While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

In a new provocation to Muslims, scores of illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque

Tuesday 23-April-2024

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

Dozens of the illegal Israeli extremist Jewish settlers, escorted by Israeli occupation regime police officers, desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards on Tuesday morning to mark what they call the Passover festival, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

Local sources reported seeing dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers, including rabbis, touring the Mosque’s courtyards and performing Jewish prayers while wearing religious attire.

For their part, Islamic Awqaf guards at Al-Aqsa Mosque said that over 200 settlers led by former Knesset member Yehuda Glick and rabbis entered the Mosque in different groups through the Maghariba Gate.

Meanwhile, Shaikh Mu'hammed Husain, Grand Mufti of Palestine and preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, strongly denounced the Israeli occupation police for allowing settlers to defile the Mosque and perform prayers in its courtyards to mark the Passover festival.

Shaikh Husain condemned such settler violations at the Islamic holy site as “aggression against the Muslim nation’s exclusive right to Al-Aqsa Mosque,” which he described as “part of the Muslim faith.”

WHO calls for safe passage of humanitarian aid in Gaza

Tuesday 23-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The head of the World Health Organization on Monday called for safe passage for humanitarian aid missions throughout Gaza after an aid team failed to complete its most recent trip to hard-hit northern Gaza.

WHO head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a statement that a mission by the WHO and its partners on Saturday at Kamal 'Udwan and Al-'Awda hospitals in northern Gaza was only partly completed “due to severe delays at checkpoints and ongoing hostilities.”

“As a result, fuel and medical supplies did not reach Kamal Adwan, for the second time in the last seven days, and partners were also unable to assess needs at Al-'Awda to support the restoration of services,” he said.

He said the team managed to evacuate four patients from Kamal Adwan, along with their caretakers, including a 9-year-old boy suffering from a head tumor.

“We again call for compliance with international humanitarian law, including access to health care and humanitarian aid for civilians in desperate need of help.” He also called for a cease-fire.

Israel has isolated northern Gaza since the opening days of the ground offensive in late October after ordering its population to flee to the south. Tens of thousands of people remained there despite the flattening of entire neighborhoods and severe shortages of food and water.

'Hamas mourning Al-Zindani: We have lost a sincere voice in support of legitimate Palestinian resistance

Tuesday 23-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement mourned on Monday the venerable Sheakh and preacher Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Zindani, saying that “Palestine today lost one of its great defenders, and a sincere voice in support of the Palestinian people and their legitimate right to resistance.”

The Movement said in its obituary, “We extend our condolences to the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation and mourn the venerable Sheikh and the great preacher, Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Zindani, founder of Al-Iman University in Yemen, and the International Authority for Scientific Miracles in the Quran and Sunnah in Makkah, and a member of the Supreme Authority of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform, and one of its founders, who passed away, on Monday, in the city of Istanbul, Turkey, at the age of 82, after a life full of giving.”

'Hamas confirmed in its obituary that the venerable Sheikh Al-Zindani, was, during his blessed biography and career, one of the most prominent men of education and advocacy in Yemen and the Islamic world, a pioneer of the scientific miracles in the Holy Qur’an, and a pillar of Islamic work in supporting the issues of the Islamic nation, at the forefront of which is the issue of Palestine, Jerusalem, and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

'Hamas concluded its obituary by saying, “We, Palestinians, lose today one of the great figures defending our people, an honest voice in support of our people’s legitimate resistance, and a sincere voice constantly calling for halting the Israeli aggression against our people and terminating the occupation of our land. We mourn with patience and consideration Sheikh Al-Zindani and extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to his honorable family, the brotherly Yemeni people, all of his students and followers. We ask Almighty Allah to grant him His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to make him dwell in the highest Paradise.”

Many Islamic scholars and bodies mourned the Yemeni scholar Sheikh Al-Zindani, who passed away on Monday in an Istanbul hospital, at the age of 82.

His son, Mu'hammed, wrote in a post on X, “We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.”

The Palestinian Scholars Association also mourned Sheikh Al-Zindani, whom it described as “a sublime figure of knowledge and advocacy in the Islamic nation, and one of the symbols of Islamic work in brotherly Yemen and the Islamic world.”

'Hamas: Blinken’s statements confirm US full partnership in the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip

Tuesday 23-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The 'Hamas Movement condemned on Monday the statements made by US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, in which he blamed the Movement for allegedly obstructing a ceasefire agreement.

“Blinken’s statements are untrue and contradict the evidence that Hamas repeatedly offered flexibility in order to help reach an agreement to end the war of aggression and genocide against our people. This was in contrast to Netanyahu and his government’s intransigence and procrastination, which aimed to prolong their rabid war against our people and put numerous obstacles in the way of the agreement, demonstrating that the Israeli captive issue is not a top priority.”

“Since day one, Hamas has made clear its demands, which are the same as what it presented last March and which the mediators and all parties accepted. They represent the national position of our people, mainly a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation forces, the return of the displaced people, intensified relief, and reconstruction.”

The Movement emphasized that the US is still playing a hostile role against the Palestinian people by falsely blaming 'Hamas, “despite being a full partner in the war of genocide against our people and continuing to provide political cover, weapons, and ammunition to the occupation.”

Euro-Med: Gazans are facing an unprecedented health and environmental crisis

Monday 22-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has said that the civilians in the war-torn Gaza Strip are facing an unprecedented health and environmental catastrophe in the midst of the ongoing Israeli genocide that entered its seventh month.

In a report on Monday, Euro-Med warned that infectious and deadly diseases and epidemics in Gaza would increase further due to contaminated water, overcrowding, high temperatures, the collapse of the health system, scarcity of medicines and sterilization supplies, waste pile-up and sewage overflow.

Euro-Med pointed out that children, especially newborns, elderlies and people with chronic health problems are the most affected by the worsening health catastrophe in Gaza.

Euro-Med also said that the Gaza population receives amounts of clean water much less than what they need, with the majority of them being forced to use polluted water that is not suitable for drinking, adding that water pollution leads to the spread of diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, and hepatitis, according to the World Health Organization.

Paired with the power outage crisis, the fuel shortage has led to the total closure of water desalination and sewage plants, greatly increasing the risk of bacterial infections spreading, Euro-Med said.

Euro-Med also pointed to the presence of thousands of decomposed corpses in horrific conditions in different streets and under the rubble of homes and others that had been eaten by stray dogs and cats.

UN rights chief 'horrified' by mass grave reports at Gaza hospitals

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 (WAFA) –

U.N. rights chief Volker Turk said on Tuesday that he was "horrified" by the destruction of Nasser and Al Shifa medical facilities in Gaza and reports of mass graves containing hundreds of bodies there, according to a spokesperson.

Palestinian authorities reported finding bodies in mass graves at a hospital in Khan Younis this week after it was abandoned by Israeli troops. Bodies were also reported at the Al Shifa site following an Israeli special forces operation.

"We feel the need to raise the alarm because clearly there have been multiple bodies discovered," said Ravina Shamdasani, the spokesperson for the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

"Some of them had their hands tied, which of course indicates serious violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law, and these need to be subjected to further investigations."

Turk, addressing a U.N. briefing via Shamdasani, also decried Israeli strikes on Gaza in recent days, which he said had killed mostly women and children.

He also repeated a warning against a full-scale incursion on Rafah, saying this could lead to "further atrocity crimes".

The Palestinian death toll from Israel's deadly offensive against the Gaza Strip since October 7th, 2023, has now soared to 34,183, according to medical sources.

Sources added that at least 77,143 others have also been injured in the onslaught.

At least 32 people were killed and 59 others were injured in Israeli attacks that took place in the last 24 hours, they added.

The sources said that many victims are still trapped under rubble and on the roads as rescuers are still unable to reach them.

Gazan photographer featured on TIME’s 100 most influential people list

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 (WAFA) –

Prominent Palestinian photojournalist Mo'taz 'Azayza, who has been documenting the Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7th, was chosen by TIME Magazine to be included among the 100 most influential people in the world list.

The 25-year-old was recognized by the magazine in the 2024 ‘Icons’ category.

TIME magazine described the Palestinian photojournalist Mo'taz 'Azayza as "the world’s eyes and ears in his native Gaza. Armed with a camera and a flak jacket marked “PRESS."

"The Palestinian photographer spent nearly four months documenting life under Israeli bombardment: families displaced from homes, women mourning loved ones, a man trapped beneath the rubble. His images offered a glimpse into Gaza that few in the international press—which has been all but barred from accessing the Strip—could rival," TIME said.

"Since evacuating Gaza in January, 'Azayza’s role has shifted to raising awareness of the crisis—and to calling for international intervention. “What is happening in Gaza is not content for you,” he said. “We are not telling you what is happening ... for your likes or views or shares. No, we are waiting for you to act. We need to stop this war," the magazine continued.

'Azayza took to X to express his joy to be featured on the American news magazine.

"I am really blessed to share my country name with me wherever I go or whatever I achieve," 'Azayza said. "For those who don’t recognize Palestine as a state, or for those who claim that it is their land. Palestine is going be free one day from Zionists and occupation. Everyone does his part, and my part is not done yet."

Egyptian doctor: The destruction in Gaza is beyond imagination, health situation is tragic

Monday 22-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Qasr Al-'Ainy School of Medicine in Egypt, A'hmed 'Abdul 'Azeez, said that the magnitude of the tragedies in the Gaza Strip is not reflected by the media. There is currently no available means to remove large quantities of the rubble from buildings that have turned into mass graves for entire families under their debris.

Dr. A'hmed 'Abdul 'Azeez appealed to everyone, in statements made to Al Jazeera network on Sunday, to work towards ending the war by any means and to restore the medical system in a way that matches the magnitude of the health catastrophe.

It has been circulated on social media that Dr. 'Abdul 'Azeez has closed his clinic in Egypt, and he was one of the first doctors to volunteer for humanitarian missions as part of medical delegations that assist in treating the injured in Gaza following the Israeli aggression on the Strip that has been ongoing since October 2023.

A need beyond imagination

Recently, the professor of orthopedic surgery moved to the northern Gaza Strip and described what he witnessed, saying that there is extensive destruction in the area and it is rare to find a standing house suitable for habitation. People, numbering in the hundreds of thousands, are living in inhumane conditions, with many families separated by a bed sheet stretched on a rope, exposed to the sky. There is no drinking water, sanitation, or any means of sustenance, and regular food supply is unavailable. “The magnitude of the tragedies is beyond imagination,” he asserted.

Even people in tents, as the Egyptian doctor describes them, “have no place to return to, and they will remain in this miserable situation because there are currently no suitable places for construction due to the heaps of debris that must be removed first before reconstruction can begin.”

The health situation

Regarding the health situation in the Gaza Strip, he said, “Medical teams are suffering from severe shortages, and their numbers are decreasing due to martyrdom and arrest of many of them. Those who remain are doing a great job, but they are exhausted and overwhelmed. The available resources are disappearing over time because the number of injured is over 70,000, and most of these cases involve injuries accompanied by fractures, exposed muscles, severed arteries, and tendons.”

The Egyptian doctor added that “these people now need treatment first, and they will require months, and perhaps several years, of complementary treatment until the tragedy they are experiencing is over.”

He continued, “There are, of course, natural diseases that spread in overcrowded areas, in addition to the numerous injuries among civilians, including women, children, and the elderly. The nature of these injuries is in the head, eyes, abdomen, and chest, and there are amputations. All of these scenes are extremely painful.”

'Abdul Azeez, who has been volunteering to treat the injured in Gaza since November 2023, appealed to everyone to work towards ending the war by any means and to restore the medical system in a way that matches the magnitude of the existing health disaster, and called for international solidarity to support reconstruction efforts and remove the effects of the aggression and debris, as all of Gaza is devastated both in terms of health and buildings.

However, the professor of orthopedic surgery at Qasr Al-'Ainy in Cairo describes the resilience shown by the people of Gaza in the face of Israeli killing machinery, saying that “the thing that no one has succeeded and will never succeed in destroying is the resilience, patience, and gratitude of these people to Allah Almighty, and their determination to remain in their land.”

“May Allah help them, and may each person be able to play their role, even if it is small, as that helps the group that is destined to remain in steadfastness and resilience in this way,” he said.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz is one of the leading consultants in the field of orthopedic surgery at the Qasr Al-Ainy School of Medicine in Cairo. Social media platforms have mentioned that he headed to northern Gaza with the first medical delegation that was able to reach there in 195 days, and he said at the time, “I am 75 years old, and I came here to die, not much is left in my life.”

Gaza: Death toll surges to 34,183 martyrs

Tuesday 23-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army committed three massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 32 civilians and injuring over 59 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but only 91 of them, including 32 martyrs, were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 34,183 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 77,143 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by 'Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

200 Days of Genocide: Israeli forces target Gaza beaches as warplanes continue bombing areas

GAZA, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation regime gunboats targeted several beaches of Al-Zawayida, Dair El-Bala'h, and Al-Nusayrat, while the areas north of the Gaza Strip saw a series of genocidal airstrikes, which resulted in the killing of a number of citizens, and injuring others, amidst destruction of homes and property.

WAFA correspondents said that after 200 days of Israeli aggression, occupation warships bombed the beaches of the Al-Zawayida and Dair El-Bala'h areas in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli gunboats also fired shells towards Al-Nusayrat Beach in the central Gaza Strip.

The occupation artillery targeted north of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip, while warplanes raided Al-Thalatheeni Street in the center of Gaza City.

The areas of northern Gaza and the city of Khan Younus, south of the Strip, saw a series of violent raids by occupation aircraft as well.

The Israeli occupation forces Monday evening bombed several areas in the Gaza Strip. WAFA correspondent reported that the forces entered the town of Bait 'Hanoun, north of the Strip, from several directions amidst gunfire, while the Israeli artillery bombed the vicinity of the shelter centers on Zamo Street in the town.

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 8,430 Palestinians from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since October 7, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

In a fact sheet marking the occasion of 200-day anniversary of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, PPS said that among the 8,430 detainees were 280 women and girls, including women detained from the 1948 territories and women holders of Gaza resident identity card rounded up from the West Bank.

PPS added that the 8,430 detainees also included at least 540 minors, including those released afterwards, and noted that the majority of detainees in Israeli custody were placed under administrative detention or were indicted for incitement on social media platforms.

According to the PPS, over 9,500 Palestinian political prisoners were held in Israeli prisons and detention centers until the beginning of April 2024, including 200 child prisoners and 80 female prisoners. This number includes over 3,660 Palestinians, including 22 women and over 40 children, placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

Among the over 9,500 Palestinian political prisoners held until the beginning of April 2024 are 849 Palestinians detained under Israel's Unlawful Combatants Law, as announced by the Israeli Prison Administration (IPA).

The occupation authorities have issued 5,210 new and renewed administrative detention orders.
