I'm a Dreamer

I’m a dreamer,
Thinking helplessly.
I envision a life in the home of my great grandfather Ali.
I see my children playing along in the streets and having no fears.
I’m a dreamer,
Feeling security,
I envision a life of joy and glee.
I see everyone living in happiness and security.
I’m a dreamer…willing to risk it all.
To take the step that was needed for all.
To give hopes and calm the fears.
Wait!
This is not a dream.
Or is it?
I am…
But not for long…I know our hopes will come soon…
Palestine will blossom.
The Zionist regime, Sharon, and Bush…
They will bear witness to our state…
I’m a dreamer…but not for long…
I am the hope that lives for Palestine…
I am the tear that falls for Palestine…
I am the voice that recites for Palestine
I am the dreamer…with my words and actions
With our commitment…
Palestine shall be returned into the arms of the dreamer…
A dreamer that that always dreamt…
A dreamer that never gave up…
I am the dreamer…
For Palestine I am…
I am the dreamer…
For Palestine I always will…!
