Dalal Al-Maghribi school, which was sheltering displaced people in Gaza City.

The Israeli occupation army has been waging a bloody aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, with American and European support bombing the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers, and homes of Palestinian civilians, destroying them over the heads of their inhabitants, and preventing the entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has led to the martyrdom of 39,480 citizens, the injury of 91,128 others, and the displacement of 90% of the inhabitants of the Strip, according to local data.

Pezeshkian vows to make Israel regret “soon” its assassination of Haniyya

Thursday 1-August-2024

TEHRAN, (PIC)

Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian has vowed to make the Israeli occupation regret its cowardly assassination of Ismail Haniyya, head of the Hamas political bureau.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran will not give up on its efforts to protect its territorial integrity, sovereignty, dignity and reputation, and the Zionist regime will soon see the consequences of its cowardly and terrorist act,” Pezeshkian in a statement aired by state satellite channels on Wednesday afternoon.

The Iranian president offered his condolences to the Palestinian people, their resistance and the Muslim Ummah on the martyrdom of Haniyya and his companion in a predawn Israeli attack in northern Tehran on Wednesday.

He said martyr Haniyya was an official guest of the Iranian president and the government of Iran and was in Tehran to attend a presidential inauguration ceremony before he was assassinated.

The president said the Israeli occupation regime’s assassination of Haniyya was a desperate move to come out of its quandary in Gaza, where it has been waging a brutal war against the Palestinians for more than nine months.

UNRWA: Gaza’s children are living in trauma after 300 days of war

Thursday 1-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday that the children of Gaza are going through unspeakable atrocities.

They are living in trauma and shock due to 300 days of war, displacement, loss, and pain, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said in a post on X platforms.

They witnessed what no child should witness, he added.

Through sports, arts, drama, games and creating space to reunite with friends and making new ones, our teachers are providing a ray of light amid the darkness, the post reads.

“It’s a small contribution to help children reconnect with their robbed childhood.”

“Children of Gaza deserve safety. Once again, we call for a ceasefire now for their sake and all children across the region,” he added.

Prisoner Omar Junaid from Gaza dies under torture in Israeli jail

Thursday 1-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Gaza’s Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees said on Thursday that Palestinian prisoner 'Omar Junaid, a 26-year-old from Jabalya in northern Gaza, had died last June in an Israeli jail as a result of his exposure to torture.

The prisoner’s father, Abdul-Aziz, told the ministry that he received a phone call today from HaMoked, an Israeli human rights group, saying that his son Omar had died on June 17, 2024 under interrogation.

Prisoner Omar was kidnaped along with his brother Yasser from their home in Jabalya on December 24, 2023, and his family did not know about his fate throughout that period, even after his brother was released in last April.

“We sought help from many human rights organizations inside and outside Gaza to find out his fate, but we had no answer because the occupation authority refused to provide any information about him,” the father said.

“Last May, we contacted the Center for the Defense of the Individual ‘HaMoked’ in Jerusalem, which, in turn, filed a petition with an Israeli court to find out his fate,” he added.

The family said that its son, Omar, had no health problem before Israeli forces kidnaped him from its house, calling for necessarily handing over his body in order to bury him in his hometown in northern Gaza.

Released Gaza detainees reveal chilling accounts of torture in Israeli detention

GAZA, Thursday, August 1, 2024 (WAFA) –

Palestinian detainees from Gaza released today by Israeli authorities have provided chilling accounts of severe torture and mistreatment during their imprisonment. The testimonies, given at the Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h, detail brutal conditions faced by those held in Israeli jails after being detained from Gaza.

The detainees reported experiencing a range of inhumane treatments including beatings, starvation, electric shocks, and attacks by dogs. The testimonies come following the release of 64 Palestinian detainees from Gaza, who had been held since the start of the ongoing Israeli assault on the region from October 7, 2023. Additionally, two women from Gaza were released; they had been detained while accompanying patients receiving treatment in Israel.

Ahmed Ahmed, who was detained for 46 days and moved between Ofer, Negev, and another prison in occupied Jerusalem, described his ordeal: “We were blindfolded and subjected to brutal torture, including beatings and starvation. The Israeli forces forced us into a crouching position, blindfolded, preventing any movement or conversation.”

Ibrahim Salem, who was arrested on December 11 from the Kamal 'Udwan Hospital, recounted his daily suffering: “I was tortured and starved while my wife and children were in intensive care. I was transferred from one prison to another, deprived of sleep, and subjected to various forms of torture. They even forced me to wear a military uniform and attempted to lower me into a pit.”

Mohammad Jaber from northern Gaza shared his experience of brutal treatment: “I was arrested on November 17 at a checkpoint, blindfolded and shackled, and endured severe beatings for eight days while naked. I sustained injuries, lost a toenail, and did not receive medical treatment. I lost 40 kilograms and suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure without proper care.”

Over the past months, Israel has released several detainees from Gaza in staggered batches, many of whom have experienced significant health deterioration due to their harsh conditions.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s ongoing military onslaught on Gaza has resulted in over 130,000 casualties, including many children and women, with more than 10,000 missing. The offensive has led to widespread devastation and severe food shortages, causing the deaths of numerous children.

From prison tents to displacement tents: Ibrahim Salem's story

GAZA, Friday, August 2, 2024 (WAFA) -

When Ibraheem Salim stepped out of the ambulance that brought him and his fellow detainees to the Al-Aqsa Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h, he was immediately surrounded by anxious locals.

Their questions were frantic, filled with desperation for news about missing loved ones who had vanished or been captured by Israeli forces during their recent ground invasion of various Gaza regions.

"Have you seen so-and-so? How is he? Did you come across the name of so-and-so?" These were among the urgent questions being asked as news reports revealed that many Palestinian detainees had been tortured and killed in Israeli prisons and camps.

The latest victim was Islam Al-Sarsawi, 42, from Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood in Gaza, who died under torture at the Sdeh Teyman camp following his arrest during the latest raid on Al-Shifa Hospital.

On Thursday, the Israeli authorities released 64 detainees from Gaza, part of the ongoing aggression that began in October of last year. Along with this group, two women from Gaza, who had been detained while accompanying patients in Israel, were also freed. While 22 of the released detainees went directly to the hospital, the rest dispersed to search for their families.

Salem, recounting his ordeal, described the severe torture inflicted on him by Israeli soldiers: "They tortured me with an electric chair, beat me severely, and broke my ribs," he revealed, showing scars on his chest as proof.

He recounted that torture sessions would last for days and weeks. During his imprisonment, a fellow detainee died from the abuse, leading to a protest within the prison that was brutally suppressed by guards.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners Society, the number of martyrs from the prisoner movement since 1967 has reached 257, including 20 who have died since the beginning of the current genocidal war. The identities of many others from Gaza remain concealed by the occupation forces.

Salem detailed his experiences after his arrest, explaining that soldiers took him to an unfamiliar area where he endured severe torture before being transferred to the Negev desert prison. There, the conditions were harsh: many prisoners suffered from scabies due to filthy, old bedding. "Scabies, hunger, thirst, and no medical care; most have lost half or a third of their weight," Salem noted.

He further described the inhumane treatment, including the use of dogs to intimidate prisoners and the inadequate food supply. "Small slices of bread, filthy bedding that can't be washed, no medical care or medicine," he lamented.

Salem's ordeal began when Israeli forces arrested him from Kamal 'Udwan Hospital in northern Gaza while he was accompanying his injured children following an attack on his family's home in December. The bombing had resulted in the killing of his brother Mohamed, 25, his sister A'hlam, 27, her two children Rami, 3, and Mohamed, 5, and left his three children wounded.

"I took my children to the hospital and stayed with them the first day, but the next day, Israeli soldiers raided the hospital and kidnapped me along with other citizens. I still don’t know the fate of my children," Salem said.

Upon his release, Salem arrived at the hospital exhausted and emaciated. He sat outside on a bench, surrounded by neighbors and relatives displaced from northern Gaza, who continued to ask him questions. His spirits lifted momentarily when a neighbor contacted his father, Atef, who had refused to evacuate from northern Gaza.

However, his brief joy was shattered when he received a call from his brother Waseem in Turkey, only to learn that his brother Layth had been killed as he attempted to rescue neighbors from an Israeli airstrike.

Layth was killed on December 12, when an Israeli missile struck while he was trying to help those affected by another bombing. Salem had already lost his other brother, Khalil, 31, in an Israeli attack on the Jabalya refugee camp on November 2.

As Salim and his companions made their way to an unknown destination, he asked, "Where are we? Where do we go? I want to return to my children and family in northern Gaza."

His guides explained that returning to the north was impossible and that they were now in the central part of the strip. They took him to a tent in the Mawasi area west of Khan Younus, a region deemed "safe" by the occupation but which had been subjected to multiple airstrikes, resulting in numerous casualties.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza has left over 130,000 killed and wounded, the majority being children and women. The war has also led to over 10,000 missing persons, amidst widespread destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of many children.

Friday 2-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered Day 301 on Friday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians.

Reporters for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes and attack citizens in different areas of Gaza, especially in Khan Younus and Rafa'h, during the past 24 hours.

The Israeli forces have continued their ground invasion of large neighborhoods in Rafa'h, since May 7, while storming Gaza City amid air and artillery bombardment.

Civil defense crews recovered a number of martyrs and evacuated the wounded from a residential apartment of the Abu Hashim family, located on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City.

The Israeli warplanes also bombed the house of Abu Mu'hammed Abu Jazar family, near the Islamic University in the Ma'an area, east of Khan Younus city, south of the Gaza Strip.

7 civilians were injured during the attack, most of whom were children and women.
