The Palestinian "Terrorist"
By Omar Edaibat
March 18, 2004
Distraught and debased, perpetually enraged Like an animal or a bird so callously encaged Do you not hear? His recalcitrance is deep to the bone
Hunger, misery, plunder, a torrential of incessant terror Yet it is he who is depraved and the fount of all error Do you not ponder? His indignation is but fuel to his resistance
Alas! It is not them, it is not us, it is but he who is “The Cancer” In the midst of this sickening carnage so clear to all is the answer Do you not see? His cancer is but the cause of occupation’s “Radiation”
Bombs, tanks, guns, every conceivable tool and military weapon Perniciously bombarded, endlessly humiliated by this toxic venom Do you not understand? His resistance shall never cease
Impetuously unwavering for his brethrens’ emancipation In spite of all simmering desire for his spirit’s encapsulation Do you not know? It is him whom they call the Palestinian “Terrorist”
