While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

'Hamas urges UN, international community to send inquiry committees to Gaza

Sunday 11-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement has called on the UN and the international community to send inquiry committees to the Gaza Strip to visit shelters and displacement centers in order to investigate Israeli claims against them.

In a statement on Saturday, 'Hamas called for necessarily exposing Israel’s ongoing war crimes in Gaza and enforce the resolutions and conventions intended to protect civilians in wartime in order to end the genocidal war against the Palestinians in Gaza.

'Hamas strongly denounced the remarks that were made by British foreign secretary David Lammy regarding the massacre that had been committed at dawn Saturday against innocent displaced people in Al-Taabi'een School, in which he called on 'Hamas to stop endangering civilians.

'Hamas called Lammy’s remarks an “appalling alignment with the [Israeli] occupation’s false narrative about the alleged use of schools and displacement centers for military purposes,” adding that Israel’s claims in this regard are intended to justify its targeting of civilians.

'Hamas also decried his remarks as a “blatant attempt to absolve his country of any legal, political and moral responsibility for providing the Israeli occupation regime with political and military support to continue its brutal genocide in the Gaza Strip.”

“In their reports, several humanitarian groups, the UN, its organizations and international rapporteurs have documented that the terrorist occupation government has committed during more than 10 months of horrific genocide the most atrocious crimes known to humanity against unarmed civilians in [Gaza’s] cities, camps, schools, hospitals and shelters,” Hamas underlined.

“The number of martyrs has neared 40,000 people and over two-thirds of them are women,” Hamas pointed out.

The Movement called on secretary Lammy, his government and Western governments spearheaded by the US administration to back down from this path that makes them accomplices in Israel’s war crimes, ethnic cleansing and genocide in the Gaza Strip.

In another statement, Hamas described the Israeli occupation army’s claim that a number of civilians who were martyred in the school massacre in al-Daraj neighborhood were members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad as “misleading and false.”

“Out of over 100 civilians cold-bloodedly killed in Al-Taabi'een School massacre, the (Israeli) occupation army announced a list of 19 martyrs whom it claimed to have been resistance activists in a bid to justify its heinous crime after it received widespread international condemnation,” 'Hamas said.

'Hamas stressed that there was no one gunman among the people who were martyred in Saturday’s massacre, adding that all of them were civilians who were targeted while performing the Fajr (dawn) prayer.

'Hamas affirmed that all the people in the Israeli list have nothing to do with any political or military activity, adding that they are civil servants, university teachers, religious figures and children.

Algeria requests urgent UNSC meeting following Gaza City massacre

Sunday 11-August-2024

ALGIERS, (PIC)

Algeria has submitted a request for holding an urgent UN Security Council session next Tuesday to discuss the Israeli massacre that happened yesterday in Al-Daraj neighborhood, in the east of Gaza City.

The Algerian Press Service cited a diplomatic source in New York as saying that Algeria has requested the convening of this session in view of the recent grave developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially following the deadly Israeli attack on a school in Gaza.

The same source added that “this request was submitted in consultation with the State of Palestine,” affirming that Algeria’s request “has the support of other member states of the Security Council.”

More than 100 people were killed and dozens were wounded in an Israeli missile attack on a Gaza City school sheltering displaced families at dawn Saturday.

Meanwhile, the EU foreign policy chief said he was horrified by images of the Gaza school massacre that happened following an Israeli airstrike on Saturday.

“At least 10 schools were targeted in the last weeks. There is no justification for these massacres,” EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy Josep Borrell said, adding that a ceasefire is the only way to prevent further civilian deaths.

Borrell said the EU fully supports the call by leaders from the US, Egypt and Qatar to conclude a ceasefire and prisoner release deal.

He also noted that over 40,000 Palestinians have been killed since the conflict began and criticized Israeli minister Bezalel Smotrich for opposing a ceasefire.

For her part, Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory, condemned the world’s “indifference” to the mass bloodshed in Gaza.

“Israel is committing a genocidal (war) on  the Palestinians one neighborhood at a time, one hospital at a time, one school at a time, one refugee camp at a time, one ‘safe zone’ at a time — with US and European weapons,” Albanese posted on X on Saturday.

“May the Palestinians forgive us for our collective inability to protect them, honoring the most basic meaning of international law,” she said.

IOF bombed 13 shelter centers housing displaced people in Gaza in 10 days

Saturday 10-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) have targeted 13 shelter centers, where displaced Palestinians have been seeking refuge, since the beginning of August.

This came in a press conference held by the Civil Defense in Gaza City on Saturday, hours after the IOFs bombed Al-Taabi’een school in Al-Daraj neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, killing at least 100 Palestinians with three missiles, including at least one of the MK-84 with a weight of 2,000 pounds.

The spokesman for Civil Defense, Mahmoud Basal, said that the IOF bombed two floors of the school, leading to a real massacre at dawn hours, noting that the school shelters more than 6,000 displaced people who moved to it after it had been announced as a safe zone.

Basal described the massacre as “frightening” as entire families were bombed and martyred while leaving large numbers of wounded, including children and women. Some of the martyrs were dismembered while others were charred in an awful scene, he added.

He pointed out that many dead body parts were not recognized as it was unknown to whose martyr(s) it belonged, adding that there are people who are considered missing up to the moment, despite that their families were told that they were seen in the school.

Basal explained that among the martyrs were 11 children and six women in addition to dozens of serious injuries, calling on the international community to intervene immediately to stop these massacres against defenseless civilians.

100 Palestinians were martyred and dozens were wounded in an Israeli horrific massacre at dawn Saturday that targeted Al-Taabi’een school in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City.

The IOFs has been pursuing a systematic policy of targeting schools and shelter centers to which the displaced people have resorted.

According to the Government Media Office (GMO), the recent massacres have raised the number of the targeted displaced shelter centers since the start of the genocidal war in Gaza to 173 school shelters, bringing the number of victims who were martyred in theses shelters to over 1,150 martyrs.

Health: 500 martyrs and 310 prisoners from the medical staff since the start of the war on Gaza

Sunday 11-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 500 of its medical staff were martyred and hundreds were injured during the ongoing Israeli extermination war on the Gaza Strip.

The ministry said in a statement that the Israeli occupation forces arrested more than 310 health workers, and destroyed 130 ambulances in the Gaza Strip.

It also indicated that 340 attacks were carried out on health facilities and their workers in the occupied West Bank.

The ministry confirmed that the deliberate targeting of the medical infrastructure by the occupation has deprived citizens of access to basic health care services.

The ministry’s statement explained that the poor water and sanitation conditions, in addition to overcrowding, have led to an increase in preventable diseases and premature deaths.

It pointed out that the Gaza Strip is facing a public health disaster due to unsafe water resources and a lack of basic hygiene needs for more than 1.7 million forcibly displaced people.

The ministry added that the severe shortage of health workers and medical supplies, including anesthesia and antibiotics, is making healthcare workers struggle to save lives.

The ministry called for the unconditional entry of humanitarian aid to address the severe shortages, and assistance in evacuating the wounded to receive life-saving medical care abroad.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a savage war on the besieged Gaza Strip, leaving about 40,000 martyrs and about 100,000 wounded, mostly women and children.

Israeli occupation army issues new forced displacement orders in Khan Younus

Sunday 11-August-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army has issued new forced displacement orders for the Palestinian civilian residents of the city of Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip, in preparation for bombarding the area.

The forced displacement orders included the city center neighborhoods, Al-Jala’, Sheikh Nasser, Barbakh, and parts of Ma’an.

The occupation army ordered on the citizens to evacuate towards the alleged “safe zone” west of the city in Al-Mawasi.

The occupation army claimed that its order is based on intelligence information indicating that the Palestinian resistance has infrastructure in the area and is launching rockets towards the settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.

The new calls for forced displacement came a day after a horrific massacre that targeted a school sheltering the displaced, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 100 Palestinians.

Palestinian citizens confirm that there is no safe or livable spot in the Gaza Strip due to the continuous Israeli bombardment of all neighborhoods.

Earlier, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, Ezzat Al-Resheq, affirmed that they have a strict policy of not having fighters among civilians to avoid them being targeted by the occupation forces.

He stressed that the occupation army’s narrative that the victims of the Tal al-Hawa massacre belong to Hamas and Islamic Jihad is misleading and false.

According to the data of the Government Media Office in Gaza, the recent massacres have raised the number of shelters targeted by the occupation army since the start of the genocide war in Gaza to 173 schools and shelters, and the number of martyrs in these massacres has exceeded 1,050.

24% of the victims of Israel's genocide in Gaza are youth: PCBS

RAMALLAH, Sunday, August 11, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) reported today that 24% of those killed in the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on Gaza are youth, with 26% being male and 22% female.

PCBS said in a report marking the International Youth Day that 75% of those who have been killed by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, are under 30.

The report projects that Gaza’s population growth rate will drop significantly from an estimated 2.7% in 2023 to around 1% in 2024, following a dramatic decline in birth rates due to the ongoing Israeli war.

The report also anticipates a direct impact on the age and gender structure of the population, with targeted attacks on children and youth causing long-term demographic changes.

Before the Israeli assault, Palestine had a population of approximately 5.6 million, including 1.2 million youths aged 18-29, representing 22% of the population, according to the report. By the end of 2023, this proportion was 22% in the West Bank and 21% in Gaza.

The report further details that 653 students from higher education institutions have been killed by Israeli forces, with 619 in Gaza and 34 in the West Bank. Additionally, 105 education workers in Gaza have been killed, and 1,406 students from Gaza’s higher education institutions have been injured.

UNRWA: Over 75,000 Palestinians in Gaza displaced in last few days

GAZA, Sunday, August 11, 2024 (WAFA) –

Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), reported today that over 75,000 Palestinians have been displaced in the southwestern region of Gaza in recent days.

In a post on X, Lazzarini stated that the mass displacement of the Palestinian people continues unabated. He further explained that recent events have forced over 75,000 people to flee their homes in southwestern Gaza, adding that additional Israeli evacuation orders were issued last night, compelling even more residents to relocate.

The UNRWA Commissioner described the dire conditions faced by the displaced, many of whom can only carry their children or a single small bag containing their entire lives.

He pointed out that these newly displaced individuals are seeking refuge in overcrowded shelters without specific destinations, having lost everything and requiring all forms of assistance.

In a related development, Israeli occupation forces have expanded their forcible evacuation orders this morning to areas in Khan Younus, southern Gaza. Residents and displaced persons in the 'Hamad City neighborhood, north of Khan Younis, have been instructed to evacuate immediately.

Over 16 Palestinians detained by Israeli forces across the West Bank

RAMALLAH, Sunday, August 11, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of detentions across the West Bank last night and early this morning, detaining 16 Palestinians, including several former prisoners.

The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) said in a joint press statement that the detentions took place in multiple governorates, including Jerusalem, Hebron, Jenin, Qalqilya, and Nablus.

The raids were marked by violence and intimidation, said the statement. Witnesses reported that the detainees and their families were subjected to threats, and extensive damage was inflicted on their homes during the raids. The Israeli forces also engaged in widespread property destruction.

According to the two organizations, since the onset of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, over 10,000 Palestinians have been detained from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque

Sunday 11-August-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Hordes of extremist Jewish settlers escorted by police officers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards on Sunday morning, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to local sources, dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through Al-Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

Under the status quo, non-Muslims may visit the Aqsa Mosque but cannot pray. However, the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers have been increasingly defying the ban, something Palestinians consider serious provocation, fearing that the occupation regime intends to take over the Islamic holy site.

In a related context, Jerusalemite officials warned of an Israeli intent to organize mass settler break-ins at Al-Aqsa Mosque next Tuesday to mark the destruction of the alleged temple.

Extremist settler groups incited their followers to participate in a human chain around the Old City’s wall in Jerusalem on Monday evening.

Illegal Israeli settlers bulldoze Palestinian lands, uproot trees near Salfeet

Salfeet, Sunday, August 11, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli Jewish settlers on Monday bulldozed lands and uprooted olive trees in the village of Yasouf, east of Salfeet.

The head of the Yasouf village council, Wa-il Abu Madhi, said on Sunday that colonists, under the protection of the occupation forces, bulldozed approximately six dunams in Al-Sarab area located between the villages of Yasuf and Iskaka, and uprooted about 100 olive trees, ranging in age from 50-60 years, in favor of expanding Novi Hamia colony built on citizens' lands, on the southern side of the village.

Abu Madhi added that the lands that were bulldozed are owned by citizens of the village, including siblings 'Abdullah, A'hmed, and 'Hanan Mustafa Al-Abid and their relatives who are expatriates, and siblings Ziyad and Zuhair Jameel 'Abdul Razzaq, noting that the area is about 100 meters away from the citizens' homes.

It is worth noting that the village of Yasouf is subjected to repeated attacks by colonists, while the occupation forces and colonists continue to close its eastern entrance with an iron gate.

Illegal Israeli settlers threaten Palestinians in Masafir Yatta over water well

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Sunday, August 11, 2024 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers have issued threats to residents of Al-Touba village in the Masafir Yatta region, south of the West Bank, regarding the use of a local water well in the village, according to local sources.

Sources reported that the illegal Israeli settlers broke into the village, seized control of a water well belonging to the 'Eisa 'Awadh family, and prohibited residents from approaching the area or using the water for their livestock.

The colonists' actions are part of a broader strategy to alter the realities in the Masafir Yatta region. They systematically take control of water resources and agricultural lands, furthering their efforts to assert dominance in the area and disrupt the lives of local Palestinian communities.
