According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (http://www.palestinercs.org), since the beginning of the Palestinian Uprising (Al-Intifadha), on September 29, 2000, the Israeli occupation forces killed 1,269 and injured 18,603 Palestinians. Hundreds of Palestinian houses were demolished and unknown number of trees were uprooted by the Israeli occupation soldiers. Also about 388 Israelis were killed and about 1,484 were injured. The following is an attempt by Al-Jazeerah Information Center to document the occupation victims starting from the second half of February 2002 (Note: There may be some differences between the total figures provided by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, above, and the figures provided by the Arabic media, below).
