In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves" (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules. 2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet. 3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel. 4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed. 5. It is more accurate to refer to the land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists. The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies. In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain. 6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people. Israeli forces and Lebanon’s armed group Hezbollah have been exchanging fire for over six months in parallel to the Gaza war. *** Euro-Med warns of imminent Israeli ‘massacre’ in Bait Lahya Wednesday 24-April-2024 GENEVA, (PIC) The Geneva-based Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said the Israeli military will likely carry out a “new massacre” in northern Gaza’s Bait Lahya, after the army issued new evacuation orders to people who have remained in the area. Israeli forces will “wipe out the last remnants” of Beit Lahya, and will cause yet another wave of mass displacement in the area, where some 50,000 Palestinians reside, the Monitor said in a statement. Earlier, the Israeli occupation army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said on X the military “will use extreme force against terrorist infrastructure and subversive elements in the region,” telling residents to “evacuate the area immediately and head towards known shelters in blocks number 1770, 1766.” However, the rights group has said that “nowhere is safe” in the besieged territory, pointing to Israeli attacks on places previously deemed “safe”. The shelters the Israeli army asked Palestinians to flee to, Euro-Med said, are destroyed areas that are “unfit for any form of life, and lack water supply as well as functioning sewage systems.” *** WFP: Half of the Gazans suffer from hunger following 200 days of war Wednesday 24-April-2024 GAZA, (PIC) As the world marks 200 days since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the UN World Food Program (WFP) said on Tuesday that half of the Gaza population is suffering from hunger. “WFP provides necessary food aid to more than a million people every month [in the Gaza Strip] and works on operating food systems that have stopped working,” WFP said in remarks on its X page. WFP pointed out that all the amounts of aid that are provided for Gaza is just a “drop in the ocean of needs,” stressing the need for a ceasefire to save the population. Mass graves, crippled or destroyed hospitals, thousands of civilian deaths, total destruction of homes and infrastructure, and widening famine are haunting Gazans as Israel’s war on their besieged coastal enclave entered its 200th day on Tuesday. By April 23, 2024, according to the health ministry in Gaza on Tuesday, at least 34,183 people have been killed and 77,084 have been wounded so far during the war. About 72 percent of those killed are women and children, while about 7,000 civilians are reported missing, including those who are believed to be still under the rubble, according to an update by Gaza’s Government Media Office. On Monday, UN human rights chief Volker Turk said a child in Gaza is killed or wounded “every 10 minutes.” *** Abu Obayda: In 200 days, Israel achieved nothing but massacres and destruction Tuesday 23-April-2024 GAZA, (PIC) In his first televised appearance since early march, Abu Obayda, spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, said that “200 days since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the criminal enemy still struggles to salvage its public image and save face.” In a speech aired by Al-Jazeera satellite channel on Tuesday, Abu Obayda rejected the Israeli claims of success in eliminating and dismantling the Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza, calling such claims “a big lie,” stressing that the Israeli occupation army “remains stuck in the sands of Gaza.” “In 200 days, the enemy has only achieved mass killings and destruction … and they will only reap more shame and defeat,” Abu Obeida said. “200 days later, our resistance in Gaza is still as solid as the mountains of Palestine,” Abu Obayda underlined. The spokesman emphasized that the resistance would not give up the fundamental rights and demands of its people, which are the withdrawal of Israeli forces, lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip, and the return of displaced civilians to their homes. Abu Obayda warned the families of Israeli captives in Gaza that “time is short and opportunities are few,” suggesting that the Israeli detainees could meet the same fate as Ron Arad (the Israeli airman who is still missing after being captured in Lebanon in 1986). In response to other Israeli claims that ramping up military pressure on Hamas in Gaza would lead to the release of captives, Abu Obayda said that the “so-called military pressure on his Movement would only strengthen its adherence to its positions and make it more determined to protect its people’s rights.” He accused the Israeli occupation government of procrastinating over reaching a prisoner exchange deal and trying to obstruct the mediators’ efforts to reach a ceasefire. He expressed his Movement’s appreciation of every military and popular effort that supported Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, especially from Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq. *** Gaza: More bodies recovered from mass graves Tuesday 23-April-2024 GAZA, (PIC) Efforts are underway, for the fifth day running, to recover bodies of martyrs from mass graves left behind by the Israeli occupation army at the Nasir Medical Complex in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younus. Civil defense and medical crews were able to recover a further 35 bodies at the Nasir Hospital on Tuesday, bringing the total to 310. Some 73 bodies had been discovered on Monday. The Government Media Office (GMO) has accused the Israeli occupation army of burying corpses at the hospital with bulldozers to cover up crimes, affirming that Israeli forces deliberately hid the bodies of people deep into the bowels of the earth and dumped waste on them. Some of the bodies retrieved by civil defense and medical crews belong to women, elderlies and wounded civilians, and some buried people were found handcuffed and stripped of their clothes, which reflected that they were executed by Israeli soldiers in cold blood. GMO said that the fate of about 2,000 citizens who were inside the Nasser Medical Complex when the Israeli army stormed and attacked it is still unknown, adding that there is no information if they were kidnaped or killed. GMO called on the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to launch an investigation into the massacres and atrocities that had been committed by Israeli forces at the Hospitals of Nasir and Al-Shifa. *** UN calls for investigation into mass graves uncovered at two Gaza hospitals Wednesday 24-April-2024 NEW YORK, (PIC) The United Nations called Tuesday for “a clear, transparent and credible investigation” of mass graves uncovered at two major hospitals in war-torn Gaza that were raided by Israeli troops. Credible investigators must have access to the sites, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric told reporters, and added that more journalists need to be able to work safely in Gaza to report on the facts. Earlier Tuesday, UN human rights chief Volker Türk said he was “horrified” by the destruction of Al-Shifa medical center in Gaza City and Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younus as well as the reported discovery of mass graves in and around the facilities after the Israelis left. He called for independent and transparent investigations into the deaths, saying that “given the prevailing climate of impunity, this should include international investigators.” “Hospitals are entitled to very special protection under international humanitarian law,” Türk said. “And the intentional killing of civilians, detainees and others who are ‘hors de combat’ is a war crime.” *** Al-Rishiq: After 200 days of aggression, Gaza is still writing history Wednesday 24-April-2024 DOHA, (PIC) 'Izzat Al-Rishiq, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau, affirmed that Gaza is still writing history after 200 days of the aggression, emphasizing that “the Aqsa flood is redefining the stage, arranging international priorities, and reproducing liberation consciousness in the entire world.” Al-Rishiq stated, “On October 7, glorious dawn broke from besieged Gaza, proclaiming a new and revolutionary beginning for a people under mandate and occupation for a century, and an unprecedented level of military readiness.” “On October 7, our Palestinian people changed the course of events, took the initiative, and resolved to protect their rights, freedom, sanctities, land, and prisoners. They established military, security, and moral superiority by documenting an incredibly precise and intricate military intelligence operation in the annals of history. They also made the occupation army feel some of the suffering that our people endured over many decades, exposing the terrorist Nazi occupation army’s morals and brutality against civilians, women, and children through audio and video footage.” The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7. Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities. *** *** Killing and Injuring of Palestinians in Ghazza (Gaza) by Israeli Occupation Regime ForcesOn April 24, 2024, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qidra, the Spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli genocidal air strikes and bombardment on Gaza Strip resulted in 6 massacres, which resulted in the killing of 79 Palestinian civilians, and the injury of 86 others, in the past 24 hours. This increased the accounted for death toll in Gaza Strip to 34,262 and the injuries to 77,229, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023. *** 79 Palestinian civilians killed in Israeli massacres in Gaza in 24 hours GAZA, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces committed six massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, resulting in the documented killing of at least 79 Palestinians and the injury of 86 others, according to medical sources. According to local sources, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has resulted in 34,262 documented Palestinian fatalities so far, with the majority being children and women. In addition, 77,229 injuries have been documented since the start of the onslaught. Meanwhile, ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of and ambulance and civil defense teams. Y.S. *** US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza enters day 200 Tuesday 23-April-2024 GAZA, (PIC) As the US-backed Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip entered day 200 on Tuesday, aerial and artillery strikes continued to pound and target different areas, and massacre more civilians, mostly children and women. A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation army continued to launch attacks across Gaza, killing and injuring multiple citizens. According to media sources, one citizen was killed and others were injured when the Israeli army bombed a soccer arena sheltering displaced families in Bait Lahya, north of Gaza. An Israeli warplane also bombed an apartment building in Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in the south of Gaza City, with no reported casualties. Casualties, including one martyr, were reported when the Israeli army bombed a house in the new refugee camp of Al-Nusayrat in central Gaza. The Israeli occupation army also launched aerial and artillery attacks on other areas of Gaza, killing and injuring dozens of citizens. *** Gaza: Palestinians killed, others injured, as Israel's aggression enters its 201st day GAZA, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinian civilians were Wednesday killed, and others sustained various injuries in the ongoing occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has entered its 201st day. WAFA correspondent reported that three citizens were killed, and others were injured, as the occupation bombed a group of citizens near Abu 'Araban School in Nusayrat camp in the central Gaza Strip. The occupation aircraft launched a series of raids northwest of the new camp, north of Nusayrat camp, coinciding with artillery shelling in the vicinity of the place. Injuries were recorded among citizens, as a result of the occupation's artillery shelling on various areas of the neighborhoods of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, where the sounds of huge and continuous explosions were heard as smoke rose in the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Al-Shuja'iya, Al-Tuffa'h, Al-Daraj, Tel Al-Hawa, and Al-Rimal in Gaza City. In the northern Gaza Strip, a number of citizens were injured in continuous artillery shelling on the towns of Bait Lahya, Bait 'Hanoun, and east of Jabalya. An air strike from an Israeli warplane targeted agricultural land in the Al-Zawayida area, central Gaza, wounding two citizens. The occupation artillery bombed east of Buraij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The occupation drones flew at low altitude in the airspace of the western area of Gaza City. In the south of the Gaza Strip, occupation vehicles stationed near the eastern border of the city of Khan Younus fired dozens of shells towards the areas of 'Abasan, Khuza’a, and Al-Zannah. K.T. *** *** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ý *** Palestinian woman shot and killed by Israeli occupation soldiers near Al-Khaleel (Hebron) Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (WAFA) – A 20-year-old Palestinian woman was shot and killed this morning near the village of Bait 'Ainoun, north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron). The General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health that the woman, Maymouna Abdul Hamid 'Hara'hsha, 20, was fatally shot in the head by Israeli soldiers north of Al-Khaleel (Hebron). The occupation soldiers deliberately left 'Hara'hsha to bleed to death and prevented ambulance crews to reach her. According to the Ministry of Health, the occupation forces are still withholding 'Hara'hsha's body. Y.S/K.T. *** Occupation forces detain 15 Palestinians in West Bank raids RAMALLAH, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces overnight detained at least 15 Palestinians in multiple raids across the West Bank, according to the Prisoners’ Affairs Commission (PAC) and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS). They said in a press release that the occupation forces conducted multiple raids, mainly in the West Bank districts of Jineen, Nablus, Ramallah, Al-Khaleel (Hebron) and Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and rounded up at least 15 Palestinians. They added that the large-scale raids involved causing extensive destruction of infrastructure and houses and brutal beating of detainees along with their families. As part of the 15 detainees, the gun-toting soldiers rounded up three Palestinians and ransacked the houses of their families in Ya‘bad town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin. They rounded up another from the village of Kafr Dan, northwest of Jenin, after stopping him at a military checkpoint in Wadi al-Badhan, northeast of Nablus. Still in the district of Jineen, the soldiers continued to invade Jalboun village for the third consecutive day, where they occupied the rooftops of two houses and used them as firing posts. They also confiscated a carwash facility and broke into and ransacked two storage rooms in the village. In the district of Qalqilya, the sources confirmed a similar raid in 'Azzoun town, east of the city, resulting in the detention of two youths. In the district of Nablus, a convoy of army vehicles stormed the 'Askar Al-Jadeed refugee camp, before the soldiers ransacked dozens of houses, interrogated many Palestinians and eventually detained two. In the southern West Bank district of Al-Khaleel, the Israeli occupation forces barged their way into 'Hal'houl town and detained two people after storming their houses and conducting thorough searches. PAC and PPS noted that at least 8,445 Palestinians have been detained from the West Bank, including Al-Quds (Jerusalem), since October 7. The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents. These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers. Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised. According to the latest figures from Al-Dhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 9,500 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 200 child prisoners and 80 female prisoners. This number includes approximately 3,660 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing. The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by Al-Dhameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one. K.F. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers
Hundreds of illegal Israeli settlers break into Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (WAFA) – Hundreds of fanatic illegal Israeli settlers Wednesday morning broke into the compounds of al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from the Israeli police. The extremist illegal Israeli settlers, divided into groups, raided the holy Islamic Mosque from al-Maghariba gate and took provocative tours in its compounds. It added that the colonists performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the Mosque. This comes at a time as Israeli occupation forces intensify measures against Palestinians coming from Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) to enter the Mosque, inspecting their IDs and briefly detaining them.
